We were traveling through the state of Montana when we ran into a car problem which wouldve hindered our progress on our journey. We stopped at the AutoZone on 3rd in Missoula. The store was near closing time but Brandon helped us find what we needed and gave us sound advice. Just want to give big shout out and Thank You to Brandon for the awesome customer service!!
Dont go to this store... I went there to borrow a Pittman arm removal tool. I was the only customer in the store. As I waited several minutes with products in my hand there were 3 employees behind the counter... The store manager and 2 employees. The manager started helping me and I said that I needed to borrow a Pittman arm puller he pulled up a power steering pump I said that was incorrect... at that point he gave up and acted like I didnt know what I was talking about and asked if I was having a bad day. He said we are short people and I wasnt the only customer that needed a part. I was still the only customer in the store and no one on the phones. Long story short I have never been treated with such disrespect in any business in my life.. Dont spend your money at this store. This person has no business in customer service.
This place is why I wish you could give 0 stars. I called in to purchase a 400 dollar part...worked with a guy that seemed new which is fine. He kept at it until the time came to make a payment. Then his supervisor grabbed the phone to inform me that they are swamped and that since I dont have an account on file through my new phone number they shouldnt do the transaction, but they will this time. We are swamped, we are totally swamped right now Not only is that not my fault, I wasnt aware there is a difference between calling and standing in their swamped store to do business there. Dude was rude, counter-productive, however deserves credit because he stopped me from completing my purchase and aided in my decision to shop elsewhere.
These guys are always so laid back and seemingly stress free. They take care of your needs and you move on with your day a bit more relaxed; kind of like they are! LoL
Incompetent people. Do not recommend this place, save yourself time, hassle and frustration and go To one on Reserve Street. Mike, store manager, should never have his position.
Store manager was more than helpful with information and price matching competitor stores as well!Store had a good energy.
This is a nice store. From my experience everyone working there has been friendly and professional. Sometimes they dont have what I need but at times they have let me know other stores I could try to find parts. It has always been organized and clean.
I went in randomly hoping that I could find a few random spare parts, and not only did they have all of them but Sam was so awesome and helpful. Promote her to regional management, she is the perfect employee and should be valued as such. 10/10
They were good enough. They are a bit understaffed and had too much going on, but they eventually got me taken care of once they were able to focus for a bit.The staff is generally friendly, especially the manager. He said they are actively looking for help so anyone looking for a job might want to try there. They could use the help.
Love this place staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Fast if you do have order something or even pay for something that another location has and pick it up. Always fast friendly employees and mostly well stocked for the items they do have.
I like to get all my parts here there always very helpful and you can get deals when u sign up
Jordan was absolutely wonderful in helping me pick my car parts. Very great with multitasking. He would make an excellent manager. Great vibe of the place.
Employee customer serviceShorter guy was very helpful. The taller guy was condescending. Sorry not sorry but making me feel bad for buying a outdated tool is not good for business. Maybe I have a old car or something but they have no right to make you feel bad for ordering a tool that may be outdated, whatever that means.
The staff was very helpful, and they had the right part. My old Chevy has been eating inner door handles for years. They had a heavy duty option that nobody else had and they soldi it to me for the same price because Id bought so many in the last few years. 1 every 6 months. LOL. Its been 8 months and the door opens as easy as ever and I think its fixed for good. Im still a hardcore Napa guy but AutoZone won this battle for sure. They stocked the part nobody else did and I will be back.
The only place I go to get parts, the staff here knows how to find just what you need.
I went in today looking for bulbs for my older car and had no idea what to look for but staff helped me find exactly what i needed and also got good laughs with them.. An Amazing experience with auto zone!!
They are really good with car parts, though I was here for a snack :/
So ordered several items with counter person on the phone and told him my wife will be in the next day around 3 to get them he said no problem whats her name. Told him and hung up. Wife went in as planned and no parts to be found and the person just stood there not helping at all (Sam was her name). My wife asked for a manager and this person began using the f word and yelling at my wife. Unbelievable customer service and in front of several other customers too. I guess my buissines and money isnt needed there.
Ron H. was professional and courteous. He went above and beyond to help me with a battery issue. Im highly impressed with his service. I would definitely recommend this place, and Ill be using this location for any of my future needs. Thank you!
Then please are not trained very well. They waste your time and confuse you. I recommend OReillys.
Pretty good - the one on reserve has waaaay more inventory though, just as a heads up
Appreciative of the support in installing bulbs, blades, and batteries. Wanted to tip but it was declined. The employee said “a smile is enough”. I will drive here over other auto parts stores that are closer to me.
I had to stop here after the Check Engine light came on in the middle of a road trip. The employee showed me how to use the code scanner. There was an instruction tag clipped to the cord as well. After the code scanner was finished, the employee downloaded the information regarding the cause of the Check Engine light and printed it out for me as well. Back on the road in no time, and knowing that it wasnt a critical issue made the rest of the drive more relaxing.
Great staff and they will go out of their way to assist you. Prices are fair. The only minor issue I have experienced on multiple occasions is the staff are not as knowledgeable when it comes to what may be causing your mechanical issue. True they are not a repair shop. AutoZone advertisement projects a little bit of a different scenario. The staff are great people.
