In our lifetime We are lucky to have that one special pet, mine was the best dog ever……. She was at my side for 14 years. She was there for me when things were great and when I was at having a bad day. She always greeted me when I came home. The Pet Pilgrimage Crematory gave me compassion and took care of my beloved dog. They were there to answer all my questions and spoke to me with such kindness. They knew I have been grieving and offered such heartwarming words. I would recommend Pet Pilgrimage for your pet when it’s time to cross over the rainbow bridge.

This year has been a tough one with the loss of two of our fur babies. Pet Pilgrimage has been such a blessing with both of our dogs. The first dog was picked up from the the veterinary hospital, which was helpful since she passed away late that night. Our second dog we brought in after we had him euthinized. Both times the compassion and care that was shown by the staff was amazing. We know our dogs were in great hands, and we were also comforted through all our tears. I highly recommend Pet Pilgrimage, and can firmly assure you they will take care of your needs.

I’ve never met a more compassionate staff. Unfortunately we have dealt with four pet losses in the past few years. Each one of them was taken care of by pet pilgrimage. So let’s just say I’ve gotten to know everyone over there pretty well. Of course they were extremely compassionate about us losing our 12 year old dog. But when I walked in with a guinea pig to my surprise they were just as compassionate. They didn’t make me feel silly for mourning the loss of a rodent. I will never forget their kindness.

From the moment I called them to bring my sweet boy for their services they were amazing and caring. I had always used the vet services for my cremations and when I saw where they were sending them and the sheer lack of caring the other company had for my fur babies I knew I could never bring my babies there again. Pet Pilgrimage was amazing. We had to say good bye to our beloved Velma. She hated car rides and was in so much pain I didn’t have the heart to put her in the car for that last time. Pet Pilgrimage helped us say goodbye and took care of Velma until they returned her to us. We miss her every day but we know that we did the right thing for her. I had a super hard time letting my Brodie girl go. She passed away in her sleep in the middle of the night. Icalled a couple places, and they wanted to charge an extra 100$ to come in at night. This place did not, they where very professional, and treated me so kindly during this ruff time. Also they gave me a folder with a bunch of different things, to remember my sweet girl. I would 100% use this place in the future, oh they also texted me about a month later checking in on me to make sure I was ok. That was above an beyond, very sweet people.

I recently lost my beloved Rottweiler. They are available 24 hours a day. They will come to pick up your deceased Pet. They will come to your home or a veterinarian if you are there. They treat your pet just as carefully as their human customers. They are right behind the Cabin - Cook Funeral Home. There is good parking. I had her cremated. They put together a nice bag of personal items for me to that they thought I would want to have and keep. The price for the creation of a 120 lb dog was very reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone that has a beloved pet.

Pet Pilgrimage was there for me with the loss of my beloved dog, CiCi. They were so compassionate and handled the cremation quickly. I had CiCis remains back the next day. We are so very lucky to have had the use of the services of Pet Pilgrimage after our beloved 20 year old Tuxedo kitty girl furbaby passed away at home on Sunday May 3rd. They came and gently and lovingly picked her up at home and as we were having her cremated with the urn then we were able to pick up her ashes on Monday and bring her home in a beautiful wooden urn. I delivered my pet to them on a Saturday and everything was fine. I prepaid and they explained theyd likely give me a call Monday to pick him up. I never heard back and called Wednesday to find out what happened. Keith sounded sorry and confused and told me theyd call me back once they knew what had happened. An hour and a half later I called again and asked if they lost my cat or were just now taking care of him and Becky actually laughed at me. Then she claimed she did call me earlier (she didnt) and it wasnt her fault because sometimes maybe the number was wrong or people go out of town (!?). I wouldnt trust a loved pet to this place and I certainly wont trust their parent company, Cavin & Cook with any person I loved. They truly made a hard time absolutely terrible.

Sarah at the Mocksville location took care of us and Roscoe with the utmost care and empathy. Roscoe unfortunately was hit by a train during the week. We found him Friday evening and took him to Pet Pilgrimage Saturday. We received his cremains the next day with the hand carved wooden urn, his cremation paper work and Roscoes clay footprint. Thank you to Sarah, Angus and the rest of the staff for taking such good care of Roscoe!

