I only trust this establishment with all my vehicles. They are honest, friendly and always provide details of the work or problems found. I really don’t know any other company that sends the data to you via text to let you view your estimate and approve or disapprove the repairs prior to performing the work. It was quite evident he understands how to deliver customer service, is extremely knowledgeable about the tire and auto service business, and really cares.George (manager) was fantastic in getting the work coordinated. In fact, when he saw me drive in, I could see him start pulling my tires. Duke was great installing the tires to perfection. Chris offered a lot of (free) advice on how to take care of some other issues on my car.It is tough to find people that are this good and trustworthy. Currently standing in the store being put on a time out by the General manager jerad battles who is beyond rude and no where near understanding to customers his store manager Brandon smith is also rude!!! Maybe it’s a black thing don’t take my money and be rude and disrespectful because if I waved my have writhing 3 feet of ur face you would think I was this angry black womanI highly recommend that no one uses this company especially the location on Atlanta highway in Montgomery

I had a terrible experience. Parts came late. Management did not own up to damage caused to my vehicle while it was in their care. They claimed they replaced a part, never did.

Firstly very frustrated over waiting for 5 hours and in past I remember waiting for over 7 hours even more, second just because you have put the notice paper at reception doesnt mean everyone will read it saying for every car that gets pulled in will be charged $70 for diagnosis- Tell your customers about that before, third been there multiple times to fix head light always gets blown out in a week, havent fixed that in last whole year but before that I had visited them for at least 3 to 4 times, recently I went there to fix my car window, had to change regulator in window, took 1 and half hour just to tell me I need to change my regulator and it will be $300 Which is obviously too much. I can change my whole window still wont be $300😒 and when I told them okay thats too much I dont want to do they gave bill of $80 for diagnosis, seriously ya all charging too much, never coming again. Its been very very bad experience with ya all. Even if my car breaks down in front of you I will get my car towed and go somewhere else. :(

Our car broke down on the way down for vacation. Left it here for a week, made it maybe a block away from the shop and the same problem started happening again that we were experiencing before. They claimed they test drove it but we blew a ton of cash to be stuck in Alabama 12 hours away from home. Huge waste of our time and money.

When my car broke down (coolant leaking out in two places) I was very nervous because last summer I went through about TEN Chevrolet dealerships with car issues that were never fixed. Every time I brought it to the dealership it’d be “fixed” only to have The same or a more expensive issue later (oil leaks, broken serpentine belt, more oil leaks, issues with the camshaft and cover, etc etc) and I am so AMAZED that this place fixed my issue immediately and at a way better and more fair price than the dealerships were quoting me! When the dealerships were quoting me 1-2 weeks this place had it fixed the next day. It was honestly a great experience and I have now had my car for about 2 months with NO issues! I’m amazed! Last summer my car broke down at least once a week and I spent the whole summer fixing it and now it’s running great! If it’s not already obvious, I would highly recommend them!!

I purchased tires from here for my Jeep last year. They ordered what I wanted and had them the next day. I have been going in for tire rotation and alignments ever since. Today I sent my son for the usual, and was informed I needed additional work. They did what was needed and had me ready today. They stayed a little past closing. I dont remember the guys name who I was speaking with, Jared maybe? but he was nice and pleasant. Thanks yall! See yah next rotation.

Great Customer service as always. This is the only place I go to for my tires. I purchase my tires there and get them rotated and balanced there also. (When you purchase a set from them they offer free rotation and balance). But the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also do more than tires. They have an ase certified mechanic on staff. I had a cracked radiator and they got me fixed up with that also!!!

I have been here twice and both times that Ive been here I have been greeted by the owner Jared with a very friendly warm welcome and they performed great service to my wifes car. They were able to give a quick Diagnostic and also provide a accurate projection of the cost and then they performed timely work as well. I felt like they were very reasonably priced for the work that was performed on my vehicle. I feel as if I was very well taken care of and this is the only mechanic that I would recommend in the Montgomery area. They also give military discounts which is a huge Plus for a veteran such as myself.

Tire City has always taken excellent care of both my car and my husbands car. Both of our cars are older and theyve helped us to keep them running for as reasonably as they could. Theyve always been upfront about costs with us and make sure to call us if anything is going to change. Weve never had an unpleasant experience here. We plan to keep using Tire City as long as were in Montgomery and theyre open.

