My technician was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in teaching me how to get the best out of my refrigerator! On time, professional and courteous. I was very impressed with the way my repair was handled. I will definitely be using their services again!

I have been trying to fix my refrigerator leak issue for the past 8 months, Ive been thrown from one customer rep. to a manger over this entire period with no resolution. The floor is currently damaged which will cost me $10,000 to fix due to the refrigerator leak. I have reported them to the BBB and will file a lawsuit today. RUN AWAY from this service, its a RIP OFF and you wont get any service.

Terrible service. Technician was supposed to phone when on the way. Did not. I was supposed to receive email receipt. Did not. I was supposed to receive email with tracking number for needed part. Did not. Technician only could say that they had a lot of trouble getting my email address right. Even he admitted that sounded like a thin excuse. Part was supposed to be on back order but he wasn’t positive about that either.
I’ve had at least 4 service calls on this Kenmore Coldspot this year. It takes 1-2 weeks to get them scheduled and then the are cancelled because the parts aren’t delivered. This time, the service tech told me the ice maker would start making ice within 3 hours. It still isn’t working.
I talked to the repairman on the phone as I was not here. My wife put him on the phone and he told me the part for my dishwasher would cost over $400 but if I took the home warranty it would cover it plus the service call would be 50% off. Naturally I said yes and he collected the first month which was over $40. When I got home I found out he did something minor like pushing a reset button. Also the warranty didnt kick in for 30 days. I feel like I was misled a little.
Have used Sears twice now to repair my Kenmore appliances and they have done a great job both times. This is not an indictment of Kenmore because the repairs were made on 10 year old machines that seem to run constantly. I will use Sears again in the future
Satisfied with the repairs. Waiting until the morning of the appointment to offer me a more precise time window was of minimal value since it was virtually too late to adjust other personal tasks by the time notification was received, not to mention that the notification was worded in a confusing manner. Not at all impressed that each of my payment cards issued a potential fraud alert when we tried to process the payment!
Serviceman was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Did a wonderful job repairing my riding lawn mower to make it usable. The age of the machine (over 8 years) will never make it perfect but it is in working order thankfully.

I have been a loyal customer of Sears for as long as I can remember. I have purchased numerous car tires & batteries, appliances, clothing, boots, etc. over the years. Five years ago I purchased a Kenmore Hot Water Heater. I still have the receipt and warranty. When I called the number in my manual the customer service representative was rude and insisted that I was not covered under my warranty. I reached out to Sears and their service department called back and confirmed that only the parts were covered. I had no hot water and scheduled the first available opening which was 3 days later. The technician was supposed to be here between 8am - 12pm. He called at 11:30 and said he would be here by 12pm. He arrived after 12pm. The problem was minor and the technician diagnosed what was wrong in less than 10 minutes. The lower thermostat was burned out. It was a small part easily removed with 2 screws and he replaced it immediately. There was no moving of items or special tools needed and the water heater was in our clean organized garage and easily accessible. He handed me the bill which clearly states that the part I needed was $23.00 which I was not charged for. There was a service call charge of $99.00 which I was told was applied to the bill since they did the repair. With the free part and the $99 being applied, the 20 minute service call that the technician arrived late to cost us $249.00. When I purchased this Kenmore Water Heater from a Sears store in our local mall 5 years ago it cost me $299.00 and Sears charged me $229.00 to install the water heater. I have complained to every Sears organization and person I could find about this outrageous and unfair price. I have emailed, tweeted and faxed my complaint. I finally received a call from the service department manager who told me(exact words), the prices are what the prices are. This is definitely not what I call good customer service. Two days later a get an email solicitation from Sears offer a 10% discount on future appliance purchases. Talk about a slap in the face. They cant discount their service price and they want me to buy more from them??? I am canceling my credit card and will never do business with Sears again. Definitely not the Sears I remember. So disappointed. Please reconsider calling someone else for your service needs. We struggle to make ends meet and I could have called a local repairman and avoided this high cost. Sears cannot even validate the charges and simply states that the prices are what the prices are. I have been a homeowner for a very long time and have never felt so unfairly overcharged. Prices are high for everything but 20 minutes to do a simple repair to replace a $23 part is unbelievable. Shame on Sears.

