Brandon, a team member was a trooper and he did excellent customer service. Other than that experience, lets just say I lost my morning trying to get a car from this office. When I called in the morning I gave my reservation # over the phone I was told my car will be ready for pickup at 9:30 am. I didnt leave the premises until after 11:45 am.I understand that businesses go through bad days, but at any momentno one approached me to make it right for the long delays and waisting my time for over two hours.Im not SATISFIED with their services and I wouldnt recommend anyone to rent from this place.

I am placing this 5-Star review for the hard working folks at the Pomona Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The staff is professional, courteous and worked well as a team to get me in and out in a clean rental.My wife was in an automobile collision and thats why I needed this rental car. Fortunately no injuries, whiplash or anything else. It helps to have quality assistance from Enterprise during a trying time. I am an accident injury lawyer serving Pomona area. My office is located in Claremont. So I see a lot of car crashes, motorcycle crashes and more. Its always so frustrating!

The worst enterprise, this branch was open for reservations but they didnt have any cars!!! There were like 7 customers waiting, no body was giving answers, one lady trying to take the information for all the customers but no action taken after, my wife had to go inside and ask what was going on, then a guy came out to say that there were no cars according her reservation, and they have to downgrade the car but the price will be higher than the reservation, wait??????? The representative attitude was sarcastic and like this what we have and this is how much you are going to pay, take it or leave it . Not taking responsibility for their wrong planing, bad customer service, bad attitude. The worst thing is that the back lot was full of cars. The end of the story is that customers were extremely upset.Other branches experiences have been extremely satisfying, accomodating, even upgrading if needed. Never going back here.

Horrible experience. Reserved intermediate SUV through the app. When I arrived, told me it was not available and Id have to spend 33% more for the standard SUV. I said, no thanks, just give me whatever you have thats smaller (app had shown availability). They said, all gone. I said, then give me the standard SUV for the price I had reserved (something every major car company has always done if they run out of cars.) They said, including manager, cant do. So dishonest. So I walked away. I will never rent a car from Enterprise ever again.

Enterprise is a absolute disgrace as a service to society. As of July 1st they changed their policies that if your paying with a debit card you need a recent paycheck stub. I am a business owner who was off for a month due to Covid illness. And this is the way Enterprise not only treats their loyal members but all of customers nationwide. I regretfully spent thousands with you guys and now I hope and pray you go out of business. The branch manager at this location is extremely unprofessional!

Had to take a last minute road trip. Price was great, didn’t expect to get a full size SUV but we did and loved it (Kia Sorento) Checking in was great since they offer pre checkin, just signed the forms and did a pre inspection of the vehicle and we’re helped all the way from features on the vehicle to picking up and dropping off the rental. Overall 10/10 great experience and customer service !!!

Will not come back. I would call for several hours and no one answers the phone. When I do get a human being, they would promise to send me an email of my receipt but I would wait and wait and nothing happens. Then I would call again and no one answers again and the second person would promise again to email me only to find out it is not possible. They are also understaffed. When you get to the front, theres no one there. I had to wait an hour and no one is checking in on me and asking if Ive been helped already. Very unprofessional. All the previous comments here and in YELP are true and I should have believed it.

SUV has some electrical problems I call for road service and they told me wasn’t included I have to pay a local mechanic $50 just to find out that the ground cable from the battery was loose but besides that incident was great

Dont ever rent a car here !!!! I been renting from them over 10yrs. A piece of the car came lose while I was driving on the fwy. I called my road side assistance and also I took pics. When I took the car back i was treated very badly. He asked for 500$ from my credit card a chubby young white guy with out even investigating the problem or looking at my pics. He told me the car look like it was in an accident and he needs 500 $ 😂 if you bring a car back here to return and any thing is wrong with it make sure you have your 500$ deductible.. I got the bill and the damages only cost 257$ watch out for this branch they are very shady.

When I first rented with enterprise I was blown away with the customer service and the performance of the vehicle so when I was going up north I decided to rent with them again. Big mistake the vehicle I rented transmission would not shift and I was stuck up north and was not able to get a hold of enterprise to get help when I payed for roadside assistance after a week goes by $1000 later the vehicle did not have transmission fluid and oil was low. Next time if I do rent from them I will have them show me everything is good with the car instead of trusting there word.

