Ms. Roberts-Powell is a great French tutor. Extremely organized with well-thought out lesson plans that have been very helpful to my daughter. She started working with us mid-year and was able to jump right in. She is also very accommodating and has been so patient with our crazy schedule!

Sophie is great! She personalized my french lessons to fit my personality. I feel like Im learning french with a friend and look forward to our classes. Her tutoring fits what ever your needs are and her french is parfait.

My daughter Yana was 5 y/o when we started classes with Sophie. From the very first class we could see how lucky were we! Sophie is a brilliant teacher! After just one month of intensive course with Sophie Yanas French improved dramatically. We live in Canada, so French is very important for us. Unfortunately we can visit NJ only limited periods within a year but we try to take as many classes with Sophie as it is possible every visit!

Sophie is an excellent tutor! She has helped our Middle Schooler gain his confidence and build up his skills as a new French speaker.She is also very responsive and has been quite accommodating with our schedule.

My son was failing French IV at MHS. He had tried working with a student tutor from the high school and it hadnt helped. He started seeing Sophie for 1 hour per week just 6 weeks from the end of the year and managed to bring his grade up to a C! Sophie made sure to contact us in advance to find out what topics our son was working on in class and prepared for the session ahead of time. I cant recommend Sophie more strongly.