The tire didnt last long. Would not replace.That was not the last time you saw me. I came back because I was having a problem with the front right tire. That rim was not bent. I was in your place in May of 2018 after continuing to have to put air in that tire. That tire went completely flat after the car had not been driven in a few days. If something was wrong with the tire, does not matter whether it was rotated or not. The problem would still exist.

Tire City is definitely female friendly. I am so appreciative of the kind and respectful way I am treated there. I have bought tires and had car repairs done, and the work is always top notch.

Spent nearly $1000 in there on new tires and alignment in a week, not to mention all of the money our family has spent in this place in the last year! Went today for a routine oil change. We are a military family and when I mentioned the military discount that I was told previously that we would get, the man not only told me no, he mocked me in front of the entire store and made a joke of it. Terrible customer service and will never go back again. If you want good service and someone that cares about you and your business, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Rode over to Performance automotive and they were way cheaper anyways! Shouldve just came here in the first place! Wasted time and money.

My family and I live about an hour and a half from Montgomery. We were in town for our little ones doctors appointments when our Tahoe broke down. As I frantically searched for a way to get home or a nearby mechanic, we ran across Tire City via google. They had good reviews and seemed to be locally owned, so we gave it shot, praying not to get scammed. Sure enough, we were greeted with friendly service, a knowledgeable owner, and an honest service team. When I was told that one of two issues was likely, Jared gave me the cost for the more expensive of the two, so Id have a good idea what to expect. After having his tech look at it, the problem was actually the lesser of the two and cost us about $150 less than anticipated. I appreciate their honesty and integrity, and of course their patience with two very loud children in the waiting room. I highly recommend Jared and his team at Tire City and Automotive Service! Tire City was quick and efficient at fixing my tire and showed me the cause. I would think that since I bought those tires there that I would have received a lower bill on a tire repair. $25 seems a bit much to me.

Called for a quote on 2 heaters hoses, as the are completely leaking and of course causing the car to overheat. The moron answering the phone advised me to drive it by so they could take a look so they can see what needs to be fixed.So I told him the heater hoses and two of the clamps need to be replaced, the car ISN’T safe to drive! He then tells me to have it towed to them and they can give a QUOTE. Why say you can quote by phone or email if you can’t! Who would pay to have something transported if you can’t even provide a quote.

I give this place a 5 star rating. I came in there a few weeks back and needed my tire repaired and fixed. Mr. Mack the auto tech, had to take my car on a test drive and found some things wrong with while driving. He gave me some recommendations and I had them fixed and bought some new tires. I didnt feel like i was being pushed into anything as other car places try to do.He showed great customer service, was very respectable and knowledgeable . When I need more things done to my car in the future, I will definitely always be coming to Tire City and will recommend them to anyone from now on.Just ask for Mr.Mack hes the best! Happy customer

I just left having a wonderful experience. I went in for what I thought was an issue but turns out, It wasnt anything really wrong! They couldve pretended to do something and charged me anyway, like most shops would have, but they didnt . From now on, when I do have car issues, this will be a top choice .