I was taken there today, and I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! I already had a reservation and they where trying to Nickle and dime me... I was already covered for $30 a day by my insurance and they wanted to put me the only vehicle they had which was a minivan. Mind you I drive a camaro, with that being said they wanted to up charge me another $10 a day.. No way!!!! And they didn’t want to give me a ride back from where they picked me up from!! They finally did give me a ride back, I went to the enterprise in (chino hills).No problem what so ever there..PSMontclair is under new management from what there workers where telling me, they said it’s been unorganized ever since.. Bad business gets No business

Always fast, friendly, service. The Montclair branch cars are always clean and smelling great. The team is fast to respond to questions or assistance with unknown features in your rental. The branch manager Sarah has a good, growing team on her hands. The site managers have done a great job keeping up with its fast, friendly service through its growing, business changes (Nod and thumbs up to Xavier the previous branch manager). The Montclair branch is my go to site for rentals.

The manager of the Montclair office is horrible. Enterprise has withdrew over 600 dollars from my back account two weeks ago and it has yet to be deposited into my account the manager is consistently giving me the run around. This office is HORRIBLE!

Sara the manager at Enterprise in Montclair California is great! I have been renting from Enterprise for 6 years now. Sara, and Darlene always go out of there way to help! I have seen many mangers come and go and Sara is top notch! Arturo also does a nice job keeping the cars clean. I would give them a top grade for customer service! Enterprise is very fortunate to have these employees working with them!!

Worst location for car rental. Never coming here again. There employee and manager dont coordinate at all. They will quote you and lock a deal and the manager will come and deny it all just before giving you the car. Surely, they are just here hungry for the money only. No proper customer service at all. They also make you wait for hrs. AVOID IT IF YOU CAN!

Called at 11:12 to confirm the car is available and transfer reservation. They would prepare it for me so I would be in and out quick. Arrived at 11:22am. Car not ready. 10min they said. 45min pass by and I ask for another car. The guy assurred me the car would be here in 5min which turned to 15. Mind you 10 other customers come before me and are leaving before me. I get it covid has longer wait times, but if I want another car just give me another car. I should have stuck to city of industry. Car arrives 12:22pm. Geez.....

Although my experience was terrible, I was to point out that as a former district, area, and store manager for big-box retailers, I would have handled all this differently. There were many other options that could have been available to me at no additional cost and handled much better. Especially in front of two other employees, I was uncomfortable- they were uncomfortable and Jason had set a very bad example for his staff. My husband and I rent every month, several times a month for business. I never have issues like this at the locations in Riverside, Redlands and Yucaipa, and even if I had- they would make it right.To start off I had reserved a vehicle over 24 hours prior. When I got there, I was roughly 10 minutes early. There were 3 people ahead of me and they were able to get me checked in with 5 minutes of arriving. About 15 minutes later they said they were ready for me. He told me my options were a Chevy Spark or a Mini-Van as they did not have any cars left for me to rent. Then he went on to tell me he could see if they could get me into a pick-up with approval. I didnt want to pay more, so I was forced to chose the Mini-Van because the Spark was just too small and I had reserved for one bigger due to what I needed to carry with me the next day. As I assumed he went to go get the keys, he came back to tell me that if I wanted the mini-van I would have to pay double the amount I reserved. I then asked to speak to the manager, whose name was JASON. Jason informed me that they unfortunately do not have any more cars left to rent and that I would have to take the Spark (a car smaller than my reservation) or pay the upgrade for the Mini-van. Please tell me HOW THIS IS OKAY??!! I had stuff to haul around and although the mini-van is much too big for my liking, but would fit everything, the alternative was the spark which would never fit anything and I would have to make 2 trips and waste 2 hours back and forth both times! I apparently did not have a choice. When I asked him about the other cars, trucks, and vans in the back I saw, he said they were reserved for people tomorrow... how does that make my reservation any different? I reserved a car ahead of time and was here on time? So why is he holding cars for people that are not there yet and Im there WITH A RESERVATION, and not getting the car? I told him I needed to speak with his manager and he said he was the manager and there was no one above him. HOW IS THIS OKAY? I was evacuated from my home and I had no other choice but to rent this car as all the other rental agencies were closed for the day. I am already stressed out after all Ive been through, this was just icing on the cake. I put all my faith in this rental that PROMISED me my car I rented and they didnt pull through. I had previously had an issue with a rude employee at the nearby location and honestly could only say it must be the area management that are either not stressing the importance of customer service, or just hiring terrible management for the stores. The employee that helped me originally, felt horrible, and at that point was was crying because I was put in a horrible position that was in no way my fault. I cant even tell you how screwed up my day will be tomorrow. Keep in mind, from the photos I attached they had cars aplenty: vans, trucks, other cars in the back.

Overall, the experience is good, representatives are very helpful but they wont answer you call if they are busy. Also, speed is really slow due to lack tof hands. Book the car online will save the time but prepare for least 30 mins to 40 mins for the processing time.