I bought an brand new Kenmore elite refrigerator in 2015. We also purchased the protection plan for 300.00 making the total purchase for 1600.00. Since then, weve had repairman out here 4 times repairing the ice maker, which they never did. I was supposed to get a new refrigerator according to your protection plan agreement. Instead my protection plan was canceled, and now Im waiting for an refund, which I have been waiting for. Its been 2 weeks now! I will no longer be using sears for my appliance needs annymore! Just give me what you owe me and let this be done!
We had a little difficulty scheduling the repair for a decent date due to living in a rural area and computer issues on Sears side, but everyone was very nice and we got it worked out with a time I could live with. The repair person was prompt, efficient, and courteous. He was very thorough and made sure the problem got fixed and there were no other issues. He was not able to fix the washer in the first visit, but he ordered the parts and scheduled time to come back and made sure I could still use it in the meantime. Buying the extended warranty was well worth it! Thank you
This service was one of the most appreciated in many, many years. The gentleman on the phone when I first called in nailed the problem on the head without ever seeing the machine. The serviceman who came out to do the up close diagnostics was precise and ordered the exact parts we needed which came in the mail in 3 to 4 days. Then the serviceman came quickly, made the repairs in a very short time and my dishwasher has not worked this well in about 3-4 years. It cleans now like it did when I first bought it. Great service and the repair man was helpful and knowledgeable. We had a front loading was machine that that had a moldy seal, he replaced the seal and gave us some great tips on how to prevent this from happening again. He was on time and very professional, great service.
Our washer was making a terrible noise and kept stopping and giving us a code so we called Sears Appliance Repair and they came out and fixed it for us. The gentleman that came was very polite and helpful. So glad we called them and that they could fix it so we didn’t have to go out and buy a new one. Will definitely refer them to family and friends.
Third try was the charm. Problem with ice cubes freezing together was properly diagnosed the first time, but the technician only removed the foam from the thermistor. A new technician came on the second visit and found that the service notice indicated that the controller board was supposed to be replaced also, so he replaced the board. The fridge display was then flashing zeros, but he said it was in diagnostic mode and would be OK in a couple of days, so he left. Four days later the display was still flashing zeros so I called again. After waiting four more days for another appointment, a third technician came. He could not find the problem on his own, so he called the phone help line. He had to wait on on hold listening to music just like when I call the cable company. When he finally got to talk to someone, and started working on the problem he lost connection on the call and had to start over. After waiting another 20 or 30 minutes he finally got another person on the phone. After working through several checks, they determined that the rebuilt controllers normally used on service calls would not work on my model refrigerator. He installed a new OEM controller, and everything was fine. It just should not have required three trips when the problem was properly diagnosed on the first visit. It should not have taken 4 days to get back here after the problem was not fixed. And the service technicians need a direct line to the help desk. Anyway, like I said, third time is charm.

Fast and professional repairs made at my home. Parts were ordered for me and came in quickly for the repair. At little pricey but definitely worth the service and convenience.
The serviceman Jeff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Ordered exactly the right parts and had my refrigerator working fine very quickly.
Serviceman was prompt to arrive and assess the dryer was not the problem. Said it was electrical and I needed an electrician. Did not suggest any causes of the problem and did not have the dryer running. Charged me the $79.00 service fee plus additional $23.00 for work he performed while there. Though he didnt do anything other than look at dryer. Dryer has run for two years before stopping. Does breaker boxes automatically go bad??? Very unhappy with results of this visit. Would not recommend and will not use them again. Called Lee Company to come out and check the electrical problem. All it needed was the breaker flipped. The Sears repairman could not do that??? Lee company, always honest and fair, did not charge me anything to flip the breaker. They checked it out and said probably a power surge made it flip, that nothing was wrong with the breaker itself. So sorry I didnt call Lee Company in the beginning to check my dryer!
Have a Samsung dishwasher that has had issues twice (not a four star review). Both times got good service from Sears. The service on both times was good. Second issue was a water temp sensor that was bad and the service person had to return with the part. He did not make it that afternoon as he said at first, but the next day instead. Only reason not a five start, but still the overall service was great both times.

The man that did the repair was excellent. I feel like that Sears should have covered the cost since I have read reviews of the problem; Technically, it s a design flaw which most often causes failure beyond the warranty date. When a design flaw occurs with my car, Toyota fixes it. I feel Sears should as well given this flaw was know at the point I purchased the refrigerator. If you were some mom and pop operation with no know NAME I would not expect as much but you are SEARS.

Victor did not fix the repair on the first try and also messed up the cabinet the dishwasher was in. We also have a leak from the dishwasher (2 years old) that left damage to hardwood floor. We are confused by the process to get this damage repaired. Sears sent a second person from A&E out today to review work. Hopefully they will fix on 11/2. We need help with the floor damage claim.
Muy dishwasher door wouldnt latch. I called Sears and within 3 working days they sent a repairman out who arrived on time with advanced notice. He fixed the dishwasher and its been fine!!! Thank you Sears !!!

