Living at Montrachet has been such an amazing experience! The facilities and grounds are always impeccable, as well as the staff. From the tour to the move to the maintenance, everyone has always been so responsive and lovey! You will not find a better apartment community in Napa, or the Bay Area! I would like to particularly recognize Jose from engineering for always going above and beyond and addressing every concern in a timely manner and with a great sense of urgency!

If you are looking for the best place to live in Napa, Montrachet is not even close. We dont know if the leasing staff have a problem with us as we are not US residents, but they put so many obstacles in the application that they made us live hell. Every time they ask something and we brought it to them, they would find a “problem”; even though the papers were in perfect condition.We believed they discriminated us. Not being enough, we paid a fee and they didn’t refund it.We dont recommend this place. A really bad experience.

Malissa is great to deal with. She is very friendly and professional. Id shoot her an email and shed promptly respond and her answers were always so helpful. Looking forward to my official move-in next month!

I’ve resided at Montrachet for nearly six years and it’s a wonderful apartment living community. Amenities include an outdoor pool, cookout space, workout room, guest suites, package reception service, social activities, and more. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional.

Lived here last year for work and had an awesome year. I had an apartment over looking the pool and I have to say coming from a big city there was not a lot of noise which was great. I lived here while they were still doing upgrades but they were always very clear about building times and updates. My only improvements would be the water pressure to the higher floors and no elevators . On the positive but my unit was clean, customer service was responsive and I felt very safe. Would recommend to others. I had a great time having friends over, plenty of things to do in Napa & St.Helena area.

The sites Leasing Agent, Melissa Seiger was exceptionally helpful and professional through the entire rental agreement process. She went above and beyond making sure we met our expectation. Very appreciative of her support and professionalism.

I have lived in the Montrachet Apartments for 5 years and I am going to renew my lease for the sixth time this coming May. Living here has been a blessing! It has everything you could want in an apartment community:1. Wonderful amenities: pool, gym, guest housing2. Beautiful apartments: quality appliances, great floor plans, lots of storage, well-built structures (quiet).3. Fabulous location: right on the bus line to get up valley with ease, great shopping just steps away, and just minutes to downtown Napa.4. Well maintained: the maintenance staff is professional, prompt and spot on. They really care about our community.5. Amazing staff: I cannot say enough about Tammy, Ashley and Malissa. They are on top of their game and are ALWAYS there to assist me with kindness.The bottom line, I would recommend Montrachet Apartments 100%. You get what you pay for. In the Bay Area housing is a real gamble. I would much rather pay a little more for premium housing and improve my quality of life.

I moved to Montrachet not even 3 months ago, I think, and I am very impressed with Ashley from the office amongst other things. She has been incredible with us from the application process through all the moving and our arrival. Always returns our calls and emails and does way beyond her call of duty. I really feel I am living in a 5 star resort, this is not an ad :-). The place is very well kept, people are ALWAYS in a good mood, and they have been amazing with Covid-19 protocols. I have seen every employee with masks 😷, there is always a box of wipes at the pool and I have seen many times on weekends Ashley herself spraying our chairs and tables. I don’t remember the other people’s name here yet but trust me, they are all extremely courteous and very eager to help in any way they can. I love the mail room, it’s very safe and easy to get our packages. The gym looking at the pool makes me feel I am on vacation. I feel extra safe with the security, actually one main point that weighted heavily on my decision to move in. I see them often at night. Cleanliness at the garbage cans area is greatly appreciated and is always kept really well. The other residents are so wonderful and welcoming, I am very grateful. I love I can walk to the best grocery store in Napa every time I forget something to cook. I also appreciate walking to Starbucks or CVS, this is really wonderful. I am truly happy 😃 here. Ashley thank you for all the hard work and please thank all of the others at your team.

