Ive been with this team since the start. I love the classes and how people only build you up and not tear you down. Its more family than just teammates. My 6.5 year old son has been attending now for 3 months! He loves it! It has been fascinating to watch how quickly he has learned from Professor Gabriel. The Professor has a huge heart for all his students and treats us all as family. He focuses on all physical disciplines and even Nutritional Wellness! Our kids (14 and 9) have been working with Professors Gabriel for close to two years now. I can not say enough great things about this little family and the atmosphere he has created. I began training here about two months ago and have learned so much. The gym is always clean and the training is very hands on. Excellent crowd to learn and roll with. Professor Gabriel knows everyone is not at the same level and does a great job teaching all levels.

What an amazing place to come and get a fantastic workout, and learn an amazing martial art. My son and I feel like Legion is our 2nd home! We have met so many phenomenal people and made many new friends. Professor António and Professor Gabriel are incredible instructors. They have morning and evening classes as well as classes for kids from 3+years to teen classes! Intro classes for new members and anti bullying for kids as well. If you haven’t been to Legion Jiu Jitsu you are missing out!

This place is not like other Jiu Jitsu schools. You not only learn self defense through the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but you gain a family of friends all looking to better themselves. The atmosphere is one of acceptance and to really embrace the Bjj lifestyle. The training is hard and effective but you never have to worry about getting hurt because everyone wants you to learn and get better for the next class. Professor Gabriel is great with everyone from kids, and beginners to seasoned competitors and veteran Bjj practitioners. You are missing out if you don’t train here.

So as of this week, Ive been attending classes with at Legion for two months. I really wanted to give it time to give my honest opinion.I love it here. Professor Gabe is incredibly professional, but also deeply human, taking a real interest in who we develop into as people. He goes out of his way to develop a warm, uplifting environment that feels like family. He constantly emphasizes that jiu jitsu should be a place of care, a place of fun, and a place of learning.I feel like Ive grown so much in the short amount of time Ive been with Legion. I feel more confident in my body. I feel less anxiety about being alone. I have a love for jiu jitsu that makes it at the forefront of my mind on a daily basis.The community here is amazing. The professor is amazing. This is a nurturing environment that meets you at your level and pushes you to further than you thought you ever could.

One of the best places to learn and train Jiujitsu, as well as befriend some great human beings. All of the coaches genuinely care for you both on and off the mat, and have a wealth of knowledge in Jiujitsu, mma, and wrestling, as well as nutrition and overall health.