The best customer service in town. Thanks autozone
I also came here for snacks. was disappointed.
Great place, theyll let you use their code reader for free: they will figure out why your check engine light is on.
Honestly the best customer service I have ever received!! Without going into a long story and drawn out details, this whole entire team went above and beyond to help me out. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you guys sooooo much!!
Really friendly and nice crew! Really helpful and also patient! Definently recommended and will return
I was driving through Montana and had a check engine light. I searched for auto parts stores in the area and chose this one just by chance.Upon entering the store, I observed two employees at the counter; one with a customer. I approached the employee who didnt have a customer; advised him that I had a check engine light and could someone check it out for me.The employee, bigger guy, glasses, salt/pepper hair and in need of some personal care, immediately barked, You can!. This caught the attention of the other employee who immediately advised that they could provide a tool for me to use. Then the original employee barked, Mam, you need a mask! There are free masks by the door! I dont want to get into wear/not wear mask here, but I was very appalled by the rude behavior of this employee. It seems he was so concerned that I didnt have a mask on that it was his obligation to be condescending to me because of it. I noticed he didnt have any problem handing me the check engine tool with his unsanitized hands but maybe theyre free from germs.Ive never had a preference for any of the auto parts stores, but after this encounter, I will choose the other businesses over Auto Zone no matter where I am.People dont quit eating at restaurants because of the food; they quit eating there because of the service.Maybe this store should keep that in mind.
Worst web site ever can’t find anything just takes you in a circle good job Autozone now I remember why I always go to O’reillys or Napa good luck
Its slow and employees are there to help. Great place.
I was a good shopping experience!!!
The guy was helpful and was able to look up the exact part that I needed.
Wanted to share the wonderful experience I had at this Auto Zone in Missoula MT a couple of weeks ago. Dakota Barriger gave me great service over the phone researching towing parts I wanted. I asked him if I could come in and work with him at the store and he said his shift was over in half an hour. I got to the store within 15 minutes and he acted as if he had all the time I needed to buy the parts and answer my questions. He even customized the hitch to accommodate the trailer I wanted to pull. Dakota went way above and beyond my expectations for service. I think I was super impressed as I had just had an experience with the big local RV dealership telling me they couldnt help me until the following week and it would be super expensive. Thanks to Dakota, I accomplished my mission and have a great impression of the Auto Zone Store in Missoula. Thanks Dakota!!! Barb
The manager was 10/10. He found blown fuses and replaced them for me along with replacing my bulbs that burnt out. He also gave me great advice
Inventory wasnt faced, so finding what I came for was difficult. Staff was not helpful.
Bobbie at the Autozone is my hero! Thank you for everything. - Kilty
I went in and ordered a part. The part vendor cancelled the order the same day. It has now been two weeks since order. Nobody informed me of cancellation even after calling multiple times. I was told that I have to wait for a couple more days for the store to build up enough cash to issue refund.
My hubby went to get me a battery and was told they do not put batteries in and were very unwilling to help us in any way. We called the Reserve store and Alyssa not only helped us but apologized for Ray and Josh’s unwillingness to help.Customer service is everything and if you are in a service job, you may want to take care of your customers. I will only go to the Reserve store.
Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Dakota helped me find what I was looking for as well as recommending comparable products. Franchise store that feels like a ma and pop stop.
Super helpful and friendly aaaaand they had my part
Very nice folks. Helped me out. Ty
Great people great prices just an all-around awesome store
Whoever waited on me--Skyler? --obviously wished he were anywhere but at work today. Fortunately he had called up the parts screen before ambling off to take a personal phone call, so I was able to retrieve a headlight replacement part on my own. Unfortunately, no one seemed to be able to check whether the intensity matched the headlight I purchased last time, so I had to wait until I got home to find out (it didnt, but close). Store seemed maxed out--phone ringing steadily, customers coming through the door. One employee waved vaguely at the back of the store and said SHE can help you; Im out of here. Sort of surprised to see a business so casual with the ones who pay the bills.
This store always has anything I need when I go but each time I’ve gone in, I’ve dealt with the same guy at the counter who I’m clueless as to how he has a customer service job. Dal is always very snippy and rude when I’ve gone to this store. When I ask questions, I should be helped and not spoken to like it’s an inconvenience to answer a few questions about car parts.
Good service
The stores employees are knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help you out.
Very knowledgeable staff and always willing to take the time to help install or explain to people who dont know a whole lot about cars! Everything is always in stock and on sale. Definitely my go-to spot.
Perfect customer service
Good parts fair price great warrantySam is really nice and very smart when it comes to knowing automotive parts. She is awesome.
Worst experience I have ever had at an auto parts store. Do yourself a favor and exit autozone and head directly to OReilly auto parts.
Called to get a battery and get it installed. They said they could do it for me. When I got there, the staff was rude and told me they werent going to do it, but I can buy the battery and they could call someplace and have it installed for me at a price.A worker named Ray was hollering around that he was sick of the main office sending people here and they only service commercial accounts. Completely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time.
