Best music supply store in town. They offer affordable rentals, lessons, and even allow you try out gear and help find what youre looking for.I stop here to play from time to time since Im moving and separated from some of my gear, and Ive also been the casual shopper just walking in to buy new strings.I cant think of a single negative experience Ive had with any of the employees, theyre all fun, genuine people who have a passion for music and it creates the best atmosphere.
VERY GOOD STAFF .OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND VERY FRIENDLY WITH AN OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. PRICES ARE VERY FAIR. WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP THERE. RECOMMEND A PLUS....
Went in for guitar strings and they have lots of options at fair prices
Never felt so speechless or treated poorly, after getting told my bass was at some point stolen, when it is a factory second. Two minutes of inspecting the guitar, and seeing the used stamp along with the serial number file off can tell you its a factory second. The response to this is part of the problem, the serial number filed off is a common practice for factory seconds. Two minutes on Google will tell you the same thing. The owners ego is too massive to admit they are wrong here.
Ive taken drum lessons for around 6 years there and took a few Gutair lessons this past year .Their teachers there are so good and everyone is really helpful. If youre looking for lessons or even just an instrument /something for your instrument this is the place to go and everyone is really helpful !
Excellent store and staff. They have an awesome selection of instruments, accessories, and amplification equipment. We are always made to feel welcome even when just browsing.
Brought in an old banjuke that needed a some love and Scott did a great job getting me started with my little fixer-upper piece. Very nice people and great prices! :)
Super friendly local music store. Great prices and knowledgeable.
Sarah was amazing! She helped me pick out a guitar for my little boy (I know NOTHING about guitars btw). She was full of helpful information, suggesting books and letting us know the shop offers guitars lessons for all age levels in multiple genres.
Walked in and bought my first amp, cable, and straps yesterday. Had a great experience. Employee was very nice and helpful . I believe his name was Phillip. Or something like that. I will definitely be coming back next time I need gear.
Bought a Martin guitar a few months back. I have thoroughly enjoyed every second of playing it. However, what really stood out to me was a phone call that I received this evening. Sean reached out just to see how satisfied I was with the guitar, asked for feedback, and even sent me a promotion for a discount on some new strings. Really impressed with Sean. Great guitars, great staff. Definitely recommend!
Superb service backed by expertise and smiles!
Everyone is always super nice and helpful. And they have a great selection of instruments to choose from. Great place, and why not support a local business rather than a guitar center.
These guys are awesome. Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with explaining the difference in instrument features. Much better than the big box stores that make u feel like a number. I have purchased several instruments over the last couple years. Its also a great place to just go and try out new stuff.
My favorite music shop Ive been to in Murfreesboro so far, in general. They have a wide range of products that vary from accessories to drum heads to full instruments to equipment to pro sound.
Brought in my sg to get set up. Received it and it was not right. Strings buzzed after fret 14 and intonation was way off. Paid $60. Bringing it back for either refund or correction. 1st time there. Not very impressed. Nice folks, maybe just not good guitar techs.
Great place for you musical needs and repairs.
Always done me right. Cool people and do a great job.
Local feel but quality lessons, instruments and staff
Love my Taylor I purchased from you on the suggestion from your sales person that I try it out. Great guitar. Will be back for my next amp purchase coming soon.Chris HodgesBlue Crossroads
Sold at clarinet that I got out of a vault rental unit and these people are great very friendly professional and knowledgeable I would highly recommend them for any of your musical needs and any form or fashion
I love this place...people are super nice and I started taking piano lessons..Chris is awesome and nice....looking forward to taking more lessons
A small selection of guitar pedals, but more than most.
The staff here, in particular Jerry (I think was his name) were extremely helpful, patient and friendly. I am a bit indecisive and had to return to the store 3 times in 3 days before finally making a decision about which guitar to purchase. Each time I came in I was treated respectfully, and the staff allowed me to ask as many questions as I possibly wanted without ever getting frustrated or making me feel dumb about not knowing what I was looking for in a guitar. When I did finally decide on a guitar I left the store feeling confident that I had found the best choice for myself and my skill level. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.
Superb Music Store, I recieved the best service finding my requirements of a new high quality Microphone and accessories with the assistance from their knowledgable staff members. Thanks for a welcoming experience. Answered my questions at ease and solved my sound issues quickly.
