Called and the woman in the office were very nice and helpful when I called about my dryer not working. They were able to have the tech come out that same day which was truly amazing to me. They had to replace the heating element. I was told to expect up to 3 days before the part arrived but some how they managed to get it the next day! They were truly amazing in getting my dryer all fixed in less then 3 days. They have awesome customer service and very knowledgeable technicians. And reasonable prices for fixing my dryer. I am definitely telling all my friends and co workers and family about Stones River Appliance. Will definitely call if I ever need anything else worked on! So the service was contracted through our dishwasher brand frigidaire. The technican barely looked at our machine and said we needed to replace our dishwasher and suggested another brand. After he left my wife fixes the dishwasher saves us money outside of the service charge. Very poor experience, do not recommend unless you want to pay someone to tell you you need a new appliance instead of actually problem solving. I wander if Electrolux knows the contract service providers they use just recommend a different brand instead of trying to fix there brand equipment
Poor communication, company rescheduled my appointment and then no showed. They have not returned any of my calls. Disappointed, I was excited to use them as a another company actually recommended them.
Very professional and courteous because they worked around my schedule. Chris called me on his way and arrived 30 minutes early which I said was great. Looked at my washer and said it would be $900.00 to repair. He did not charge me a service call fee. Appreciate his honesty. Will use again if necessary
I called Stones River yesterday about my Samsung washing machine that stopped working. They were able to schedule a technician to come out this morning between 8-12, and 2 technicians arrived at 11:15am. They asked a couple questions about the issue, and immediately diagnosed the problem, performed the work quickly, showed me where the issue was (the filter was clogged with 2 baby socks 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️) and got it fixed on the spot. They ran a quick cycle to make sure all was correct and were done and I paid them on the spot, all in less than an hour. Fortunately my problem was easily fixable, but I will definitely give them a call if I have any other issues in the future! Thank you guys so much!
Will definitely use there business again. The crew that serviced my washer acted with the upmost professionalism. They were able to quickly find my problem and fix it. Im fortunate to have a minor problem but confident if faced with something bigger they will be able to get the job done.
Over charge for parts and labor. Needed a part that cost 25-40 dollars and was charged $90 plus the $12 shipping cost for it. Another $90 for labor on maybe a 10 minute job plus $90 service charge for just coming out to my house and then tax. All in all it ended up being $300 with an uncertainty on if that would even fix the problem.Update....Chris keeps texting me to take this review down after coming to my house and dumping the change that I paid with in my driveway. Yes I paid with change, as a thank you for their poor service. Apparently he thinks he can try and bully me into removing it. I wish I could give him less than a star!
I called this service to look at a stove that stopped heating. The owner came out and decided it could not be repaired and made some recommendations. While here I asked him to look at a leaky water dispenser on my refrigerator. He said he would order a part and return to do the repair and the office would call when the part came in. He gave me a quote which I approved. He never came back. No call, no email, no text - nothing. I was completely ghosted. I have nothing good to say about any company that does this. If I could have given zero stars, I would have.
Poor job. Tech should be fired. I waited over a week for parts that I was told needed to be ordered to repair my washing machine. The tech didnt open the washing machine to examine the washer at all prior to the parts ordered. He sat on the phone with tech support . Looked inside and the bin and ordered some parts..... The parts came and supposedly he installed them and the problem with the washer STILL EXISTS he didnt even test the washer to see if it works. Now the worthless tech wont answer the phone and neither will stones river .Their technician has further damaged the washing machine and it now wont spin where as before the machine was somewhat usable. so they are not even going to service this machine and said for me to deal with the warranty company.Update due to response:No physical threats were made to anyone!!!In fact I stated to NOT SEND THAT TECHNICIAN back out to my house.I personally was not in the same city at the time this poor excuse for warranty service was attempted.Per this companies website; they are to test the machine to ensure working order. The technician was called by my wife and myself with no answer.A few calls were made to main office that went unanswered and even the owner did not have the professional decency to address the issue, when Dawn answered the phone.Also, because I am travelling the cell phone signal was interrupted and or I was hung up on multiple times. Because I am unsure if these were signal issues Ill give the benefit of the doubt.So, upon the few attempts that were successful and speaking with Dawn I was put on hold and then talked over and with little explanation as to why we are being referred back to the warranty company.I was accused of harrassment and threats over the phone which is COMPLETELY FALSE!!! And upon immediately denying such lies and attempting to set the record straight Dawn once again talked over me and hung up.Finally getting no where with them, the best I Got from them is that they will do nothing for me to repair my machine they further damaged and now I have to talk to the warranty company.Well over an hour past our final conversation, that I was hung up on. My wife was contacted by the police department due to this company claiming we were harassing them.The truth is, we wanted them to do their job correctly as they advertise. Instead we were defrauded of time and money and accused and harrassed by them calling the cops due to their failure to properly communicate.