So I waited a full week for an appointment to repair my refrigerator. I have a window from 1-5 pm. No one comes, no one calls...so I call a little after 5 and they say someone will arrive at 6:45 pm. Ok... So at 7:45 I call back because no one has called or texted to cancel. They then put me on hold and tell me that the technician can not come and that a different department will call me within 24 hours.I realize its hard to find anyone to repair anything, But I trusted Sears to be better. Completely disappointed enough to write this negative review. I would be scared to stay home another day from work at this point for this kind of customer service/ communication. Im guessing if I had not called it simply would have been no call, no show. At the very least, an email or text cancellation or anything would have been appreciated.
Other than being told by salesman at Sears that we had purchased a 5 year maintenance service plan on our new lawn tractor with 5 annual no-charge maintenance service calls, I will say that their service tech was knowledgeable, courteous and a pleasure to have come to our house for our 1st maintenance. Turn s out we purchased a 5 year basically extended warranty.
Came when said they would and called when on their way. What I did not like was that he told to do things to the tiller that is not mentioned in the book. For example start tiller every two weeks even in winter and let it run a couple of hours.

Tech was great, but was scheduled for Friday, got emailed, and no show. No compassion for my ruined clothes and front load washer full of water and unable to get unlocked causing my entire house to smell for over a week. Reps were rude and incompetent. I work in a call center, and their actions were justifiably fireable. They offered me $50 and when I asked again to speak with a supervisor, I was told that the supervisor offered $150, but that was only if she didnt have to talk to me!!!! I wasnt cussing or being difficult, just know sups have more power than reps, and my NEW FULL LOAD OF TOWELS that was ruined cost me more than $50. STILL NOT RESOLVED. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. LONG TERM SEARS CUSTOMER WHO IS FED UP, AND WILL NO LONGER SUGGEST THE SEARS AND THEIR WARRANTY TO ANYONE

After three visits and waiting for approx. 7 weeks, our ice maker works. I glad it wasnt the compressor or our food might have spoiled!!!!!

The repairman did a great job! Diagnosed the problem bent drum and ordered parts, came on time to repair the washer. The only bad thing was they left me holding the bad parts, instead of taking them away.

After 10 weeks (8 cancelled service calls, over 8 hours on the phone) of not having a working fridge and freezer, they replaced my compressor and it still isnt working. I have to wait another 2 weeks for a tech to come out to see what the issue is... I have NO IDEA when my appliance will actually be fixed correctly. I had to complain on social media to get any type of response or ownership to help with this matter.

My washer was finally repaired the last part that was ordered was not needed the problem was the door latch the tech reset it and fixed the problem

The end result has been good, the road to get there was frustrating. When I first called the repair line because we had water leaking from the refrigerator, the service representative told me to turn the water supply line. I did that and waited a few days for a service technician. Water continued to leak for over a week after the water supply was turned off. We mopped water constantly and siphoned it from the tray under the fridge because the poor design doesnt allow the tray to be removed for emptying. When he checked the fridge he said he needed to order the parts to repair it and it would take a few days, maybe a week. It was a day shy of two weeks. Another technician came to install the part and when he was finished he said that he put the new part on but he thought it wasnt necessary, he believed the old one was loose and that tightening it would have solved the leaking. Regardless, the leaking has stopped now and we are satisfied with that.

Bought refrigerator in 2011 started to not stay cold in first part of july 2015 called for service to look at it they came out on july 28 said it needed a compressor be back in two weeks put in compressor said it needed a coil be back in two weeks line broke where they welded it that night would not come back out until two weeks have been trying every two weeks to fix it it is now october 14,2015 and repair man finally said he could not repair it sears has offered no help since i dont have a maintenance agreement with them but i think a refrigerator should last more than four years so now i am done with sears will not shop their anymore all i can say is good luck if you do
This warranty repair and now replacement has been in process since July and required multiple unnecessary service calls. And now, finally, a replacement is scheduled for Oct.10th. I asked for the 6th or 14th.

The technician was exactly on time, courteous, fixed the problem( broken pump on Dishwasher) with the parts he had in his van.
Called about my cook stove to be repaired. Told them I dropped a jar on the top and it broke it they said it would still be covered and gave us a 800 number to call the repair man came.out and said he couldnt fix it for free and it would be $536.00 to replace just the top.
The Problem was not resolved and cost me almost $600.
