Mario is the man! Pastime is a cool spot on the square in Murfreesboro to get a haircut. Fairly priced and a nice environment in the shop. Mario has been cutting my hair for close to a year, and I have never been disappointed. 5 star cut and fade every time. He gives super professional haircuts and we always have fun, engaging conversation. Definitely would recommend Pastime and Mario to anyone.

Mario has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now and has always taken his time on my beard and hair. I always look forward to my time there because it is a relaxing experience and when I walk out I have a 5 star haircut. I would highly recommend YoYo (Mario) to all of my friends and family.

I loved the pool tables in the barber shop. After my son got his hair cut we played a couple of games of pool. They have couches, magazines, game systems and a T.V as well. Plenty for a kid to do while waiting to get their hair cut.

Having been to quite a few barbers in several countries I was very pleasantly surprised to find such a great shop.Mario gave me the best haircut and shave Ive had in the 3 years Ive lived in Tennessee. I may have had a better haircut at some point in my life, but if I did I cant remember it! Long story short, I wont be getting a hair cut from anybody else for the rest of my time at MTSU.

Mario is one of the best barbers I have ever had the privilege of going to. Mario is a master barber that does not cut because it is his job but he cuts with purpose. I love, love, love Pastime. Mario is truly a God send. His master barber skills are on point. I love bringing my boys to see him because we get great service and we are in and out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend that you have Mario as a barber.

Kala is the best in Murfreesboro. Friendly and the only one to ever be able to cut my hair anyway I want. She has cut mine and my three boys hair for years and has never disappointed.

A great place to get a haircut. They do offer walk-ins, but I suggest calling ahead and trying to make an appointment. Many of the barbers book up quickly for the day and are unable to accept further walk-ins. Not a problem, just call ahead or reach your preferred barber. As always, I highly recommend Taisha - one of the best.

Best Barber, Cut & atmosphere in Murfreesboro. Im in a wheelchair and very particular about my haircut & the barber/stylist. Mario, cuts my hair and when I leave theres not one hair on me or my chair. Hes Professional, attentive and thankful for my business. The staff greets me as soon as I roll through the door. We love this place. We followed Taisha because she is the only person my husband trusts to cut his and our son’s hair. The atmosphere is great. There is pool to play or video games while you wait. Highly recommend!

Spent alot of time there as a teenager and spent alot of dimes....wed go there after school Holloway High class of 82 which wasnt to far from the square and for a dime they would rackem and you passed the racker a dime.....some of the best memories ever 37 years later still open....AMAZING

Folks.. these people are the best in town..i go every chance i get for a haircut and a straight razor shave from Paige or Mario..highly recommend them for everything from a simple cut to the most extensive work you need...they even fix what other barbers and salons mess up.. The staff is highly trained and are just great people all the way around..

This is a great barber shop! Its a Murfreesboro institution, having been here for over 110 years. I highly recommend Taisha, she is very skilled and gives excellent attention to detail. The atmosphere is awesome and everyone is very friendly.

Love the place. Al Capone used to get his hair cut there, and I get the same treatment for much less money than he had. Also, theyve offered either a half-priced or free pool game with any haircut.
