I came to this nail salon thinking I would have a better outcome compared to the ones in the past. But, I came in and my tech filed my cuticle to the point to make it bleed.I asked for an almond shape and the nail tech acted irritated I did not realize it was such a difficult shape to achieve. After leaving I noticed that none of them were even and that two were crooked from being filed to much. And to top it off I was told there would be an 11% fee for using a debit card I have never heard of an 11% fee at any business. I had high hopes for a better outcome, lesson learned I will never be back. They were not worth the $70 I paid for them. I don’t mind paying if I get better quality then what I got.

New to the area and I was looking for a new nail salon. However, I was very disappointed in my experience at VIP Nail. I was never greeted upon arrival. Several employees were not seeing customers; however, no employees looked up from their phones. The receptionist eventually came up to the desk and she was not friendly and made a rude comment about how I didn’t make an appointment. There were many available spots and I asked if they had time. If there wasn’t availability, it would have been different. The receptionist was also coughing and not wearing her mask over her nose the entire time. No one explained about picking a color before sitting as expected or communicated at all during my appointment. The actual pedicure was okay, but my overall experience was very disappointing. I also was very disappointed in the 11% fee for using a card.

My 2nd time going to the shop and I have to say that Ivy did an amazing job on my nails. No matter the price. If you can do nails like she did for me today. It was the best. My husband also enjoyed his manicure and pedicure.

My experience was not the best I paid over 100 dollars for a pedicure and a full set. My nails are already lifting after one week, I do absolutely no hard labor whatsoever and I had to explain to the nail tech (David) more than once the shape and placement of the nails were not correct, my pedicure was completely rushed, and I paid for the,”mommy to be” pedicure, I personally feel the prices are not worth the services received.

I get the Pharaoh pedicure, and today Anna didn’t disappoint. She takes such care in caring of my toes. Skin removal on toes and feet seemed to be a priority. My favorite part is the 24k gold and the paraffin wax. The hot towels and stones are the icing on the cake. I pay a premium for this service because it is worth every minute.

Got my nails done yesterday on the 13th and the shaping is bad and the acrylic is super thin on some. Got home today and I didn’t even do any thing hard on my nails and 2 are cracked.

Tweedy (I don’t think I’m spelling name right, sorry) did an AWESOME job doing my pedicure! I’m a regular customer and always chose “anyone” when booking my appointment. Today I had her and will choose her each time. Each different nail tech I’ve had did great but she was by far the best. I honestly think each nail tech I’ve had done a great job each time I’ve been serviced. I go nowhere else except VIP!

Not exactly what I had asked for, even had a picture for reference. Got acrylic nails but now I tremendously why I dont ask for them much anymore, the nails are so thick. They almost look like teeth.(actually teeth are thinner)

My regular nail salon was closed unexpectedly today so I decided to try VIP. Their website indicated that appointments and walk ins were welcome but the hostess at front desk insinuated that walk ins aren’t ideal. When I offered to schedule for later in the day she said they had availability immediately so I’m not sure about the walk in conversation. Either way I received a quick but very relaxing pedicure. The massage and scrub were great. There was some confusion on nail colors as the majority of the options were gel only, which costed extra. I chose my color and accent color and the paint job was impeccable. My total for the classic pedicure with gel polish was $51 which was a good bit more than I was expecting. When I attempted to pay with my card, the hostess said that there would be a considerable fee to pay with a card but that they had an ATM. I wasn’t keen on using an ATM so I had to break a $100, which she was able to do. The outcome was great, but I would have liked a little more bang for my buck and a little better communication as to how things operate.

Initially, I called to see if they were mandating appointments be made before receiving services. I was told yes and my appointment was booked for 10 minutes after I called. Luckily, I was down the street from them. Even walk-ins were welcome. But, Steve. Oh, Steve. He communicated with me about the process he would take to service my feet, as needed. He was gentle and kept me informed before he made an exotic move. Although, I was on the phone majority of the time, he remained patient and polite. He scrubbed my feet and clean his tools wonderfully. I really appreciate him. Today, is the day after my birthday and he even engaged in that conversation. I recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much Steve for helping me take a load off. I advise that this business keeps him employed.

