I have been with Melissa for 12 years. My premiums increased gradually over that time. I got several quotes from other reputable agents that were less than half of what I was paying. I decided to move my autos to another company, but the automatic payment was still taken out of my account. We called and were informed that they would pro rate what we owed and send us a refund check. We received a small check that didn’t make sense to us so I called and asked for explanation and for a breakdown of why we got such a small refund. We did not receive what we asked for and she could not answer simple questions about my bill. I expressed my frustration that I have been a loyal customer with no auto claims and that I felt she could have done more to look out for my interests. She stated that she could not have done anything else for me. After that conversation they would not answer my call or return my messages. I finally called from my wife’s phone, right after calling from mine, and she answered right away. She could not answer any questions and said she would have to order a breakdown from State Farm and send it to me. This was going to take a couple days! I again expressed my frustration with the situation and she told me that she is not the agent for me. Then she tells me and just so I don’t get another phone call they are raising my home premium $600 a year because I canceled my autos. If you choose Melissa to be your agent PLEASE get quotes every year, and pray you never need any customer service.

Melissa and her employees are the greatest people. They are always so helpful, and they do their best to get you the best rate and coverage. They are honest and forthright and no other insurance company has even come close to the rate/coverage we have received over the years. Members of my family have had insurance with Melissa for over a decade, back when her office was near 5300 S & 700 W. I absolutely adore her and I never hesitate to mention that she takes great care of us anytime anyone tries to sell me insurance. Whenever I need to call in they are friendly and helpful, right now she has a knowledgeable employee named Emily that helped me right away.

We have been State Farm customers for years, always had a great experience with awesome customer service. Moved to Utah and has been a nightmare since day 1. Reasons below:-When first establishing with this office, we received 3 statements in 9 days, each one with errors that had to be fixed-Our statements have fluctuated by ~$30 per month which makes zero sense (at most could fluctuate maayyybe a few dollars)-Took 8 weeks and 5 phone calls from my wife to this office to transfer our policies to Utah-Asked at least a half dozen times to add my name to my wifes car (you know, the one I drive all the time because we are like, married) and as of March 2017 my name is STILL not on my wifes car-Not a single time was there an offer to come into the office to go over everything-Not once did we receive an apology for the horribl serviceWe have since changed to a new agent who is helping us by sending all of our statements to their billing department to review all the errors.If you want a great State Farm agent, you should look elsewhere.
Went in for a quote, got their insurance but once my first bill came...BOOM! Way way off their quote, didn’t notify me on any changes just got a bill almost 2 times the quote they first gave me. Went in to see if they can work something out and zero effort
