Definitely not your typical mechanic if any kind of shop, that Im used to seeing anyway. Very clean, and most of the personality of those employed here are very nice. Wayne were always enlightening and just delightful all around.

Allisons 1000 transmission torque convertor wouldnt go in dropped it off and Glenn fixed it right up for us and gave us a great price.

Told me my car would be ready the next day; parts came in so I was able to pick it up about 6 hours after dropping it off. Good, friendly, reliable service.

I have use them on three different occasions, one for a electrical diagnostics, once for transmission shifting sensor’s and one for loose flex plate bolts. Fantastic friendly environment, very clean shop and reasonable rates.

Their website says all transmissions domestic and imported but they wont work on Volkswagen.

They rebuilt my Mazda 3s transmission. Despite it being the year 2020 I got it back in a reasonable amount of time. Now the Mazda drives like a brand new car! A pleasure to drive.

Just looking across the shop floor it looks very well kept, orderly and professional which to me speaks volumes. I took my car in after I had had the transmission solenoid replaced & it wouldnt shift in any gear.After the day of waiting for them to look at it they told me the new solenoid was a Bad Part & to exchange & replace it.After doing just that...the car still has the same problem.Clearly they didnt actually get deep into seeing what the REAL problem is or even trying to figure it out.Very disappointed in this shop especially after all the great things I had seen & heard about them.

Many friends and co-workers told us so and we believe them now.IRandy offered to diagnose our 06 Jeep Liberty renegade at no charge.We already knew the transmission had pooped itself, so werent surprised when he said it needed a transmission. Already knowing what other options were, I Was surprised at the price he quoted for rebuilding, which is reasonable and fair.Glenn did an excellent job on a tired old 42rle (3-plug, the ones the factory oopsied).They use newer, updated parts, not the cheaper chnesium stuff.The way it drives after the rebuild is also pretty impressive.They were willing to spend a couple of minutes talking over our options - they stay busy yet have time for a customers dumb questions, not just your money. The place is clean and well kept.--------------FYI:I had a toyota E90 rebuilt at another shop several years ago, and got what I thought was an affordable low price - on a tight budget you sacrifice. That shop walked the talk. Have you ever sat on a washing machine full of bowling balls?, that was the Corolla at a stoplight. Had I known about Transmission Magicians then, Id have saved up the extra few hundred and came here. Thank goodness for this transmission shop. I used their service department about 2.5 years ago to diagnose a shifting problem on my wifes Jeep Liberty. They test drove, diagnosed correctly a non-transmission issue. (no charge and referred me to go to my mechanic at Pauls automotive, my trusted mechanic, to fix the issue. It was a throttle position sensor). I was impressed with the honesty of the Transmission Magician shop at that time.(fast forward to this week Dec 2018). A different vehicle. My wifes Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4X4 Sahara was in need of a full service of the drive train. A Jeep she had purchased recently, the service involved the front and rear differentials, also automatic transmission, and the transfer case fluids needed replacement. (The 2012 Wrangler has a hybrid German/American transmission that requires a filter change in addition to fluid replacement). The shop gave me a great price estimate and the service was performed on a day I could drop the car off. The price of the work was as quoted and the vehicle was ready as promised. I was impressed with both the service managers attitude and the technical staffs knowledge that performed the service on our 4X4 Wrangler. Well done. I will use this shop for all my transmission issues in the future.

Ive heard great things about transmission magician, so i called for a quote. They will not bench build a transmission. So if you have the transmission out of the vehicle and need someone to rebuild it, they wont do it. You have to bring them the whole vehicle. The guy I spoke to on the phone had an attitude about it too. So if you can pull the transmission and flush the coolant lines and put it back in urself to save money, it will do you no good here. I gave the one star for the poor attitude when I inquired about this.