I rented a large pickup truck from the Montclair, CA location. It was not a pleasant experience. The young women who were working seemed ill prepared, and they were basically rude. I ALWAYS rent from enterprise and usually use the location on E Street in San Bernardino, where they are friendly and accommodating. I will NEVER rent from the Montclair location again. It was over 100 degrees when I went to return the vehicle. There were 10 people waiting outside the location to rent vehicles. The girls didnt acknowledge anyone who was standing outside in the heat, there was not shade, not an easy up or any other shade. We were all waiting in line and after 45 minutes I decided to call the location in San Bernardino, on E street. They manager told me to bring the vehicle there and that they could take it in for me, but there would be a one way fee. When I got to the second location and explained the nightmare in Montclair, the manager in San Bernardino waved the one way return fee, they gave me a ride home and due to Covid, we still had to wait outside, but there were chairs, benches and two easy ups so that nobody had to wait in the sun. Overall, I will not ever use the Montclair location again, but I will continue to rent from San Bernardino as they are always helpful and accommodating.

I have been a loyal frequent customer of Enterprise for approximately 10 years now. Ive always felt like family to the local offices; especially the Montclair branch. However, my last two rentals from the Montclair branch were very dissatisfying to say the least. I have become accustomed to a superior level of customer service rendered and interaction with the branch employees and Managers at this branch; back to when Curtis was the manager.The recent service level and interactions I encountered with Mary have been unprofessional & disheartening. To the extent of were I choose to utilize the Ontario Holt Blvd location, managed by Kim.Where I received the great customer service Enterprise Rental is known for; although there were some issues ( car malfunctions), Kim & her team promptly assisted me & made sure that I was satisfied with the services I received.The Montclair branch has drastically changed over the many personnel changes within the last four years. I no longer feel comfortable renting from the location, after informing Sarah the branch manager my concerns.Sincerely one unsatisfied customer,Jalani

Iam not sure why Enterprise has my Husbands name under this review i Irene Cuevas was the one who rented the vehicle from Enterprise no information regarding my Husband was given so how did you get his name ?? my experience was ok i had to go to two Enterprise locations just to get a reasonable vehicle the wait to be assisted could of been shorter but the Enterprise associates were all very kind and professional the young gentleman who brought us back home was very very nice and very polite very professional i dont remember his name but again he was very nice and helpful . there was an issue with the full $200 being refunded i will be traveling again in a couple of weeks does Enterprise have any discounts for customers who make two rentals in 30 days.

We will pick you up, unless it is 15 minutes before close and you are trying to get a rental through AAA. The lady that my AAA agent and I talked to on October 23rd at 5:48 PM said they already sent their driver home and they would not wait extra 5 minutes for my girlfriend to arrive since she was a few miles up the street and had to try to find an Uber last minute. The lady was quite condescending and dismissive on the phone as well.Why would you call 15 minutes before they closed to book a reservation? Well, we started this journey around 5pm & the AAA agent and I were on hold with other Enterprise personnel for at least 30 minutes, trying to get a reservation confirmed for that evening. Yes, we had a confirmed reservation for that day too.I will never use Enterprise again. Please do yourself a favor and go with Avis I have been using them for years and they are an outfit that actually knows what customer service really means.I also enjoy reading all of the 5 star reviews below with no comments... What organization is Enterprise paying to for the fake reviews to help boost their Google ratting anyway?? Based on this experience, I now know why and you should too.

This location has undergone staffing and management changes over the last year and there has been nothing but issues since, not only with my mother but other customers of mine have complained as well. Enterprise alleged that they tried to contact my mother to come in and sign a new agreement and put a credit card on file. This was after three months and three vehicles. At no time did they ever request those items from her and they had been renting to her the entire time. Additionally, she never received a phone call or a voicemail from them. So Enterprise ran my debit card for $400 without my knowledge and approval. I am not and have never been an additional driver on the vehicle. I am not on the car rental agreement and I have never signed a contract. (I have however reviewed the agreement/contract since but I will get to that in a moment). According to Enterprise since my mother had not responded to the alleged voicemails that were left they used my debit card information, recorded it as the credit card on file and charged it for a new $300 deposit plus $100 for payment. This is fraudulent as I never authorized them to do so. Enterprise stated that it is standard practice for them to record any card in which any payment for the vehicle is made on file and will charge it if there is a failure to pay. So since I helped my mother out twice and used my debit card Enterprise believes that they have the right to take my money. Absolutely not! They do not have that right. Whether they do this is standard practice or not is irrelevant.

