Good selection of machines. Not sure why for some machines there is only one so sometimes there is a wait, especially when some people check their phones at length between sets. But everything is clean, well-maintained and plenty of cleaning stuff available

Don’t feel comfortable starting to change my life for a healthier reason when I walk in and all the employees make me feel like I don’t belong. No judgment!?! Well that’s a laugh. I don’t even see anyone working there that makes me feel motivated, like hire some people who are starting the same journey so customers feel like they have people on their level!

The trainer was very respectful and listened as I explained to him what my goals were. He created what has been (so far) extremely helpful for me to obtain what I was looking to get out of my workouts. I’ve never witnessed anyone “shaming” others that were there during my visits nor have I seen anything other than respect for those working out in close proximity to anyone else. I would highly recommend Planet Fitness of Morristown to anyone inquiring about joining. After going through four and a half years of surgeries and physical therapy always worrying about a recurring injury (It’s happened to me before) I think the plan I was given has done wonders in a short amount of time. I thank them every time I’ve completed my routine and leaving the facility. They’ve truly been a God-send for me. I hope this helps anyone trying to decide whether or not to join. I go mostly in the early morning hours (12-4) and I love the peace and quiet. And this time while I was there around 1:30-2:30, the workers were cleaning very thoroughly. It was nice to see that the cleaning process is done right.

The only problem I have is this one employee that is always so rude!! Ive been trying to go early so I dont have to see her. Other than that its a clean gym and the tanning beds are always clean.

Love this club. It’s top notch! Even before I check in I am greeted by name with a warm welcome. The trainer Bryce is an excellent trainer and is never too busy to answer any question I have. Everyone at the club is so kind and attentive! This feels like my home away from home and the staff feels like family! In fact as I write this I am looking forward to going back tomorrow!

The facility is clean. The equipment is up-to-date and properly fixed example tanning beds with lightbulbs out. Respectable and friendly staff. One of the largest planet fitness compared to Johnson city.

Planet Fitness Morristown is a great club, but it seems like their only good staff works in the mornings. I’m normally there three days a week between 6:00-8:00 before work. The last two weeks, I tried to sneak a workout in on my day off (during the day) and have been harassed by staff on both occasions. This is ridiculous, I didn’t even bother staying after dealing with the staff this week. If you are unable to workout in the early morning, check out Anytime Fitness or another Planet Fitness Club.

The best gym in Morristown by far great staff and the vibe is on point you just go do your own thing and leave or you can get a trainer if you want

Okay so my home gym is in Ocala florida. I came here to this one and I tell you there is definitely different type of things. For one the tanning bed in florida has two poles u hold onto that can move they have small fans along the whole stand up bed. I love that. The one in Morristown I feel like I can barely breathe when Im in there cause it gets so hot. There is no fans like the one in florida. Okay so yes I give this a 3 star cause of the beds they need upgraded. The staff that has been there the couple times I have been have been amazing Tho. Round 5-7ish. S0 yeah its not bad. But I also dont like the shower room has like np room in the actual shower. Like extra place to put your stuff its all the way across from the actual shower its weirdBut not bad. Just my opinion. Thanks

I enjoy going to planet fitness but tonight as I was tanning I stepped on a piece of glass apparently they do not sweep the rooms and the man didnt apologize or anything didnt even ask if I needed any aid for the cut on my foot

I’ve been to a couple gyms, but this one tops them all. They’re always super clean. There are sanitation stations all over the place, even before Corona. The locker rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. The tanning beds are always clean and I love them! No grunting policy as well, which I like. I get overwhelmed when those big roider guys are hollering because they can’t pick up the bar bell 🤣

Operating hours say open 24 hours but thats not true. Good thing I called first to check.

Amazing!!! The staff was so kind and helpful! He walked me through it and then left me with a smile, I live 30 minutes away but Ill make it a point to come back as much as possible!!!

A good variety of machines in good repair. However, I hoped to go to a club with some sense of responsibility. Mask mandate on door is meaningless. Uninforced and few adhere to it. Social distancing not even practiced by staff. Staff is polite and thoroughly patronizing having been obviously been fed official corporate responses. While the staff look at phones, members often dont clean machines when done while towel dispensers to clean machines are empty. If youre not worried about the virus, its a great club with good machines. If you are worried about it, the club is not safe.

