United was amazing, starting with Cody that came out and gave us an estimate, the price was within my budget on what we needed. I love the service people that come out to service our unit in the spring and fall. No issues at all. I have also recommended them to friends and they used United as well. I did get estimates from other companies as well but United was the best in all that they were doing. The sales and service with United is great. I will never use another company. Honest good people who are local!

Our A/C was not cooling down like it should, so I called United as our unit is still under warranty. Called them at 7:00 AM. By 10:45 they had a technician at my house, and by 12:30 he had repaired the issue. He was extremely nice and professional, and I didn’t pay a dime, due to our warranty. Thank you, United!

They replaced my 30+ package unit after a temporary fix. They responded quickly at my delima.The next morning Cody came to give us an estimate for what we wanted to replace it with. When we called to say we were ready he said it would take one day to replace the unit. They started about 8:30 and were finished by about 2:30 and they did and amazing job to adapt the old duct to new system. The return air had to be completely replaced. New shut off box and new breaker and new gas line.You could only tell they had been here was the fact the old one was gone and a new one in its place. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for maintenance or installation.

I purchased my home last year and wanted to have the system checked and to have a Replace UV Lamp message on the console investigated. The tech (Josh) went directly to the unit and plugged in a wire; the unit shut down due to it blowing a fuse. I asked Josh, what just happened?Josh, informed me that the entire UV system needed to be replaced and plugging in the lamp blew a fuse.According to the company (United) records, the previous owner was given a $1200 quote to repair the UV lamp weeks prior to me making an offer on the house and had declined the repair, thus why the wire to the UV lamp was unplugged.Josh seemed very knowledgeable about the system (geothermal). The system is expensive and seems complicated from the documentation I read. Based upon todays visit I wouldnt trust any other company other than United to work on the system.Also Sherry, the receptionist was very polite and patient when scheduling the appointment. I called on Monday and the tech was here Tuesday.

We recently replaced our A/c unit. After three different estimates we chose United without question. Cody the specialist was so knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. They finished in a timely manner and were very professional. My house is so much more comfortable. Very pleased with their service.

I have had the annual Spring/Fall inspection service for many years. I also had an unusual issue with my hot water heater repaired. Every person I have spoken with or met at home has been helpful and genuinely nice.

We’ve been having issues with one of the rooms in our house being the hottest in the summer and the coolest in the winter. I reached out to United and they sent out their Comfort Specialist and helped us solve the issue. They worked diligently in figuring out what the problem was and had it fixed immediately. Highly recommend this company.

I was supposed to have my ac unit serviced 2 months ago but due to Covid it was push back once or twice. So... yesterday my air went out and today i called for service. The lady looks up my account and told me i can have someone come out today AND that she sees my ac service date that i was previously rescheduled was scheduled for tomorrow. Im like great we can kill 2 birds with one stone since yall apparently have availability. WRONG!!!!! The tech comes to my house diagnose my ac and proceeds to say itll be $280 for the repair.😯 i said no my service date was supposed to be bumped up 1 day...based on previous conversation not to mention its already 2 months later than when i originally planned. I called to the office and some lady insists that she told me that i would be charged today and then i would have someone else to come out tomorrow to do the service. What sense does that make??? If that were the case i could have waited 1 more day!! So by the guy coming out today, i was charged $70 diagnostic $210 for the repair...mind you with my service contract that i had previously bought i would not have had to pay $70 for them coming out here and i would have gotten like 15% off the repair, plus my spring service would have been completed!! I may be missing another day that i was screwed today but the more i think about it the madder i become! Anyhow i would definitely think twice before using them. But on a positive note, the guy who fixed my compacitor was friendly and knowledgeable.

We have been on limited plumbing access for more than 3 days now. Plumber came today and spent about 15 minutes checking things out. Decided on a course of action then shared that he could not get to it today without help...who had laid out today. Says hell come back two days from now. In the meantime we have limited plumbing. Cant hardly wash dishes or clothes or ourselves. Really should have told us up front that they couldnt do the job and we would have called someone else. We hope they make it right in two days.

They did a great job of replacing my attic fans but left a lot of roofing nails scattered in the yard. The roofing tiles removed were not put back exactly as they were before. I am monitoring the roof for leaks.