Fantastic response and my refrigerator part (fan and motor) was replaced and running in less than 30 minutes! I had called a competitor and they were here several days ago and still don’t have the part! Never again, I will always call Stones River for all repairs. I had a great experience with this company. The lady who answered my phone call was super friendly. They got me an appointment within a couple of days. Chris did a great job of explaining what needed to be fixed with my oven. He was also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

As of today, I have been without a refrigerator for 5 weeks. Stones River was the company that my warranty company chose to pay to service my appliance. Since day 1 there has been issues. They no showed my 1st, 3rd & 4th scheduled appointments to have someone come out. The only time that someone did come out, he stated that he only knew very little about refrigerators. I had to call and follow up with everything regarding my claim and they still didnt show up 3 times! The office manager, Dawn, is very rude and never there (literally). If you are on the phone with the receptionist and Dawn just so happens to be there, she will NEVER pick up the lines ringing in the background. She is lazy and doesnt deserve to be in a managerment position. IF ITCWAS MY BUSINESS, SHE WOULD BE GONE! The only positive thing with this company was speaking to the receptionist. However, this company has failed her due to not training her correctly or fully and not giving her the ability to make decisions or calls regarding customer claims thru their warrenty. This company is the reason that I have been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks longer than I should have been. If your warranty company tries to send these people, REQUEST A DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDER!

Was in town at our sons home and needed a part to repair the dishwasher. Called Stones River and the young lady who answered the phone was very polite she could not answer our question but took the number and said she would have her boss call us back. The owner called us back within 10 minutes and was very helpful. We took a picture of our part and text it to him he text us back with the replacement part. Being from out of town we googled appliance parts and called several but by far Stones River was most helpful and professional. Would recommend them to anyone in the area. We have been waiting since june the 8th for this company to replace the drum on our Samsung dryer and to this date it has not been replaced. They dont answer the phone.This company was picked by our home warranty service and service fees were taken out of our account.
Didnt show up. No communication until after I called two times. Cant afford to take another day off with this kind of unreliability.8am-12pm appointment window booked 1 week ago. No one called to confirm or showed by 11am, so I called to verify appointment still on. Office says, yes appointment is still on, but tech is likely on the job because they arent answering their phone. Sounds good. No problem.1:20pm rolls around, and still no one has called. I call office again, and they call the tech while I am on the phone. Tech tells office they will call me right away - as they were just about to call me.2pm rolls around, and tech finally calls to say he is having a horrible Monday, and could he come tomorrow.Bottom line: It takes until 2 hours after the appointment to tell me they wont be there, and need to schedule for another day. Unacceptable.I am completely sympathetic to days that go wrong, but I am not sympathetic to a basic lack of communication and customer service. Call or text - just keep people informed, so they can adjust their plans accordingly.
Horrible customer service! I inquired about getting a small part that is easily replaced by myself, was brushed off for two days while my dryer was down, then was just sent to voicemail every time after that. If they cannot take small request how are they able to manage an actual repair. I will be sending any actual repair business elsewhere.

