Worst dentist office Ive ever been to.1) The rooms are noticeably missing typical sterile coverings and drapes on their equipment. The technician was even using the keyboard and mouse (uncovered) in-between placing the x-ray insert in my mouth. I told him about this and he apologized and wiped down the mouse. Usually the offices I visit, all the water and suction tools also have sterile wrap on them that is replaced between each patient, some even do this in front of you so youre sure its new sterile wraps.2) After the x-rays I legitimately waited in the room for an hour before the doctor came in. She looked at my teeth for ~1 minute and said my teeth were fine and healthy. She then said she recommends the deep clean for me and that Id have to schedule it and come back. [BACKGROUND: When I scheduled the appointment as a new customer I told them I want to have my checkup and cleaning on the same day because I have to get a baby sitter for the trip, they said sure and gave me a day that the hygienist would be in the office.] I informed the Dr. that I wanted to just get a standard cleaning today instead of the deep cleaning later. She said Since I recommended the deep cleaning, I cant give you the standard cleaning. I reminded her that she just informed me my teeth were fine, why do I need some special deep cleaning? And I asked what the price difference is. She told me neither cleaning is covered by insurance so both would be out of pocket, that she wont talk finances with me, that she had other patients and couldnt give [me] a cleaning today. (Shouldnt the hygienist that was supposed to be here be doing my cleaning?). I said, fine, Ill go talk to the office manager about the price difference and consider the deep cleaning.3) When I got to the front reception, I was handed a quote for $520 out of pocket for the deep cleaning, and was told to ignore the $0 in the insurance column because we dont bill insurance, we just give our customers the discount directly. It would normally be about $1500 but since you have insurance, we discount you down to $520. Seeing that as a red flag...I asked why would you simply discount me $1000 because I have insurance, when youre not going to bill the insurance company for anything?. Normally, they bill the insurance $1500 (for example), insurance pre-agrees to pay $1000, and they bill you the remaining $500 for example. I was told, its just how we have it set up here. My GUESS is...most of their patients are recommended to get deep cleanings even if they dont need it. And to keep it off the insurance radar (because it would be a red flag to them) they dont bill or notify insurance. Of course when I asked how much a standard cleaning would be, she said $0 because it IS covered by insurance, but since the doctor already recommended a deep cleaning, they could not provide that service to me.I left, with no future appointment schedule. Spent an hour and a half there and only got x-rays and the doctor to look at my teeth for 1 minute.

Woooow! This place is amazing. The staff is so kind and they go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend coming here. Dr. Mandy was so kind & did her absolute best to answer all my questions.

Where can I start, I drive all the way from LA to Napa where Dr. Manindirjit’s Dental Office is located to get my dental work done.She is very gentle, and the most pain you will ever feel with her is just when you get numb (small pinch) because she is that gentle throughout the whole procedure. Dr. Manindirjit is caring and truly cares about her patients. Dr. Manindirjit makes you feel like if the person treating you is your Mom, she is that awesome.Dental Assistant Monica is very kind and helpful as well and compliments Dr. Manindirjit because her work and touch is gentle as well and ensures once Dr. Manindirjit is done with the main work to ensure that the procedure gets closed out smoothly.When it comes to finances and checking in Office Manager Talía is very kind, trustworthy and transparent with all the numbers/finances. She makes you feel like if you’ve been going to that Dental Office since you are a kid and accommodates you immediately. She makes the wait time very minimal and ensures that you get taken care of. She is super knowledgeable and will work with you despite any financial hardships that you may have, she’s great.This Dental Office I will recommend to anyone and am planing in bringing my kids and wife here in the near future for the whole fam to get our dental work done despite the drive because they treat you like family and lookout for the best interest for you.

I had a deep cleaning done at the office. Dr. Mandy is very professional and friendly. The staff took good care of me such as providing me water, blanket while the treatment was happening and I felt really comfortable. I did not feel any pain, treatment was done very professionally and smoothly.

This is the first dentist I’ve visited since moving to CA nearly 8 years ago where I feel my dental care is being addressed not only appropriately but with education into what needs to be done and why. I did need to have some work done and was shown pictures of my teeth to help me see the issues of concern. These were not just the x-rays but actual photos of my teeth taken before the procedure. Staffing are very friendly and supportive as I expressed my anxieties in having dental work.I would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist to give Alora Dentistry a try.

I’ve been to many dentistry’s over a long process of me fixing my teeth. It was really hard at first trying to set up long term plans with all my previous dentists but I can say Alora Dentistry has surpass my expectations. Im a new patient at Alora Dental. The dentist Dr. Mandy is the best dentist Ive ever been to. Im in my sixties and have been to many many dentists. Dr. Mandy gives you the most thorough exam, checking all oral health. The staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. I Love this dentist.

Dr. Mandy at Alora Dentistry came to my rescue when I had two emergencies.My tooth cracked in half, the root exposed and was causing enormous amounts of pain. I found that a lot of dental offices advertise emergency services, but after calling none could help. They only had regular hours and appointments a week away from when I called. In a last ditch effort I called Alora Dentistry, they offered a phone number to Dr. Mandy and a live chat. I contacted the office with through chat, Dr. Mandy was on the phone with me in less than 10 minutes. She scheduled me for the next day and helped relieve my pain. Turns out the next step was a root canal but that office couldnt take me until July. The pain came back with a vengeance and Dr. Mandy was on the phone with me again, gave me an appointment and at my request removed the tooth. I no longer have pain and Dr. Mandy will be giving me options to fill the hole after the area heals.