TWO MONTHS AGO THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO REPLACE A NEW COIL AT THE ATTIC, AND THEY CHARGED US MORE THAN DOUBLE OF THE PRICE (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A FREE REPLACEMENT UNIT UNDER MANUFACTURE WARRANTY) AS COMPARED TO THE PRICE OF OTHER COMPANIES IN TOWN. TWO MONTHS LATER, THE SAME AC UNIT WAS NOT COOLING AGAIN, WE GOT THEM BACK TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM,. THIS TIME THEY SAID THEY FOUND THE OUTSIDE UNIT WAS LEAKING AND IT CANNOT BE REPAIRED, AND WE MUST REPLACE THE ENTIRE UNIT FOR A QUOTED PRICE BETWEEN $4350 AND $5,600. HOWEVER, WE HAD ANOTHER AC AND HEATING COMPANYS DIAGNOSIS AND THAT IT CAN BE REPAIRED AT A MINIMAL COST AS OPPOSED TO UNITED HEATING PRICING. I WAS SAD AND TRULY FEEL THAT WE HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY UNITED HEATING & COOLING DESPITE WE ARE THEIR LONG TIME LOYAL CUSTOMER IN THE LAST 4 YEARS.

Had two central H & A/C units serviced yesterday. The service guy punched a hole in both deck works. I guess to see what the temp was doing and did not fix either hole. Cold air was pouring out of the holes in both units after he left. I had to buy some duck tap and fix both holes. This was just not called for and the service guy smelled like a cigarette. Had the whole house smelling like cigarette smoke.

Long time customer. Wouldnt use anybody else. Their work is top notch. Excellent customer service.

EXTREME UNPROFESSIONALISM WITH CURSING AND THREATS!!!Last week, we hired United Heating & Air in Montgomery, AL to look at our broken AC unit. After a representative checked out the unit and diagnosed it as fully busted, a sales representative came over to speak with us and schedule for a new AC unit at $5700. After researching prices online and browsing other local companies, I realized this unit and service was being charged for $3000 more than the price of the AC unit, and certainly twice more than all of the parts. This morning, we withdrew our order. The sales representative showed up to retrieve the courtesy AC unit and demanded $200. compensation for his time, which was NOT written anywhere. When refused on legal grounds, he proceeded to hurl insults and curse at my wife before storming off. I had already gone to work and my wife was home alone.Needless to say, this was outrageous and exceedingly unprofessional. It is the right of the consumer to cancel orders without being strong-armed or bullied by United Heating & Air, which was grossly overpriced to begin with. Instead of ASKING for compensation, which would have yielded a much more favorable result, the UH&A representative DEMANDED a non-written compensation and left on threatening, even violent terms.Dissatisfaction would be a great understatement and I advise any and all future customers to BEWARE! Although United was recommended by the previous owner of our home, I am both disheartened and furious to see what a once great company has become.

Great workers, quality products, and great price.

I used them for the first time in the summer of 2017 to repair damage to our lake house that had been invaded by a family of raccoons over the winter of that year. They repaired all of the heating and air conditioning duct work in the attic that had been destroyed by the raccoons. The repair work was accomplished at a reasonable price and the work was completed promptly and professionally. Their electrician checked out all of the attic wiring to make certain there was no damage to the lines. They even came back to fix one minor mistake in the work with no hesitation. I also had them run all new Pex waterlines both outside and inside the house. The entire service staff was pleasant to deal with and I especially liked the fact they did not try to upsell me on work I did not need (unlike another local company tried to do!) I highly recommend United.

Solid employees every time. Whether its been a/c check-up, attic fan replacement or parts replacement under warranty, each and every person from office scheduler to Andrew and Terrance have been solid courteous providers!

My husband and I had a plumbing leak in our home and it ruined all the flooring in the back of our house. We had used United before so I called and Rusty came out the very same day and not long after I called. Everyone at United was pleasant and very professional. We had to file an insurance claim and United knew exactly what to do and how to proceed with the insurance company. The leak ended up being in more than one area of our home and it was a very big job which was very discouraging for my husband and I. Came home and found that our AC was out along a displayed fault code. From the time I called to the time they came out to repair was just over 1 hour! All that was wrong was a bad compressor capacitor of which was covered through warranty and service agreement. Way to go United Heating and Air! 😁
