My AC was not blowing any cool air. I called Cencal after a co worker recommended them to me. I was able to have a tech stop by my house right away and was able to fix a part that had short circuited. Brandon was able to fix the part in a timely matter and was very knowledgeable. I would recommend.

We have had Cencal out to perform preventative maintenance several times. Their technicians have always been respectful of me and my home.They came out once to diagnose a potential problem with our heater. I really appreciated the honesty of the technician. He gave me several different options, told me what he’d do if it was his home and didn’t try to sell me services or repairs that weren’t necessary.

The company was very responsive and overall customer service was excellent. However, technicians had to return on three/four separate occasions to fix installation “errors” within the first four weeks post installation. The company was very quick in their responds to fix the problem, and after the 4th post installation visit (over an approximately four week time frame), everything is now working correctly.

During this heat wave, our 29-year old HVAC unit decided it had lived its life. Cencal was incredibly responsive and transparent. When the tech came out, he took pictures of our rooftop unit to show/demonstrate the areas of concern and laid out our options. Every single individual we interacted with was incredibly professional, with genuinely exemplary customer service.

A/C went out on the highest day of the year at that time. Schedule to come out the next day but an open came up in the afternoon on the day I called. Brandon and associate explain each step they were doing while fixing a/c. They will answer any question I asked. A/C runs great. 5*

Brandon was the technician that did the service. He was also all of the above. Couldnt believe he actually showed me pictures of the unit and explained things (its located on the roof). Service was thorough and done in a timely manner. Yvette called several days later to make sure everything was working well and that I was satisfied. I have never had a company do that for any home service. I have definitely found my new company and highly recommend them.

After 7 different companies gave me estimates ranging from $20,000 to $7,000 to replace various components of my ac system which probably would not have completely solved my issues with cooling my house, Brandon’s solution to clean and maintenance my existing equipment as well as look at my duct work to identify potential issues not only was more economical saving me thousands of dollars but made the most sense in identifying all potential contributing factors so all issues can be resolved. Very refreshing to finally find someone more interested in identifying and fixing my problem instead of just trying to get me to spend tons of money!! I checked the no box that I didn’t use this business as I have not yet hired anyone for this job.

Cencal Mechanical Heating & Air, Inc., is a local responsible responsive business manned by professionals - both management and workers. The dual pac on my newly purchased home, passed as working by the inspector, was condemned a month later, and Cencal employees were very sympathetic to my plight, going above and beyond to advise and accommodate, including assisting with organizing favorable payment terms. They were chosen over all other estimates because of their kindness as well as their professionalism. They installed a new dual pac and programmable thermostat 4 years ago on a very cold December day right before Christmas, and since then they have maintained the system in perfect working order. The workers always arrive at the appointment time, and are always ready to respond to my inquiries about the workings of the system. I look forward to keeping this business relationship for a very long time.

Recently I requested referrals for HVAC maintenance on Nextdoor Hughson. Several residents suggested CENCAL, including a friend/neighbor. After all the suggestions, I made an appointment with Brandon of CENCAL. Our unit is 18 years old. Failing badly. He went over the entire system, took pictures, and sat down with us. Service done in the past had been done poorly and incompletely. We opted for a new system. It was definitely time. The next day work began at 7:30, and everything was installed, cleaned up, and they left at 2:15. I cannot say enough about the crew: Charlie, Steve, Zachary, and Joshua. Personable, efficient, professional. They even repainted the attic entrance so everything was fresh and clean. I would never have known they had been here, EXCEPT for the flow of cool air filling our home. I cannot express enough my appreciation for the excellence of the entire experience. Tech came out promptly and fixed the problem with the AC. He was incredibly nice and quick. Couldnt be happier, especially with the 90 degrees in the forecast this week!

We havent had heat for the last couple days in our home and I called and Ignacio returned my call immediately. He was very professional and provided technical insight over the phone as I had taken the time to diagnosis our heating issues. He does provide same day service and I even agreed to have him come out the same day to get it fixed as I wouldnt be home during the week to have it serviced. I described the issue we were having with our furnace as the unit provides air to two separate zones. I had figured out that the furnace will only work with the second zone on. If the first zone triggers without the presence of a running second zone then the unit will fail to fire and will go into a permanent timeout and require a hard reset. I told him I have nest thermostats and he quickly gave me some options to work out over the phone and let him know since a lot of the diagnostic work was already done. Turns out it was an issue with the nest unit and for some reason just swapping the thermostats between the two zones made everything work again. I appreciate the help and would definitely remember to call Cencal again in the future when we need in person repairs

My AC stopped working at 11 AM. This would have been a major problem due to health conditions in the family, but thanks to Cencal and the kind, compassionate service from Susan on the phone and Ignacio at my home, the broken part was replaced and everything working well by 2 PM.I cannot recommend them more highly!

Cencals customer service phone person (Susan)was very courteous and knowledgeable. She asked pertinent questions about our HVAC and was able to schedule our service accordingly. The service tech (Ignacio) arrived on time and was able to quickly confirm our thermostat problem. We opted to have the interactive Ecobee smart thermostat installed. It is working well with our old system and holds a comfortable temperature. We continue to have great service from the Cencal team.

Hands down top of the line work from the office to the field team. Fast, efficient, communicative, and informative. They showed up the same day and quoted me a price that was by far much more reasonable compared to their competitors. I couldnt be more happier with the whole experience. JB came out and broke down what the repair would be and the steps that go into it. I had 2 other companies come out for quotes and they gave me estimates that were double the price and would require extra work that wasnt needed. If I didnt have any construction experience I wouldve fell for the other companies proposed estimates. They wanted to run new piping and add things to my A/C until that were not needed because they were afraid to repair the original line the same way it was installed before. Which makes no sense because it was working fine before the line was punctured. That leads me to believe that the technicians didnt have the experience nor knowledge that CenCal requires from their team. JB and Ignacio did an amazing job from start to finish they were clean and respectful of my family and property. If youre looking for a company thats honest, experienced, and provide A1 work. I highly recommend them. You can test out other companies and pay their $90 inspection fee but its a waste of time. Thank you JB and Ignacio for everything. I called this company in the middle of a heat wave, all other companies I called said it would be 2-3 days before they could come out. They came out that very day and fixed my air conditioner. Hector was great and efficient. Irvine has been a wonderful very efficient worker. He lets us know exactly what he is going to do. I have used Cencal now for 3 years and each service visit has been excellent. The service that Cencal gives is a number 10 (the very best). They installed my heater/air conditioner and explained that the old products I had in my home were costing me money. My monthly bills have decreased immensely. When my air conditioner began blowing only warm air last summer I called Cencal and they sent a technician out within a couple hours. I was sure that I would have to replace the unit as it is over 20 years old. Prepared for the worse I was relieved when it turned out I only needed a fairly inexpensive part and the technician actually had the part on his truck. I was so impressed by the service that I had them do an inspection on my system and they even found several leaks in my duct work that they repaired quickly. I am now saving money, living in a much cooler house in the summer and this winter the heater blows out nice and warm in all rooms of the house. This is the one and only company that I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a fair and honest company to do repairs. Thanks again Cencal.