I contacted the Planet Fitness in Morristown and was directed to a manager “Wes.” When I was explaining that my account should’ve been closed long ago he started asking me questions about my son and if I was his mother. I’m already frustrated this manager is trying to figure out who I am. Who does this? What does matter who I’m related to FIX the PROBLEM!!!! MIND YOUR BUSINESS!!!! By now, I’m extremely aggravated and further frustrated then on top that Wes says you ha e to come in and cancels and then proceeds to hang the phone up. Who does that???? I drove to Planet Fitness to cancelmy membership. “Wes” is at the front desk. I told him to cancel my account!!!!! “Wes” tells me that he’s not going to cancel my account until I calm down. After you’ve asked me who am I related to not assisting with what I need to add insult to injury ask me to calm down. Really? Then threatened to call the police, then said I was banned, how can you ban someone from a place they are there to close their account. Needless to say my account was closed after he continued to provoke the situation by going from computer to computer, then saying that the computer froze still not FIXING the PROBLEM!!!! He had the audacity to say he would do me a favor. What favor??? JUST CLOSE MY ACCOUNT!!!! With the way the world is now, you have to be careful because people like “Wes” will want you to be and act a certain way and then say “I’m going to call the police.” When all he had to do was close my account and MIND his BUSINESS!!!!!!

Great for the price. Too many people sit on their phones and dont actually use the equipment, so it messes with your workout since there are limited numbers of strength machines. Also, I see over half of people not wiping off the equipment. Other than that,the gym itself is well maintained and the staff is usually pretty nice.

Clean, crisp, cool, a fresh breeze from powerful ceiling mounted fans, plenty of open equipment, open 24 hours, and clean showers in the locker room. Oh and they have wall mounted dispensers with a powerful lemon scented body wash/shampoo in the mens shower stalls, (very handy upon first visit to exercise when youre not sure what you should bring and/or you forgot to bring your own...)

I love this gym! The staff are friendly and helpful, the gym is kept clean, and the equipment is plentiful and always working properly. They really have something for everyone and will help you attain your fitness goals.

Planet Fitness has outstanding customer service. I cannot speak enough regarding their utmost attention to ensuring a chill vibe and promoting a community geared towards a healthy life. The culture there is welcoming. Emily is a fantastic example of true customer appreciation! Wonderful environment, highly suggest!

My wife and joined back mid june and i am so glad we joined i way out of shape and over weight i was at 290+ since ive changed my eating habbits and started exercising ive dropped down to 250 and starting to show incredible results i am losing weight and toning up for me and my wife its a huge difference in our life and also in the bedroom lol but anyhow for us the difference in our lives its worth every penny i sincerely wished we had done this years ago

This gym is okay. This Morristown location is always clean when Im there, seems to be spaced out better than Knoxville as well. I do wish they had Free weight barbells instead of just the smith machine, but Im able to work around.

I love this place! Great value! Staff are always attentive and courteous. Mens locker room does need to have a little more attention. Not always the cleanest. Sometimes I see the same mess on Monday that I saw on Friday.

Nasty!!!! Im there almost everyday and Ive saw them clean 2 times in the last 6 months! This piece of a protein bar has been in the floor for 4 days!!

Great place to have physical fitness, I go everyday and always enjoy my workouts. Very cheap memberships make it worth while! $10 for the no commitment membership where you decide you can’t do it no more, they won’t charge you for canceling. And the black card $20 with benefits!

I love Planet Fitness! And I especially love this club. The staff and trainers are friendly and will go above and beyond to meet your needs. I especially love the 30 minute classes as I can do those over my lunch hour. The locker rooms and showers are wonderful! Ive been to many gyms, but this one tops them all!

Machines and locker room, for the most part, are always kept very clean. Trainers are very knowledgable about equipment and able to answer any questions you may have as well as help you to set up a plan to meet your specific goals. My only complaint is the changing rooms that are in the locker room have not been clean any one odd there times that I have been in there. I dont blame staff entirely for this, it seems like the people that use them should value their club, the workers as well as the other people that use them, to pick up their own trash instead of leaving it on the bench seat or floor.

$10/ month is a great deal for everything u get to do. Free weights, exercise machines for every part of your body and stair steppers (as if u are walking up actually stairs, similar to an esculator). Separate lockers (large & small....bring your own lock), restroom, dressing room x 3 & shower x 3. Scale is in the locker room. Staff has protein drinks for sale. When u pay more a month, then u get the spa, massage chair and something else that I cant remember at this time.

I called on the 13th of March asking to cancel my account due to growing concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic. I was told that I had to come into the facility in order to cancel my account, even though I signed-up for it online. On March 16th I arrived at the facility only to find it locked and a sign on the door stating they had closed due to the coronavirus. The next day March 17th I was billed my monthly membership. I was not billed again until June 17th and noticing the bill I assumed the facility had reopened. On June 29th I went up to cancel my account only to find that I still needed to pay an annual fee because I didn’t ask to cancel it before the 25th. I DID ask to cancel it 15 weeks earlier! An employee name Wes who refused to give me his last name said he couldn’t help me. He was extremely unprofessional in handling a client that was clearly upset with the way they were being treated. I payed to be a member of this establishment for over two years and when I want to cancel due to health concerns, I was told I had to come in person furthering the potential of putting my health in danger. To additionally validate my health concerns for wanting to cancel I had to ask the employee Wes to properly put his mask on because he had pulled it down revealing his nose when talking to me. The staff also let another member stand right next to me when assisting her, which is in violation of Tennessee executive order #35 paragraph 11.b. Which the local health department was made aware of. I’m not sure if Chris Cavalo is still a principle partner of the Morristown facility but all partners need to be aware of their employee Wes’s despicable incompetence.

