My wife has already wrote yall a comment, but we have had a membership there for a couple years and never had any problems until the last 6 months, where the tire scrubbers on the passenger side has majorly chipped the paint off both fender flares at the front of them at the same exact height from the ground on both front and back. We have not took it through the wash in the last couple months for fear of more damage. Im not trying to be a problem, but Ive noticed that you guys are doing a remodel, Im assuming from the damage the wash been doing, because I have talked to a few other people who have gotten damage to their vehicle on the passenger side, consistent with the same height weve received our damage.

Damage to my car from the car wash. Over time. This did not happen within the last month. Yes I know you have been closed I figured you were fixing the issue since being closed for repair. Look my membership up you will see I have been a customer. If not in my name it’s in my husbands name.

Detricks is my favorite of all car washes! Ive been to all of the locations in the Myrtle Beach area and they are all fantastic but unfortunately, this location was my least favorite. I got the $18 package. The car wash seemed very fast compared to other Detricks locations. It worked well but there were still suds on my windows when it started the drying process. The dryer was not great so I had to use a shammy to finish the job. (They do offer drying towels for your convenience.) The free vacuum is AMAZING! Perfect for a sandy area like Myrtle Beach. There is also a mat washing station for floor mats.While this particular experience was not a perfect one, I will come back because my car will stay clean and my tires will shine for several DAYS whenever its washed at any and all Detricks locations. Check them out!

Great car wash! Has a entire area for vacuuming and they have carts with towels and cleaning products. Went through the car wash and my car spotless! Very pleased and will be coming back. Bit tricky to find the entrance as many stores have their own entrances right next to the car washes but it was easy to turn around

We had the worst possible experience. The carwash broke our glass covering our fog light. When I tried to tell the owner, he became quite belligerent and started screaming at me. I see on another review this happened to another woman. I had my car in the driveway before going to carwash so I know there was not any broken glass. Duetrick said it must have happened the mile I drove there. This man does not like women. When my husband came back Dietrick yelled and swore at us screaming to get out of his ioffice, a technique he seems to use iften. We reported him to the police as we felt threatened. We have already put this review on other sites warning people about Dietrick. We think he needs anger management classes. We will make it our mission to tell as many people as possible about our experience. Women beware!!

Owner tried to say I broke the car wash. Ive been thru the car wash hundreds of times. Will never go thru again. Worst service dont use this location//// your employee stopped me I put it in neutral until you detrick with little man syndrome came to to bang on my window. Obviously you have faulty equipment and dont want to fess up to it. And you try to get other people to pay. People stay away from this car wash

Great place to clean your vehicle. Detricks supplies everything you need to get your vehicle clean inside and out. For a $19.00 monthly membership charge you get a basic wash and shine. A $24.00 membership gets you a better deal with longer lasting hot wax and undercarriage wash. You can use the supplied window and dashboard cleaners with the towels that are available. And vacuum your vehicle. I think that covers everything you need to know. Highly recommend Detricks Premier Car Wash. I would give Detricks 5 stars if the floor mat cleaning machine wasnt out of oder so often.

A local car wash that does an excellent job getting your car clean. Employees spot soap need areas and get you settled to get into the pattern. This is no jets of water wash. You go though a fully automated touch was that pretty much guarantees a clean and dry car when you exit. The high end was is a bit expensive, but consistent with other washes where your car isnt as clean.

We love having the option to run through the carwash with our monthly pass. They offer the vacuums and cleaning supplies after youre washed. They also have a nice machine to wash your mats. They offer many locations and a nice perk when you have the monthly membership, free air freshners

Excellent car wash. Very disappointed when they removed the floor mat cleaners but the subscription service is a big perk of coming here. They have rags and sprays for interior cleaning and free vacuum... its a win win.

Do not waste your money on this place, they are the rudest. most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with at a business. They do not want your business they only want your money. Do not send your wife there as she will come home crying because they treated her so bad. If you have a problem and say anything they will scream at you and make you feel terrible. The owner, Detrick and his wife, dont deserve your business and I will never go there again or should you.

Did good job cleaning. A tad pricey. But I needed a quick wash. Last time I was there washes were $4 and up. Those days are definitely gone.

