Writing on behalf of my dad who after visiting three other providers in the East LA/Montebello ended up here. We had little hope that this provider would meet his needs. We were pleasantly surprised. The office is clean and well organized. The staff, front office and technicians, are respectful, knowledgeable and good communicators. The team worked with us to make sure that the treatments were covered under his insurance (Medicare Part C). The minus one star is related to treatment taking slightly longer due to delays by the lab(s) as well as them not having resident specialist. This greatly limits appointment dates and times to the day the specialist in at this site. This I know is a systemic problem.

I really appreciate the staff for being caring and thorough. The dentist today was very kind and extremely professional. Her staff is also very polite and friendly, I will be going back for continued services.

Pretty much pain free other the shot to numb the area I felt no pain. Both the people that did the cleaning and the dentist that filled my teeth were very professional. I find everyone very friendly. I would most definitely refer family and friends here.

Friendly staff, smooth and pleasant experience. The clinic is extremely clean with high tech equipment I didn’t see in other centers before. I was seen by Dr. Rajoub. She was very knowledgeable, patient, gentle in the treatment and answered all my questions.

The wait time is unacceptable! Waited over an hour and a half for a consultation.However, the doctor more than made up for it because he was so friendly, apologetic, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure.I was ready to leave a 1 star review, but because of this specialist, I think I heard him say his name is Dr. Lee, I am editing my review.

I gave 3 stars because the woman at the front desk were very sweet and answered all my questions about billing. I am upset because my daughters went in for their annual exam. We are NEW to western dental, they have anxiety and are nervous even if they are over 15 years old. Due to covid I was not able to enter with them, which is fine. We were the last 2 appointments for the day. When we were in the car on the way home, my daughter told me the man who did the x-rays was annoyed with her and told her she needed to listen to him to get the x-rays right. She did tell him I am doing what you need me to, he apologized but he kept making breathing annoyed sounds and answering her rude. I UNDERSTAND ITS THE END OF THE DAY AND YOU WANT TO LEAVE. be polite its the end of our day to and we work like you and we are tired. We are in a pandemic and trying our best its scary to have a stranger be close to us and our face and we are nervous. ITS YOUR JOB TO HAVE PATIENCE. I will speak to a supervisor. I am upset. WOULDNT YOU BE? BE KIND, BE NICE AND REMEMBER I AS A PARENT CANT DEFEND MY CHILD RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I CANT GO IN...SO BE PATIENT AND IF YOU ARE TIRED GO HOME..DO A HALF DAY...Im sorry I could only go later in the day. But my appointments were at 415pm. I was seen at 515pm..it would be great to get a response from someone so I can call you. Dont just read this. Got an appointment and got there on time. I was told to wait one hour before I can be seen by the dentist. Almost 2 hours later they said the dentist is too busy and it might be until 6 pm (4 hours after my appointment)before they see me. Whats the point of an appointment. This clearly shows this place doesnt care about other peoples time. Beware of this place. This place deserve 0 star as far as respecting your time.

UPDATE! 6/11/21: Even though I replied to the link that they sent no one reached out to me. However, I did not want to leave a negative review on here just because of June (see below). The staff here has always been kind and polite to me. I have literally been coming to this Western Dental for 4 years now for their orthodontics and the receptionists have always gone above and beyond to accommodate me and make me feel welcomed. Not going to lie, I have had issues with Western Dental and the hidden fees but most of the issues have always been with their corporate office where they werent willing to accommodate any payment plans for me but when I came into the office Nicole was able to help me and set the payment method and the payment plan. I have nothing but kind words to say about the doctor for orthodontics, hes very kind, he communicates with his patients, very professional, whenever he worked on anything in my mouth he was gentle and he cares not to hurt you and overall he is the ONLY reason I stayed with Western Dental as long as I have. He is a perfectionist and left my smile looking amazing (so much so that my husband said I look like I have fake teeth haha). As for the general dentist I only came here once for general because I switched my insurance from PPO to HMO, this location does NOT accept HMO insurance (for general). The first time I got a cleaning here I was pregnant so they said they couldnt work on me, at the time I already had my braces on, they never removed my wires or asked that I schedule an appointment when the orthodontist was there so they can clean my teeth properly. Instead they just brushed my teeth like that. I was told that once I delivered my baby I could go back and get a better cleaning. Anyways I am unsure how the cleaning ended up costing me $400+ out of pocket and I was not told about the fees until a month after I got it. I had PPO insurance at the time and they literally brushed my teeth because I was pregnant they werent able to do anything else. I tried to fight the payment with their corporate office but they pretty much just said pay it or let it go to collections. I have since moved to Dr. Davids Family Dentistry and Orthodontics (about a block away, across from the McDonalds) which by the way they did an excellent job at cleaning my teeth and with my HMO insurance I paid $100 out of pocket and they did it without my wires from my braces on so they could do a better job. Overall, this WD office is clean, nice staff, modern tech with everything but because of that it can be expensive and the hidden fees suck!June R had me post this review before leaving the office, I felt very uncomfortable as I’ve never been approached like this before. June literally had me take out my phone and said “open it and go to this page”. She had a business card that read a link to go to. Then she proceeded to touch my phone and press 5 stars, she then clicked google which brought me here. She clicked on my phone for 5 stars again and asked me to type her name in and write something nice about her/ the appointment. She did not leave my side until I did so. I’m changing my review right now as I sit outside in my car. I felt very harassed in a way since she was just so close to me. I only feel bad leaving a bad review since my orthodontist and the rest of the staff there are amazing and I had NEVER encountered something like this before. I’ve been coming to this office in Montebello for my braces for 3 years (almost 4 now) and I’m not sure if this is a new thing but I’m glad I’m having my braces removed and will only be back two more times. I feel very uncomfortable when people get too close especially considering COVID and this lady literally got so close to me to be able to see my phone, if you have a privacy screen you know that you have to be close to the phone to see it and I have one which should give you an idea of how close she got.

