Just recently I remember saying to myself “This isn’t for me. I am not fulfilling my purpose.” That was me reflecting on my current job, which was a good paying job, but I whole heartedly felt as though I wasn’t doing myself any justice there. Spherion was horrible to me and very disrespectful. Everyday I was accused of things that I didnt have any clue about. I was lied on, humiliated, etc. The head boss and co company I worked for were very unprofessional and treated me differently because of sex and race. This company is not understanding of anything you are going through. Please when you apply make sure you dont have kids, no medical problems or anything.

I was struggling with finding a job and had been without one for over three weeks, as a single mother, that was a tough pill to swallow. I decided that even if it meant an hour commute one way every day, I would find a job in the Selma or Montgomery area. I was really struggling finding something making above minimum wage in Selma and decided I wanted to search for things in Montgomery. Montgomery is a lot bigger than Selma and I honestly did not know where to even begin. Although I had never worked through a staffing agency before and was quite nervous about it, I called Erika at Spherion. She sent assessment tests to me and after I completed those she called me in for an interview. Although the interview seemed a little lengthy than the normal, she really took the time to get to know me as a person and was able to find the perfect fit for me as well as the employer.