Great place staff is super friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
Always great service from some very talented people.
Best music store in Murfreesboro, TN! Friendly atmosphere - great layout. Ive been stopping by for years to talk gear - always a good time.
Very helpful and have a tremendous selection of guitar, bass and drum instruments/accessories. Will travel back up to smyrna again to look at the shop.
Just a great place and the employees are the best.
We stopped in tonight on a whim to get a new bow for my violin. My 6 year old son was really interested in a drum set and Shania came over to show him how to use it. She was very patient and friendly, and showed him lots of different things. She interacted with him like he was a human and not like he was just some annoying little kid that wanted to beat on drums. We really appreciated her kindness and patience, and will definitely be back!
Concert Musical Supply is a great music store. I had a Fender Mustang 3 amp that had a bad master volume. When I went to Concert Musical Supply to get it fixed. I got a call a day later and was told that Concert Musical Supply wasn’t able to fix the master volume, do to the part that wasn’t replaceable for the Fender Mustang 3. So,what they did for me, they called Fender to see what can be done to get my Mustang 3 amp fixed. To make a long story short, I purchased my amp in 2015 and was able to get a brand new and upgraded Fender Mustang amp that Fender delivered with no cost to me. I was very happy about that. Concert Musical Supply went above and beyond to help me with my amp. Customer service is 10 out of 10.
Great store.
Just a awesome place visited when looking for musical instruments.
What a wonderful place to do business, Scott the guitar tech was an absolute pleasure to talk to about buying a new electric guitar, and Ken was so pleasent in store and over email. Will be returning to support my local music store. Felt comfortable even though I didnt really know more than the basics of a guitar. Check them out on Reverb before you go, you can see some of their used inventory their! Awesome Selection, more than fair prices.
I stopped in this Sat the Dec the 28th 2019. I spoke with Mr Ken Murray. The customer service was top notch along with the whole experience its self. I came in with my family looking for a Trumpet for my daughter. I did not buy from them but I guarantee when she starts looking for a college horn this will be my first stop!
I stopped by Concert Musical supply during the quarantine, which of course their store front was closed much like other businesses, but they were offering curb side pickup. I had a missing tuner and a couple of broken strings on my sons old guitar and had no idea how to fix it. Even though they weren’t running “ business as usual” and they didn’t have a set of tuners in stock, Scott graciously took my guitar and replaced the missing tuner with a spare he had on hand. It wasn’t an exact match, but he made it work until we could order a new set and have it shipped to the store. He also fixed the two broken strings so it is playable until we replace all the strings with the tuners and only charged me for the capo I purchased. THIS is how repeat customers are created! So grateful that M’boro has wonderful, locally owned businesses like this serving the community. Thank you!!
Best music store in the Boro! The staff are fantastic.
Bought a used guitar and amp here a while back. The staff was really good with working with me on the amount I wanted to spend and really spent time showing me different options they had. This is the main place i go to buy new strings and picks as well as just to browse. I have never seen a face here that wasnt friendly
Good selection of gear and the Fender tech does excellent work.
Staff was great, I came in to look at available telecasters. They showed me all the options they had and what they could get if not in stock. No pressure sales, and didnt try to upsale me any useless stuff. Took home a beautiful classic vibe telecaster and very happy with my purchase. Very professional, highly recommended!
I just love walking into this store and almost always hearing live music, be it music lessons of students of different ages or just jamming by 3 drummers like yesterdays visit. Gotta love a store where music lives. Great friendly service also.
Very helpful, great customer service. they have great prices.
They are very kind here. My young son was encouraged to try out the instruments, rather than told to not touch them like other places may have said. Also, this store is way bigger than I expected. Very cool!
Ive bought a couple of instruments and other accessories from them. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are very comparable to the local competition as well as the big box music stores. Concert Productions is the only music store I buy from in my local area.🎸🎸🎸
Very helpful and knowledgable with a wide variety of instruments and repairs. Very friendly staff!
Staff were exceptional in helping my daughter with her questions as she looks to move to an intermediate fiddle. Not pushy and gave her ample time to try it out. Very helpful in answering her questions and helping her to hone in on the right one for her.
