I was referred to Johnny’s Garage by a good friend, and with Johnny being a uhaul dealer I thought this would work out great. Giving any business to Johnny’s garage would be a big mistake! He is not honest with customers about the parts he uses. He overcharges for the services he provides.

I should have read the reviews before tsking my car there. He .Kept my car for 4 weeks. When I took my car there I needed a oil leak fixed. I called once a week to check on the status of my car. He didnt check it until the 3rd week. He said i needed a engine. The lady at the front desk is clueless. She was like he said he will check it again and call you in a day or two. They called in two days Your car is ready The total is 687 you needed a starter he put two quarts of oil and some gas. I said did he fix the oil leak. Then Johnny gets the phone you have a small leak but you locked the starter up. Long story short. He didnt fix what was suspose to be fixed. Car was on Empty. And he charged 20 for gas. Very very unhappy with the service. Runnnnnnn To another mechanic before coming here please. I believe in supporting black owned. But he is not fair or professional

Fixed my car not even 3 days later my car cut off again, doing the same thing it did before he fixed it the first time, charged me again!!! WORSE MECHANIC EVER! Will never recommend anyone here. First time he fixed it I authorized my vechicle to be fixed, the second time I only asked him to tow it, he took it to his shop and so called fixed it and when I ask for my car to be towed to the Chevy dealer he had already took it upon him self to service it without my permission. I was clearly out of $1200 dealing with this owner, very very rude asked me to leave and called the police on me. He takes advantage of people, Im sure he has been sued on multiple occasions. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER LOCATION TO DO BUSINESS!

The owner was absurdly rude!!!! He had no concept of customer service. His staff was inefficient and the staff member who brought our U-Haul truck around for us didnt even know how to open the back door. The truck was EMPTY OF GAS and didnt have the packing blankets! The attendant said to bring it back empty like we got it, but 2 hrs. later there was a different office worker there. The owner hit us with a $80 fee for the 1/4 tank he claimed was in it. He wouldnt even compare odometer readings to see that wed only driven the truck a few miles and thus didnt use up any gas. He didnt call the attendant on duty 2 hrs. earlier and said he didnt want to discuss it and threatened to call the cops if we didnt leave immediately!

I bought a 1994 ford ranger from johhny for 2800 he told me that alot of money was put in the truck. Its was a clean truck but 2 weeks later the motor locked up. I havent had it a month. I went backto talk to him. He played dumb and said I didnt sell you the vehicle my name is not on the bill of sale. He was rude told me to leave. Hes integrity as business owner was awful. Didnt even try to work with me on replacing the motor. I tell everyone to stay clear of hes business.

The most unprofessional business ever!!!!! My car was towed to his shop, because it stopped on me. I took it there because he had previously replaced a starter for me in 2013. No problems at all back then, because I purchased my own part. This go round, not so much......He failed to call and let me know what was officially wrong with my car.. I waited two days for a diagnosis, and all I get is a call telling me what I owe because the car was fixed. I owed in excess of $1,000....I was very shocked and upset... Not because of the price, but he basically didnt give me any option on whether or not I wanted to still let him fix it, or if I could even afford that amount. I am a single mother and he took advantage of the situation big time. Well heres the best part.... HE SCREWED MY CAR ALL THE WAY UP!!! I MEAN MAJORLY!! it doesnt drive properly, it smokes, it jerks.... I took it back to him, and he politely said What do you want me to do about it mam? ummmmm really MR?? Needless to say we lost $1,000 with a mechanic who did nothing but get over on me. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is not business minded and definitely doesnt know anything about customer service etiquette! so much for patronizing black owned businesses..... That is overated! Id rather go where they treat the customer right, and where they properly repair vehicles.... NO SHADE HERE,JUST THE TRUTH!!! and most of the times, truth hurts!!
