Acevedo Dental was very helpful and kind during my visit with them. Everyone is nice and I really enjoyed my time here with them. Any questions I had they answered for me. I was really scared to get my wisdom teeth out but everyone was so supportive and concerned. I would recommend this place to my friends and family

The treatment coordinator, Jackie, is the kindest and extremely helpful in explaining the treatment process. The dentists, dental assistants, and ortho do AMAZING work, are quick, and so sweet. My only issue(and one that I have observed with other clients on almost every visit) is that the front desk is unorganized and do not take accountability for it. Clients pay a $50 for 48 hr cancellations, but the office mixing up our appointments and not telling us until we’re there is supposed to be okay? People miss work, have to arrange for childcare, and drive far just to be told that they can just make another appointment and it’s apathetic. Jackie and the dental staff do amazing work and they are the reason I stay receiving services from Acevedo Dental.

This place definitely makes you feel at home❤️ So fortunate to have a great relationship with everyone here at the Montebello office. Every visit is always a fun experience especially with amazing greeters like Carmen, Yesenia and Jackie!

I went in about a month ago and I was charged for a work that was half done(because I only wanted half of it done and I have told them this before) so I asked for my refund on half of the work. I was told wait 7-10 business days and youll get it. And now a MONTH later they come out with you were told that we needed your card for the refund. I was never told this! How can they tell me this if I never got a call back!?!? The dentist there are awesome but the front desk and the person dealing with the money are scammers. I will be changing dentist. This is unacceptable! A WHOLE MONTH and more than 5 phone calls later I get an answer? Dont come here

Not a good dental place, would give no stars if possible. First, the doctor who performed the service, who was later identified as the owner, began the appointment by asking are you happy with your smile? When the patient responded with yes she continued with Well Im not. A disgusting attempt to shame the patient into accepting extra services just to increase the total bill at the end. Furthermore, attempted to charge the patient over 800$ for a MOUTHGUARD. During the service, the doctor continued to express disgust over tar build up and scraped the teeth of the patient until they bled.Their patient left the dentistry feeling shamed and embarrassed, only to, a week later, visit another dentist to be told that the discomfort was caused by overscraping from a previous dentist.Only a terrible person would use lies about a persons health and hygiene to further their monetary gained. I am sickened by the way this patient was treated and highly recommend anybody thinking of visiting this establishment to go elsewhere.

They also bill me incorrectly even I show them what on my plan coverage and call my insurance to verify. I asked why do I got charged this much. The lady said because you have to pay deductible. I asked how much is my deductible. And she didn’t know, even she is the one should have reviewed what is on my coverage before she finalize the charge. This is a scam! Everyone Go somewhere to avoid this scammers.

This place is a scam. My insurance covers everything with nothing out of pocket, no co-pay/deductible. They still charged me $58 on my credit card. I called them but they always hung up on me.

For the most part the overall experience is good!!! The girls in the front are nice and welcoming the DAs are very nice as well and do their best to make you feel comfortable and ease your nerves....( I miss the gemelas tons) Dr Michael is amazing!!! (Miss Dr. Olvera immensely) When it comes to the money it can be on the higher side even with PPO insurance, but at least for the work I’ve gotten I have been very pleased...Jackie has been good to us, she has heard us and has helped to make things happen......Dr. Hurtado and her husband were the sweetest to me during my ortho years, highly recommend the ortho here!!! The wait time has been a bit longer than usual, the policies have slightly changed, but as ongoing patients we weren’t notified. My mom started coming first, I came by her reference and now we’re here with my husband......let’s see what the next 2-3 years bring. My husband will be trying the Invisalign and Dr. Michael will be the one to help him during that process...No doubt he’s in good hands!!!!

Financially, the dental bill is not explained and the individuals responsible for explaining are rushing you to sign. Is that professional?? I had made an appointment for tooth ache but the doctor was trying to convince me to get other procedures which is very unprofessional and shows that money is the only interest. Also I had tooth ache but was given an appointment until the next day while also having to pay! How do you explained those actions when a patient is in pain? Would never visit or recommend!