Louis is by far a leader and one of your hardest working employees. When my truck was in the shop for repairs and we had a family trip to south Dakota enterprise came through on a rental for us. Very nice comfortable suv. Unfortunately we had a slow leak in the valve stem. We had been driving through the night to reach our destination in time for hotel reservations. I finally got ahold of road side. Only option a donut spare. This wasnt safe on slick icy roads. Other go 6 hours out of the way wait 5 hours and maybe get another car. Yes I said car no all wheel drive suv for snow conditions we are traveling in. Along the way stopped often to put quarters in air -6 temp. Long story short I found a small tire shop who with me pleading and paying replaced leaky valve stem. With all the stopping our trip was extended 2 extra days and we payed for a room we never slept in because we were on the road putting air in the tire every stop. Mind you this light came on only 100 miles away from upland. Please clean and evaluate your cars is my only recommendation. Other than that top notch facility customer service.

Enterprise has always said they will pick you up drop you off well the Enterprise in Montclair Ca. Told me the have a 1 mile radius to pick up an drop off. Well I live in Montclair an they could not pick me and had issues with dropping me off. If they have a drive radius thr commercial should say it not say we will pick you up an drop you off.

I was 45 minutes late to my reserved time and my car had been rented so i was forced to rent a bigger, more expensive vehicle. Several hours into our trip a stench began to rise and it sunk like pee. the car was dirty and scuffed up all the way around

This Montclair location has an after hours key drop box which the Indian Hill - Claremont location does not. The next alternative for after hours return would be ONT airport. This one saved us a trip to ONT.Did have one problem though. We rented from the Claremont office then returned to the Montclair office. The Claremont guys had checked us out and during our pickup inspection, there was a small dent noted... but it was no big deal because it falls under their criteria of, if smaller than a golf-ball size dent then it is no big deal. The problem is that the Montclair people call us next day to say they found some damage that we need to pay for. We find out their concern is the minor dent that the Claremont folks said was normal and a non-issue. We escalate this back to the Claremomt guys and the manager there says the folks at Montclair should have known that the dent is too small and that it falls under their criteria of non-issue. He sorts it out for us.

I have been a Enterprise Renter for over 2+ years. Giving a 5 star rating to the customer services I have had from day one to present. My rental issue if any are handle within moments of being mention.. My most recent happy face moment was Saturday April 23 2016 I needed to make a 2:20 flight to LAX my rental was due on April 25, 2016The Manager on duty help me to make my flight ..He advise me to drive myself, no worries about the distant no worries about the gas he would take care of it have a safe trip and we at Enterprise are sorry for your family member loss..This is what we all need that special consideration.. I will never forget this service from MONTCLAIR CALIFORNIA ENTERPRISE I Loss my sister on Thursday and needed to go home and be with my family..Thank you all.....That was a 5 star customer service to me.. Hi our experience was bad we did rent a car from Montclair ca .and when we got to vegas Nv .the engine light came on . So we went to 5 enterprise store . And they send us to a different one finally they send us to the airport .they told us that they dont have one. The want us to go to pep boys to get it fix.and we asked them if they have a car and they told us that the only one they have is a carpool van .so we end up speaking to the manager. And she was veryprofessional. And told us what to get. So we did.so we got home and we return that truck tha they give us on the 30 off december we dropped the keys and truck because they were close .so we went back on the second of January to see what was going on and then one of the female employees.almost run us over and reported to the manager. But seems like he did not care at all..

Watch out people this place gets u cars from other places n they r fix cars n waht i mean is car that r not new. my last rental itself bumper came off when riding on highway n they said it was my fault. so watch out people what u getting at this place.

I rented a fullsize SUV on 8/22/2018 for 8/31/2018 to 9/3/2018.On 8/31/2018 I called Enterprise Montclair location early morning to verify my reservation, but they told me theres no fullsize SUV available. So, I called orbitz and waited for over 1 hour to get another car from Enterprise Covina location.When I arrived to Covina Enterprise, I waited there for 40mins until they called my name. The only thing they told me is they have no vehicle available for me. Because of this, I have to called uber home since I have no car to ride and it costed me lots of time and money.As soon as I got back to the hotel, I called enterprise again and told them about all these problems and I have to go on a trip with another 6 people including small children. I have to extend my hotel stay which costed me another $500 dollar all because of this. After talking on the phone for over hours, they told me Covina Enterprise will have another fullsize SUV available on 9/1/2018 9am.on 9/1/2018, I called a taxi and got to Covina Enterprise and they still dont have a 7 seaters car available for me. After all these, I have to cancel my trip with children and took them home one by one, which costed me another $400. This is the worst experience, I will like to get a compensation due to all these frustrations, time wasting, and money. According to consumer protection law dealing with unfulfilled reservation by rental car, the company will be subject to a $500 fine. Otherwise, I will report your company to consumer-protection officials.AND I DID EMAIL THE OWNER WHO REPLIED BELOW, BUT HE/SHE NEVER CALL OR CONTACT ME. 10/03/2018