Car washes really do run the gamut, from horrible...(last month I paid $10 to go through a BP car wash and the back of my car was literally untouched - cmpletely still covered in grime)...to great. This car wash is excellent.Looks like they keep their brushes clean (to avoid scratching your car), plenty of cleaning fluid used (they even hand-spray your car as prep as you enter), etc. etc. Free vacuums, and they provide cloths and spray cleaner.Top notch. Not sure what it is in South Carolina but in California you get the same wash with full service hand dry for the same price. Pretty disappointing ive got to vacuum and dry the car myself and get no scent spray for the same 18 bucks but it seems people in SC like to pay more for this service cause this isnt out of the norm. Just an average auto wash.

As a previous owner of a small detail company I know the value of a good worker. I was super impressed with one of your employees Rob at the Golden Corral location. He asked me for the rag I dropped because it fell in car grease and he wanted to wash it separately as to not spoil the entire batch of rags. His attention to detail and knowledge of the business was awesome. Hold on to Rob and promote him. It is near impossible to find great employees in the detail world and you have one of them. In case you have several Robs working there this one had a New York accent.

The service was excellent and the price was a bargain. They have really great vacuum cleaners you can use afterwards as well.

Fantastic car wash! From scrubbing my car, to the wash, to the towels for drying, everything was great. I really like the mat washing machines! They were awesome at getting all of the dirt off.

Great car wash! If you live in the area I recommend you buy the monthly subscription. They also do veterans discounts for subscriptions. We live in the salty air and our cars do also so i suggest this to everyone its so easy to ride through in the mornings or later in the day. Sometimes busy from 12-4 but other than that perfect. I stop in once a week to keep my car shiny and the undercarriage happy! The employees are great also always hot a smile.

Quick but effective wash. Had trouble reaching all of my car with the vacuum so that was inconvenient. The staff was very friendly and kept themselves busy while remaining accessable. I will be back. Would love a break on the monthly price for locals though.

Id have to say that Detricks is about the best there is when it comes to automated car washes. It cleans, dries and seals your paint finish and cleans your wheels along with applying tire shine. Just be sure to clean the overspray off your rims. Free vacuuming and use of towels are included and the vacuums do a good job on carpets. Theres even a car mat cleaner on site that cleans with or without water. There is also glass cleaner for your windows. With packages to fit you budget, you can have a clean car every day of the week for a monthly charge. Well with the monthly purchase price. And you can visit any one of their 4 locations.

This place is an awesome place to get your vehicle washed. These guys scrubbed 2 weeks of mud off my car before the wash, and you should have seen it afterwards. Spent $15 and it was well worth it!

Confusing and inconvenient point of sale to enter car wash. It’s very similar to a bank ATM, except placed at the wrong height, too far from the car, and the menu is a PIA.Not having a real person to great you, and help you select a car wash option, is losing the owners a ton of money, through lack of suggestive selling.Went through the wash, and still had bug residue all over front, and backs of the outside mirrors. Took my concern to one of the workers that pre rinses the car, John. He told me I should have selected the bug prep option on the POS menu for $3. Sorry, I either didn’t see it, or didn’t know I needed it. Hanging out the window, door open, trying to reach the buttons, it’s easy toMiss the items on the menu. Total PIA for first time users especially.John was very helpful. I paid him the extra $3, they ran the car through again, this time scrubbing the front and backs of the mirrors pre wash. It came out fine.The after wash area is very convenient and well stocked with window and all purpose cleaner, and clean micro fiber rags. I didn’t need to use the vacuums provided in this area.Clean, well lit, and efficient car wash. Not as user friendly for new or first time users as it could be. My suggestion is get a real person to greet you, and teach them to suggest the proper wash and options from the menu. If they don’t repay their cost 10X’s over in increased sales, by suggestive selling, then you hired the wrong person. Start over.If I lived it he area, they have great prices on monthly, unlimited washes. They seem to focus here on selling monthly passes to individuals and businesses. Which is great revenue, but really low margin. If they combined that regular monthly revenue, with revenue gained by higher one time sales to visitors, they would improve profitability tremendously. A focused marketing effort on out of towers would be easy, and generate much better profits. 70% of people in Myrtle are short time visitors from out of state, that all arrive in filthy cars, especially during love bug season.

At that time, I told the owner to issue me a refund & cancel my monthly membership. The owner was so disrespectful. Being a business owner myself, both me & my husband I was shocked how he treated us. I will never do business with this establishment again. We have been customers since 2012 & referred many people to him. Owner needs to be re-trained in customer service.