First time here. I had made an appointment online, for a tech listed to be available, for an appointment time also listed to be available, neither of which I received. I was contacted to change my appointment time which I did. I arrived on time and was told it was the day off of the tech I had requested. Fine, no problem. I waited approximately 15 minutes for any of the techs to arrive before any service was begun.I received the classic pedicure and a basic full set acrylic nails with gel polish. I received no special treatments, no add-on services, no additional expensive products, etc. Somehow the total for these two services came to $101 before the 11% extra they are going to charge you if you try to use a card to pay.My interactions with the tech during the pedicure were fine. However, while getting my nails done, she was rude on several occasions. I was attempting to speak and had said, I wa . . and was immediately cut off, and she stated Please just let me do what I need to do. I know what I’m doing. I apologized for having done nothing wrong except worry that there may be a misunderstanding that would wind up costing her more time and attempting to prevent that. My bad. Next, I attempted to thank her for taking an extra step in priming two of my nails that are very rough and pitted with an additional application of the acrylic to make sure they were perfectly smooth. Once again, I was immediately cut off and she said, Dont touch it! Its not dry. Ooooookay.So we get to the part of trimming the nails down and she’s pointing to me how much shorter I wanted them and clearly I’m supposed to read her mind during this process, and now that I’m totally reluctant to say anything because I’m getting my head bitten off and receiving rude responses every time I try to speak, I was reluctant to say anything. She said Well, I would rather you tell me now than wait till it’s over and then I have to go back and redo them again, at which point I thought to myself well that’s what I was trying to prevent the first time when you cut me off, responded rudely, and told me basically to shut up and that my input was not needed.My nails look decent; that is all.I have read several reviews stating that the receptionist is rude. My experience today was that the receptionist was the friendliest person in there.The shop itself is very nice, clean, gobs of mani and pedi stations/chairs, And I saw an area in the back designated bar with refreshments like coffee maker and I don’t know what all else. I was offered something to drink once, which I declined. Saw someone walk through with a canned soda and an airline-sized cup of orange juice going to another client.Overall, I grossly overpaid for just a decent service and to be treated rudely by an employee towards whom I had been nothing but polite and courteous. I do not mind paying a more premium price for outstanding services and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately, I received neither here today.

As I walked in the atmosphere was very promising they had a great check in system and everybody seemed super friendly. They started with my hands which is not preferred by me but I went along with it and everything seemed fine with my nails until I got outside in the sunlight and I saw air bubbles under every single nail it was just tiny air bubbles (I got French tips). my toes have streaks in the polish to where it’s not solid and I went back a few hours later after I ran some errands to get my nails fixed and they managed to make them look even worse Steve did my nails Kevin I believe did my toes and I don’t know the lady who attempted to fix my nails but all she did was paint over it because I had gotten the clear acrylic for my French tips so she just painted Pink and attempted to repaint the French tip and like my toenails there were places where there are streaks in my polish she rushed through fixing my nails I couldn’t tell you how embarrassed I was to even attempt to tell them that there was some thing wrong with my nails again. Definitely not worth the $55 set and $35 pedi. I’d rather a less exciting atmosphere with promising technicians rather than trying to sell the product with their atmosphere

Tyler is fantastic! He will talk to you if you’d like, but if you’d rather not, the silence is not awkward. He provided excellent, fast, and quality service. Five stars!

My daughter and I enjoyed getting our nails done together here. The workers are so friendly and nice. And going there they make us feel so welcome.

The atmosphere is very zen and relaxing. I always feel like I’m at an upscale nail salon when I visit. The nail technicians are extremely skilled, professional and accommodating.

It was just a great vibes. The man did a good job on my feet,I got a muscle therapy,it was jus what I need. Nails jobs when he pops my fingers, I was in a awesome vibes.

My old polish wasn’t even taken off all the way before applying the new nails and when asked why I was just told told it’s because I painted them wrong myself. The old polish still showed under my expensive acrylic manicure, any my cuticles were never tended to. My fingers were done over old dust from the previous customer, and the pedicure spa liner detached and prevented the bubbles from working, so the best part of the pedi didn’t even happen. A couple of days later, my daughters went for their appointments. One daughter had an entire hand that they forgot the finishing coat, and the same for the other daughter’s foot. Needless to say, those missed came off not long after. We asked for a basic mani/pedi only, but the salon workers did what what wanted, knowing the girls were kids who didn’t know better, and then charging accordingly. We literally clarified we wanted nothing that cost extra at the time of booking as well as THREE times before the services were provided.