Ian and Ray went way beyond normal service by assisting me with somebody that could do a drive shaft repair on my 96 Dodge. Made numerous calls around Missoula to find a good mechanic which turned out to be most excellent _ Gregs Transmission. Matt provided the diagnostic info that we needed. They made the repair on extremely short notice and it was a very busy time. We are very grateful. Thank you
Customer rep was helpfull, but we did not find the correct brake part. We will come again for other vehicle needs. All merchandise organized in store very well. Store is clean.
We were up visiting a friend a couple of months ago (yeah I forgot to write my review then, but just remembered today dealing with her car), anyways we needed a part that had come defective/broken after buying it from an Autozone here in Washington. Im glad we didnt decide to unpack it until we were even in Montana, ha, they just replaced it. Hands down the best customer service Ive seen from an auto parts store. Even my friend that lives there said he knows where hes going from now on for auto parts.
Great experience! Have to give a huge shout-out to Kevin he was so helpful with our brake light and fuse! Thank you Kevin so much! And thank you AutoZone for employing such helpful people!
Did not take long for all the info about the rental, we were able to rent the U- haul with no trouble and understood the agreement.
Its okay service
Autozone us always helpfull.
Brought in a pic of the part, they knew exactly what it was my son wanted! Very polite staff, clean store!! Thanks guys 😉
I had to get a new battery because mine was leaving me basically stranded places and the manager helped me. He was very kind and professional. He installed it in my vehicle and suggested helpful items to go with. I wasnt pleased with having to get a new battery but very pleased with the service. Thanks Kenneth!
Ian was incredible... He helped me change out my headlights... Even though it was freezing outside... Extremely awesome down to earth people! Thank you so much!
So I just happen to have a tail light out I stopped in there very helpful. Me the part right away and I didnt even think of electrical Grease and it really helped it made him that much brighter thanks
Hit or miss when it comes to knowledge. Brought a starter in to have it tested and the guy said it was fine. It wasnt. Couldve saved me 2 days of probing and testing.
The person who helped me today did not know his merchandise. I was looking for seat covers he tried to sell me 2 packages of them, I had to tell him that the packages contained 2 seat covers. I was buying one set for myself and one set for my daughter. One set was on sale for 19.99 the other was 32.99 when he scanned the on sale item he told oh sorry but they must have been in the wrong place. I have worked in retail for many years. It is their responsibility to have products priced right. He did let me have the one set at the sale price.
Super friendly staff and prompt with what I need great prices to
Great customer service! I know very little about truck maintenance, these guys were great. They helped me figure out the problem, and fix it. All for $4.65! So great to see engaged employees and great customer service. Thank you!
I broke down and was towed here. Not only was the customer service excellent, but they were really informative and the prices were great. I needed a part that wasnt available and it was there in less than 2 hours.
Great, seeing my son hard at work. He loves his job. Bought a battery and had it put in, in freezing temperatures to beat.
Good place to get your car fixed they even loan a tool to help you out
Dakota went above and beyond to replace the battery and headlights of my moms car. Outstanding customer service from him!
Very knowledgeable about the system on my specific engine! Helpful and friendly. Im so happy I went to Auto zone!
Decently friendly staff and helpful! Some good products! Also you can loan out tools to fix your car!
Very knowledgeable and helpful. I got just what I needed and good advice too. Excellent customer service.
Dal was super helpful helped me fix my issue really quick
Very nice and helpful
The part im looking for, i can find here at a better price than anywhere else, everytime.
They were willing to help had answers when I asked and were very polite will continue to use this AutoZone
Great people. Lots of hekp.
Fair price, and if the dont have it in stock, im sure Ray, Kristen, or Jade can find it for you.
I love having autozone in town. I last time I needed a party at 8 o clock at night. They were the only ones that had it. Clean store, helpful employees.
Ryan was very helpful! I was stranded while travelling through Missoula because my car key fob broke. He replaced the battery and repaired the broken plastic casing with super glue. Above and beyond!
Autozone always, always tries to upsell me. I went to get my summer tires on and they ripped one open on accident and tried to say that the tear had been there before (but the tires had been inspected already), and I was told that I had to drop $500 on a whole new set. After saying no to that they threw my spare tire on and left me with an unmatched set and an extra rim. Service is never straightforward there unless I bring my dad or boyfriend or male coworker along to discuss my business for me
Gave me a better alternator then what I paid for
Helpful with decent prices for the do-it-yourselfer.
Friendly staff who are more than willing to help and give advice.
Cant say enough how much I appreciate Ashley and help she gave me. Outstanding customer service!
Need the car fixed pretty good place to go to
Good
Just like OReilleys, depending on when you go in youll have a different experience. Sometimes theyre nice and helpful, and sometimes you get a dumbass with an IQ of his height... Doesnt know jack about cars and of course telling them how to do their job. Typical auto part store. I recommend you shop online unless you have no other option. The duralast guaranteed for life is an awesome program tho, but hopefully the closest store has good employees!
They had what I wanted and were quick to help me find them.
Much better parking lot than OReillys across third. Knowledgeable people.
Ok
Always good helpful people with parts knowledge.
Good but some staff need better training
Didnt have what we needed and there only seemed to be 1 employee.
