Worst communication ever, I set an appointment for 4:30 did not get help till 5:00 and was inform that my phone would be ready at 6:00. I did not receive my phone till 6:20. I may be crazy but the whole purpose of setting an appointment is to get seen at the agreed upon time, and is they say it should be ready by this time then. They should hold them self accountable. Do better, not sure if I will be coming back
I was early to my appointment. I was told I couldn’t check in more than three minutes before my appointment. So I checked in two minutes before my appointment. I have now waited twenty minutes after my appointment and still no one has come to work with me. It seems I can’t be early because they run really late? At least basic customer service to check on me or tell me how long it will be isn’t asking too much.
My daughters phone just shut off on its own so we brought it to the apple store. The girls that helped that day were very nice and asked us to come back so a technician could look at it and find out what happened. We made an appointment for 3 days later. We showed up 20 minutes early for out appointment and were told to come back in 15 minutes. We did and checked in. That was 30 minutes ago and we are still waiting for someone to come talk to us. Thus store definitely needs better customer service.
Needed some tech support for my iPhone 11pro and the attendant was super nice and accommodating as he could be. There is a marked line and 2 temperature takers before anyone is allowed to enter the store. I appreciate the extreme efforts made to ensure customer and employee safety. Hopefully one day soon we will be able to enjoy going into the stores freely with out any worries.
Went to the Apple store to buy my wife a new Apple 6 watch for our anniversary. When we got to the store, they won’t let anyone in without an appointment. They asked me to “just hang out for 4 hours” I said i know exactly what i wanted. His response, “who do think is going to help you”? I suggested maybe he could. His response was “we have plenty of business and did not need yours”.My wife is really enjoying her new Garmin watch!!!
These are crazy times were living in. Everywhere we go its busy, businesses are short staffed. Peoples nerves are frazzled. There are shortages of nearly everything. Amidst all that and during a crowded Friday evening Genius Bar appointment, Bub checked on us several times while we waited and waited beyond our appointed time for a Genius Bar team member to help us. While helping two customers at once, us and another, Bub took matters in his own hands and resolved our Airpods quality issue by providing us replacements at no cost and sending us on our way. He was friendly, personalble and prosessional and great to work with. Thanks Bub and heres to your next trip to Europe! Hopefully you make it to Croatia.
Terrible customer service-did not care to help with our problems. I expected more from Apple when I walked in and bought $2,000 of product. They did not want to do anything more than ring us up and get us out. We needed help with the new products and were not advised or helped on anything. They said that management was only interested in how much money they sold. Did not help set up, didnt help with transferring data, were rude and acted like we were beneath them. May be returning and going with Samsung.
Ordered online and was able to pick up pretty quickly. The line moved fast, and the staff was super efficient. The woman who helped me was friendly and knew What she was doing, so no complaints at all. I was in and out in under five minutes despite showing up and hour earlier than the time Id booked (total fluke, I just happened to stop to check since I was done shopping earlier than anticipated). Great experience.
I was turned away at the door because I didnt have a reservation. I know the emblem has an apple on it, but when did Apple become a restaurant? And how is it good business practice to turn customers away with cash in their hands, literally having a bouncer at the door to throw her arms in front of me and say Hey hold up buddy! Im not your buddy! Im a customer who already knows what he wants and I am ready to buy! A reservation? For what? Do you assemble the computer in the back? And hello! Im not buying headphones or any other small accessory. I AM BUYING A COMPUTER FROM A COMPUTER STORE! You just turned away a sale for over $900!!! I thought the people that work there are called geniuses!Granted, Apple Computers will still make money when I buy the computer on Amazon instead, and God knows Apple doesnt value one customer any more than the Chinese worker that made the product in the sweatshop they assembled it, but Im still pretty sure you shouldnt be turning away a sale like that, should you? I dunno. Im not a genius, I guess...
