Jackie, has no idea what a significant impact she had on my life last Sat, 8/14. I had promised my daughter and her friends at Chico State, that Id be there to cook for them. Then I had to put my own car in the shop. They could not return it in time. Obviously, my daughter thought she would be let down. Not a great feeling as an only parent. I could not find a car on the quick anywhere. Not to mention no one answers the phone live, or they do not on the weekends at least. Having never rented a car before this was a new encounter. Finally called AVIS Napa, Jackie answered the phone live! No, no cars yet try back around 1:00pm she said enthusiastically. There was at least the smallest glimmer of hope at that moment. I, called back 1:00 on the dot. Jackie, being friendly says no, none yet. She was waiting for returns. Then, just then she said here comes one! How soon can you get her she asks. Ill be there in 10-15 min. She made the process easy breeze, was engaging. I told her my plight, she acted like she really cared. She even offered me fresh veggies & fruit to take to Chico w/ me. She not only saved me from becoming a deadbeat mom, she also helped me feed 8 hungry college students. Could not have asked for more. I am actually tearing up writing this, that is just how much Jackies kindness meant to me. Thank you, Jackie!!! Ill sing your praises far & wide already in action! Amazing service, so friendly. We rented a Yukon from SFO and hated how big it was driving around. Called and asked if they could swap it out for us and they did.
Jackie at Avis in Napa made my decision to be loyal! Picked up the car early, it was clean and fast check out. When I dropped the car off at another location I called her and she checked it in. No hidden fees, transparent and reliable. Avis will be my first car rental choice in Napa.
I Brought it back early no credit They gave a dirty car to us other customer receipt still in car dirt on carpet out side very dirty paint was not clean tires were very close to the wear bar had America tire look at the tires said it needed to be replaced. They did not give me a full tank of gas. We took a picture before we left to bring the car back at the same level. Showed him the pictures. Told me that the next time come in let them know so they could address it. Got our receipt left looked at it days later he charged for the gas without saying anything to us SLICK MOVE!!! There is a gas station next door. He was calling me a liar about that is a doctored picture. I showed him the date stamp with GPS said I doctored it. He said he just got one of Elvis that is real also. I dont think he is very kind he will take what he can. If you dont want the car that he gives refuse it say that you are not taking it. Better yet go down the road and rent a car from them Enterprise Rent-A-Car Napa.they will give you a super rate.
We had a flat tire with our first Avis rental car and didnt get any replacement. After several not-so-helpful phone calls with Avis roadside assistance folks, we are very grateful that Jackie from this Avis location was able to help us get a replacement vehicle. She was very kind to explain to us what we should do to deal with this situation with the corporate Avis, etc. We called other Avis locations too and this was the only place that was willing to help. Thanks for all of your help!
My boyfriend and I had a really difficult situation because our personal car broke in Napa when we were heading back home. We live in Southern California so it was really terrible that we spent almost whole day waiting if they can fix the car. They couldnt, so we had to rent the car to drive back. We were so tired after the whole day of misadventures. We went to Enterprise and then oh! surprise! They COULDNT rent us a car because of the debit card. Well... Yes, we didnt have credit card with us because we didnt expect that our car is going to brake so far away from home, and also that we will need credit card because of the rental company policy. They werent of course care about the circumstances there. Then we went to AVIS/BUDGET and they did rent us a car without any problem! The lady was very nice and professional. Everything took like 5 minutes and we were already on the way back home. Thank you AVIS for renting us a car without any problem! It is a joke that for one company is a huge problem and for other is like nothing. Good job! Im not going to rent a car with Enterprise anymore!
Two times this summer I have rented cars from Avis at SFO. Both times the car that I requested was not in the space ( and had been confirmed by an email). I called the Napa Avis location because that’s where I was headed just to see what they might have in stock. The person who answered the phone was so rude to me I’m not sure I will ever rent from Avis again.

We will be using AVIS from here on out. Firstly, my wife reserved us a car through AVIS over the Memorial holiday weekend (also our anniversary trip) simply because they were over $20 a day cheaper than all of the other rental places. Secondly, we ended up being delayed to pick up our car due to horrible traffic and Jackie stayed almost an entire hour past closing to make certain that we had a vehicle. Could you imagine how badly our holiday/anniversary trip to wine country could have started off if Miss Jackie had no not bent over backwards to accommodate us in our predicament? You just dont encounter this kind of service and caring from companies in this day and age, which is why Miss Jackie has made us loyal customers. Outstanding service and great rental rates = loyal customers. Thank you Miss Jackie for helping my wife and I have a wonderful anniversary trip.
The woman who helped at at the Napa Avis counter was VERY helpful and attention to our needs. We were on vacation, after 2 1/2 weeks in our personal car, and as we were leaving Napa, someone rear ended our personal car and totaled it. We needed to return home to Montana ideally no later than the next day. Luckily, there was a car available and one large enough to hold 2 1/2 weeks worth of stuff!! Finding an available car in Napa was a miracle in itself-- The woman at Avis worked really hard to give us a car that would work for our needs. She was very attentive, professional and efficient. Cant thank her enough. Two thumbs up for Napa Avis!!

My husband and I rented a car from Ais in Napa, CA. We had a whole week long trip planned out that ended in San Diego. Unfortunately, the day after we picked up our car, we had a death in our family; we had enough time before the funeral to visit a few places before we went home, so we called the general Avis number (not the location we picked up) and they said that we would need to pay an additional $300 to drop our car off early in LA. I understand that we received a discount because we were renting for a week and it was a different location (a closer location), bu we had a death in our family and we were not asking for a refund. The Avis staff was not helpful or compassionate at all and I decided that I would NEVER use them again. Fortunately, I decided to call the original drop off location in Napa and they instantly helped me and were very compassionate and sorry for our sudden loss. Overall, everything else was truly great; pick up, drop off, car, etc. This being said, I will recommend Avis, but ONLY because of my experience in Napa. I would also recommend to everyone else that use Avis to only call your pick up location when you need something. P.S. They give military discount through USAA.
Avis Napa is the only car rental company I use in Napa. The staff is friendly and professional.