Two weeks before bringing my car here I got into a minor accident on my driver side and Joe Hudson’s collision fixed and repainted the entire driver side of my car bumper to bumper.I took my car here to have a noise checked out. Turns out it wasn’t transmission related and I got a better quote somewhere else.My car automatically locks after a minute or so once you close all the doors and the day after I picked my car up from Transmission Magicians I noticed dings and scratches in my fresh paint all around my front driver side door. They didn’t say anything to me about it when I picked it up and they didn’t call to let me know they locked the keys in my car or give me the option to have a professional open my car. Instead they chipped a brand new paint job and hoped I wouldn’t notice.

I went to Transmission Magician late in the day after I left Mike’s transmission shop on Highway 90 where I had the worst experience I’ve ever had as a customer anywhere I was frustrated and angry because my car was still not fixed after a week, as soon as I got out of my car I was immediately approached and treated like a long time customer I was shown into a lovely waiting room that reminded me of someone’s living room after a few minutes a technician came in he was very professional very friendly asked me questions about my vehicle but what I like most was that he talk to me instead of at me I got my vehicle back ASAP the price was great if this was a full mechanic shop I would never take my vehicle anywhere else except to them And as an extra bonus I was driven home when I had to leave my vehicle at the shop I would absolutely recommend anyone having any kind of transmission problems to take it to them you will not be disappointed and you will remember that customer service does exist

Glenn Hilton does great work. Hes the one and only person who does our transmission work. Hes done 5 for us so far and we have not had problem number one out of them. His shop is immaculate, even when something is spilled it is mopped up with a mop and bucket, never with oil dry. He is very time efficient and never keeps a vehicle longer than necessary.

Spoke with one of managers several times. Very polite as well as professional. If the need ever arises again, I will go here first.

Took my car to 2 different locations before arriving here. Fausak on Hwy 90 couldnt find the problem after 2 visits on two different days. Also went to Pepboys in Tillmans Corner. I was told there that it was the passenger side CV axle and that it would cost over $700 parts and labor. Finally, I arrive to Transmission Magician. They take the time to really take things apart to truly find the problem. (Left front wheel bearings) Parts and labor under $250. Thanks guys... You now have all of my future car business.

Im Roxanne and I was told by a mechanic that my transmission was fried! I called around to ck prices of a used transmission at some local salvage yards and was astounded at the price! I then called Transmission Magicians and spoke with Ollie. He was super friendly and ask questions. He ask if I could possibly bring it in for a free check and told me it sounded like my brake locking up. I brought it in and that is exactly what it was! This is an honest business and the entire crew is amazing! Their reputation preceded them and that is why I chose to call here, but Ollie had me convinced that it was the right place just by speaking with him. The waiting area was amazing and comfortable and the shop and grounds were just as amazing! Alice at the desk actually became my friend the short time I was there. Just amazing, never saw this before!

The staff at Transmission Magicians is amazing, A+! My car broke down on the road as I was driving to Texas from Florida and I ended up taking it to this shop. They were able to do the work on my car and get me on the road again within a few days even tough they had many cars they were working on at the time. Randy, the manager, was specially helpful. Always communicating with me on the status of the car and even giving me recommendations on where to go eat while in town. I highly recommend this shop.

They had terrible customer service.

Broke down while out of town. Transfer case needed to be replaced. Took 5 days to repair and after picked up I noticed transfer shift lever was loose and not engaging. When I called the shop they *LITERALLY* told me they thought it was a woman’s truck and I wouldn’t be using the 4 wheel drive. WTH!! Also left bolts loose and was rude about the whole situation. STAY AWAY.

I had my transmission done over a year ago. It has worked flawless. I have had it rebuilt before by another shop but it was not right. My 99 silverado transmission shifts like it did when it was new. Twice I been to this shop and can not say enough about how much I appreciate them. First occasion I had a major transmission problem. They suggested that it should still be under warranty from the dealership and it was. Saving me thousands of dollars. Second time thinking it was a transmission problem. Turned out to be minor.