Went to purchase a laptop and an iPad at this store and instead was met at the entrance by a masked bandit telling me I had to wear one too AND had to make an appointment to do business with them. Like Hell. I left the Apple store, went over to Best Buy and made a normal, human transaction with far more superior customer service and got myself a few goodies on the side for accessories for free because I spent some money. Best Buy it is from here on out.
Website clearly says “shop by walking in” but when you drive to the store they stop you and have to reserve an appointment hours later. Change your website if you can’t walk in.“Apple Fashion PlaceWe’re open and look forward to welcoming you. Shop by walking in, reserving a one-on-one session with a Specialist or buy online and pickup in store. Get support at the Genius Bar in store or by making a reservation”
Called ahead to make sure they were open on Friday. They were. Asked what I needed to do, they explained what I needed to do to get my phone ready for trade in and said they could help me on Friday. I showed up and was not let in without an appointment. Didn’t know I needed an appointment even after I had called in. Too bad the next appointment was 1.5 hours away. Very frustrating. “We’ve been doing this over a year now. Not everyone who answers the phones gives the right information.” Um...Ok.....?
So annoyed!!! My wife just wanted a nicer phone case than the one she already has and when we attempted to enter the Apple Store an employee stopped us. We were asked what we wanted to shop for - excuse me, it’s none of her business, and she almost denied us entry because it was by appointment only. Only after we told her that we wanted to buy a phone case that we were allowed to enter. After battling the gate keeper we could only find iPhone 12 cases and she has iPhone 11. Geez Apple!! what about the middle class. Sorry that I can’t afford the newest model, but at least stock a couple different model cases. Anyway, this store has definitely grown too big. Someone should remind them to be more humbler - like Steve.
As always, Apple delivers. I took my laptop in to get the cracked screen fixed and they did a great job. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff.
Purchased a iMac Big Sur 4k retina that has been the worst computer I have ever owned. My low rating is for the product is not how the store employees treated me. They were happy to take my money but the product they provided was below sub par. We have tried multiple times to resolve the slowness of the product with Apple and pretty much came to the conclusion that we purchased a lemon and there really is nothing that Apple can do about it. I only write this review to warn others.
Was here to get cracked screen fixed. Was already upset with Apple as the phone price reduced exponentially from $1k to $400 within 5 years but screen replacement still costed $169! Only reason I still preferred screen replacement was that it’s tiring to take back up of all my data on 256GB phone.Asked the associate if I have to take the lock off before giving the phone, he said that’s okay and no for everything. When I did not have my phone ready after promised one hour, went to the pick up queue and checked thrice within 5 minutes interval which is when person contacted team doing repairs. A person comes out and said that phone “might” have shorted while doing screen replacement!! And with do not care attitude asked me to go to City Creek to pick phone(which closes in another 45 min) or wait for 5 days so that they can get delivered!! It’s sad to see such an unprofessional service from a company who takes premium charges for everything.I went to city creek store to get a replacement phone, lost my data, was not provided any better alternative or deal to upgrade phone even when willing to pay little more.Upset since no one cared about customer anymore!
Things have changed at Apple during COVID. Wow. Not the same experience. Thank goodness they are still open and doing their very best to serve their clients. I had a hardware issue with my computer. It needs to be service. Kyle H. got the process going and on its way to being resolved. Thank you Apple for hiring and training great people. Thank you for being open during COVID and putting customers first. Much appreciated.
The coolest thing about going to the Apple Store is that you kinda get lost in this vast vortex of wonderful stuff to check out & the Apple learning aspect. I learned a lot about my iWatch & my new iPhone12 while I was there. The people at Apple in Fashion Place Mall are the Best! I needed assistance in changing my access codes to my Apple, Google & a few other Accts. Bc I’ve been dealing w/Hackers, it’s really not the funnest thing in the world. In fact it’s exhausting. The people at Apple were so helpful, patient, understanding & kind it was a relief. I felt like I found a life raft & could finally breathe again after my hour or more there. It almost felt like I was skipping on ⛅️clouds! My poor fibro brain can’t handle too much combat zone stuff (as needed w/hackers). I’m so grateful for the help I received at Apple! Thanks people! You were all wonderful!