Some people have an issue with having to get an appointment here. I actually appreciate that fact because that means I dont have to waste my time like at the mom and pop walk in nail salons. Plus they do great work. Ask for Peter

Fast, friendly, and great place to get nails done. A little pricey but worth it.

Walked in at 10 a.m I had no appointment was given one for 10:30, put my feet in the water right about 10:30 sat there with my feet in the water until 11:00 went to the desk asked for the manager the excuse she gave me was unacceptable. All she could say was I was next in line.. Yes maam I would hope so after waiting 30 minutes. Walked out the door. Please let your customers know how long its going to be after you sit them down and put their feet in the water if its going to be longer just let them know dont allow them to have to sit there for 30 minutes with getting the service they will be paying for plus a tip. I walked out after I explained the situation to your manager and your manager gave me her response which included I was next for service, after 30 minutes, not 10 minutes, or 15 minutes which I consider a reasonable time AFTER you give me an appointment of 10:30.

My girlfriend had an appointment scheduled for 11:00 AM. They called later in the afternoon and asked for her to change the time of her appointment (I assume to accommodate someone who didn’t have an appointment). When she told them she couldn’t because she needed to be at work after they just hung up on her. Day of the appointment, she woke up and saw that her appointment had either been moved anyways or deleted. She’s extremely upset because her birthday is coming up and she never has the time to get her nails done anymore. Ridiculously unprofessional. How do you force someone to change their appointment? Why even have that as an option to begin with.

I left SO ANNOYED. They charged me $50 DOLLARS for dip on my natural nails. NO acrylic nails/tips, NO manicure, just dip on my natural nails. $50 DOLLARS!! And then it’s not listed in their pamphlet if you get dip on natural nails… also if you pay with a card, it’s a $5 fee!!

The front desk host is rude and communication is very poor. Nails not strong or durable and break easily. Service is a 4 On a scale of 1-10. The front desk clerk should treat EVERYONE with respect, not just the ones who she thinks are more important. I notice as soon as I came in (before I can get fully Im the door) she asked: do you have an appointment? But I noticed others she greeted them properly- Hi how can I help you. She’s hurting your reputation. She causes confusion amongst workers and clients. Also, When I came to get a refill it was such a hassle trying to figure out who did my nails originally. It is not my responsibility to keep up with who did my nails. When I set the original appointment it was supposed to be notated on who did my nails since this is how your system works. The front desk clerk was really having to question everyone on whether or not they did my nails and even asked me do I remember and we had a little back-and-forth. This should not have even happened and record keeping needs to be a little better. Also setting an appointment should not have me waiting still for over 30 minutes..

Booked mani/pedi for me and my teen daughter. Arrived just a few minutes early and they started on pedicures. Muscle therapy pedicure was amazing! A little pricey, but I got gel polish for mani/pedi. Very pleased.

Always have had an appointment, we sat for 45 mins. The lady informed me that the man who I’d them on Mother’s Day didn’t do a good job and the nails had to come off. So she took them off with a tip, yes they were that easy to pick off. She asked me if she wanted her to fix them and I said yes. She applies an overlay to my nail, remind you this is a $50 service every visit, I was not satisfied did not want an overlay but an actual new set. I was charged $65 to pick nails off that they messed up on and still had to pay for a full set that I did not receive. Will never use them again nor either 3 of my daughters.

I love the service I get with this company, they are polite, the new lady at the front desk is very courteous. I got a pedicure today and my tech Anna really took her time and made sure my feet where perfect. Highly recommend.

Rude and overcharges for service that doesn’t last long enough compared to other salons...the only thing VIP about this place is the aesthetics of the inside... the service is the WORST!! All these positive reviews are suspect, as I know for a fact (and through word of mouth) that they aren’t all that great!

My child’s nails were.$100 that is ridiculous for what I got. They gave me the wrong thing and was talking bad about other people. 0-10 would not recommend.

Very efficient and effective! This is my second visit and I am just as pleased as I was the first time. The only complaint is one of the male employees did not have on a mask and he coughed and sneezed (uncovered) on numerous occasions. I’m usually not a stickler on things like that but with things the way they are we all have to be careful. Aside from that I had a great experience and I think I’ll be returning

The service was fast and everyone was super nice but the nails are horrible! The guy that did my nails didn’t do a good job. My nails are uneven and look very bad I had to file my own nails down after leaving because they were so sharp.

