This place is super clean. The staff is super nice. While I was setting up a rental for my daughter, one of the staff members that was playing on the piano took time to entertain my son and show him some things on said piano. I love how sweet they are. This place is also super affordable!

Great Place!The service there is absolutely amazing. The people were very kind and helpful. They also let me try out the instrument before I bought it. Everything is very great quality. I definitely recommend this place if you want a great deal on an instrument! I saved about $1,000+ even with getting a warranty and cleaning whenever. (Some of their accessories for the instruments are kind of overpriced)

I normally go to concert musical supply because its closer to my house they arent open on Sundays though so I stopped at music and arts to pick up new set of strings after the weather passed and the snow cleared the girl on the phone was so nice and both the employees that were present were very kind and helpful they had just the strings I was looking for even whenever theres no stocking really going on due to Major snowstorms thank you music and arts

Very important : Make sure you order and rent directly from this Murfreesboro store and NOT online . This local store is great. They are kind and super helpful. They seem to know what they’re doing In so grateful for them. However, do NOT order from the online music and arts website. They are unkind and take your money right away without ever sending you anything . They will not follow through with the contract and even though they charge you right away and send you an email saying your order will arrive within 5 days, it won’t happen. When you finally decide to call to ask about it, they mock you and tell you they cannot tell you if your order(for which you have already been charged) will ever even be shipped. And if you don’t call them, I guess you just get charged and never hear or see anything again. We have spoken to several customer service people (by calling the online customer service) who were unkind and angry-sounding from the start. (And I’m not an angry or mean person so it aucke . ) So, please don’t order online . We are still trying to get in touch with them again and it has been a month.But the positive note is that the local store seems to be great! 😬

Helpful and friendly staff. They dont always have the Alfred method books stocked well, thats what I mostly purchase here for students. They do give a 20% teacher discount, which is great

Went in one day with well enough money to buy almost anything they sold. Didnt even get a hello from the single clerk at the desk. I couldnt even ask for assistance after 5 minutes because he disappeared. They didnt have much of a selection anyways. I wont be back.

Super helpful. I bought a cheap violin where the pegs kept slipping. They put peg compound on it, we ended up snapping two strings, but again, cheap violin. Ultimately I got new strings (they were going to just replace the ones that snapped). But the violin isnt utter garbage anymore.

AVOID...AVOID...AVOID... RENTING A SCHOOL INSTRUMENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!We rented my daughters instrument from them for two years. I went to the store to pay it off but the numbers didn’t seem to add up. Kid in the store couldn’t provide me with an itemized printout of our payment history. He also didn’t seem to know how any of the payment stuff worked and advised I’d need to call their customer service for that.In telling me to call CS, he warned me their CS was horrible and I would probably wait forever to get someone on the phone. That was an understatement!Upon my first call to CS, I waited on hold for 10 minutes but ended up taking the option to leave a message for call back.As of 7pm the following day, no call back from CS. I called again and held for over 15 minutes until someone finally answered. Lady advises the call center (which she is at) is unable to go over and explain my payment history. She can only take payments. She says she is “putting in an order” for an invoice to be mailed and emailed to me which can take about a day to process. She also advises she is putting in a request to have the finance people call me to go over the payment history and that can take 24-48 hours.I will not rent another instrument or do business with a place that does not take their customer service more seriously!!! There are to many other options available.

Wow I had to get this off my chest I know it was a while back but I am still furious over the way they treated me and my family. I rented a used flute and was told that when flute was paid off I would receive a brand new one when the payments were finished. It was really used when I started with my payments. Anyhow they didnt live up to their end because I paid off flute with no late payments and was told that was my flute. I would never have started making payments on a used flute Bad business beware of this place!!!!!
