!! Watch what you buy from Music World. I purchased a used Fender Stratocaster for $195.00 plus a small Vox amp for about $100.00. I wasn’t digging the used feel after 24 HOURS!! so I asked could I bring it back and just buy a BRAND NEW guitar. The guy said yes so I went home and came back with the guitar to trade out. He literally told me he could only do $100 of store credit for a the swap even though I was just in the store day before. Suggested I try Craigslist instead. I won’t be returning.

When we got home (2hr drive), I realized I had forgot a clamp that was in the set Id payed for. I called back to ask them to hold onto it. Riley was already trying to contact me. He said he would have it mailed out ASAP, IT SHOWED UP THE NEXT DAY. He even threw a nice set of sticks in the package :)They went above and beyond from answering all my questions during the sale to really taking care of a customer even after the sale. THANK YOUImpressive service from people who care, unlike a chain store i had just walked out of a hour earlier. Definitely worth the drive past Nashville.

My children take music lessons there from Tom and Riley. We love them! The whole staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of instruments and are very knowledgeable. I cant recommend this place enough!

I highly recommend Music World and Drummers Den. My oldest son started taking guitar lessons five months ago and the results are phenomenal. He is farther advanced than I ever could have imagined at this point. My youngest son would go and hang out while his brother had his lessons and has since started with drum lessons as well. He has just started but he is making good progress. The staff has been nothing but welcoming, and nurturing to my two sons. Whether its been lessons, buying a guitar or whatever my kids have needed they have been more than accommodating to our needs. So very thankful for Music World. For a parent that knows nothing about music and kids that want to learn to play. This place has been a blessing.

Without a doubt one of the best music stores in the boro area. These guys go above and beyond. As a kid this was my hometown music store and was never shyed away from jamming out whether I could buy something or not. They were always respectful, knowledgeable, and fair priced. I took my dean noir acoustic guitar to be repaired there and had forgotten about it. After 3 years I came back to the store to find they still had it in case I ever came back. I wouldnt recommend doing this as its kind of a wack move on my part. I was none the less incredibly appreciative of the fact they held onto it so long and when I got it actually repaired it was beautiful. Dan does amazing work. Hes fixed several of my guitars and its always reasonably priced and well done. I also bought an amazing six peice gretsch catalina birch drum set for $550 and im incredibly pleased with the kit. I even had dave and Riley redo the drum heads since it was used and they were pretty rough heads. And they did a tremendous job doing that as well. If youre looking for any instrument I strongly suggest coming to the drummers den music world.

Absolutely wonderful place to take you children for lessons! All these oost about children are absolutely false and most of the reviews are people who havent taken there children there for lessons.

As a learning drummer and guitarist the prices are pretty reasonable, and as for all of the one star reviews, it is completely ridiculous to base a review on another persons account of an event. Instead, you should make a review based on your own experience in the store and not off of a one sided story

I have no first-hand experience with this place, but I feel the need to leave a review anyways as so many others did 9 months ago in a clear vendetta against the business.So I heard from someone I know that his son really enjoyed his lessons here.In case you are wondering, I am not affiliated with either party. Went to check out and pay for my strings. The clerk first commented “these are strings I use and you are buying me out of them”. I shrug.Then he quotes the price and suggests that I throw in a tip for him.I told him no.After paying I waited for him to say thank you but it never came.I reminded him to thank me and he said no because I didn’t “tip him”. I got a refund. Rude behavior by a wise guy. I won’t be shopping there anymore.

I took my 12 year old son here for guitar lessons. I prepaid for a month of lessons. Once per week, 30 minutes. On the third lesson, he told my son he was pathetic. He then proceeded to belittle him. Then the teacher came out angry that my son had practiced to his expectations. My son came out crying.The teacher and I had words outside where he again said my sons progress was pathetic. Then the owner told me to not come back!Thats how they treat kids/beginners here!

Wow! Great way to support young kids! Just chastise them and make them feel worthless! Hope the word spreads about your treatment and you go under. Maybe then you will learn something like consequences for your actions and responsibility.

This small music shop is cool and has a crapton of drums

I wish I did not even have to give this place one star. Verbal abuse on innocent children trying to learn is unacceptable here in Rutherford County. This place should shut down immediately.

Called to see if they had a Roc N Soc drum throne. He said they had a few at $189.00 and $229.00. When I got there all they had was used ones that looked like they had been on tour for 10yrs or more. The seat leather was cracked all over and the seat had several rips in it.When I said new they are $179.00 he offered to discount it $40...haha. So a worn out throne for $149...nope I’ll just order one and get it brand new.The only bad part was I had drove 50 miles there just to find out it was not a new product just a wore out POS, and not only that the guy working was a compete jerk.I like shopping at local stores, but now understand I need to stick with large retailers for quality products!Thanks for wasting my time, with old used products and employees with attitudes I predict this store won’t stay open long!!!
