I think they do a terrific job. I read some other reviews and don’t really feel the same way, although everyone is entitled to their opinion and all of us have different experiences, but as far as my experience with Express is concerned, they constantly tried to help me with job openings. Catered to my interests, and seemed genuinely interested in matching me with the right job as well. So I’m going to give them 5 stars, and it’s because I really don’t know what more you’d expect from a temp agency. Maybe people expect things to happen faster than what’s possible. I get that, but patience is usually required when it comes to finding a decent job. So I can’t knock them for anything at all really. I would recommend them to others, and I would definitely work with them again in the future, if needed. Great company and service.

I guess I should have read the reviews on this place first because they are no better than the Express in Birmingham. First off, they never like to answer their phones nor respond to emails. I dealt with Sarah (who I’m assuming is the worse recruiters they have!) and she literally told me “I didn’t think that email needed a response to it,” After i sent her a few emails trying to get some form of contact back. Why would you say that?! At least respond acknowledging that you saw it because the receptionist doesn’t believe in answering the phone! Also, they WILL try to downplay your resume regardless of experience or if you have degrees. They try to put you in an irrelevant job to your current experience or try to give you an $8-$10 job! Lord forbid you ask for a higher pay because then they definitely can’t help you and will come up with some bull like “we’ll have to discuss your resume with the manager and see what will best fit you.” They are hard to communicate with and once I told Sarah what I was trying to do or look for she sent me a text for other job agencies and never contacted me again! By phone nor email! Express, do not give me this cookie cutter response saying Sarah is one of your best recruiters because obviously that’s a lie! You all are use to dealing with people who just walk in the door who aren’t dressed for interviews (and i have witnessed this on my way out the door!) and act like they never had any home training so you treat everyone who comes in the door like that! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR AN ACTUAL JOB/CAREER!

This office is disgusting. The floors are full of dirt. The front area looks like it hasnt been swept or mopped in months. The staff are so rude. They sit behind a computer and ask you questions and never even look at you. The most unprofessional place I have ever been in. Other applicants are there and look like they are wearing pajamas. This staffing agency should be shut down. Sarah is the worst recruiter I have ever spoken to.

Montgomery office never answer only through text message. I am a qualified electrician with a degree from out of town and I have been here for months the only jobs they have offered me was a $7.25 job and a $9hr job that only works 1 or 2 days how do they expect for people to live off of that. I am very disappointed and its not right

Unfortunately, if youre looking for a real job or a starter job this temp service is not the one for anyone. Poor customer services, will downplay your resume/work experience. After calling corporate they are so underhanded, they will call back to the location so that they can call you and then send threatening emails. Instead of owning up to their own mistakes or correcting their mistakes. Very and professional!!! NOT..

This company is very suspicious and unprofessional. They never answer the phone and ask that you text them. I felt so uneasy after giving them all of my personal information in regards to employment and never hearing from them again. The recruiters dont even answer emails. Stay away!! Stick with a more experienced staffing company.

Great Company to Work for been with for almost 2 year

Its no surprise Montgomery has a HORRIBLE job market. the city itself is ran off temp agencies. This just has to be one of the many in that boring city. I came to them desperate for a job so i had to take what I could get even though I have a college degree. I was put at ASK, a ghetto call center where there were multiple fights for 8.00 an hr, yes it was below my means but I had to take it. I never had issues with them but I do think they could at least TRY to get better contracts. Someone who has a college degree shouldnt be working with people that barely graduated highschool. Some people have qualifications to work in that very office !

Went in the week before Thanksgiving, filled out paperwork, took the tests for the job I was told would be starting the week after the holidays and even called after the holiday. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - NO JOB NO CALL NOTHING.

Unprofessional!! What kind of temp service tell a person they have a interview on a certain day and to call them back for a interview time, then when you call back they tell you something came up with interviews and that if someone shows up or cancel they will give you a call. Youve been getting the run around for a whole year. Same person, same position. I am trying to go over and speak to the owner. Had my hopes up, nobody wants to hear good news and then bad news afterwards especially concerning a job. You go in and do paperwork and pass all your assessments for NOTHING! Im convinced they hire who they want to hire. I was getting ready for the interview, went and bought an interview attire for NOTHING. I prayed for NOTHING.

I really wish I had read the reviews when before I set anything up. Chelsey (the person that I interviewed with) lied about calling back and following up with me. Unprofessional does not even begin to describe them.

They are very helpful and resourceful and they keep an eye on you to make sure youre treated fairly with the employers they send you to.