Alora dentistry staff is always so welcoming the moment you walk in. They take great care of you. The dentist and dental hygienists are amazing. They are gentle and make you feel so comfortable. I walk out with clean teeth and happy to know I have such a great dentist.

Both of my children go to Alora Pediatric Dentistry and I go to the adult dentist at Alora. Every time we walk in, we are greeted by an amazing staff. We are always treated kindly! The office manager, Rosa, is not only helpful, but she greets each patient with a smile and genuine courtesy! Anytime I have a question or concern, she looks into it and assists me in a timely manner. I highly recommend Alora Dentistry, as the dentists are amazing as well! I have been to many different dentists in the Napa area, and Alora has been the best experience overall!

My husband and I were not happy with our prior dentist office as the staff were rude and constantly overcharging us for mistakes in inputting insurance information. My dental hygienist Cindy was equally friendly and personal with me. She’s was gentle with my cleaning and had great bed side manners. The dentist was professional and didn’t seem to be pushing any unnecessary dental work which I have felt other dentists have done in the past. We are very pleased with our new Dentist Office and would recommend Alora to any family or friends in the Napa Valley!

I had a dental emergency over the Memorial Holiday with the Covid lockdown in Napa. Dr. Mandi agreed to see me without ever having met me and knowing I am not a local resident. Pretty amazing in itself.She took care of me immediately, although she had to play receptionist and dentist while taking care of her regular clientele.Great dentist for me. Nice, didnt rush you out, and very competent. She did not try to sell me procedures I didnt want and fixed me up as I requested. Highly recommend and very conveniently located in Napa.

Alora Pediatric Dentistry Is highly recommended, from my experience. The staff is well prepared to treat kids, they are super friendly and make the kids feel welcome. The doctors are super patient and perform at a super high level with the kids. I had never experienced any doctor or staff be so patient and friendly with my kids, the way I have seen it happen at Alora Dentistry.

The reason I rated my experience as a 3 was there was a misfire in communication about how often your office does full mouth Xrays and secondly I just don’t see how a thorough cleaning can be done in 5 minutes. I am looking for a new dental home after being with the same dentist for over twenty years and I need to have confidence in the new office I select. The cleaning was the most important thing to me today and I don’t feel confident that the cleaning was thorough. Thank you all for being so nice today!

They were able to get me in for a cleaning as a new patient quickly and without hassle (not the case for other offices I called). I had a small cavity that required attention and Dr. Kaur and staff did a great job. Would highly recommend!

I went to Alora for the first time shameful that I was presenting them nothing short of a complete disaster, but Dr. Das is the best. He has been incredibly kind, patient, and very straightforward about the intensity of what we are staring down. Additionally, Dr. Kaur, the lovely assistants, technicians, and the entire Alora staff is out of this world sweet and if I could afford it, I would tip everyone there hundreds of dollars every time I have to go in. It has honestly been the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office, right down to the friendly “welcome” sign on the front door. I can’t say enough how much I recommend them, especially after having been so worried and self-conscious (and in pain) over my smile for so long. Thank you so much to everybody there. Im especially pleased with the work that Dr. Kaur did on my front tooth. The old filling was rather rough and messy looking, but the bonding she did on it makes it look as good as new. She did a beautiful job.

Great practice with friendly and talented staff. I came in for a root canal, which can be an intimidating experience. Dr. Kaur was very compassionate and meticulous (good qualities in a dentist!). She frequently asked me throughout the process if I was feeling any pain (I wasnt) and did fabulous work on my teeth. I love the new upgrades in the office and the logos outside separating the pediatric side from adult dentistry are creativily designed and cute.

I had a similar experience as another reviewer, office is very disorganized, different people called and texted me 4 times the day before the appointment to ask if I could come in earlier even though I answered them every time saying I could not. Hygienist took me in 10 minutes before appointment and before I filled out new patient paperwork, so she had no information about me. She left before completing the cleaning saying shed be back to finish cleaning and polish teeth. I explained to the dentist what the hygienist said about coming back and dentist said youre finished, Im the dentist and you dont need polishing or more cleaning. I have never had a cleaning without polishing, or had that kind of response from a dentist.

My family loves coming here and being greeted with a smile. The dental staff at Alora Dentistry is warm and friendly. They know how to make you feel comfortable if going to the dentist is not your thing, as it is for my son. He hates needles/shots. Dr. Nuthyla Skuja is a board certified pediatric dentist and knows how to not let him know that he is getting a shot. Now if you dont need a pediatric dentist, then Dr. Mandy Kaur is for you. She is up in all of the latest dental techniques to ensure that you have the best care possible. For me, she is helping to fix my over bit and straighten my teeth with Invisaligners. The process is painless and easy to handle and nobody knows that you are fixing your smile, unlike conventional braces. Alora Dentistry is definitely for the whole family.
