Worst experience ever! Drove all the way over from Fresno. Made a reservation for two facials at 2 PM on a Saturday. Showed up, but the aesthetician didn’t! Couldn’t find any other place to take us, because of course, it’s a Saturday and everybody is booked! This absolutely ruined my weekend! I hate this place!

This place is excellent. For personal care and also health. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Amazing! GGs acupuncture gave me immediate results. I would trust her to care for my family, and highly recommend her to everyone. I was so impressed, that I consult with her from out if state. She is the best at what she does, and I dont plan on seeing anyone else.

I arrived with shoulder pain and left with an extra back pain.I never ask for acupuncture and the person pinch me with a Needle near my neck.Until nowadays my back hurts. ( that was one month ago).I wont recommend this place even to my worse enemy .

I have been a customer at GGs for almost ten years for spa services but within the past 2.5 years I have gone for a wide range of Acupuncture services.Around that time, I was hit by a drunk driver in a motor vehicle accident. I went to GGs asking for a massage but she explained to me that I should try Acupuncture. At the time I could not move my head or raise my right arm. Well long story short, one 15 minute session later I had regained my full range of motion and resolved my pain management issue. I HAVE BEEN SOLD ON THE BENEFITS OF ACUPUNCTURE EVERY SINCE. I have gone to GGS routinely ever since that first Acupuncture visit. Also, I have recruited dozens of people to try Acupuncture with GG.

Love this place. They are open late 🙌🏻 Went in last minute for a haircut. This is your one stop shop! Anna gave me a dope hair cut, was patient with me as I figured out I was doing. Then I saw painless Brazilian wax and I went for it. Gigi, the owner, started with acupuncture, then did a great job. What I discovered it sooner! They offer full acupuncture + massage and more. A L O H A

I’ve never been treated so rudely by a business. The open sign was lit, and the door was open so I walked in to inquire about a pedicure. It was 9:57 a.m. and was told that they don’t open until ten o’clock. When I asked “but do you do pedicures?” I was signaled to leave and to call them.

When my fiancé and I walked into GG’s Spa and Salon we asked for two pedicures. They told us it would be $50 each and we were like: what that’s expensive for a pedicure! Then they informed us that the pedicure comes with a full body massage simultaneously. I have to say that this massage was exactly what we needed after two long hikes. We both agreed that the massages were really relaxing and made us feel so good! After leaving I demanded ny pedicure on both feet and when I came back they were so kind and gracious. The people at this place are super sweet and make the experience better. Would definitely recommend!

I was in Monterey for a conference and experienced the best massage ever. Kevin was so amazing I returned for a second massage before leaving town.

Massages are great and priced well especially for the area. And it’s a real massage with no funny business. I have walked in three times and have been seen right away each time.I was offered acupuncture for my bacne so I gave it a shot recently. Will be sure to edit later with my results. Credit cards accepted though additional fees apply.

GG is so nice and very knowledgeable at massage and acupuncture. I got work done on my pulled back and it felt better almost immediately. Highly recommend.

This is the worst hair salon you could ever go to, my brothers hair look liked a disaster and paid for what he didn’t ask for. She did such a poor job, didn’t even line his hair up or do a proper fade.When I asked her if she could line his front hair, I had to tell her how because she didn’t know, and she only did one side... so I had to tell her to do the other side too. I asked her politely if she could clean the hair all over his neck and face, but she gave me a disgusting attitude gave me the supply she had to clean the hair and told me, “ here you do it”, and shoved the bottle in my hand. Not to mention that his haircut took about 45 min for a simple haircut and she kept leaving to talk to other people. I don’t even know why this store is still open because clearly that lady did not go to school to work at a hair salon, she does not know what she is doing and I paid $15 for nothing, because now we have to go somewhere to fix his hair. Please do not go to this salon they are very rude and they treated me like I was a piece of paper.

The people here are so nice and accommodating! They do great work too! A lit of places dont actually rub out those knots, but here, the massages are supreme! Also, they do really great nails too!

My daughter and I have been going here for years. Great massages. Waxing!! GG is the only one to touch mine and my daughters hair. She does fabulous wedding hair and makeup. Acupuncture is now available. GG really helped my son after coming out of a comma with acupuncture. She is my hero.

In town for the weekend and my hotel recommended this place for a pedicure. As soon as I walked in I knew this was not the place for me. I stayed, thought maybe I was being judgmental. They walked me into the back room where two of the workers were napping,. I still stayed. I could go on and on but when they brought out their instruments or tools they were D I R T Y and old. I told them I wasnt feeling well and needed to leave trying not to be rude.

I always like this place until my last visit with my daughter. Two ladies giving us massage talked loudly from the beginning till our massage was done. After soaking my feet i felt it was dried with a damp cold towel. Maybe same towel that was used from previous customer before us that we waited to get done with their service. The never stopped talking by the ladies slowed down their massage that made them stop several times. I guess i will try Monterey Foot Spa since i heard good words about them.

I have long hair and didnt want much off at all, she gave me exactly what I wanted. So sweet too 💕

What a great find, message was amazing, nails turned out great and hair and makeup beautiful. The staff was wonderful skilled, friendly and professional. Highly recommend, I felt i got much more than i paid for.

OMG, GG is the absolute best at waxing! She has the quickest hands in the Monterey Peninula and is super sweet. I think my whole Brazilian lasted about 5 to 10 minutes TOPS. And to top it all off? Only $50! She is hands down, the best! Customer for life :)

After a LONG trip, driving up and down the California coast, and some strenuous physical activities, my back was really killing. After a 30 min massage session w/ Amanda, I felt such a huge relief like WOW! Ive had lots of massages in the past, but this was among the very best! If I ever make it back to Monterey, this is one place I would not want to miss in my travel itinerary!

Ive been getting Brazilian waxes since 2009. By far the sketchiest, nastiest place Ive ever been. Should have ran when I saw the wax room, holy Hell. Towels all over the place, wax everywhere and outdated equipment. I asked her if they double dip. She said, oh no, it ok, very good. And then proceeded to double dip as she ruthlessly waxed me. Gross! They for sure dont follow aseptic technique. I wanted to leave after I saw she double dipped, but then Id walk out all sorts of uneven. I legit hope I didnt contract anything from there. Going to go shower and pour rubbing alcohol all over myself now.

Best foot massage on the Monterey Peninsula. Lucy was energetic. I was very surprised and have plans to return soon.

Ive been going to GG for years! Shes the only one that I trust with my long, thick, wavy hair. Most stylists butcher it, but shes fantastic every time :)

Very good massage, great salon, could use new massage tables

Its Mothers day and I randomly wanted to get my nails done. On a Sunday evening after 4pm I knew it was going to be tough to find a place open. A little birdy told me about the place, so I called to be sure. I called and I had mentioned that I wanted my nails done. I was told multiple times that they are open. So I drive down there took about 15 mins. I had to park four blocks away, and Im not that familiar with downtown Monterey. Once I actually found the place, I was told the owner GG was not there. I proceeded to tell the woman there that I called before hand to be sure that they would be open and what kind of service I wanted. And again I was told that because the owner was not there, no service could be provided. So I dont understand why this place was open at all? Why not just close up shop early and call it a day if no services can be provided if the owner is not around? I guess they make so much money, they didnt need mine.

Terrible service, told my sister to clean the hair off of my brother and begged for a tip even though the haircut turned out terrible.

It is a very good spa and haircut place, but kind of expensive for what you get, but if you dont mind paying more money for high quality service I would go there, otherwise there are cheaper places to go to in the area for the same quality of service.