I had purchased a Samsung washer & dryer combo a couple years ago. Unfortunately the washer started having issues with spinning a full cycle. They had it running flawlessly within the week at a reasonable price. I will definitely be using them again if I have any more issues. They were fast, reasonably priced, & very friendly. I worked with Chris Callahan who was very responsive and professional. My dryer stopped working, and after getting horrendous service from another appliance repair company, Chris worked with me to get everything taken care of. He was thorough and got the job done in a timely manner. I also found the pricing to be very reasonable. I will be using this company for my appliance needs in the future.
Contacted Stones River Appliance on Monday and received a Tuesday appointment. They called and asked to come by early which worked out great for us. We had a leak in our washer however the problem couldn’t be recreated while they were here. They asked us to run a load and see what happened and let them know. We did as asked and sure enough the problem reoccurred. Sent a text with a couple on pictures and they were back 45 minutes later and quickly fixed the problem. We would highly recommend Stones River Appliance.
The lady who answers the phone has very poor customer service skills. In fact she was pretty darn rude. Id avoid as they are also highly priced.

I just had exceptional customer service by Stones River Appliance! The owner, receptionist and service man ALL went above and beyond to help me with an oven repair issue! They were courteous, professional, timely and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and will DEFINITELY use them again. We just moved to the Murfreesboro area but as far as Im concerned this is our appliance repair company from now on.

This company gave me the run around for nearly 4 weeks. They were scheduled to show up to fix our fridge 4 times and each time they didnt show up and didnt call but rather I called them and it was always an excuse. Our refrigerator was not cooling and we had purchased an extended warranty. Absolutely ridiculous. I could have called 10 other companies in the same town and they would have had my refrigerator fixed within a few days they told me that the parts were coming from Nashville any professional reputable company would send their employees to Nashville and get the part instead of making their client wait 4 weeks. A refrigerator is practically a necessity to live. The extra money spent eating out and often times staying with family in order to have milk and food we need. We have 3 children and weve done with no fridge for that long. It has caused a huge disturbance in our lives. If I had a choice, Id NEVER wait for this place or hire them, they would have been fired immediately. However, they were hired through the hhgregg warranty company BC our fridge was still under warranty. So we had no choice.
Great customer service and came all the way out to the country in Columbia, TN. Technician arrived on time and repaired a commercial grade True 3 sliding door cooler. Very impressed that this company knows how to repair residential and commercial appliances. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend!!
Mr. Callahan and his team have worked on several appliances for my family over the years. They are always professional and easy to work with whether over the phone or on a service call. They are up front with you about when something needs to be repaired or replaced. If you have appliances that need attention, there is no one better to call.
Had Stones River appliance assigned to us through our warranty on our Whirlpool refrigerator. They were great, we were originally assigned another appliance company and they were rude (Gabes in Hernmitage) finally after a week of not being seen Gabes admitted they were unable to help us so my warranty company assigned Stones River. They kept to their appointment time and the owner came out (Chris). He was very courteous and knew exactly what to order for my dead compressor. He knew that 2 other parts were necessary. The unit was only 2 years old but finding a compressor was troublesome unfortunately. Stones River was amazing. They discovered that the suppliers were unable to find the main part (compressor) and the girl in the office (Lauren) checked everywhere and daily until she finally found it. This process took a week. They were very kind to keep me informed about where they were at shipping times and when they could come out. Keeping me informed was key as we were without a fridge until these parts could come in. I really appreciated their open communication. Chris was great when the part did come in. They made an immediate appointment and he had it all fixed within an hour. If I didnt have a warranty I would still use this company as they were very honest and upfront people to do business with.

