I would personally review in the negatives on this rental location. I have rented moving trucks before, & i have never dealt with such rude and unprofessional service as i encountered at this location. Rented truck for 3 days, (on their website in advance) and upon pickup, i ordered a 26 & was given only a 20, which cost me and my girlfriend another expense because we needed a 26 for a reason! and had to rent a flatbed trailer for 3 days as well. They tried to be demanding on it being back on the 3rd day by 5. First of all, we ordered in advance a 26 & a moving dolley.😠Instead we got a 20 and no dolley, which didnt know about until going to move out when trying to move the large items. Then were demanding it be back in time. I will never use then

A complete lack of customer service, vehicle wasn’t ready when they said it would be, they then told me they would call me when it was. I finally stopped by 3 hours after they said it was going to be ready only to be told they tried to call me. I have no missed calls or voicemail. He then said they had just finished up with the vehicle not to long ago so the story changed when I paid. Now I’ve been on hold for over 30 minutes while the person helps other customer, the phone call has been dropped 3 times. Each time pushing me back to the end of the line according to the snide csr.

My husband and I had very good service here. They were friendly and answered any questions we had.

Wow Uhaul has been frustrating to work with! Consider trying Enterprise, Budget, or Penske. I made a reservation several weeks in advance and they told me that I had to use my own vehicle, own gas, own time and that of my partner, to get a truck in another town. It wouldnt have been so bad if they had compensated me for my time and gas. Instead, the state rep told me that there were a bunch of other customers in line to take my place. Hows that for customer service! When a customer is moving, theyre busy with a bunch of other arrangements and may not have time to do the job that their paying Uhaul to do. Expect long waits on the phone with Uhaul and for customer service to tell you to call some other Uhaul line where another customer service agent will send you somewhere else. These guys desperately need some competition to hold them accountable and to improve their reservation system and customer service.

I had called Uhaul of Missoula to hopefully answer some of my questions on prices. After waiting 15 minutes on hold I proceeded to ask for some clarification on whether it would cost me more to have the Uhaul for a week or if that was included in the quote I got online. The man on the phone cut me off asking if I wanted to make a reservation and I said not yet, I was just trying to understand the pricing. He cut me off again and said he doesn’t understand my question. So I started to ask him my question again and the dude hung up on me. Definitely won’t be giving any money to Uhaul.

If I could give zero stars I would! We made an appt 2 weeks in advance to get a tow hitch installed. The person who made the appt said it would take 1-2 hours but to be there at 7 am and they would be able to get it done. After getting there before the manager/owner, who was late, he told us his employee gave us the wrong info and it would take about 4 hours. Okay cool. Call us when youre done. AFTER 9 HOURS he calls us back to say they didnt even have a chance to look at it and he didnt have the proper staff to even put it in. So after waiting 2 weeks and wasting 9 full hours of our weekend, I would never send anyone here to do any kind of business. Will not be going back.

Staff was rude to my kid who went in to get boxes and was talking about her as she left the store, came home in tears. Screw this place.

BUYER BEWARE!! This U HAUL location is a SCAM. They bate and switch your order and then up charge you. On top of the that the front desk people have major attitude. There are plenty of options to rent in Missoula. Do not rent from these jokers! They will rip you off!

Had to rent a trailer yesterday and the whole staff was very helpful and professional and nice. And even when I dropped the trailer and it was 97 degrees and these guys were running around all day, the kid that helped me was the nicest guy and super helpful. Always love going to these guys.

There was a very long wait to get my truck, and they only had 2 lines open. Didnt tell me about features on the truck (learned later it had a back up camera). They had trailers parked everywhere making it very difficult to back my truck out.

I will not rent from this place again!!! I was over charged for a full day and for mileage and I even returned the truck a day early in advance. I was completely ripped off !!! Never use this location again.

I rented a cargo van for the day. Brought it back an hour before the contract was up. Even returned it with more gas in the tank than when I picked it up.They charged my card for the customer that rented it after l returned it, who damaged the vehicle, which I was charged for as well. Because of their incompetence u-haul has lost a customer for life.

This place was terrible. Clerk was extremely rude! I needed to rent a car dolly. They said they didnt have one and couldnt assist me in finding one with uhaul (that was the 1st lie). I called Candy at U haul and She was super helpful in finding me a car dolly with uhaul.

They charged me for an extra day even though I returned my towing dolly on time. They didnt give a phone number on the receipt, just an email, so I emailed that account multiple times asking why they charged me and no one ever responded.

Stopped in to rent a trailer and get a ball for my hitch. The set up is a little confusing but they did a good job. The guy who helped us was new and took a little extra time with the computer but was very kind.

We had issues with our uhaul trailer on our cross country trip. The folks at the strand uhaul were super helpful and attentive at assisting us and making sure we were good to continue on our adventure. When we switched out trailers my wife forgot her wedding dress, which they fedexed very kindly to us. Thank you guys!

We had a hitch installed on our van here. We have rented multiple trucks from this location. Helpful. Good value.

I called them to ask what the cost was for getting an extra day. The guy told me that if I booked it with him right then he would give me an extra day. I told him I was unable to book it at that moment and he HUNG UP on me!!!!!!!! Didnt even give me the price of getting an extra day. Im very unimpressed. I called to speak to a manager and they were supposed to call me back and they never did. Very bad experience. I hope thats unusual for this office because I dont like to give poor ratings. And I wouldnt have given them such a rating if the manager had actually called me back. Leaves a poor taste in my mouth. Well be going with Budget Trucks.

We had a strap break on one of our dollys and they replaced it no-questions-asked. It was perfect

DO NOT ever purchase your hitch from uhaul and their wiring kit and have them install it. My boyfriend and I did this and it worked fine for towing the uhaul trailer, but a few months later we bought a little RV and it blew the tail lights in our car, which was really dangerous until we finally figured out they were out. We had purchased the warranty for the wiring but after talking to a very unhelpful uhaul person on the 1-800 line we learned that only certain locations can provide service, and the nearest one to us was 4 hours away. Without a choice we had to pay hundreds to have our car lights resorted and get an entirely new wiring kit installed. Our trusted mechanic said that whoever installed the wiring did a really crappy job and that was the cause of all of the issues (some googling of our problems also revealed many other complaints about uhaul). It also wrecked the lights on our trailer, which cost us another hundred or so plus a ton of time to fix. So long story short save yourself a ton of money and hassle up front and pay slightly more for a real mechanic to install the wiring when you buy a hitch.

The whole staff is amazing. Ive used uhaul many times and they are so conscientous and attentive to their customers. Keither, Scott, Dakota, Boyd... honestly all of the people ive interacted with at this location have gone above and beyond and really make this necessary step in moving so much easier.

Called in to order a truck, got it all reserved for 24 hours rental, drove down to pick it u . Turns out the lady on the phone lied it had been rented for the same day I rented it .They didnt even try to offer another truck or anything

This uhaul on strand absolutely sucks

Horrible!!! They never answer the phone, I have called 3 times a day for the past 4 days and Noone has ever answered the phone. I drive to the location and they closed 20 minutes earlier than they are supposed to.

Rented a 24 foot truck, to go 2247 miles. A/C broke after 300 miles. Poor maintenece of equipemnt, apparently!

Does not explain the charges and expense goes above budget because of hidden charges. Never renting from this location or uhaul at all. Budget gets my business.

Kind of a nightmare to find. The service was less than steller, in fact the manager was rude!

Very little parking at the storage units for Uhaul trucks to load and unload. Storage unit had birds and rats.