ATTN: Potential customers please read full review. I went in for a front end alignment $69 I also asked the guy if he could look at the upper ball joint passenger side they seemed to be loose . He test drove my truck for 5 min and had my truck on the rack for 5 min. total time of 10-15 min. I am assuming the owner or the shop manager was the person i was dealing with . After he looked at my truck he typed up a quote the total was 1,100.00. that included parts and labor front end alignment and new ball joints.I explained to the guy i was dealing with I have 2 babies at home and this price was not in our price range . He told me i could buy my own parts and they would charge me almost 800.00 dollars just for labor . to sum it up i declined the work due to the over pricing . I asked for my keys back they refused to give me my keys back . He then told me I owed 32 dollars for a diagnostic fee. I told the guy i was not paying any sort of fee, not only was i not informed of this before they put my truck on the rack but he only looked at my truck for 10min. I told the guy i do not agree with the way he handled business I should have been informed of these procedures up front or they should have a adequate or large enough sign on the front desk explaining the policies . I then asked for my keys again telling them my wallet was in the truck . They refused again to give me my keys, He said I can get your wallet for you I responded with You are not touching my personal belongings my wallet is in a personal pack he then told the receptionist to give me my keys .They couldnt find my keys ? The guy who drove my truck around left my keys in the ignition ? I walked out to my truck obtained the money and paid the 32.00 & told them to have a blessed day. After leaving i called 3 other shops around town to compare the price, i was quoted between $500-$786. Not only was i disrespected in front of other customer, not informed of policies up front, I was quoted a outrageous price. The receptionist even said the price was high I understand a company can charge and do business to there liking but inform your customers upfront of policies .for example this is how the situation should have went Sir just to inform you of our policies we do charge a $32 diagnostics fee . If you choose to have the work done we will apply this price towards your total . If not we do charge $32 dollars UP FRONT I have never argued or written a review for any business. I did tell the guy that i was dealing with exactly how i felt and how awful he is running business treating people this way .I have no problem with a companies policies, but inform me of your policies . I explained to the owner/manger we are on a single income with two babies I do not have $32 dollars for a fee i was not informed of. He then proceed to ask me if i dont have money to pay now how did i plan on paying for the alignment ? I explained to him my parents were going to come down and pay them for the alignment after the work was completed This was very embarrassing having to explain this . I wasnt trying to give him a sob story but we only had $40 dollars to last us another week for baby food.Now we have $8. I understand everyone has A STORY, a compliant & a problem . But the service and experience i went through today is exactly what is wrong with this world and the people in it . I did not use any of this businesses resources, extended time or cost them money. I would never refer anyone to this organization and would expect them to not stay in business much longer if they treat potential customers this way.I am fairly mechanically inclined if i was to obtain and purchase the parts myself it would cost me no more than $200. So after looking at the situation this way it will cost them at most $200.00 for parts possibly less if they have some sort of deal with a local parts store they are charging me around $900 labor . This is probably a 3-4 hour job .Words can not express my experience here, I run a business on a daily bases THIS IS NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS .......

I know a bit about cars and was curious about these guys because a friend of mine recommended them. I needed two front CV axials replaced for a 2000 Honda accord. I knew what I wanted and explained to them exactly what was wrong. They wanted to look at the car to double check which I gave them the keys (never mentioning there was a diagnostic fee which I had to ask about after the fact).They charge fairly standard rates of about $90-100 dollars/hour and do seem to know about cars.If you are willing to pay standard rates for a decent job then, I guess theyre okay. I really did not like them putting my car on a lift just to look at it without doing anything and hitting me up for $50 buck. The diagnostic fee is separate and does not apply towards any work. After reading some of the reviews, this seems to be a common problem with this place. They need to inform the customer of the diagnostic fee before accepting the vehicle.

Ive been to Tire City 3 times now and they have been great. The prices are good they never take too long and do a great job. My Dad goes here and was the one who reccomended it to me.

Tire City has just become my favorite repair shop for my 2005 Nissan Murano. The staff was great and very knowledgeable. The manager (Jared ) kept me informed and addressed all of my concerns.

Super friendly and honest service! I had a tire blow out and needed to have it replaced. They could have easily told me I needed to get 4 new tires, but they told me honestly that I only needed 2 as my old ones had plenty of tread. They were also able to fix my A/C which I had previously taken to another mechanic that had charged me twice and still been unable to fix it. I was talking to regulars in the waiting room and heard nothing but good things. Super friendly and would highly recommend them!

These are our go-to guys for work on our Ford (Explorer Sport), its old, very high mileage and at that stage were bits randomly pop. They have always taken good care of us, timely repairs and fair costs. Best thing I could say about them is I would send my Mother to them and not worry about anything at all.

I took my brother who was visiting there to have the tires on his 1975 Classic Convertible Pontiac Grandville balanced, and windshield wipers replaced. They didnt open until 7:30 am and we were there at 6:45 am so that we could be first . My brother was very pleased with the service.

Ive been a customer of Jarrods for years. His staff have always been courteous, professional, and get the job right the first time. Theres no other shop anywhere that I would entrust with my vehicles maintenance.