One of the cleanest safest gyms I have been to the people were friendly and the amount of machines was superb. I totally loved my visit here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to in prove their health.

The equipment is great, but the locker room and the gym is always dirty and out of toilet paper and paper towels. The staff is always just standing around. They wont refill anything when you ask them. It use to be a really clean place.

The gym is okay. Staff is friendly for the most part, but theyre pricing for drinks is outrageous. They offer discounts on drinks with the black card then con you by saying only a select few are eligible. Overall its a decent fitness center if youre starting out but definitely wouldnt recommend it for long. If youre going to join dont waste the money on the black card. Its not worth it

Staff is friendly and helpful. Every time I go in, theyre deep cleaning something. (Moving machines to clean under them, etc.) Tanning bed floors could use a little attention, but if people cleaned after themselves, like theyre supposed to this wouldnt be an issue either.

Great workout facility regardless of the monthly membership. Plenty of cardio machines, ample weight machines and free weights.Ive been an avid regular fitness club member at several fitness centers in the last 40 years and this one is excellent.Dr. Steve D.

Open 24/7. Be careful on which member ship you buy. Youll be stuck paying for it for a year. Can not cancel unless you pay $60 to do so. Dont get stuck like we did. Unless your serious about it.

Great place to workout. People are very nice they mind there own business. Trainers are helpful. Very few as you might say overly muscled members so normal people dont feel intimidated. The manager at least I think shes the mgr needs to learn how to smile she seems not Happy and being a very positive person as I am it really shows.

I really like this place. I think it is a good value, however, it used to be really clean. Now it seems the trash is always overflowing, the tanning bed floors are dirty. It just doesnt seem to be as clean as it used to be and Im a little sad about it.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Most of them know me by name, which is almost unheard of with big chain fitness clubs. I’m there 5-6 times a week and I truly enjoy working out there. The only thing I would like to see is another decline bench or two.

This is a great place to workout. They have really nice equipment that can target any muscle group(s) you want to exercise. The workout areas are always clean, and the staff are great. They will help with any questions you may have about exercises or equipment use. They have lots of treadmills, bikes, and elliptical machines for cardio, as well as free weights for those like myself that dont want to use machines. For the price of a monthly membership you cant go wrong.

I Love this club and everyone who works there. They keep the gym looking good and not letting it smell like a gym. Keep up the good work.

Kavett Cooks is a great trainer. I enjoy his classes because of his expertise in physical training and his fun, encouraging personality. I also appreciate the camaraderie and support I get from working out in the small-group setting.

I have been a member since the doors opened and I also use several other locations around the area. The Morristown location by far has the friendliest staff that is always welcoming at the front desk and the trainers are always helpful even if you are not attending one of their classes. The facility is always clean very rarely are the paper towel dispensers out of stock. I have had many conversations with Andrew (manager) and Hazel (assistant manager) and both are very personable and easy to approach about any subject. I have used this facility at all times of the day and night and the results never change. I will be a member for life!

I wish I could do five stars. The machines are great, price is great BUT they need to clean this place. Bathrooms are dirty, showers have hair and bugs and the exercise floor and equipment are dirty and the machines need to have the dirt and mud vacuumed off of them.

I enjoy working out at PF. I love the hydrobeds & massage chairs. There is usually plenty of equipment to use, unless it is very busy. Most of the time, I can walk in & check in without a problem. Occasionally, you might have to wait because people are asking questions. The black card is totally worth the money. It’s very cheap compared to other places with the same amenities.

Marshall was a great help at the front desk. Answered all my questions correctly and was very informative. Great planet fitness location always very clean, great prices!

I love going here, with one exception. Most of the time it is too crowded. Another thing that is not good is in the Circuit Training area, the rules are not enforced. You will have people come over and stay on one machine for 15 or 20 minutes, which throws your whole routine out of sorts. Dont get me wrong, I like to go here, I just have to go later in the evening (9 PM or later) or early in the morning (5AM) to be able to have a relaxing workout. The rest of the time it is VERY crowded and I have to wait for machines to become available, or just skip several of the machines and hit them the next time I go.

Working at this Planet Fitness location has been amazing so far! We have both very dedicated members and employees. Coming in to either work or work out is the favorite part of my day! Very comfortable and clean environment to be in. Stop in at any time!

I loved the gym. The atmosphere. The staff. Just everything.After an illness, I went back and there were some staff changes. It was truly not the same for me. Then there is an issue with billing, contact them, and am lied to about fixing it. Decide to cancel and am laughed at for calling him on quoting the wrong amount. Moral of the story. Do not provide your banking information to a company.I did give it 2 stars because they were able to fix my issue and all were pleased.