You have to make an appointment to go here because of COVID. I took time off to go to the store and they turned me away because I didnt have an appointment. How was I supposed to know I needed to set something up? I feel pretty upset about it. I ended up making an appointment and coming another day and the service was fine. Just some really poor communication to customers about setting things up.
You must make a reservation in advance to purchase something. It was easy to sign up for another day. Dont bother coming to the store without setting up a reservation, even if you are just picking something up.
Layout of the store is stupid and theres a weird flow. The person helping me get my airpods told me the wrong price twice.
So the buying process was actually pretty difficult due to an unknown issue with the activation of the new phone I was buying. Basically stuck at the store for 6 hours Throughout 2 separate days. But The specialist who helped me out last week on Thursday Brianna, was really patient and did everything she could to help. Ended up having to go back Saturday and Had the store manager Dusti help me out with the same process. We both weren’t sure what was going on but it the activation finally went thru! Though the buying process was unpleasant and considering this was also my first apple product didn’t make it any better Dusti and Brianna definitely did an amazing Job in helping me out and stuck with me throughout the entire thing! Would definitely recommend this place. They will always try to have the best solutions to your problems
Going to the Apple retail store is a horrific experience. Good luck on submitting a reservation for multiple reasons. The personnel are so ‘impersonal’. They just don’t care about the customer. I wish I wasn’t tied in to multiple Apple products. Would leave in a heartbeat to a vendor that cares again about their customer. Where is Steve Jobs when you need him??
They were so caring and empathetic and waited for me to run and get a piece of paper from another store just to prove that the phone was mine so that they could replace it I love these guys they are wonderful
How do I get in line to get in and then once in knew exactly what I wanted to purchase and had to wait for somebody to come to me... Spent almost an hour just to get something that I didnt need any help with....
Staff at Apple was extraordinary friendly even without an appointment was able to browse and decide on a phone color which I then ordered online and picked up the next day using curbside pickup
I’ve talked to a lady the First Lady I talked to was nice understanding but the other lady was nice too but she wouldn’t even help me she just told me I can’t get apple care because mine expired 5 days ago and she can’t do anything about it so after I got off the phone with her I called city creek apple store and I’ve explained to the lady how my apple care expired 5 days ago and she told me it was fine and she able to help me get apple care on my phone instead of the lady I talked to at your guys story! She was nice but she failed on not trying to help me and just saying she can’t do anything about it but the First Lady I talked to from your guys store helped me out by telling me you could get apple care even after when it’s expired, I called again and the lady that answered said I can’t which was funny because now I got AppleCare thanks to the lady at city creek apple store
On Friday, the technician said my MacBook Pro screen repair would probably be done on Monday. So on Monday, I called the “forever on hold phone tree” system you guys have (because no one at the stores ever answer anymore), and they didn’t even have a record of the repair. Then customer service called the store and suddenly it was there. It was clear to me the technician just set it on a shelf somewhere and forgot about it and then frantically entered it in the system and said they’d have it done on the next day when I called customer support. In case someone from Apple actually reads these, here is my Repair ID: R502975051
Very accommodating hours. Always has a line
Alisha & the rest of the staff were super helpful and gave me very personalized attention despite the store being busy. Definitely will be back for more products in the near future!
They have great computers and laptops but but I do not recommend the phones.
Connor helped me out with getting the screen on my MacBook Air replaced, honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience he was honestly amazing!
Customer care told me to go in store for an accessory replacement. I made an appointment and was told by an insensitive employee Savanah and her manager David that there nothing they could do. I felt belittled and humiliated in front of many other customers. I called Apple care back and they apologized and are shipping me a case that could have been given to me in store. My experience is nothing like what I expect from Apple. I hope they get better training on how to be more customer focused and empathetic.