The one thing I will say about the Montrachet Apartment experience, is that the management is second to none!! My girlfriend and I have lived here for a year, and have had multiple conversations on how unbelievably great management has been. Rare for apartment living to say the least. Also in terms of maintenance of the entire property they are on it. Grass, paint etc all beautifully maintained. Pool/grill area is a summertime saver, fitness center is actually legitimate. Last thing on this review, it’s SO nice to have free espresso! Felt compelled to share, great living experience at Montrachet. Always starts and ends with management, so a big shout out to them!A. I could not have asked for a better first home after moving across the country!! The front office staff is so nice and always helped me with any questions I had! The maintenance staff is amazing. If I wasnt moving to a 3 bedroom I would definitely be staying here for a LONG time! I HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I have to say I never lived in a place were management was so amazing. Not only they care about their residents but specially during this Covit-19 they’ve been always there for everyone. We feel so safe and comfortable here that we decided to stay for longer. They always respond the same day, their manteinance team it’s always hands on and their reopening of common areas it’s been the safest I’ve seen from all the other condominiums. Thank you Tammy, Malissa and Ashley for always being there for us and our furry ones:)

During these very uncertain times I thought it was important because I don’t leave many reviews and I really really have always had the most lovely experience with Montrache apartments and Napa.It feels more like a resort so I kind of chuckled when I see the word apartments.I invest in real estate so every few years I buy for the last 30 years in Sonoma and Napa and on three or four occasions I think I’m on the fourth?We have lived here during remodels 👍(with my husband of 30 years)The amenities are exceptional and that’s what first drew us here because I am an avid swimmer and they have a most lovely saltwater pool surrounded by more amenities, much of that is probably online but basically they have a very large entertainment area with top-of-the-line outdoor barbecues beautiful furniture adjacent to their gym which also has state of the art equipment. (adjacent but definitely separate from the pool area).Our latest project I was concerned that perhaps I was not going to be able to swim due to Covid?but their swimming pool is outside and they are absolutely on top of it with scores of people constantly cleaning wiping taking care of all the needs we as guests would worry about for COVID-19.Sanatizing constantly!With that said, I love the swimming pool I also love the fact that it looks like and feels like a very nice hotel!👏🏻👍🌺We are just a stones throw away from The Boutiqe winery a lovely grocery store Mexican food Italian food and a brand new renovated pharmacy and you can find everything you need by just walking out the door if you are not from here or don’t work from here you don’t even need a car all your food and all of your needs can be met by walking 3/10 of a mile or so.In addition we are also avid swimmers boaters standup paddlers etc. and all of that is also just about a half a mile away, you can be in your bathing suitSix months out of the year, and stand up paddle all the way to Yountville which is north of us.The folks here just make everything feel at EASE!We have been coming here during our larger projects so we would not have to live at home listening to nails and saws LOL,...Before 2017, to the present projects, our short term leases are always worth every penny and do not compare, “location location location”!!!They are pet friendly but in a very good way, Enforcing once again their cleanliness and guidelines.I really don’t see too many people walking dogs as there are so many paths the Napa River is a stones throw away this so beautiful in the spring and summer and winter recreation is a bound and we are also so close to Silverado Trail if you don’t have a pet and are interested in walking the trails there is shopping galore wineries etc.They also just implemented which I greatly appreciated a large portion of their parking area for cars that need to be “ CHARGED”, Rather than run on gasoline this is very exciting and wonderful“Green News”!I I am a native Californian and grew up in Los Gatos California and my husband grew up in Marin California we just love this place in between our projects and hope that you will find this a helpful review🌺

We love living at Montrachet. The apartments are beautiful, and the facility is well maintained. The salt water pool is a must in the summer, and having the grocery store right next door is a plus. The office staff is always incredibly friendly, and the maintenance staff is so quick!

I moved in as a single mom with two kids and two pets. I was happy to know how wonderful not only the amenities were but the office and maintenance staff. You can easily stay there comfortably for years. It has everything you need for being a dog owner; dog washing station, dog park, and dog poop stations located all over the property. The inside is upgraded and has a very nice modern look to it. Very roomy too. The office often host fun events like movie night or Christmas wrapping in the lobby where they supply everything, you just bring your gift. One great thing about Montrachet is it is very hard to get good management and staff in apartments but Montrachet has done a stellar job of hiring the best staff. They answer my calls and emails same day and are always there to assist. The pool and BBQ area are lovely. They heat the pool over the winter months so its nice to have a pool year round. They have a cute little gym that has everything you need and the office always has hot coffee, a dog treat, or candy available. They offer the Luxor for your packages to arrive securely until you are ready to pick them up. The Luxor is a locked room that you have to fob in and enter in a code to retrieve your packages keeping them safe from doorstep bandits. If you are going to rent in Napa choose Montrachet. The location is prime!

Great apartments to live. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel at home. I especially enjoy the Halloween party they hosted for the complex! Looking forward to future events. Lots of food for tenants and their pets. Would definitely recommend this complex to others looking to rent in the area.