I have been here twice and have really been impressed. Will continue to use them.

The man who did my pedicure was turning around the whole time watching a football game. He took his phone out of his pocket several times. He also did a horrible job painting my toes, two toes are halfway painted. It was an upscale business so I did have expectations that weren’t met. The other employees seemed very attentive and treated their clients well. So warning*** if you get the slim built young man please request another technician!

I love this place there is only one down fall!!! They always ask you to pay in cash. I don’t fell like that is professional. I always use a card I don’t keep cash on me. I understand that normally cash is not taxed for those receiving it but that is not good business to me. Other than that what you receive is very high quality.

I worked at this place as a receptionist and my weight was made fun of by my manager everyday. She basically called me fat every single day. I brushed it off because I thought it was normal until I started working at another nail salon and the treatment was completely different. I didn’t want to do this but that messed with my self esteem really bad when I was already going through a hard time and no employee should be treated like that. Not to mention I was harassed about pushing customers to pay in cash every single time which I wasn’t comfortable with.

I give this place a 100 stars!!!!! I found this place through google search(was looking for a new nail spot and I’ve found it)‼️‼️ Everyone here was so welcoming and inviting. Steve was my nail tech and I absolutely adore him... we talked like I’ve been his client forever. If anyone is looking for a new nail spot look no further.

I wish I was able to give a negative star. I had a HORRIBLE experience at VIP NAIL BAR. The nail tech was not able to do the design I asked for let alone inform me that she was not able to execute the original design. Originally, I asked for Matte polish with a design from a picture that I showed the nail tech. After she completed my nails, I asked the nail tech to add some nail art and she just looked at me and repeatedly said all done like she wasnt going to do anything else for me. My nails did not have the Matte polish and she did not do the design like I wanted her to do per the picture below to the left! I WAS CONNED OUT OF $50.00! When I returned the next day to get my nails changed as it says in their policy, For any reason youre not satisfied, well perform the service within 72 hours, I was originally informed that I could get something different if I paid the price to take them off. I was completely fine with that arrangement, however, moments later that owner changed his mind. I was informed that I would have to pay an extra $40-50 for my new nails.The photo on the right is the nail design I asked for.I will take my business somewhere else from now on!!!!!!!

This will be my fourth time doing business with VIP nails. My nailtech is Tyler. He really good and quick. Every experience has been nothing short of great.

My husband and I had pedis, they were great. Was a bit disappointed that we weren’t offered drinks, because we were on an anniversary date.

Truly awful experience. Do not believe these reviews. Look at Yelp. Way overpriced, my toenails were cut unevenly, had to tell the woman to scrub my feet and the polish on both big toes chipped after 3 days. That pedicure could not have lasted more than 15-20 minutes. Then they add an 11% surcharge if you use a credit card. Would never return to this place.

Professional, attentive, and they actually listen to what you want !!! I will not use anyone but Tracy again !!!! After living here a year and trying literally every nail spa in the area, VIP is VIP for a reason !!!! Do not settle for less when pampering yourself !

This was the first time I have been to your nail salon. It came highly recommend to me from a hairdresser named Lauren who works at Rain, the Salon. She was absolutely right! It was a fun new experience. The young man who did my nails was very gentle and easily guided me through the process. He even massaged my arms and hands with a wonderful lotion. I had never heard of the powder dip nails. I loved it. I left feeling very pampered. I will definitely be back!

I got the eye lashes done. They were suppose to last close to 2 weeks but they lasted a little over 24hours. She told me not to was my eyes that night so I didnt. I got in the shower over 24 hours later and they just started falling off. I will never get my lashes done there again!!!!

I use to would give it 5 stars but they have gone up on prices and if you use your credit card they charge you 11%. They offer ATM but then you have to pay that fee for it not being your banks ATM. If your going to charge up to $75 for a pedicure then you should take the card and not charge on top. That’s unprofessional. And for the price increase I feel quality of service doesn’t meet expectations any longer.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We both got classic pedicures and couldn’t possibly be any happier with the experience. We will definitely be back!

David does a great job. Hes very professional, and my hands and feet always look Fabulous. The front desk is very friendly and the staff asked if you would like snacks or something to drink and they always come back to check on you to make sure that you are ok. David treats all of his clients great!

They do not always give you your nail appointment time. You can make an appointment but that does not mean you will get it. I’ve had to wait behind walkins several times after making an appointment.
