My family and I were driving north on the first leg of a two day road trip when our car started having trouble and engine lights and warnings were flashing. We called up McClendon’s as we cruised north into Montgomery and he told us he could help us right away and he did! What a stellar ambassador of human kindness and goodness. We were back on the road almost immediately after he cleaned our throttle on the house. After more than our share of troubles with other shops through the years, we can’t say enough about McClendon’s and highly recommend for quality service and repairs completed with honesty and integrity.

Joe is a gifted mechanic. He knows how to fix problems, and he does so in the most economical manner possible. He is always keeping my best interest in mind when working on my cars. Completely trustworthy. Thanks to him, my 2007 Yukon XL with 233K miles runs like a champ!

We have been going to McClendons for over 6 years. We always return because they offer HONEST expertise and are amazing at fixing all kinds of issues that crop up with our vehicles. One time, a hose had simply come loose on one of our cars. They could have easily gouged us as nonmechanics but were honest and simply put the hose back on. If you want a reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable mechanic at a very reasonable rate, McClendons is the place to take your vehicle. I recommend them without hesitation.

Ive dealt with a lot of mechanics through the years and these guys are top notch. Quality service and quick turnaround time. Highly recommend and they are also very reasonable on price.

My husband and I have been taking our cars to McClendons Service Center for years. We have never had a problem with a car that McClendons could not fix. Joe McClendon knows more about cars than anyone I have ever met. McClendons gets the work done quickly and does not cost an arm and a leg, unlike some dealers service departments we have dealt with in the past. A few years ago a dealer told our son that he needed to replace fuel injectors and the cost would be $1,500, but McClendons diagnosed the problem as a fuel filter and the repair, including a towing bill, was under $200. If you want your car fixed right the first time and save lots of money, take it to McClendons.

I asked to speak to a manager about getting a used engine. He was very disrespectful and hung up in my face after I misunderstood one of his questions because he had to repeat it twice. Would not recommend because of the unprofessionalism.

Great experience with Mr. McClendon! I am not trusting of mechanics anymore...I have been screwed so many times. A couple friends had recommended Mr. McClendon but I went somewhere else. Bad...Bad...Bad. I finally took my car to them and I will never go anywhere else. They were honest, fair and prompt. I was so surprised at how fast they completed the work. I say YES to McClendons Auto Repair!

My truck was broken into over the weekend (both windows smashed), so I called around checking to see what it would cost to have two windows replaced. After talking with some coworkers, I learned that many of them have used McClendons Service Center (its close to our office). In fact, my boss is using them to restore a classic car.I found them to be VERY competitive (their new window price was less than what most places charged to put in used windows). But more important, the work was done within an hour of me dropping off my car and the new windows look and work great. I plan on going back.
