I am writing this review specifically about Crystal, but the agency is also very solid. My wife and I started using Mitchell insurance last year. This may sound odd to put in a positive review, but hear how it turned out. The company made a couple of errors in getting me quotes, which resulted in me having to pay more for my insurance than they had quoted. When we brought this to their attention, Mr. Mitchell himself called and, without us even having to ask, he offered to pay the difference. That was very professional, and re-affirmed that we could trust the agency. This year, I was in the midst of a crisis - my precious wife passed away a month ago, and she was the one who usually handled the insurance. I knew we were likely coming up due, so I called the agency, and was blessed to have been assisted by Crystal. She handled everything - changing our information, getting me the new quotes, and helping me get everything paid in time so that there would be no lapse. In these days, many people simply go directly to the insurance companies. We had done that for years. But, it is nice to be back to having an actual insurance agent, who can look out for my best interests, and compare different companies for me. Crystal, in particular, was very professional, and also kind and compassionate given my situation. She was obviously a good hire, and both she, and the Mitchell Agency, deserve a positive review.

Jennifer was so much help to us…We had an issue with our policy and she cleared it up immediately.You need to have more people like her!She answered all our questions and cleared up our issue right away. She followed up with us 3 additional times to be sure we had no more concerns.Lovely woman…caring and very efficient. She definitely needs a raise!

I was shopping insurance rates because my premiums skyrocketed when I added a 16 yo driver. Was struggling to piece together the best options for both home and auto. Landed at the Mitchell Agency and within a week they had it worked out so that I added the new driver without my rates increasing. All of this with slightly better coverage than I had with my previous company.

Communication with Mitchell (esp Jennifer) was outstanding and would definitely consider doing business with them again if we are back in AL.

But it gets even better!!! My family and I did the Right Track Driving Program also. How about today...I received an email stating my rate has went down even lower $252.25 a month!!!! The folks at the Mitchell Agency are AWESOME! When you have a child turning 16 it hits you straight in the gut with how expensive insurance really can be. My insurance was going to increase by more than double with my current provider. $100 a month was jumping to over $250, and that was just for liability. Jennifer helped us out by finding not just the best rates, but the most discounts and getting my daughter her own separate policy (keeping her off ours and preventing the increase).
