A lady giving the store 1 star because the citys parking meter had a coin stuck in it? Totally ridiculous. People need to understand that UPS is doing 3x the business they were a couple years ago and they are doing their best.
I absolutely agree with the other people who have had a bad experience at this UPS location. The owner Steve was absolutely rude to me. I arrived to ship a lightweight lounger with a preprinted label and because it was a bulky item he started to tell me that it didn’t meet UPS’ standards so he told me to go to the Brooks Street address because he thought they would be better able to help me. After driving to the Brooks Street location, I found out they were closed so I returned to try to mail my package again. He accused me of returning for a second time and making complaints. I tried to explain that I left and had to return because the information he gave me was incorrect and that the location was closed. Then he continued and told me that I would need a box. I told him I was okay with wrapping it with plastic. I asked him to explain to me what the UPS Standard was since it was a prepaid label so I could fully understand why the shipment would cost me anything out of pocket. I then asked what the cost would be. He proceeded to take measurement then told me it would be $56.00 out of pocket. This cost not only included the box but also payment to him for having to package my product. I told him I was already losing $100.00 shipping it back and I didn’t understand why I needed any additional package since it was a prepaid label and paying him $56.00 would give me $20-$30 after all that was already being deducted for my return and it didn’t make sense that I would need to pay anymore since I already had a label. Well this is when he had an even worse attitude telling me that I can either pay the cost of them packaging it, that he didn’t care if it shipped or not that it could be left on the side of the road for all he cared. Then he had the audacity to tell me that some things shouldn’t be bought online. I told him he was talking to a customer and it was up to me how I made my purchases. This was a very inconsiderate comment not taking into account that someone may need to all they can on a Saturday that they had off because this was their one day returning home after working out of state all week. Suffice it to say I knew he was trying to get out of shipping my package. So my package was not shipped. Thankfully one of his workers had a kind heart and offered to help me get my lounger back into my vehicle. What a terrible experience. If you can go to another location do it. It is not worth the stress and hassle dealing with Steve. He is a horrible owner and shouldn’t be in business.
Terrible customer support. I have a UPS broker account and I asked them to pickup and ship some items for me. In 10 years of doing business with UPS in over 20 states, this is the first time they declined. When I pressed them on it, they asked for a cashiers check to pay for the service and would not accept my credit card even though I have a UPS account and a Broker account. Its apparent based on their last reviews that their service has declined greatly. I had to file a complaint against this store at corporate headquarters. Real shame.
I left the store after asking for their staff to call the parking people because there was a coin stuck in the machine and I couldn’t pay for parking. I was informed that they have nothing to do with the parking and I left so I wouldn’t get a $20 parking ticket. Customer service was no where to be found. Remember the good old days when people would help other and go the extra mile, I miss those days. I will never go back to this store again.
I don’t like writing bad reviews, but this spot deserves a bad review...I asked to have my tickets printed out, two copies of a four page document, eight pages total. I emailed the [email protected] address after I asked the young fella if that was the address and he confirmed. A few minutes later, after not receiving my email, he informed me it should go to [email protected]. I then sent the .pdf to that email. The young fella got involved in another task and a young gal helped me out. She couldn’t figure out how to get the document not to print on one page so she asked for individual screenshots. I then took four screen shots and emailed them. I reiterated that I wanted double of each page, totaling eight pages. By the time my documents had been printed, I was so frazzled I didn’t bother checking to see if I’d received all eight pages, I just paid, took the stack and walked out. Well, I got home and I had only half of what I requested, one page of each, totaling four pages. The kids working there are nice (this joint would get one star if they weren’t), but nice doesn’t replace competent.
The people are wonderful, caring and always give the best service possible. I come here 4 to 5 times a year and they have never let me down.
Very rude service! I didnt have a mask because they lifted the mask wearing. I handed my package to the young man he acted like I had a plague. Then you charge $3 to print a label. I will not be back to this particular store.
My package was supposed to be delivered today. I tracked my package using the tracking number provided by Amazon and it said my package was in town and out for delivery. I also use UPS my choice for more accurate and expedient tracking information. I received an email on the same day saying my pack will be a week late. No apology or any reason, specific or otherwise, as to why my package was already here and then sent to a facility in Pennsylvania on the day it should be delivered to me. How incompetent do you have to be? I only live a few blocks from the UPS in town! And they sent it to the other side of the country! Now Im stuck waiting an extra week for something that should have only taken a few days to arrive. Not only am I inconvenienced but theyve made extra work for their employees in multiple states. Thanks a ton UPS. If I had the choice Id never use this service again.