Ok, so happy to have an Apple store near me but much happier to have the best people in my store wow my daughter and I went very early to the store and from the beginning the Manager took notice of us and gave us en excellent service but I must also recognize in particular Beth she realy showed us that she was on top of the issues and really cared for our situation although there was technical complications with our devices and technician equipment Beth engaged with us each time she came by helping us understand the situation, we understand that we live in a world that is not perfect and will encounter situation along the way but that is exactly when a Person like Beth stands and just makes it so much better. Thanks Bethe and I give you and your team A 500 out of 10.
Had new phone for 4 days, randomly stopped working. Got appointment drove an hour, went in and they told me I would have to wait a couple hours to while it was going to be repaired and if that didn’t fix the problem they would replace it. The manager refused to replace it which would take 5 minutes instead I would have to wait and waste my work day. I’m starting to think android is sounding real good right now.
Showed up to purchase a computer. No entry without an appointment. I must be the only one that doesnt spend time on their website on a frequent basis and therefore missed the memo. Time for a different computer company that wants to earn business instead of assuming the world owes them their business.
Despite a bazillion employees it still takes a while to get human interaction & our person was either new or wasnt very informed of the laptop options/parameters
Went in had an appointment was sitting a lady arrived 20 minutes after us and got helped well before we did . Guess there is not much organization to this store and the order in which they help people
Ordered a Big Mac here- they were trying to charge over 1200$! Forget it, Wendy’s is much more trustworthy and not a SCAM!!!!!
Brandon was super helpful and found the best possible options for me! He was very informative and made my options super easy with the difficult situation I was in!!
They have a great setup of getting you in and out as efficiently as possible with minimal waiting. I was late 20 mins for my appointment to have my iPad Air (4th gen) looked at and in no time they had my iPad diagnosed and I go in to pick up the replace to in a few days. Very friendly people and makes a person feel welcome. The store was super clean and where ever I was looking, some employee was cleaning/disinfecting some surface or device. Thank you Apple.
Ordered my phone online and was given a 15 minute window to pick it up at the store. Didn’t receive confirmation email etc. Got to the store during the window I was given to pick it up and was told it wasn’t ready because they have long lines and I would get a text when it was ready - said nothing about that during the online purchase. What’s the point in the pickup window then? Why is there a line anyway? Just go into the back of the store and get the damn box. Why does the apple store have to overcomplicate buying a small routine piece of tech.
Ordered the new iphone 13 Pro Max and went to pick it up at my appointment. When I got there there were over 100 people in line with appointments. Apparently Apple does not understand what an appointment means. Left the mall and cancelled my order.
Came in on a freakishly busy day with an appointment and was finally seen about 25min after my scheduled time. But they were very kind and willing to help. My new computers fan was super loud and making a terrible clicking noise. They told me itd be a couple hours to fix, but did it for free and within an hour. Though it was super busy, they got me in and out when I returned within about 7min.
I live down in Orem and will ALWAYS drive up here to get my Apple fix. Whether it be new devices or warranty work, I will always come here. With covid the store front has changed and it’s one of the only apple stores that are still actually “open” which I appreciate! Which is why I’ll always come back.
Thinking of switching to iPhone just too see how it is! Seems like the 3 stars are just from a majority of people who didnt seem to call ahead or read on the website to see if they have to make a reservation even after a year plus of this going on
I called ahead and said I was interested in an iPad and was told to come in. I got there and the person I called took 10 minutes to come out even though I could see them sitting with two other employees doing nothing. I was then told they were mostly sold out of iPads and if I knew which one I wanted. I asked if I could see the different models and got a hesitant yes. The employee then took me to the display models and stood there offering no help while I looked at them. I have changed my mind and will not be purchasing an iPad at all.
Even with an appointment the wait was long. Man, I hate everything about Apple.
Sean is so great! Helped us with all our questions.
About an 1 hour on the phone to try and make an appointment. Thus far still on hold waiting. Your phone support states I quote No one answers the phone there. How am I suppose get support for a warrantied product if I can not make an appointment at all... This is highly unprofessional and shows you do not honor your warranties at all.Just need software fix for disconnect on your silly T2 security chip so I can.1. update to Catalina2. Get my touch sensor working.3.May trade in all my apple products and move back to windows os and Android due to lack of support from you guys on a warrantied product.Fyi still waiting.