Before you read anything, half of these 5* reviews on here are from former employees. So already dont believe the hype. Also if you like your money and like to keep it, this is 100% not the place for you. They will try very very hard to extort your money from you in every way possible. With the already ridiculously high rent their going to keep your security deposit and charge you on top of that. Also when you think you might want to stay another year to pay that crazy rent, there going to raise that already crazy rent another $200. Ive talked to many former tenants here and this seems to be a running trend.I would recommend any of the other apartment places around this one, just not this one.Only good thing about this place was maybe the pool. Its hard to appreciate a needle in a haystack though.

I would say that the Montrachet apartments is a beautiful complex and has great privacy. The biggest negative about this complex is the customer service here. It is not up to international standards. The front desk especially needs to change and bring in more customer friendly and focused individuals.

It so sad to see that such a wonderful facility has such terrible management. I live there for one year and kept my apartment very clean, the normal wear and tear, and I did not get a bit of my security deposit back. In fact Montrachet is trying to charge me on top of the deposit. I would not recommend this living situation to anyone. They will take advantage and they will over charge you for everything. Sadly, there are only a few options for luxury apartments in Napa. I highly recommend to go with the alternatives.

I lived here for my first 6 months of living in the great Napa valley. I wouldn’t recommend this place as there isn’t anything luxurious about it. It is a nice apartment but for the price it’s not even close. The best part is the pool and hot tub and having the grocery store in walking distance. If you want a real Napa experience I would look elsewhere. Had to argue with management about getting my deposit back and they try to ding you for every little thing. I got professional cleaners in there before I moved out that they referred and then charged me more since their recommendation didn’t do a good job? They ended up refunding and gave me back like half my original deposit.Lastly I moved out and had very important mail sent there when I left and I believe they didn’t care for it nor did they send it to my new address which they ask for when you move out in order to send your mail to you. This is ridiculous and the leasing agents told me to call dmv after the dmv told me they delivered the item on the week of thanksgiving... it’s now past Xmas. Take care of your past, current and future residents.

For those of you who are considering renting an apartment from this management group be warned that you will be sorely disappointed once you get beyond the veneer and initial necessities

Montrachet is a somewhat tempting residential option given the paucity of affordable rental units in Napa. I spent one year here and escaped the day my lease was up.- The management office uses conservice for billing (I encourage you to look it up if youre not familiar). Its a 3rd party billing service that bills tenants and advertises to management offices that they will extract more money from tenants for utilities, etc.- Management office tries to bill tenants for random things not included in lease agreement (I literally had to go line by line through my lease to dispute charges on multiple occasions. Management office later conceded that there was no language allowing them to expect these fees).- Street noise for apartments on Soscol is unbearable.- Frequent random inspections of units.- Management office forgets about requests for simple amenity improvements after agreeing to them.- Cookie cutter poor-quality building with granite counter tops = luxury. My carpet, balcony wood, and blinds were all falling apart within a few months.- They WILL take almost all of your deposit when you vacate, regardless of how well you maintain the apartment and clean.-6-8% yoy rent increases. They are counting on you being too lazy to move.Edit: I also recognize the names of the positive reviews here from the Montrachet management office staff. Thats pretty informative...Edit #2: In response to Montrachets comment below: actually, your management office charged me for both full painting ($300-400) and the highest cleaning billing ($230), which is designated as tenant performed zero cleaning and has eviction-level cleanliness. Your painting is serviced in-house, which allows you to treat tenant deposits as additional cash flow for routine maintenance.Has your office refunded the dozens (hundreds?) of other tenants that you demanded service charges from which were not disclosed in your leases? I know that the last time we discussed this issue your office was revising the language in all of your lease documents to allow you to charge extra fees through Conservice. But to my knowledge you have not refunded any of your other current or previous tenants.

Una experiencia terrible. Al parecer es mas fácil conseguir una cita con el Papa Francisco que te aprueben el crédito como inquilino. Después de demostrar MAS de 2.5 veces el alquiler, y estarcon todas las condiciones económicas mas que acordes; por Ser latinos debíamos cumplir mas requisitos y mostrarles toda nuestra privacidad financiera/económica. Hemos estado en otros complejos y ninguno con este trato. No lo recomiendo ni para cruzar por la vereda.