This is the very very best car wash in Myrtle Beach. We always get the Managers $20 Special and then also get the 8 day re-wash for $10.00. Drying area is super as are the vacuums and soft drying towels. If your car 🚗 Van or truck is in need of some TLC this should be your place.

I was super-pleased with Detricks Car Wash.It was my first time going through an automated wash, and I was not disappointed. Opting for the $10, mid-range wash, I was pleasantly surprised to find my car looking like brand-new afterward, to a degree that Id never had at a do-it-yourself-style car wash. Plus, it was fast, easy, and reasonably priced, and the man who guided me in was attentive and patient as he told me what to do. On top of it all, the free vacuums and towels were top notch. $25 a month gets u unlimited washes each month. They even provide the rags and products to wipe down the inside of your vehicle including free vacuums.

For $24.99 a month, I get unlimited washes. Living near the beach, I take good advantage of this and wash my car at least 6 times a month. Includes free vacuuming, a mat cleaner and dry cloths with window cleaner and all purpose cleaner. Great place for a great price!

Staff was very helpful and up sales are very good. Purchased unlimited car wash for $14.99 for 1st month instead of $24.99.

No management on site when there is a problem. Most the staff appears to be retarded. Cant even answer the simplest questions. But most disturbing is a truck can no longer have anything in the bed what so ever. Including dirt. The main reason i go to this joke of a wash. Save yourself money and time, go else where. This one isnt worth the time i had to spend typing this review.

In Myrtle Beach on vacation and had to wash the bugs off the Z71. Best car wash for the money. Staff were very nice and attentive. Free vacuum, Windex and general purpose cleaner with micro fiber towels. Facility is clean and well maintained.

Car Wash was just passable. I got a mid-level wash. When I came out the other side and parked, there was still a lot of dirt on my vehicle. There were areas where the brush hadnt gotten anything at all, and you could see the brush lines in the dirt. It really didnt remove any of the bugs at all from the front of the vehicle or the windshield. It just knocked the loose part of the bugs off. I did have to wipe down the entire car myself, rather than let it dry. Once I did wipe it down, the chemicals obviously did their job, and it looked okay, minus the bug marks on the front of the vehicle which I did not feel like scrubbing off. But it was a lot of work. This is why I bring it to a car wash, so I dont have to do it.

Fair price.

My husband took his car to this wash and they tore his back bumper off of his car. We have had no problems with his bumper and they said that his mud flap was off center and this caused the wash to literally RIP his bumper in half. Also broke some of the tabs where the bumper should reattach. Refused to take responsibility and when he wanted a copy of the footage they refused but told him a manager would call him. We never got a call back.

I get the monthly package. I use my car for work. It is great. I can get a wash and even clean the inside. Free vaccum and cleaners

Wow! What an experience, the worst ever actually! I have never been treated this badly! I don’t know about this half bald guy with ray bans, if he is a manager or a dumb employee! That is not a way to treat a costumer. He gave me a hard time about a few leaves on the back of my truck, then forced me a refund and told me to leave!

This place is horrible. Had a membership. They billed me wrong. The carwash itself scratched my car in a few places. Always left watermarks. Turbo wash in Myrtle beach is so much better

Just left this car wash one that my entire family has used for years today is the LAST TIME I will use or attempt to use. My father who is a disabled double amputee has a wheelchair carrier on the back off his vehicle.. We were informed that the facility was not equipped to be able to wash his vehicle. Need to do better for our disabled. I will also be cancelling our families monthly membership. You will not get another dime of my money

The place was very busy but I got through quickly. One of the employees removed som^ magnetic items off of my car and held them for me until I got through the wash. Some of the other places have never done that for me.

Broke our antenna and could not get them to fix. Poor business!!!!!! Never saw such a sign! Each time we visited and phone conversations they said they were responsible and they would fix it. Never once did anyone of the employees, owner, or owners brother mention such a sign. Just, “Don’t worry we will fix it!” It wasn’t broken by the equipment, it was broken off by an employee. Best place to wash your car in Myrtle Beach! If youre low budget, $6 will wash & air dry. Then you drive up to one of the self serve detail stations. You can then use the vacuum, all purpose cleaner, window cleaner, rug beater, & rags at no extra charge!! How can you beat that?!? If you choose, theres several upgrades: lava wax, tire cleaner, etc. Im not very familiar with the upgrades because I only get the basic wash but there are at least 4 upgrades to choose from.
