Had a male kitten and a female cat fixed there. Kira has no scar tissue on her belly, the cut was so small and they stitched like a master seamstress. No cone needed. I couldnt see where they cut my boy either. He walked like a cowboy a couple hours then passed out and was fine. Wonderful staff.

Experience was great! Gotta love Doc Snodgrass. Hes got an off the wall personality. Hes been a vet for 50 years n is close to retirement. He treats my Lil 3lb Yorkie with the best of care. IMO hes the bestest vet around. We love you Doc.

I just brought my 5 kitties in to have their teeth cleaned. The staff is so great. They are very friendly & helpful. I love Dr Shed. My one cat has a problem & she wanted to make sure I was aware of it. She actually sat down in the waiting room (I hadnt got the group in the car yet) to discuss my Arties problem. She wanted to make sure I didnt leave without talking to me. My kitties mean something to the staff. They are important. I will not take them any place else.

I was vacationing in the area when my senior dog got very ill. I called and they got me an appointment very quickly and were very kind and compassionate as she had to be put to sleep. Highly recommend!!!

I am so grateful for the team at Baxter County Animal Clinic! Rarely do I leave reviews, even more rare - positive ones. My family and I were on vacation in Calico Rock last week and my dogs got into a scuffle leading to a gaping wound on my catahoula’s beautiful face. 40 mins to the clinic, an hour before they were set to close, this team welcomed us and were confident and caring with my anxiety-prone pup. They kept him overnight and did the most amazing job with his stitches - I doubt he’ll scar at all! Thank you for taking us in and trying to keep him comfortable during a scary night away from home. I highly recommend this clinic if you’re looking for a clean facility, friendly, knowledgeable staff and genuinely caring animal people!

Saturday about midday, my brother brought in our beautiful loved by all our family, Eva. She was brought in for swollowing a ham bone. Sent home with antibiotics. Told to bring back Monday. She died at 3am this morning. We are sick. She was only 4. She loved going on hikes with my brother. She was by his side always. Our whole family is hurt this morning and are at such a loss. Shame on you for not doing more than one xray. Shame on you for not removing what we told you was stuck inside of her. She was so healthy accept for that bone!

My animals have always received excellent care there. I had an old Lab that I thought was near his time and through their excellent care he lived another 3 years. When his time did come they gave him excellent care in death. We have had to put 2 other dogs down over time. Their services and compassion at the time of these pets deaths have brought great comfort to us.

Their is not a better veterinarian service in the state. They care for our fur babies.

We went to have our bunny daisy euthanized due health issues. They were incredibly compassionate and several days after our loss and visit we received a card from them which further exemplifies their compassion. While we hope to never need to provide any care to any of our other pets the compassion they showed lets me know they will be where we go to seek that care if needed.

Its my clinic for my dogs first one i went to. My Mom turned me on to them. Have been great to my animals for 19 years. They are the Best.

Has been my Vet for all my dogs for over 18yrs. Wonderful & straight forward man, which I love.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Dr. Troutman and Dr. Snodgrass taking care of my cat, Scooter. Even though it was on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to bring him in. They continued watching him for the next couple of days. My regular vet is located in West Plains. But after experiencing such great service and witnessing how compassionate they were with my cat, I have decided to bring all 5 of my animals to this clinic from now on! Im glad that my Scoot is happy, healthy, and home now.

Dr. Snodgrass was out when I called to have my kitty looked at, but the receptionist was very kind and helpful. She apologized for the inconvenience and provided me with the phone number to another clinic that was open that day. Although I cant speak to the actual clinic, I do very much appreciate that they were more concerned about me getting help for my pet than just trying to retain a client by trying to schedule an appointment later in the week! Thank you for loving pets!

So disappointed to have to put a one star on this, unfortunately zero stars was not an option. Losing a pet is devastating, but especially when your beloved cat needed emergency care and this vets office refused to help. Their reasoning You used Walmart Vet clinic, no vet will help you. You are definitely in the wrong profession. A little background, the poor thing was inherited from a deceased parent. Your lack of compassion has us heart broken. Fortunately, another vet was more than willing to help.

Horribly rude man answered the emergency number at 10:30 at night. I called wanting to get my dog tested for parvo because he had all the symptoms. The man told us it sounded like parvo (which we already knew) then when we tried to tell him where we were from (about an hour away from Mountain home) he told us, “Well I’ve already been asleep for an hour so you better figure out what you’re doing or go to someone else.”
