We called to have them see what was wrong with my 84 year old father in laws ac/heater. They Never mentioned the $120 diagnostic fee. Gave us a quote of $600 to fix blower motor. Said could be cheaper if they find an after market motor. My husband told him to let him know what they find out. We NEVER heard from them. THEY went and fixed the blower motor with out talking to us then charged $895 plus the $120 so a total of $1015 for what they told us would be $600. We called to argue the price because no one discussed this with us before fixing the motor and the lady we to spoke to told us that she could charge us the $600 but if they do they will go and REMOVE the freon that they put in the ac. They would actually go and take out freon from an 84 year olds home instead of trying to make things right and admit they were in the wrong.

Had to have them come out on a Saturday and was told he might not be there until the morning. Less than 20 minutes later Carl showed up to work on our AC for us. Carl was very nice and fixed it within 30 minutes. We were very pleased with the whole interaction and will use them again if ever needed.

Had 2 different servicemen come out in two days. First guy didnt fix the problem. Had to have them back out in two days and was charged for both trips plus the freon the second guy put in. Paid in full but would not recommend

We have never used Hix before and were skeptical at first. We didn’t want to make a mistake by choosing the wrong team to fix a problem at our church. It was Hot and the AC not working at all the Sanctuary was around 90 when empty! I called several places, and no one seemed interested or they were just to busy. I stopped by Hix one day when I was in town on business, I spoke to Chris Daniels and he got to work getting me what I needed as afar as a quote and we were happy with the price and the timeline. At this point I was merely satisfied; on the day of the install I was beyond impressed! The technicians were amazingly detailed oriented, their knowledge and skill were above reproach. 100+ degrees outside all day and for 8 hours they remained professional and friendly. The Crew went the extra mile from a customer service standpoint. They didn’t just get it working again they addressed issues from the original installer. We will be using them again in the future. Highly recommended!

I have used Hix a/c for over 30 years. Their is no better. Honest, reasonably priced .

My AC stopped cooling. The first tech charged almost $500 for coolant that leaked from a bad line that wasn’t diagnosed correctly. The second technician couldn’t find the leak but suggested the entire line be replaced for $1500. A week later without air in the heat of summer the third technician found the leak outside my wall and still charged $969. I don’t know whether they’re practicing their rip off techniques or if their technicians are not properly trained. It shouldn’t have taken a week and the initial charge should have been waived for a job that wasn’t fixed.

Nothing but professional from 1st phone call to cleanup and final invoice. The Lennox furnace is extremely quiet. The little bit I learned about the technology during installation is quite impressive. The vents are quiet, and the air coming from them is very toasty. The warmth is evenly distributed throughout the entire house. I cant say enough about the entire experience, including my initial phone call, technical analysis of my problem, proposal, design & placement of the furnace, duct-work, vents, and air-conditioning unit. This was an extremely tricky and labor-intensive job; converting from a first-floor furnace & slab-encased duct-work to an attic-based system. Gary, the team leader was a master! His design layout and conversion recommendations were spot-on. His workmanship was superlative. His associates, Dave and Tim were equally top-notch; hard-working, courteous and pleasant. All three of these gentlemen were neat as a pin. This job could have been messy, but their tactics for collecting and abating debris in real-time were quite impressive. We literally had to do no clean up. Finally, all around the furnace are signs of a clean, intelligent and complete conversion; which speaks volumes of the training and hiring practices of local management.

I purchased my unit from Lowes and Hix was the installer. John Plunkett came with Larry from Lowes and quoted me 3 options. There was some minor miscommunication on the A.C. unit I was getting, but Gary, one of the installers explained everything to me. He was patient and detailed. Both Gary and David did an excellent job installing my LENNOX ACX14 A.C. AND my new EL180 furnace. I am happy with Hix and Lowes and would highly recommend both. The price was fair and John from Hix even have me a few free filters.