I had really good expectations for this dentist as I was referred by a family member and this dentist is promoted on the radio. So dr said I had to get a treatment that they would submit to medical for approval. If such was approved I would only have to pay about $240. They said they would let me know once the approval came back or response and will then book an appointment.A week or 2 go by I get a call saying my approval came back if I can go in, i said yes and book for Friday at 11:30am. I get there, sign in. Its 12pm and one of the girls comes and tells me they are just waiting for the doctor to provide dates to start treatment. Its 12:15pm I ask why is it taking so long, to just get an appointment and status on approval? Wasnt this supposed to be ready, then what was the point of the appointment. She says she is gonna call the person and interrupt her even when she is with a patient. She does and then tells me she says she will be finished in 10 minutes ok I wait. (might as well right, drove out there, already waited). 12:45 an hr and minutes passed since my appointment, and still waiting. I tell her whats going on, behind her is Dra Acevedo with a girl on a desk, I think they saw I was already upset. Dr. Acevedo comes out trying to fix thing if you can call it that way because all she did was say ok I will go inside and see what is going on she goes inside and I keep waiting. Its 12:55 and the girl that was sitting on the back with dr Acevedo comes out and says i will help you since Jackie is busy with a patient (so all this time everyone keeps changing stories, first we were waiting on dr for an appointment, then this so called jackie was busy). I go in with her to the desk at the back. ALL TO SAY THIS:Your approval came back but the vendors/specialists is not the one we work with. You can call them to ask them to refer you to one in their network or you can use Speciality Group which is the one we work with, BUT you would have to do the treatment as private client (paying all costs myself). I then tell them all this time having me wait outside.. an hr and 1/2 to tell me this? I asked way long ago if you could go over the approval with me over the phone with me you guys said no, ok, I came, yet you make me wait out there to tell me this??? . She responds she is just helping Jackie (making it seem like I should be thankful her helping me). I say I want the name of the person in charge and their contact information because I want to put a complain for having me wait and lying to me all this time (as they kept changing stories). She responds that will be my boss I ask for their information and she responds she cant provide me with their information that she could give me HER email which I can email to my complain and then she will forward this to her boss. THIS IS the first time I ever hear this from any business or facility. What place can not provide the boss information not even an email. Ok, so I ask to provide me with her email, which she does. I say, I also want the name of the person whose fault is it that I waited here so long, you said her name was Jackie right, I want the last name to which she says she can not provide me with it. Thats ridiculous. Everything was ridiculous: having a patient wait for an approval, (not even a room! or to see a dentist), lying to a patient as they kept changing reasons of the wait, dr acevedo coming out pretending to care when obviously all she cared about was a patient not making a scene for her at her facility (which I wasnt even close to doing), this Yesenia girl on the back making seem I should be thankful for her helping me, and making me wait 1.5 hr to tell me my approval can not be done thru them, and to top it off being unable to provide me with concrete information on who to put a complain. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY, it is full of lies, oH! and forgot to mention that while I was waiting couple of patients arrived and were seen and left before me that I was just waiting for update on my approval.

They have the friendliest staff! very nice and they make you feel welcome. My son had his wisdom teeth removed and the Dr. (cant remember name) did such a great job. She was very patient and caring with him. His recovered pretty fast. He started feeling good after a week. I will definitely go back!

Very profession, Dr. Acevedo and Jessica walked me through the process of an implant. A year and a half later of treatment the results where above and beyond of what I expected. Every question and concern was well addressed.Highly recommended.

Ive been coming here for about more than 3 years and I have to say its by far one of the best dental places I have ever gone too. They are so nice and friendly they always greet you with a smile and they always know your name so they make you feel just like home.Thats not all, they have financing available and they really work with you no matter what situation your in. Dr. Acevedo was very warm and welcoming. Ive been hesitant about going to the dentist since I was young. But at this dental practice everyone was very nice and the assistants very professional. Dr. Acevedo explained to me step by step what she was doing which really put me at ease. I was in and out of the office in a timely manner, and had a very positive experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone. This place is only interested in your money and the way they bring in clients is very misleading! Went in with two vouchers for a tooth whitening package. One for myself and one as a gift to my girlfriend. Both these vouchers cost me $130, paid for with my hard earned money. The sales rep Kevin M who sold me these vouchers never mentioned any extra charges & procedures that would have to be taken care of prior to whitening. He specifically told me the whitening was included and that anything extra was up to us. The reason for the promotion they had going on was for the clinics anniversary. By the way it looks as though my girlfriend and I werent the first to fall victim to this you can read more complaints on Yelp. Anyways, my girlfriend was the first to go in and get her exam, X-Rays and consultation done. While I took care of the kids in waiting room. Btw they have nothing but a TV playing Pandora a few outdated magazines. About an hour later my girlfriend came out and explained to me that she had 2 cavities, gingivitis, they would have to put porcelain on one of her tooth and that they would have to clean her teeth before proceeding with teeth whitening. It was $220 for the cleaning alone, I could only imagine what the rest of the stuff was going to cost. We realized that these vouchers were useless! Just a scam to get people into the clinic! We werent even allowed to get the copies of my girlfriends X-Rays and were charged $30 for them! When I asked for my money back for the useless vouchers there response was We cant give you your money back because we arent affiliated with New Line Smile Network they just send us clients we are a third-party. Something along those lines... Waste of 2 hours I didnt even bother getting my exam & X-Rays we just walked out. Stay away from this place dishonest and deceptive!

Long time ago I travel so faraway and made me wait for 5 hrs. Just so they can extract a tooth. The dr that I was waiting for was too busy even thought I make an appointment with her. She sure takes her time to be at 1020 am radio station but not to see you.

Yessenia the Financial Coordinator was really helpful. She help me set up a payment plan that works with me. I feel at ease, i really appreciate her help.