Very efficient. Friendly customer service.
We scheduled an appt for this store through apple care. We showed up and we had no appt. The girl working was very helpful and did get us in. My sons brand new iPhone 12 was not working properly within a month of getting it. The camera and flashlight didn’t work at all. They were unable to fix so said they replaced with a brand new phone. Got home and setup the phone. Surprise the camera still doesn’t work. Not sure if they gave us back the old phone or a refurbished phone that doesn’t work but either way I’m still stuck with a phone that doesn’t work and have had it for 2 months.
This is the most horrific store I’ve been to in my life. The expensive iPhone I own has a software issue that’s not fixable according to some extensive 35 minute long videos on YouTube. Very well done videos with websites to look up your IMEI numbers and model numbers ect... The three model numbers that have the software problem that’s not repairable nothing to be done to fix it. I have the phone stuck on a screen that Will not move.I did extensive study on the product the phone I have, the iPhone 7 that is stuck and says Update needed to activate. Not only would the manager not back the product. The manager of the store would not service or allow me to have them send my phone in for repair at that location for repair. He absolutely refused to send it In to Apple to be repaired at my expense. This research I did online is the reason is it’s not repairable it’s a software issue. After I left to call the supervisors at Apple I remembered I need the managers name. The security Guard that works for the Apple store while at first when I had my appointment was polite, refused to give me the managers name so I could use it in my complaint when I was calling to complain at the Apple headquarters. I did spend 30 to 45 minutes on the phone complaining with Apple on the phone about this experience at the Murray location in Utah I must say that the people I spoke to on the phone the first lady and her supervisor were very polite very efficient and nice. They did agree that the manager and the security guard were out of line and hopefully will lose their jobs over this matter because this is not acceptable behavior. I was considering upgrading, as I have three Apple phones for my business. I am now going to sell these worthless products online.I must say I do feel guilty pushing these products on to someone else but there are people that don’t know or are going to just want iPhone and so be it. I am switching back to android. The only reason I got an apple iPhone in the beginning is because it works with my hearing aids I bought at Costco. If you are considering buying an iPhone or upgrading I warn you these people do not back their products. They make excuses for software problems trying to say oh your phone was damaged or banged and then they tried to say it was bent. Every excuse in the book not to back their product. I even feel guilty selling these pieces of junk online. Another warning, after you put your credit card on there because you keep getting these warnings that you’re out of iCloud space. It is extremely hard to get your credit card information off of your credit card, so they can’t keep taking money from your card. In my opinion extremely easy to put your credit card information on there extremely hard to get it off of there. In my opinion, Apple is a scam don’t buy this product it’s a money pit. Well I did get a case number I do think I will get some correspondence but they did let me know that Apple will not back this product even though and I believe it the software issues are not fixable 100% their fault and every excuse in the book not to back their product. I hope this review saves some of you people from losing your money like I did! Apple and IPhone, in my opinion you suck!!!!!!!!! Oh and by the way check all my other reviews they’re all five stars I’m not a complainer, this is real my friends!!!!
All find what I need
Just took my broken Apple case back and they replaced it at no cost. I’ve had multiple experiences like this. Sure you pay a premium for their products but I’m happy to with the great service they provide. You may not know this, but they teach flosses regularly on coding, music production, art etc. it’s not your typical retail experience.
Excellent service, very clean and friendly...Edgar was amazing in his knowledge.
After driving an hour to get there, we were turned away on my wifes birthday to purchase an Apple watch because we didnt have an appointment. The employee at the door was more interested in enforcing the rules despite the store looking quite empty. They clearly didnt care at all. We drove home empty handed but I guess thats what Apple wanted our experience to be.....because they know best.
