Tony is such a nice man. He took a video of what my Audi Q3 was doing prior to him fixing it and let me know what needed to happen for my air conditioning to work. Auto Air provided excellent same day less than 1 hour service to diagnose & repair my daughters AC. Dylan did a good job explaining everything & also told me that if what they did didn’t fix the problem there would be no charge. Of course the problem was fixed with a 1 year warranty on the repair.I recommend this place. They were very busy, but I was in & out in less than 1 hour.

I was on the road just passing through Mobile and out of nowhere my AC stopped working in 93 degree weather. I was lucky enough to find Tony who checked out my AC and fixed it within 15 minutes to get us back on the road. I am still in disbelief of how incredibly kind and helpful he was, so glad I ended up at his shop and without a doubt, I would recommend it to anyone in need of exceptional service!!! I cannot recommend this shop enough. Tony, the owner, went above and beyond. I had been struggling to get the HVAC in my car working for about a week when my wife recommended taking it to him. So glad I brought my truck here. The A/C is super cold now and warranty for parts and labor is one year. If I can give more than 5 stars I would. The owner is super nice as well. He really loves what he does. They dont only fix A/C but will fix any car problem you have.

My Genesis Coupe just stopped blowing cold air. I am very leary of letting anyone work on my cars and usually do my own work. Needless to say age and my back don’t let me do the big jobs. I took my car to them and he told me my compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. Took it to him the night before and the next day it was done. Cold cold air. Best guys and best prices believe me I’m not gonna spend more money than I need to. But I do believe in paying for quality work. If you need ac work give these guys a try. You will not be disappointed.

A nice man said he was going to put freon in my ac...then saw my radiator fan...1 of 2 wasnt turning...he said he couldnt put in in knowing that..but told me that they could do it for 400.00 or more...called my man...he found one for 65.00 & also put it on my car..well hes gonna have a great night tonight 😝💋💞

Great group of guys who took care of me and did a great job. I have a 2000 dodge dakota. Blower motor stopped working and heater core was leaking. It is a pretty intense job. I did it four years ago and didnt want to do it again. You have to take off the dash pretty much down to the firewall and disconnect the A/C lines just to get to the HVAC box. Upon removal of the HVAC box they determined I needed a new one. Problem is, they do not make the box for my truck anymore. The guys were able to find one from a junkyard that was in good shape. Took about a week but they were thorough and everything works great now. Tony was great to work with. Communication was excellent. Anytime, they ran into a problem or progress was made, Tony would call me and let me know. Definitely recommend this shop. A+

This place was gonna charge me $1400 to fix my ac told me compressor was bad went got a second opinion cost 30 dollars to fix it was just a relay avoid this place

Tony(the owner) really treats you like family, he figured out that I just needed a wiring connector, and got me right in and fixed up, all in less than an hour and for a fair price. These men are true professionals and do quality work, if I have a/c issues again I wont take my truck anywhere else.

The best best Im from Baltimore MD and a long the rd my alternator quite working in my 1990 Chevy Van I was able to get it off the rd I googled a mechanic and auto air was the closest I spoke with Tony I think hes the owner anyhow they got and installed a New Alternator and had me back on the road in know time he put a New Alternator on and what he charged me was more than fair I tell you it was reasonable I wanted to tip him and his men he knew I was about eleven hundred miles from home and he didnt have to treat me this way but he did hats off to Auto air thanks

Absolutely will never come back again. They left a wrench by motor and did not properly fix the problem. My father thankfully knew how to fix the problem, otherwise my car would still be rattling. When I told the manager about what I was experiencing, the only thing he did was ask for the wrench back. How unprofessional!

A/C started running warm in our Odyssey van after driving 4+ hours in over 90 degree heat. Googled auto a/c repair in Mobile and found Auto Air of Alabama close to where our family is visiting for the week. Read 3 positive reviews and decided to give them a call. Soooo glad we did! Tony was courteous, professional, and thorough in his explanation of what was going on with the a/c which was.....NOTHING. He looked at my van right away and said everything was fine. My fee for his time and diagnostics? NOTHING. Told me he couldnt charge me if theres nothing to fix, he doesnt work that way. I was stunned. Didnt know there were gentlemen of such solid character and honesty still around. I took my car to Auto Air based on their online ratings and was met with one of the best customer service experiences with a car repair company. The staff was wonderful! And now, after 3 blistering summers, I am cool as a cucumber!

Was willing to help at a spare notice friendly staff

Took my 1999 Saturn SL in to see about an air conditioning problem in late March of 2018. The original compressor had made it nearly twenty years with no issues until a couple months prior, when a leak occurred. Both my father and I tried to trace the leak with dye on our own time, but never could pinpoint it. After going through a couple cans of freon, I finally called up this shop.Tony was the guy who answered, and we had a good conversation. He knew what I had already gathered online: aftermarket and rebuilt compressors for the Saturn S-series suck. None are known to be reliable past the first couple of months, save the lucky few. And at this point, I was concerned the leak was originating from the compressor. Tony said bring it in, and informed me of a $45 diagnostic fee, which of course makes sense; also pretty reasonable these days.Brought it in, and he confirmed the leak was coming from the compressor, and not from a seal that could be repaired. Tony was awesome though; he said he didn’t want to purchase a compressor for me since he knew their reputation, but that if I wanted to supply one and a new dryer, he’d be more than happy to install them, and gave me a quote for the full installation price (which was more than reasonable). As well, he wasn’t going to charge me for the diagnostic fee due to the nature of the situation.There was one compressor I had heard tale of on forums that some had been having luck with, from an online distributor separate from the big names known to have unreliable Saturn compressors. So I opted to purchase it on my own time and bring it in. The guys at Auto Air had it done the same day with no issues during installation. I picked it up the next, and am back to having ice-cold A/C!Tony still went another step further though, and asked if I would follow-up with him over time to let him know if the compressor works out, both so he could potentially start supplying customers with the product and, of course, if I need any issues worked out. Establishing this kind of report with a customer, especially a new one, is all kinds of awesome.I highly recommend Auto Air of Alabama West if you need A/C work done on your car. They also mentioned other services too, such as brake work and etc. Suffice it to say, this is one place that has earned my trust.EDIT 11/06/2018: The A/C on the Saturn is still going strong. Ive since taken a couple other vehicles from the fleet for different things, and have recommended two people over there, who have also had good experiences. Absolutely recommend them for any potential service you may need, and if they cant help, theyll point you in the right direction!

Tony and the staff at Auto Air of Alabama are awesome. I dropped my wifes truck off on Friday and Tony promised me it would be ready that day, I stopped by about 4 to check on it and he explained that the dealership sent the wrong part so he had someone driving a hour to a different dealership to get the right part. I wasnt upset and told him I would pick it up on Monday, Tony said no I promised it would be done today so he stayed till 9 to finish it and I picked it up on my way home from dinner. I would recommend Tony and his staff to anyone that needs their vehicle repaired I know I will be back.

Quick service and price was great.

I took my car there and trusted them, because of all the good reviews. They pretended that it would take 4hrs of labor to replace a condenser for my A.C. Unit. They charged me 400.00 in labor and 200.00 for a condenser(2008 ChevyUplander). I had a radiator replaced after they had cracked mines and found out that the condenser is located under the radiator in which it took 40mins to take off. They pretended to take off my entire front end to get to the condenser. Veryyyyy Dishonest liars.