Best music store in town we have. Wonderful people work here always everything so nice and neat in the store. I bought couple things here before and the customer service is great. If you are looking to buy music some where this is the place to buy it at.
The folks that work here have been as nice as can be every time I have gone in this shop. It is very clean and well organized, unlike some of the other local shops. They are always happy to let you try out instruments. I would recommend this store to anyone.
Good gear and great people. Glad to have a nice local store since so few remain.
This place is top notch! You can tell that they are interested not just in sales, but in gaining repeat customers. They have a little bit of EVERYTHING in their store- horns, bow instruments, keys, percussion, walls of guitars/basses and all kinds of accessories. They have things in their store at all kinds of price points- something for everyone. I have been in there more than once now with questions and each time they have gone above and beyond to educate me and let me try things out before making a purchase. Finally, my dad left his best guitar(that hes had for almost 40 years) with them to have it adjusted and checked out and they not only returned it quickly, but they also did an excellent job at a reasonable price. My family is a music playing family and THIS is our new favorite shop!
Really enjoyed looking around the shop, very nice place with plenty of items to pick and choose from.
I’ve been in this store several times over the last couple of years to buy guitars, amplifiers and have my guitars serviced. I’ve had pleasant and productive interactions every time I’ve been in. Customer service is appropriate and the service to my instruments has been adequate. I would generally recommend this store to fellow musicians.
My experience was not great. The staff seemed uninterested and worn out. Definitely need some customer service skills and consideration as well.
We had a great experience when we traded in our old Kramer F-3000, that needs quite a bit of TLC, for a new 7 string Jackson. We brought them our business after having had a great experience buying another guitar a couple of years ago.
If you need anything musical they have it here even Gibson guitars now
This is the best music shop in murfreesboro by far. they have a good variety of instruments and good prices for the instruments that they do have, wither used or new. I bought my current guitar from here and the salesman even delivered it to my house in Shelbyville because i couldnt carry it on my motorcycle lol, just goes to show they really go that extra mile....or 40, to make a customer happy and to see a sale through.
Awesome store. Nice to meet you Steve. Great job.
The guys in the back of always been very helpful. Weve used them for many odds and ends over the years. Definitely a good spot to check when looking for gear
Went for guitar strings, ended up buying more and playing through a few amplifiers, nice places to go if you are trying to avoid going to Brentwood, etc.
If you are looking for an instrument, or lessons this is the place to go. This place has great service, and it is locally owned, so you will be supporting the community. This also adds to the homely amd lively feel that you just cant get at a retail store.
Everybody here is very friendly, always willing to give you the most reasonable deal, and are all very knowledgeable. Ive bought tons of gear here and they know me name now, these are the folks that will always get you the best equipment for your money.
I brought in an assortment of stands, mic stands, one or two mics that belong to my husband to sell. When the asked what we’d like for it I asked him to make his best offer and instead he berated me, a nine month pregnant woman, for wasting his time. I’m honestly speechless, I’m not sure what I did to deserve being so disrespected. Owners general deminor was condescending during the entire exchange. I wouldn’t ever want anyone to have this experience.
These guys have always been really helpful and nice. Ill miss this place.
I know the owner John Richards when he first began Concert Productions on West Main Street at the railroad tracks with retail in the front and rehearsal rooms in the back. Theyve reconed speakers for me and bought my used equipment that I wanted to sell.
Good friendly staff that are very helpful and they have a great selection of instruments and gear.
Small music store with Fender, Gretch,Jackson, Yamaha, Epiphone, Charvel, and more Electric guitars most. Epiphone, Yamaha, Martin, Taylor, and Fender Acoustic guitars. Fender, Vox Peavey, Laney, and other amps. Sound reinforcement. Concert sound company provide sound. Nice clean gear. Yamaha pianos. Friendly start. Horns. Electric drums. Drums. Violins. Strings. Straps. Music lessons.
Great staffs . quality items and always doing sales to satisfy clients.
Great Store. Fair Prices. Lots of Professional Gear and beats driving to a Guitar Center.
Great music store! Good, friendly service.
Great place, the ONLY place I shop for gear!!
