Was looking for a riding mower. They didnt have the riding mower we wanted and it most likely would not be available this year. The entire valley is low on mowers. Staff was helpful enough but our salesperson was not the friendliest.
Not exactly a place you just drive by and decide on a whim to check out. However, assuming you are looking for a tractor, farm implements, or parts, this is the place to go. The salesman I dealt with (Jared) was awesome. Not at all pushy, but very helpful and informative with my decision making. One of the owners delivered my purchase and took great care and time showing my wife and I the operating procedures and needs. If you need a tractor, Idaho Tractor is where to go!!!
My tractor was here for just about a month if not longer, after letting them know I would need it back quickly which they said would be fine. I finally got it back just to spend over $1,100 for a service and blade replacement. They charged $105/Hour for labor for 8 hours for a total of $840 on labor alone. What a joke. Not to mention that they looked at an electrical problem, found 2 dead wires, charged me for the time it took them to inspect the issue, but did not fix it or even let me know until I showed up to pick it up. This place is a dishonest and unprofessional. I will be using other dealer service departments from now on who charge an actually reasonable price as well as do a good job. $105/hour for labor is absolutely insane.
I have purchased several skidsteer loaders, excavators, trenchers and many attachments throughout the past 25+ years from Idaho Tractor. I have rented several pieces of equipment from them as well. This is a well respected, honest and good family run business. They have also provided service and repairs on my equipment throughout the years. I have been happy and satisfied with the sales and service side of the business and will continue to purchase equipment from them for my construction business.
We spent a great deal of time researching our tractor investment for our farm/equestrian property. We contemplated several manufacturers prior to deciding to move forward with Idaho Tractor and purchased a Kubota L3560 LE. Customer service is of paramount importance in our handling of business and we felt from our first introduction that this family owned business would have our best interest in mind and provide superior customer service and support. Idaho Tractor has never waivered and has stood behind their promise to back a quality produce, provide innovative solutions and have handled each interaction with the utmost integrity and professionalism. We are thankful to have joined the Idaho Tractor family.
What isnt there to love about Tractor Supply! :) Super friendly and helpful staff.
Great dealer and more. Wanted a tractor and started leaning towards a Kubota. Called and got put in touch with Dave. Its a family run business with good old fashion family values. We actually talked quite a bit and I got to know Dave just a bit...Honest guy. Friendly. Knows his stuff in and out. I ended up buying from them at an untouchable deal, and it was the first deal offered...THATS THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!! I shop, I grind for a good deal...I have run dealerships and I can tell you this is a class act dealer and family. Make Idaho tractor your first stop. Youll save yourself a ton of time. Nice job guys. Ill be back for that upgrade I know Ill need when I get the rest of my land.👍
I trust this locally owned family business. The service is excellent and I’m glad I purchased my tractor from them when I did two years ago.
Good old fashion service
Awesome service!!
We called and talked to them for a couple hours on the phone to make sure they have the parts. We live a few hours away. When we got there it took another hour to get only part of the parts together and they didnt have the rest.
After a mishap with our Kubota 3710 where the front right wheel fell off the tractor, I had my daughter bring both the wheel and the hub assembly to Idaho Tractor for repair. When she asked for an estimate on the repairs, Jeff at the service center informed her he would need to “tear into it” to see what was broken and would then give an estimate.Little did we know that 3.25 hours of labor went in to pulling the hub assembly apart. It cost $318.50 just to get an estimate on the broken parts! I went to talk to Jeff in person and asked him if in the future he could give an estimate for the estimate, and he said he couldn’t do that because he wouldn’t know if for instance it might take “one hour or four hours” of labor. I asked him if he could tell people exactly that to give them an expected range, and Jeff replied that he was not willing to do so. We ended up boxing up the parts and taking them back home, $318.50 later.Altogether, we were looking at a total bill of $1700-1800 (including the 3.25hrs at the start), with about $800 of that coming from parts alone. I ended up ordering replacement parts online for a grand total of $187. Even with dealer markups, that difference is exorbitant.Bottom line, if you bring your tractor to Idaho Tractor, be sure to ask specifically how much it will cost just to look into an issue to provide an estimate for your repairs. Charging more than $300 for an estimate is a dishonest business practice, and we will not be going back.