I left an iPad in a Missoula hotel, and the hotel chose UPS to deliver it to me. I live in Alaska, and even ground delivery is outrageously expensive. Edric went above and beyond, calling me to get approval for the charges before sending the package; and he was efficient and helpful in assisting me with delivering it to a continental US address for a much lesser fee. I received an email with the tracking number and a kind note minutes after ending our call. I so appreciated Edric’s proactive and professional handling of my package. Thank you!!
I called a day in advance to double check the hours, and the employee who I spoke to had a very kind and welcoming tone over the phone. I went to the same UPS location the next day and was greeted with a warm welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Danny was professional, personable, and able to help me out quickly with my package. I would recommend this location!
The two young men were helpful did a good job for me. I had tried to do the same thing at staples and left there unfulfilled, so thankyou.
Worse shipping store. You want to log on to their computer to print a shipping label? Thats $3 for the log on and $3 for printing! Theyll nickel and dime you at every corner. I tried to get around all their attempts to charge me for an Amazon return they have a contract with UPS for, but I gave up. The manager had the gall the tell me they lost money with their Amazon contract, as an excuse to charge me for printing a label I emailed to them, that the employee confirmed he could scan from the computer monitor, but it was their policy NOT to, but to instead charge me for printing the label, which they would then scan...
I use it. There nice and patient with me as I fumble things up. Packages have always made it!
As an online seller, I have used this UPS location countless times over the past 6 years. They have always been patient, smart and helpful. This staff knows what they are doing all the time. I have brought in some very challenging items, not a problem for them. They also work well as a team. Owner Carla, Payden and every other staff member deserve to be recognized for excellence in the workplace! Ill miss them when I move!
Terrible customer service. Employees seem to have no knowledge on when packages arrive and werent very helpful when it came to asking where my package was. Go to the main hub on International Drive or to the store on Brooks they are more helpful
Needed to ship a amazon return and print the label. Don’t have access to a printer so went to print at the ups store and ship package. They said it would be a $3.00 flat fee plus .10 per page. I expected to pay to print a page but $3 flat fee is terrible customer service.
From the moment I started researching where to send my mail, before moving out here from Maine, these folks were at the top of my list. No one was nicer or more helpful. It didnt matter if it was about their services or not, they did what they could to point me in the right direction. Customer service like no other and very much appreciated.
The staff here is super friendly and helpful. I drop off packages all the time and they always welcome me with a smile:). Other shops charge to redux tape that has popped or have you sign a release to drop packages off! This is the only shop in town that has great customer service!

Daughter shipped some Christmas gifts via UPS to be delivered to the UPS Store on Broadway since I would probably not be home if delivered to my house. I got concerned after several days of not hearing anything about the shipment, so got the tracking number and tracked it down. Found out it had been delivered to the store four days earlier. Went to pick it up the next day, got charged a delivery fee plus a dollar a day that the store had the packages, total twenty dollars. They never tried to notify me when the shipment arrived, so could have cost me much more had I not become concerned. First and last time dealing with this store, and Ill stick to FedEx next time.
I use this store in downtown Missoula on a regular basis. The staff is friendly, and professional. Dont let the google reviews give you a different impression of this store: they are great. Great location downtown, and the crew has been consistent over the years, which doesnt happen much these days with all of the turnover that many stores face. 5 stars from me!

Im a box holder there and get my mail foreword to me out of town. Loved this place when the old owner had it. The new owner lost my mail two times. New employees every month. Very disorganized with stuff stack all over the place. Cant even get to the garbage can.Ill be moving my business when I get back to Missoula this Spring to Brooks st

We visited this UPS store in Aug 2010. The staff that day was very professional, pleasant, and helpful, even offering suggestions particular to packing and shipping my sons guitar back to NC after attending the performance camp there in Missoula. We were in and out very quickly, and the guitar arrived safely in NC when expected.
Yesterday I was trapped by delays in the airport and could not get to the UPS Store in Missoula before they closed. I called from Denver and they immediately agreed to drop off the box at my hotel. KUDOS! In a world where service is in short supply and people usually only help when they have to, this store and this owner stand way above. You saved the whole purpose of my trip - THANK YOU FOR A CAN-DO ATTITUDE.
Paydn (with no vowel in between d and n) was very professional and on top of it. During this visit, two other people came into the store and I watched him juggle three people without missing a beat. When I first walked in, there was a person from the back that had walked straight out to see if I needed help, and Paydn did at the same time without ignoring me. The person who wrote a previous review was right -- they do work as a team here. This is my third visit to this store and have been consistently impressed with their positive attitudes and professionalism. Our family will continue to be returning customers. Thank you.

Ran by idiots... needed about 1 inch of tape on a package, but they wouldnt give me that (cost to them - probably less than $0.001) because the package had a prepaid label. Went to the other UPS store. These guys seriously dont deserve to be in business, they wanted 50 cents. Thats a thousands of times markup, and terrible for customer experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this store. They dont seem to understand that for a cost of well under a penny they made the difference between someone whod go back when they had packaging needs and someone who wouldnt dare go near their store again. Other businesses would kill for the opportunity to win or lose a customer based on a < one cent cost.

Run by idiots. Clearly asked if the package was going to get dropped off or it needed a signature and they got it wrong somehow. Asked what time it would be dropped off and ended up leaving for work after waiting all day for the important package. I get to waste a week now. Thanks UPS! Quality Service if you live in hell.
Shipping places are all pretty much the same for me, prices vary depending on what and where youre shipping things, but what sets this place apart is an incredible couple of service staff. I cant speak to everyone that works there, but whenever I go in its one of two young guys who are absolutely outstanding.
I make it a point to go here. The staff is always welcoming, prompt, and helpful. Danny is the man.

Went to the UPS Store Brooks Ave., Missoula, MT yesterday December 22 paid air shipping overnight for food to be delivered to my mother Friday, December 23 called my mother December 23 found out package was nowhere to be found called the ups store they said the package was still at there store not picked up by the drive, horrible service,went to usps amazing service, dont go to the usp store