Lots of cool music items.. Great place to check out .. Friendly staff
Good prices. Staff is knowledgeable and not pushy like some music shops.
Went in and asked to sit at one of the pianos and was treated like a mischievous 9 year old hell bent on destroying his product. When I do make a purchase I wont go here. I dont like to shop at places where I get treated like garbage for absolutely no reason at all. Its very offensive and Im not sure how he expects to makes sales when he doesnt let you see what hes selling. Id advise another store if youre looking for a good customer service experience because frankly you can buy a piano anywhere.
Anything they dont have on hand they can order for you... And staff is knowledgeable and informative.
Everytime Ive ever been in the store its been a pleasant experience. My 13 YR old daughter is getting into music and when we went last week a wonderful gentleman helped my daughter get comfortable. Even to the extent of plugging her a bass into the amp n lsft her with a wonderful motivation to pursue her passion. You know who you are!!!!Thank you.
Good friend works there, nice selection of music equipment
Just bought an amazing drum set! Such kind service and good lessons
Jerry has helped me twice with my guitar, and has both times been corteous and willing to tweek things based on my input. Best place in the boro for the modern guitarist.
Good selection, nice prices.
Amazing, the place is nice, lots of guitars, and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable great place definitely recommend to fellow musicians.
Really great customer service!
Awesome staff and selection!
Pretty good music store!
Awesome diversity, friendly staff, and great techs that always fix whatever problem I have with my guitars.
Great people
I take banjo lessons from George here. He is great! The staff are very friendly as well!
I wish they sold electric violins! Otherwise, AWESOME.
Love this store. Got my daughters clarinet here
The guys here were so helpful, gave me a great amp at a Great price. My son is getting into music we will be back for all our needs.
Because your reply was so nice😁
There was a nice young man who was very helpful answering questions from instrumrnt repair to guitar info. Thank you.
Very helpful and nice people.
Hey tuned my violin, but to my surprise being a comcert store they had no violons?? It was mostly rock band supplies (not the game obviously).
If you want anything other than a fender youre out of luck. They have almost no sheet music or brands besides fender and a few ibanez and squire. On the other hand if you want anything made by fender youve found the meca, they have tons to select from and the staff will happiky lend you a cable and amp to mess around with. Great staff and service!
Like always friendly and always interest service
If you want a too long, didnt read of this review to skip my ramblings then here it is: The employees failed to deliver on their promises, resulting in my not getting the instrument I left there back in time for when I needed it. They also didnt offer any sort of apology. The staff was very friendly while I was in the store, which is why I am honestly quite disappointed to have to write such a negative review. I left a ukulele to be restrung, get the action adjusted, and check the intonation (aka - a basic setup). I dropped the ukulele off in-store on a Tuesday, being told I would recieve a call on Thursday to discuss the price (quoted in store that itd be around $25) and that it would be ready for pickup on Saturday. I never got the call--even after waiting through Friday--and eventually called them late Saturday. After being put on hold for about 4 minutes, I was told that the ukulele wouldnt be done until the following Tuesday and that it would come out to be a total of around $53, more than doubling the cost and almost doubling the time taken. While I find the $53 price tag ridiculous (Ive never paid more than $20 for a basic setup on a ukulele), I was more upset about the extra time. As many musicians know, these setups can be time sensitive as you may have a gig, gathering, small show, et cetera that youll need your instrument for. In my case it was time sensitive, and this store failed to deliver what they said they could do on time. Furthermore, they failed to offer any sort of apology. Honestly, how hard is it to offer a $10 gift card or free strings for the inconvenience? I cancelled my order, I will not be returning, and I will be telling all musicians I personally know in the local music scene and at MTSU to avoid this store if you want good customer service both IN the store and OUT. Again, the guys seemed nice, so Im disappointed they couldnt deliver on a professional level.Edit: Im not sure whether they saw my review before doing this or not, but upon sending my girlfriends mother to pick up the ukulee for me (Im currently out of town) they gave free strings for the inconvenience. Its for this reason Im changing the review from 1 star to 2. While I appreciate the notion, they still failed to deliver. I appreciate the free strings, but you cant play a show with just strings. You also need a working order instrument that doesnt have an action as high as Snoop Dogg on 4/20.
Great selection and.prices