Great place to buy a tractor. Bought my new 2301 for my small acreage farm and stuff. No tractors are inexpensive, but I thought the Curt the owner was great. extremely knowledgeable. helped me make the right choice for my budget. got the tractor ready on time, delivered as promised. Made the deal happen made sure I left happy. On my first 20 minutes working the loader came off, damaged the front of the tractor (it was my fault, i pulled the pin and didnt get it back in). I called curt panicked, he came out right then, get my loader back in place. and assessed the damage. the next work day he came got the tractor fixed the damage and got it back to me same day. I bought the insurance luckily and saved face with my wife. Thanks guys!
I had to talk to JEFF in the service department about an issue on a KUBOTA. he was a great listener and answered all my questions with the addition of a visual. I recommend them to EVERYONE I KNOW.
Caring owners and employees. Great service! We wont go anywhere else, they care about Farmers.
Great local family run dealership. I have purchased and rented numerous pieces of equipment throughout the past nearly 30 years Ive been in business. They have also serviced and repaired my equipment. I highly recommend them.
Very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to my new tractor.
I went in there two months ago to order parts. After not hearing from them for a month I go in to pick up the parts and the parts were not ordered so they reordered parts. I want back a few days ago and the parts still arnt there. So I leave, a few minutes later later a gentleman calls me back and says theyve reordered the parts on two day shipping and theyll be here in a couple days. I went in today and the parts are there and they are the right parts but now have to pay for the two-day shipping that they did before even before asking. so now I have to pay as much for the shipping as I do for the parts. So in summary I had to wait two months for parts pay twice as much for the parts and hire someone to mow my pasture because I was waiting two months for the parts.
Dave and Jane Thiel were very helpful. Buying a tractor through them was seamless. Very knowable, friendly and honest family. Will definitely buy from them again.
Always a great place to buy or rent our equipment.
These folks need extensive education and training in Customer Service. I notice 5 star reviews with no comments given by owners/staff. How tacky is that? Fortunately there are other dealers available (YAY)!
This review based on my experience with them over the last four years. A little pricey but friendly staff. Mechanics could use some training they couldn’t figure out how to split my kubota (which I’ve personally done without a problem) to replace the clutch. They ended up cutting the frame in half and welding it back together needless to say I wasn’t very happy. They replaced seals and gaskets that were leaking before it even left the shop which they tried but failed to remidy. Bottom line great parts store do the work yourself.
I just bought a Kubota skid steer here today... And we will never go anywhere else for our equipment needs! Everyone we worked with was personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. They worked with us to make it happen. It really makes a difference to buy from local, family-owned businesses. We will be back, and so should you!
Rented a skid steer from them. Price was great. Service was good.
The owner helped me. Really good service. Found exactly what I was looking for.
Never shopped at this location and never will! Was a concerned citizen when I noticed one of their drivers driving erratically and aggressive. When I called the company and spoke calmly to them about the situation that I was witness to they completely became aggressive with me as well as threatening to their driver. In quote “what do you want me to do sir cut his balls off and mail them to you. What’s your address?” Unbelievable I know but true. It was horrible representation of their companies higher ups. This is not how you talk to citizens or customers period. They proceeded to tell me to come on down and meet face to face which sounded threatening by their tone and demeanor. They also proceeded to insult my intelligence. Never shopped there and NEVER will and anyone who ask I will highly recommend they go somewhere else.
Great service!
Treat you really good and there products are top of the line.
By far the best experience I have ever had purchasing equipment. Very knowledgable, no pressure, and I left feeling confident in the machine and most importantly the staff at Idaho tractor!!
Great service. Great people. Reasonable prices
Nice hometown business. Great group of people.
Chris was great!
Great staff. Best value for your dollar in town
Honest and great sevice
Terrible customer service! Spent over $700 in a tractor rental for 2 1/2 days, and during that time got two flat tires. They wanted to charge us for fixing the flat! This put us behind in our job and cost me 6 hrs ! In all my rental history with rental companies Ive never had that happen! Idaho tractor sucks!!!!
Bought our new equipment here, wanting to support a small local company. Have had the WORST customer service. They refuse to pick up equipment that broke down with less than 200 hours on it, then refused to loan us a replacement unit while it was broken down.
Good people, lot of experience.
Most helpful men.
Best place in town