If youre needing an appliance fixed I definitely would not call this place. This is the most unprofessional & unprepared company i have ever dealt with. They tried to diagnose the problem with my dishwasher over the phone. They never sent a technician out to look at it to see what the problem was. They then said they needed to order a part and after putting me off to come out and fix it due to they apparently only have 1 technician they finally come out today only to tell me they dont have the right part to fix it. No surprise to me because I told them this would happen. Now the office is conveniently not answering the phone. Worst company I have ever seen. I wish I could give a lower rating
Our Frigidaire refrigerator (which is still under warranty) had ice buildup in the freezer so Frigidaire sent Stones River Appliance to repair it. The technician who came put in sealant & changed out 2 tiny pieces of plastic that go on the corners. Frigidaire said they were cosmetic so they didnt cover the plastic pieces.. Stones River had the nerve to charge us almost $28.00 and then sent out 2 invoices within 2 weeks and threatened us with collection &/or attorney fees if not paid for within 4 days. The best part is that they never repaired my freezer!!! Had to call Frigidaire back (it was a Friday afternoon) & they called Stones River Appliance while I was on hold to have them call us to set up an appointment. They spoke with some man who said we would receive a call that coming Monday morning to set up an appointment. Never received a call so called Frigidaire back once again. Told them I DID NOT want this company back in my home seeing as they had the nerve to charge us what they did, never called to set up an appointment and never repaired our appliance. Of course, the girl in the office denied that they ever received that call from Frigidaire. Really dont want to do business with a company like this!!
Came out charge $87 said I needed a $14 part but would charge another $87 to come out and put it in. They need to care switches in their vehicle if they are a Frigidaire repair service. How do you call yourself a repairman when you dont have anything to repair with. Will check next time to make sure the repair company has parts (simple parts) on the truck before they come
They were great. I had a warranty repair done on my stove . They were on time, called when they were on the way. Very knowledgeable and fast. Repair guy was very friendly. I recommend them!!!
We had Stones River Appliance Repair Inc. out to fix our refrigerator. We called on Sunday morning, they answered the phone on Sunday morning, and had someone out to fix it 2 hours later. The tech Chris had the part and fixed it so we didnt loose any of our food. Even with the extra charge for an emergency repair...the cost was still reasonable. Lowes appliance warranty set them up to come out. I waited all weekend on an appointment. Never showed. Had a 8-12pm time. Lowes called then twice. They never called me.Update they called and came. Said they had left me voicemails last week. Not according to my phone log. I will update when service is complete. 9/3/19

Had service scheduled for 8-12 time frame. I called to confirm, and they stated that the tech didnt even start their day until 9... So I called back at 9 and was told my tech would arrive closer to the 12 oclock estimate and I would receive a 30 minute advance notice before their arrival, which was fine. However I did not receive a call and by 11:30 I called them back with no answer. The next I heard from them was when I received a call at 1:40 from their office letting me know the tech is behind schedule. Why on earth would you call me at 1:40 to let me know my tech is running late that was suppose to arrive between 8-12? Had I received that call at 11 or 11:30, sure, but not an hour and 40 minutes passed my scheduled time. Horrible experience and I cancelled my scheduled service and will gladly wait a bit longer if it means supporting an alternate business.
Been without a washer for 2 weeks. Part came in and the guy never showed up. They only do my area tuesdTue and Thursdays. I called at no one is answering the phone. The site said it closes at 9 and its 430.UPDATE:. I will give tget 4 stars now. They did end up coming but just outside of the window I was told. I just wish someone would have called me to let me know or answered the phone when I called
The appliance technician, Chris Callahan, was professional and courteous! My Maytag washer machine is nearly 20 years old. He knew exactly how to disassemble the old model and diagnosed the problem with precision. I will gladly use and recommend him to service all future appliance needs! If you are looking for experience and customer service, use Stones River Appliance. The warranty work poor reviews are from Lowes Warranty Services, and should not directly affect this company. The limitations put upon the repairmen are beyond their control. I am a Lowes fan, but not the extended warranty service they provide.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with for repairs. They repair by throwing part after part until one finally works, but they never know if the part is the actual problem before doing it. If you didnt have a warranty this could really add up in the cost of parts and the cost of having them come out. They claim repairs are basically guess work and there is no way for them to know in advance what is causing the problem. They do not care at all about their customers. If you complain to the girl in the office she thinks it is acceptable to yell at you because she claims your complaint is disrespectful. If Id been face to face with her Id have slapped the attitude out of her. My recommendation to anyone considering using these guys is Do Not!! My washer under warranty with Lowes and they even became disgusted with them and failed in another repair facility to fix my washer.