I never wanted to need Pet Pilgrimage. I wanted my baby boy to live forever. But after 16 years, his little body gave out. Leslie at Pet Pilgrimage was absolutely wonderful. She helped me through such a difficult time and showed me all of the wonderful ways I could memorialize my sweet ol boy. I can’t say enough nice things about Leslie and Pet Pilgrimage in Mooresville, NC. This was a very sad time for our family in losing our 9-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Molly. I was referred to them by a family member and it made this really difficult time a little easier. Everyone from Andrew, our sweet Molly’s chauffeur to the ladies in the office treated us with compassion and dignity in caring for the remains of our dog. I’m so very thankful for their services. I have never met nicer people then the people who work here, by far the most understanding and kindest people I have ever dealt with. They make sure you have time to deal with and spend time with your beloved pet before they take them away, they comfort you and offer support groups. They recognize your name and make sure its completely personal the whole time.I have never felt comfortable grieving in front of anyone through the loss of my human family members but the staff here are people I can ugly cry in front of. Let me just start by saying that if it weren’t for Pet Pilgrimage I don’t know how I would have gotten through the loss of my fur babies. We first used them July 4th weekend 2017 when we lost our 17year old yorkie. Pet pilgrimage stayed open late so that I could get my baby back home same day. Fast forward almost exactly 1 year later and we suddenly lost our 12 year old pitbull pointer mix about 1am. They not only have a 24 hour service were you actually get to speak to someone, they came out at 2:00am and picked our baby up, so that her two other siblings, mommy and daddy could start our grieving process. They are so very respectful in the way that they handle matters. They placed her on a gurney, strapped her in tight, and placed a beautiful blanket over her that had dogs in what looked like heaven. We were given the opportunity to respectfully say our goodbyes. Even though it was now 2:30am they were in no rush to leave, and were completely respectful and understanding. Everything is handled onsite so the very next day we went to pick up our baby girl. She was placed in a beautifully engraved wooden box, with a mold of her paw print (that is forever kept on file), a copy of the rainbow bridge poem, a locket of her hair, small seeded pad to plant something in remembrance of her, among other helpful pamphlets for grief, and grief groups if needed. The people that work at Pet Pilgrimage are truly angels placed here to help comfort us in a time of need. Everyone is so very sweet and always ready to lend a ear to a grieving family. I also really love that they have mascot dogs onsite that were local rescues. In my personal experiences having the rescues there to pet and hold helped me have a since of peace. I would highly recommend Pet Pilgrimage to anyone I know, they are truly the very best!!

Pet Pilgrimage is phenomenal. I cannot say enough great things about everyone at Pet Pilgrimage. They came to get our Pee Dee after he said goodbye to us. Compassionate and caring, they offered the best service we could ask for in a difficult time. I can honestly say that they made this time easier for us.We brought our kids to see Pee Dee at their location. This was their suggestion when I said I wanted closure for the kids (who were at preschool at the time). They had him partially covered with an angel blanket. He looked so peaceful. We were able to take our time, talk with the kids...they even had a pet grief workbook and crayons for them. Their staff was great with us and the kids.The cremation was done quickly, and we had him back in just over 24 hours. These people truly love pets and their owners.

We just lost our very dear Lola. We rescued her when she was 11 months old. She chose us and we had her for 17 years. She was the old momma of the house hold and we miss her tremendously. Leslie helped us more then she will ever know. We didn’t want to be away from Lola, we didn’t want to leave her, but I can sense good people and I knew my girl was in good hands. Leslie helped our hearts feel a little less heavy. Almost as if, Lola, brought us together because she knew we needed her. Thank you. They were absolutely wonderful. Andrew was very caring and compassionate. They gave me as much time as I needed to spend with my kitty before I left her. I received my kittys ashes the very next day along with a mold of her paw prints, a clipping of her fur and a beautiful card offering condolences. They were all very nice. I cant say enough good things about Pet Pilgrimage. They are more than accommodating and made our grieving experience much better. We had a homeless couples dog cremated there along with our very own personal cat Roger. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were so helpful during the whole experience. I was able to meet someone after hours in both instances which was very late to delivery my loved furkid. We didnt have to wait weeks to get our baby back, was only 1 day or so if that. They were extremely patient and very sympathetic to both my husband and myself. I also love the whole atmosphere there. I tell everyone its truly a funeral home for your pets. Very calming and soothing place. I would recommend them to everyone I know. They are 5-star in my book for sure!

Im so thankful for the staff at Pet Pilgrimage. Not only were they able to pick up and transport my dear dog after she passed (she was large and they have a stretcher), when we came to pick up her ashes, which I expected would be a short and difficult errand, the lady who greeted us sat down and shared memories and really helped us work through our dogs passing in a way that we didnt know was even needed or possible.I am so glad that our veterinarian recommended Pet Pilgrimmage to us. When my guinea pig died in a freak accident, I was heartbroken. I took Stella in yesterday and picked her up today. I was very amazed at the care and detail put into the package that comes with the price. Other places want to charge three times as much and put the ashes into a complimentary tin can. Luckily I found this place and my baby is in a wooden hand carved box. I also have her paw prints and other items that are comforting. I highly recommend this place. I do however hope I dont have to come back for a long time.

I cant tell you how great these people are. We lost 2 of our Mastiffs in one weekend. They went above and beyond to get my Jax to monroe for necrospy and picked him back up. Beautiful sunset came to our home Saturday November 11th 2017 my kids were too heart broken and thought it was easier to have vet mobile bring him there.I never got a call about our beloved pet and they played guessing game spelled his name wrong paw print could have been better and he had surgery 4 years ago and his plates and pins are not in his ashes I expected a call especially since beautiful sunset didnt take my babies info so now everyone is more heart broken then ever :(.