Very long wait times. They provide with an appointment and tell you to arrive early. We arrived early and after almost 2 hours I had to leave and rescheduled the appointment. I figured things happen. On the next visit waited over 2 hours and just had to walk out. Everytime I asked how long, they would say your next. What is the point of an appointment if they do not keep it. In my opnion they overbook to make more money at the cost of patients having to wait.

The Orthodontist is very nice, and so are the staff.. I so far have had good experiences here... I just got my braces off back in January of 2021 and my teeth looks great.. it feels good hearing how beautiful my smile is from other people.. The ortho at the Montebello office did a awesome job on my teeth/braces.. I am now wearing my invisible retainer and I love it.. Thank You.

Had two major procedures done so far both dentist have done their work with the outmost caring, gentle, professional manner. They new I was nervous but who isnt they explain and comfort me how things will be done. IDK but Im been blessed with two amazing dentist. If I can give a extra star I would.

Please do some research before choosing a dentist. I was in a lot of pain so decided to come here because it was close by. I was in a vulnerable position and signed a contract which I later expressed to them that I wanted to cancel . I went in to get services done and my insurance covered it, I was made to believe I needed more things done but my insurance would not cover the rest. Thats when I shouldve realized they are more of a place of business and dont actually have my best interest in mind. At the time of signing I told them what my income was and how I am unemployed as my husband is the only provider. So them knowing that I couldnt afford these extra services why were they imposed on me?

I have been taking my son to his Ortho for 2 years now they are amazing the doctor explain very well and his very nice with kids. Nicole and the rest of the girl are great. We got there 10 minutes late because of traffic driving from Palmdale and they did their best to help us see the doctor so we didnt have to reschedule. Absolutely amazing gooob thank you to all

Worst customer service. The call center and the office are very off track. The workers there are not on top of things. Wasted an hour just waiting just to be told we werent going to be able to be seen. Do not go here. Office may look nice but their customer service is poor. Seriously if you dont have time to waste dont go here. Find a better dentistry

I had a little crack on my upper toothwhere you can see, I asked the Doctor if she can do anything? She fixed it right a way with very little fee. Now my this tooth look very natural not crack shows. I really appreciate to this ladyDictor.

The only reason I give four stars is for their Ortho Dept. The dentist Dr. Prusky is very thorough and patient and their receptionist Nicole is the best. Her customer service is extraordinary. She is very helpful and always has a smile.

They arent clear on charges. I came in for a teeth deep cleaning, out of all my years of getting deep cleansing, never has a dentist forgotten to put the anesthesia for the teeth on me, not only did my teeth hurt bad during and after because I could feel everything, but they had the urge to send me a bill with charges I wasnt made aware of.Find another dentist, personally I dont think all Western Dentals are bad, but this one in particular I have had a horrible experience with.

Staff was friendly, the doctor and office financial woman had some attitude. The dentist herself was arrogant and very short, she seemed offended when i had questions. Couldnt place the accent, but at least her English was understandable. The lobby was full when i left at 3:10 pm 9/23/20.

The dentist was evil. The staff was nice enough and helpful. I feel bad they have to work with the Dr. Yulia Nikoghosyan. I should have checked the reviews before I made an appointment here. It was close by my house and i was in pain so I made an appointment only to be disappointed with the Doctors attitude. She seems like she couldnt care less about her profession or her patients. She wasnt kind. She wasnt gentle when working with my teeth. She didnt explain anything and when she did talk it was cold and heartless. I felt she was more like a wicked witch or evil stepmother than a good dentist. If you are reading this...do yourself a favor and schedule somewhere else.

Place looks like garbage and the people who work there their attitudes were just as garbage. They miss ran my information saying I have no insurance, I went in trying to resolve the the issue and they wanted nothing to do with me. Literally tried my hardest to give them my business and just got shunned, I use to think google reviews were were bs and the people who write them were just bitter but on this I should of listened to the previous reviewers. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, do not go here.

They do not have the best interest for the patients. I had teeth work done and a week later I was in alot of pain due to a nerve hanging from my wisdom tooth which they wouldnt allow only one wisdom tooth removed they needed to do all or none.

My experience at super kids dental is they tell me whats going with my teeth also they help clean my teeth.

My experience at this location was horrible, the staff doesnt seem to know the buissness hours.

They give me an appointment at 4:30 pm and arrive at 4:15 pm and they saw me until 5:43 pm. They treated patients who came after me, so I dont understand why they make the appointments.

Here you are treated well the first time! Since you sign the contract, the deal is not the same ... you make an appointment and you are not respected. You are attended when you want ... simple today I have an appointment at 12; p.m are already 12:38 p.m and Im still waiting for terrible service

Call to make an emergency appointment pprq supposedly on page d this place says that they attend emergencies and they attend you on weekends and they supposedly close until 4:30 in the afternoon and they wanted to give me an appointment until Monday I call on Saturday by Toothache was an emergency and they wanted to make an appointment for me until Monday, when they put services on their website when they do not have them or do not comply with them.
