We could have spent a lot less on a washer at another store, but we wanted to shop local.The day of delivery, they did not see that we were first on the route. I waited, then called, and was told that we were missed and the guys were on the way.I wanted to keep an attachment from the old machine but the guys told me since it was a different brand, it would not work.I called Sam at Genthe’s and he said the attachment would work and it would be removed from the old machine.We would set up a time to have it installed.Installation would be a Saturday morning between 9 and 10.Great.At 10:10 I called.They had something that needed to be done so would be an hour late. Didn’t I get the text starting this? No, I had not.I tried to get my point across to Sam that this whole deal was poor customer service and we needed to get some things done that would have to wait since the guys did not show when scheduled. Sam said with my attitude, that they would just drop it off and not install it.I was irate!My attitude was telling him that I was not happy with how this was taking place.After I had to ask him three times if I could Finish what I was saying, I told him my husband would take care of it, thanked him and hung up.I was so angry at how he spoke to me, I was shaking.The guys showed up later and set the attachment on the porch and went around our drive to exit. My husband went outside and spoke to them and they agreed to put the attachment on.Shopping local is what we try to do as much as possible, even if it costs more.We will never buy from Genthe Super store in Monroe again due to the extremely rude manner Sam spoke to me!