The staff that works at this apple store! They are uneducated and ill-mannered and uneducated to serve the public! Shaun is one of the customer service people outside the store! I do not understand how badly educated and rude people work in this prestigious company !!! very frowned upon and they must educate their staff
No help what ever just do the warranty thats why I paid for it
Since when did you have to make an appointment to SHOP? Genus bar, I totally get that but cmon! San Diego Apple stores don’t do that. Ridiculous.
Did reall go in but to walk around and look but nice staff
When they closed because of their reaction to covid, and I couldnt get my work computer fixed for 5 weeks because they over loaded SimplyMac with all their customers, I vowed to never buy from them again, and I havent since, dont plan on it ever again 👌 good work guys.
Excellent customer service
I was really impressed with the number of apple employees and the diversity of the people who were employed there. Tall, short, dwarf, fat, skinny, male, female, skater, rocker, geek, jock, old, college, middle aged, Asian, Black, Indian, White, Latino etc.I was also impressed that about half of the floor space was dedicated to basically one on one help sessions for customers.I had a youth group of girl scouts there learning about the clips app. The girls had a great time. The employees took a group pic with them and air dropped our pics and projects to us.Great afternoon!
Would give a zero star if I could. Walked in to spend at least $2000 and they won’t take a sale because of Covid-19 even though there are 4 people standing at the registers doing nothing and more people in the back just standing around. Guess I will be taking my business else where.
I saw this store once and it looked pretty regular.
Employees are awesome and helpfulThank you
Great process to get in for our appointment. The employee who helped us, Conner, was very knowledgeable and didnt push us to the most expensive product but rather the one that suited us most
They always rush you weather or not you have an appointment or walk in they are only happy when you buy a new device
We had a hard time getting someone to help us set up out new computer. We were told we did not need an appointment to do it. We kinda wish we did have one as it took 20 minutes to get someone to help us. It took 3 people do help us set up our computer as we kept getting handed off to someone else. When we finally got to the last person she was fantastic (I wish I could remember here name) I will go back and get it and praise her as she deserves it.
Great service, great covid protocols.
It was a nice store. I didnt get to go in because my facemask wasnt hip enough to be down when the groove, or they required pants or something. But it seemed really cool.
Super impressed by the attentive, friendly service of the apple employees at this location. They were not only knowledgeable on the products, but their interactions were super natural and not intrusive on the shopping experience. If they didnt know an answer, they got someone, or said you know what, lets look it up. I appreciate the friendly, honest service.
The Apple store is like going into a candy store for geeks like my daughter and her boyfriend. I must admit to my addiction as well. Enjoy!
My son and I just left the place. His phone is destroyed and we were looking for a solution. Wait time was more than reasonable. Dallas was our guy and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable on their products as he should be. Quick and easy.
Couldn’t get in to replace my phone for I didn’t have an appointment. After years of using an IPhone it’s as disappointing as ever.
Nobody seems able to set an appointment when the store is on an appointment only schedule even though I was told they are doing walk in. I was so displeased I switched to an android provider the same day I visited the store best decision in a long time. Apple provides subpar products at premium prices. Plus has horrible customer service. Avoid this brand thanks for for years of money wasted.
Why even bother to say anything about this place
Good knowledge people. Always busy, so make sure to schedule appointment before you go, if you need help with anything else but purchase. And plan more time to spend there. Repairs take time
Worst experience from all stores I have been to.
I went in to talk to someone about multiple problems I had with my older phone. I have a 6s and I have been forced to take phone calls on speaker phone because my ear speaker wouldnt work. My phone was also locked by a carrier that I couldnt identify. When I tried calling Apple customer service and multiple carriers to fix the problem previous to going into the store I was told by multiple people that they couldnt help me. When my mom and I went in, the store was very busy due to fall break. Luckily we ran into Alec. He listened intently to my problems and was easily able to identify which carrier had my phone SIM locked. He also cleaned out my speaker and now it works great! At the time, I was also interested in upgrading to either the new 11 or 8 Plus and Alec clearly explained what deals they had going right then and what he recommended. They offered me some trade value for my 6s. I was interested in coming back the next day but didnt get the chance. My frustration went from high to low after interacting with your kind team member, Alec. Thank you so much for helping me when no one else that I had talked to over the phone was willing to figure it out with me!
