Dave at American Heating and Cooling was fast to respond to our call after having Iceberg out and quote us an outrageous price. Dave came over, was more thorough, professional, and quickly did some research and responded with a great price and could do an install the following day, with a better unit and better warranty than Iceberg offered. I would definitely recommend American Heating and Cooling and would tell anyone who has had service and quotes by Iceberg to do some quick research and get a second opinion by American Heating and Cooling. I could have had a new furnace, central air, and ducting ran for the price Iceberg wanted. American Heating and Cooling is professional and very competitively priced.

I called after hours for an emergency A/C repair and the experience was great. Someone was at my house in 30 minutes, and 15 minutes later my house was cooling down. Not inexpensive, but about what I expected for a repair at 8 PM. The gentleman who answered the phone and the technician he sent were both very courteous and efficient.

Our heater went out Thursday and we called the local H&C company we have used for years,and they told us they couldnt even check on us until Tuesday, so we called American and they came first thing Friday morning, and by Monday @ 3pm our new furnace was on and heating up the house. The service technician was knowledgable and professional. The installation team were also A1. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing professional service.

They did not do a good job. Cost expensive.

Called with a broken hot water heater and they came out and late in the day and were back early the next day with a replacement. They did a great job installing and putting in place. Will hire again!

I am very disappointed with this company. One month ago I had a guy come out and check duct work . Week later got an estimate for all the duct work to be replaced. They told us it would be two weeks for them to come out. Two weeks went by and I was expecting a follow up call to say they would be coming out when I never got that call I called into the shop to verify and the lady that answered the phone was unsure said my name was on the board. She said if the guys didnt call to cancel they should be out in the morning. So the next morning the guys did show up. They then proceeded to tell me they couldnt do the job now because the crawl is too small and not very accessible for the new materials that needed to be used. This is very frusterated, when he could of told me that when he came the first time two weeks before that. Not very dependable.

Very unprofessional companyDo not show up on scheduled timeEmployees are rude and even cursed at my husband after telling us that the reason our house was not cooling down was because we needed to turn the heat up.Do not back up their work, a day after they worked on furnace we called them out and they charged us a fee which manager said he would take care of than a year later to find out he did not and they turned it into collection agency. Not to mention we still dont have air going upstairs to our room. So I would not recommend this company to anyone. ...I wished I didnt have to give them any stars .... :(

I want thank American heating and cooling for their fantastic service and especially the tech that came out early and fixed my .furnace.My furnace is outside I had to shovel snow just to work on it.He got it done quickly and without complaint.THANK YOU VERY MUCH.I HIGHLY RECOMEND THEM

Josh just left our home and got our air running again. He didnt try to sell us a thing, but offered great advice considering we have a very old furnace. I tried to make an appointment with another company and I could tell right off the bat they were sales based.He did show up later than what was originally predicted, but that is the industry... Nof fault of his. Shouldnt be a surprise to others either. I wouldnt want a contractor to rush at my house, so I dont expect them to rush at anyone elses.Last night, we called their after-hours line and a technician walked us through some troubleshooting. Where else can you get that?!?Pricing was also super fair! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the bill.These are definitely our go-to guys from now on.

They warrantied my furnace which was 6 months old although I was not the original owner. Dave took time on the phone to answer all my questions, Mary was very helpful and most helpful of all was Gabe the service tech, who repaired the part, answered my many questions and did an an unscheduled maintenance on my ac unit. I will see them to buy my new system when its time!

Bad experience. They are not good on timing or getting back with you. Even cancelled my fireplace job saying too much AC work now. Had been trying to get service since March now Don leaves me message in June that they are too busy so I should find someone else. Very disappointing.

Horrible! Had them come out for my AC and pool heater. My AC was out of freon, didnt do a leak test, recharged and 2 months later my whole unit froze up and cost me over $1000 to repair. Also did over $400 of repairs to my pool heater, it still wasnt working and was told it would be $1200 more to fix it. Called a local pool company, come to find out all it needed was backwashed through the filter because no water was reaching the heater due to the filter being clogged. Total cost to actually fix was $0. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Great people to work with and very fair I have used them many times over the years and they are always johnny on the spot they come right away I have made the mistake when I needed someone of calling some one else once and a while and cussing the others to big of bill and poor work.American heating and cooling stands behind there work from now on there will be no one else