Technician came to my house on three separate occasions. The first time out, there wasnt anything he could find wrong with our washer, so there was no charge. A few days later our washer was leaking again, and he came right out. He identified the problem, just a piece was dirty, and fixed it. Wasnt going to charge me anything, but I asked him to order a new part to replace it anyway. Hardly charged me anything for their outstanding customer service.Its a good feeling to know that there are still honest people out there, doing a great job to take care of people. The company was originally very responsive via text message about my problem. The person on text message told me to call the office after 3 and that someone would be there to help. When I called, I got a message. No problem. I left a message, assuming I would be called back that day or perhaps the next morning.Unfortunately, I never got a call back. When I text the number I had reached originally, telling them that I did not receive a call back from the office, I also did not receive a text back.There are plenty of other companies in the area willing to help you. In fact, Mike Way told me over the phone how to fix my problem--without me even asking him to do so--rather than charging me for a service call and any work.
Our refrigerator quit cooling Christmas week. After calling several places, this was the only place that would come out to the country (we live about 20 minutes out of the city) and they came the same day we called (Sears agreed to come out but 3 weeks later). They diagnosed the problem and came out the next day to replace the faulty part. Excellent service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
Charged $50 to tell us they could not fix our dishwasher.
They did a warranty repair on our 1-year-old Samsung clothes dryer. The technician (Bill?) called ahead of time and arrived on time. When we described the noise it was making, he knew exactly what part was failing (tensioner pulley) and he said it would be fixed in 20 minutes. He was friendly and answered all of our questions, including showing me how the roller on the idler pulley would no longer turn easily compared to the replacement part. Sure enough, he was putting the dryer back together after just 20 minutes and we were all done! Hopefully this wont be an annual occurrence but if it does, at least we can look forward to a quick and easy repair like our recent experience with Stones River Appliance Repair.
Very professional and reasonably priced. MFG called them for warranty repair on my dryer last year, so I used them for dishwasher repair. Arrive when they said they would.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! Stones River Appliance is awful. We had a service call scheduled on a Friday with a 12-4pm service window. At 3:45 I had to call them to see if they were still coming. The lady that answered seemed rude and irritated that I was trying to get a status update. She finally agreed to reach out to the technician, but she said he wasn’t answering her calls. An hour later my husband called and she said she was still unable to reach him. She finally called me back close to 5pm and said he was still at least an hour out. She offered to have him come out on Saturday (something she said he doesn’t normally do). I agreed. Saturday came and went. They never showed up, never called, nothing. I called the office, but was met with an answering machine. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE.
Stones River Appliance Repair was scheduled to come investigate a problem with my warranty repair which is a control board. It has been 3 weeks and not fixed yet. I was told a week ago that they were waiting on a part. I have left messages and have. ot been updated. Today is the end of week 3. I will be calling fridgidaire to complain as well as posting a low review wherever I can until it gets fixed. i cant believe it. The technician was super professional.

At first the company was very helpful and willing to help. The first time they came out he replaced a door locking mechanism on my washer. I paid almost $300 for the part and labor thinking that was the answer to my problem. Unfortunately, I still had problems with my washer and they were able to come back out and look at it no problem and with no extra charge.The owner was still not able to fix my washer and offered to sell me one he had at his shop. This was wednesday and he said he could bring the new one out on Friday. Come friday afternoon, I call them to make sure the delivery is still scheduled and what time. The receptionist informed me that my delivery was set up for Saturday. I said okay, that is fine, I will see you tomorrow. Come Saturday no delivery, no phone call, no answer at place of business. I call them Monday morning to find out what is going on, what happened to my delivery? The receptionist tells me that they will be out today between 6-7pm. AGAIN, NO delivery, NO phone call, NO answer at place of business. Tuesday I call them back to find out what is going on. The owner called me back and said I will have it there tonight.Tuesday afternoon I call the owner to make sure he is still delivering the washer that he said he would last friday. He said he was running some test on it and he would call me back. Instead of calling me back, he text me to tell me that he has done all he can on the washer and it is still not working properly. So, I waited 5 days for nothing!! No washer!

And she is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever come in contact with in regards to a place of business.

Worst company ever..they came out FOUR times to fix our icemaker..still not fixed..we were supposed to be refunded 220.00 about 2 weeks ago..still waiting..the owner keeps telling us hes sending this day and that day...in my opinion..STAY AWAY.