It was very well staffed and efficient. I went on a very busy day and was able to speak with someone immediately upon arrival.Only docked a star because its hard to find in the mall if you dont know where to look.
I would trade in my beloved iPhone 12 Pro to never have to step foot in an Apple store againTLDR: The security people at the door would not allow me to enter the Apple store for technical support despite having purchased a new phone the day earlier. I was turned away with no functional phone. After picking up my iPhone on Saturday the 24th, I ecstatically unboxed the new phone and began the set up process. Things went smoothly (despite the hour long Android to IOS move) up until I set up my Apple ID on the new device. Saturday evening at about 8:00 PM, I began this process and the screen stayed at something along the lines of “we are setting up your Apple ID, this may take a few minutes…” so I left my phone be and checked up on it a few times before leaving it running on this screen overnight. The next morning this was still running so I restarted the phone and redid my Android to IOS (another hour or so) and then it got stuck on the same screen. Several hours later, I restarted again, this time without the transfer from Android to IOS but this did not work either. Since the City Creek Apple 1 block away was closed on Sundays, I had to drive down 20 minutes to Fashion Place. At the door were 3 security personnel (non-Apple employees) who informed me that I had to make an appointment, scan the QR code for support, or call support. I informed them that this, however, was not possible as I have already activated my phone so my old phone cannot do any of this and since I am stuck on the set up, I cannot actually do anything with the new phone. Furthermore, if I were to go back home and set up an appointment on the computer I would be wasting about another hour of driving back and forth. They still refused to let me in despite the relative emptiness of the store and the visible availability of employees. In previous days (at least at city creek, the two days I had been there) I witnessed walk-ins come by for support with their phones but the security detail said Apple policy had changed this weekend. The only solution offered by one security person was “Have you tried turning it off and on again”.Being a relatively tech savvy person I was eventually able to figure out that I could just skip the step of setting up Apple ID through my settings. But imagine if I picked up this phone on a Sunday and needed it for work on Monday or if I was a person who wasn’t able to figure this out and was stuck without a functional phone until I was able to get some help.
I will not go into how high maintenance i was as Im not an avid apple user. I will tell you how ALLY is an amazing person first and foremost and certainly must be their top employee second. She helped solve all my needs even when i had difficulty describing them. She went out of her way helping me even with a non apple pc that my library was on. She exemplifies service, does it with grace, and an excellent attitude. She has my business moving forward. If you read these, t thank you Ally. Helped me to have a great day! I may now, (with your helpful tips in our discussion), become an apple guy.. You deserve a raise. If Undercover Boss could only encounter you...
Really hard to schedule a pick ip
Made an appointment for 11:30 and the time is 12:06 and still waiting in line
I had to get an emergency laptop replacement in the middle of a project AND in the middle of this pandemic and they were so so helpful. I super recommend them every single employee went out of their way to help things be quick and easy.
Employees closed early tonight and wouldn’t let us pick up our iphone 12 right before they closed. drove up from orem to snag it but they didn’t care.
This Apple Store is doing a good job of reopening during the pandemic. The lines were long yesterday (a Saturday), but I made a Genius Bar appointment online a few days before and only had to wait about 5 minutes to get into the store and another 10 minutes to see an expert about my MacBook Pro. They did have someone doing temperature checks outside and asked if I had any COVID symptoms before I could enter the store. They also require everyone to wear masks in the store, but they provide them if you dont have one. Inside the store, they were practicing social distancing and they had someone cleaning each table after people left. All of the staff were wearing masks and they were using gloves to touch your devices. They were able to resolve my issue and the manager was helpful, thank you for the help and for keeping your customers safe during this challenging time.
Great place. Came here to get my mom a new phone and the staff were really helpful. They showed us how to transfer the data, and how to use the new phone. And they had a ton of displays that were fun to use. We were able to compare prices on the phone and how much were save with a trade in.