ATTENTION READ THIS BEFORE GOINGWent in there for a fuel filter change. Not only did they charge more than Audi charges but I was not informed of the price. But the main story begins few days after repair. I started smelling gas and because my car is an Audi they are prone to problems and leaks. To my surprise however the fuel smell was coming from where the fuel filter is located. Two days later the car was leaking oil faster than I could refuel it. I had to get a tow truck to tow my car into their shop. They said they would see what was causing it and 5 min later he came and gave me an estimate of 230 dollars for a fuel line. Got my car towed to pep boys and made them look into the matter. They took me in the shop and showed me how repair person ripped the pipe and then ductaped it so that it wouldnt leak. Honestly if a duck tape could hold that fuel linemen you wouldnt need a damn expensive fuel line. Once I got my lawyer involved they said they would fix the problem for free. So when the repair was done I went to go pick up my vehicle. The cashier would not give me the keys until I paid 125 for the fuel line. First I went in for a fuel filter change and they messed up the damn line and tore it. Second I had to pay for something their workers have caused. After getting the cops involved and suing them for competency. I finally got my car after 2 weeks. Never will I ever go in that shop again. And I do not recommend anyone to go in that shop.

Ive been bringing my vehicles to Tire City for about 6 years. The first 5 years have been great but I also only did tires, brakes, and oil changes. I trusted Jared and his team so I figured I would take my vehicle to them for minor repairs. Unfortunately, the last three visits left me unhappy because I have consistently been told that the car would be fixed by taking care of xyz and then once the repair is complete, they call and say it needs xyz to really be fixed. This last time after being told information that did not add up, I was told by Jared, the owner, not to bring my vehicle back. After making recommendations to friends and family for years, Ill make sure to never make that mistake again!

Hubby liked them vs pepboys. 1 tire new for 17 112.00 vs 150 some at pepboys.

Only reason I gave this low review is because they always do good work on my car. I was hearing a noise in car when I turned to left and took it in and they drove my car and was back in 5 mins and told me nothing was wrong and charged me 60 bucks. Lol and 60 bucks to tell me nothing was wrong after all the business I do with these guys

I read some of the negative reviews about Tire City and I dont understand why those patrons were treated that way. In my case, my wife took her 2000 Ford Escape in because she heard brake noise when backing up, she heard an intermittent noise when turning. We took the vehicle in for repair and to my pleasant surprise they did not find anything wrong with the power steering or brakes other than excessive brake dust. They charged approx $40.00 to clean the brakes which I think is more than fair. I think a dishonest establishment would have thrown in a few phony steering repair charges and additional diagnostic fees. In my experience Tire City is fair, honest and reputable. Been there as a new and last new customer. Was told when I arrived that that The tire was in stock - after waiting 2 hours I was told that the tire was on the way that it was around the corner- after another thirty minutes still no tire - the owner told me that he was short handed and that it was the first he heard of it - as he was there all the time - I told him the I wanted to leave - then he advised me that he didn’t want my business as he was the owner and he could make a statement to me like that. Just beware folks !!!!!!

February 28th 2019Jerrod and his team, still go above and beyond the normal to be of help. These are a great group of mechanics, who take pride in a job well done. The overall appearance of the place is gender friendly. No half naked ladies on calendars. Nothing to froufrou either.Update on my review. Jarred and his team, George, and Pops ( only names I can remember ) are STILL my mechanics of choice. Their great! They dont tack on unnecessary charges, and repairs you dont need.Theyve saved me hundreds of dollars.They work with you any way they can, timelines, suggest ways to pay for certain expenses, help you figure out what can wait, and what cant. I trust them enough and I value their input highly. They warranty their labor, thats right their labor for a year. Parts also have warranties. The guys and ladies are very polite, and helpful I will continue to use these guys. They have a TV, a Keureg coffee maker, and bottled water. Clean restroom.

I called about a concern I had from my recent oil change. I dialed their number in my driveway and was left on hold through the time I walked in the shop 20+ minutes later. I walked in to find one guy eating his breakfast and the other answering a telephone ring that still wasnt my call that was STILL on hold. Even after the inconvenience, my concerns were not prioritized, and my time was wasted by receiving information I could have gotten over the phone. This is the last straw with them, and I will not spend my money here again.

Ive been to this location numerous times for tires. At first it was started off great then I noticed Ive had to come back repeatly for the same set of tires Im sure there really pickpocketing for money. Warranty doesnt mean nothing to these guys. My suggestion choose Walmart auto center.

These guys seriously went above and beyond for me today. I had a doctors appointment to be at and because my car wasnt quite finished they went out of their way and arranged for me to get to/from while they finished up. The repairs I needed were incredibly reasonably priced too. I highly recommend this shop for any and all vehicle repairs/matainance.Side note: Ladies, I know it really sucks to go to a shop by yourself because a lot of the time they try and take advantage of you because they assume you dont know enough about cars and/or they hit on you... YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT HERE!! At all. Ever. My mom and I have both been here numerous times and have always been treated with the upmost respect. Its awesome.

Just bought a new set of tires here. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT even consider them for your new tires. I will chronicle my long reason for my dissatisfaction but just beware that their customer service sucks and they will try to upsell you and add extra work. They do a free alignment check simply to scare you into do a front end alignment and incurring extra charges.I was very busy this week when I needed tires and didnt have time to research/shop around. The ONLY way to get the best price is to sit down and call multiple tire stores and get out the door prices on the exact tire. They will want to give you a good deal by phone to get you into their store and buy. When you go in cold, they have you over a barrel. Even shopping on the internet is not helpful because so-called quotes have so many asterisks and disclaimers they can work around them when you are at the sales counter. Remember, it is a SALES counter and they try to sell you instead of serve you.At this tire store, I had an online quote that was a decent price. Immediately, the price jumped up in the shop because of the TPMS fees that were described on the same row as the non-TPMS fee but it made it look like it was included but nope! They also convinced me to get a better tire because it was only $3 more per tire. In the end, this $3 per tire ended up being over $30 more total. Only time will tell if the tire is better or not. After installing my tires, I got the expected call that my vehicle was out of alignment thanks to their free alignment check. Also, my vehicle was so bad out of alignment (allegedly) that they needed to order a kit to fix it and it would be $200 more than the typical alignment fee. I obviously did not elect to receive this shafting.When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the technician was standing at the side door recording my vehicle information. He was smoking a cigarette with the door open and now my vehicle smells of cigarette smoke. There were no seat covers or floor covers used to protect my vehicle as I had seen done at other places. I walked by the truck and noticed that my spare (which they removed to do the tire work) was lying in the bed of my truck. I specifically asked the sales person to have my best tire from the old set onto my spare rim because my spare was getting old. I was told they would do so. The old spare tire remained on my spare rim despite this request. I asked the technician if they planned to put the spare tire back where it is stored and he just said if you want me to. After paying for my tires and service, I went outside and the technician had backed my truck up to the service bay and had attempted to use the tools from a different vehicle inside the shop to return my spare tire. It was an unsuccessful attempt and the technician asked me if I had my tools in the truck. He offered to return the tire but I was so sick of this place that I told him not to bother and I would do the work he should have already completed.I did not complain to the sales person or the technican because I had my new tires and needed to get to my next appointment. I didnt have time to argue with them and I also felt like they didnt care enough to provide the basic services of spare tire return and protection of the interior of my auto. Since this appeared to be their norm, I didnt think a complaint would do anything. I didnt want an apology or refund, I simply wanted good service for the expense I paid.Hopefully you will learn this is not a great service location! After a loss of business from my rating and review, hopefully they will realize that great reviews come from great service! I certainly will not be using their free rotation/balance offering as I fear they will try to upsell and request additional work each time. Further, I wouldnt let them pay me to serve my tire needs poorly

A little pricey but great service

THEY CHANGED THE PRICE QUOTED AND PRICE WAS $150 OVER EVERY OTHER MECHANIC I CALLED. CHARGED $54.00 DIAGNOSTIC EVEN THOUGH IT WAS DIAGNOSED 5 MINUTES BEFORE I BROUGHT IT TO THEM, AND I ADVISED WHAT I NEEDED WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN. CLEARLY THEY ARE LOW ON BUSINESS SO THEY OVER CHARGE THE CUSTOMERS THAT THEY DO HAVE. ILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN IF IT WERE THE LAST SHOP IN THE WORLD! #DISAPPOINTED
