My daughters iPhone crashed during a software update and was stuck in a continuous re-boot. We tried resetting it but no luck. Todd fixed it in 20 minutes. Extremely happy with the service!
The dude actually just hung up on me while I was trying to discuss getting a pair of Beats headphones fixed that broke in half from light usage. Unbelievable.
My MacBook Pro had the dreaded keyboard issue, so I finally got fed up enough to get it fixed. I wish I hadnt waited so long. The whole process was quick and easy. I made an appointment, backed up my computer, and it was all fixed in less than the estimated time. Taylor provided excellent communication and had my computer back to me before I even had time to wonder how much longer it would be. Im very grateful.

The staff at Simply Mac are very friendly and helpful. I usually work with Apple directly since there’s not an Apple Store in Missoula, but working with Simply Mac was so much easier and efficient. They are conveniently located inside the mall, right inside the entrance at Red Robin.

Todd ! What a great guy, I think he is the manager there. Anyway I have an old Mac pro that worked great until my son corrupted everything to the point i couldn’t even load the OS on it. Todd went way above and beyond to repair my “vintage” Mac. I live in Great Falls so it meant leaving the computer there, he told me he would continue trying to repair it, and I could pick it up the following week. Yes ! Yes! He fixed the old girl up and at an extremely reasonable price.... I highly recommend Todd’s store !
Absolutely terrible customer service.I bought a charger here and tried to return it. I was one day past the 14 day return policy (my mistake, I take responsibility for it) but was obviously bummed that I couldn’t get my $90 back.All of that’s fine until I said “Gosh. That’s a bummer since I didn’t use it and couldn’t get out here to the store sooner.”The customer service rep today (guy in his forties with glasses and a beard) responded in an incredibly condescending tone “Well we’re not a rental company!”This guy clearly hates his job and customers coming in.I don’t blame him, just wish he’d get a different job instead of being a jerk.
Helpful staff, but didnt find a good case at a good price. I want to shop local, but items that are more than double the online price are a stretch.

This is the worst store ever. Ive called multiple times trying to find an Apple iPhone charger cable. No one answers the phone. After waiting for 5 minutes a message comes on urging you to go to their web site and buy online. What a way to run a store!!! I doubt this will help anyone. Hopefully you experience will be better.I did go online and went to the AppleStore.com site and got exactly what I wanted. I know Apple is way overpriced but Ive had several non-Apple charge cables and the electrical connection fails after a very short period.
Honestly was very surprised and happy. I came in with my gf to get her phone screen replaced. They informed us after we got there that it would need to be a full unit replacement. Sadly we had just drove all the way from Dillion to get this done. And were very disappointed. After telling us the price we decided to go to Costco and get a new iPhone. The lady at Costco then turned our service off and that we had to update the phone and get everything transferred.Distraught and without a phone we decided to pop back into simply mac. The employee Jonathan was fantastic. He communicated every step, helped my gf calm down and feel much better. He was bouncing between 3 customers and I can tell you none of us felt ignored. Really cool guy. I believe I heard him say he was one of the managers to another customer which tells me good things. Thanks for the help man. Keep it up. My buddys know where to go for Apple help.

Worst service I ever experienced in a Simply Mac store or Apple store.I went in expecting to purchase a fully loaded MacBook Pro 16. I was the only one in the store. The employee was unwilling to explain anything to assist me. (And I am easy going. Not abrasive or demanding at all.) I finally said to him trying to get you to help me is like pulling teeth. Do I have to ask you every question to get an answer or can you just educate me a little about what I am buying. He just looked at me with no motivation. In my head I decided if this is what their service is like, I do not want to buy a computer here.If the store manager reads this, I was in the store around noon on 9-4-2020. This employee is not doing your reputation any favor. Next week I will drive 200 miles to Bozeman, where I have heard their service is better.
I VERY rarely write reviews but going in today was one of the most awful experiences ive ever had. The man working there today was incredibly rude. He clearly hates his job and the customers coming in. He was unhelpful, short, and the whole experience left me feeling really bad. I would never suggest anyone going here. Go literally anywhere else
This store was unfortunately chosen for a ram upgrade. When the computer was returned and “upgraded”, the screen fell out. LOL. Uh. Upgrade, not downgrade guys. C’mon! Bwhaahahaha. Laughable at best.

I had an iPhone that was in good condition. I didnt have any overall issues with software or anything, but it was a few years old so its battery didnt have the same life. Around the time Apple was having controversy over slowing phones down, I decided I wanted a new battery. I didnt know how I felt about the controversy. I was a little skeptical, but that was it. I just wanted a new battery and I was willing to pay for it. First off, they were absolutely no help and very dismissive. I did ask about the controversy in relation to my phone, but I was very nice about it and was just trying to learn about it. They got offended and refused to service my phone. My husband and I just walked out. I ended up purchasing a Pixel 3 to replace my iPhone. It was a mistake. Im heavily considering switching back to an iPhone, but definitely will not seek help from this store if that happens.
I was hesitant to take my MacBook Pro anywhere but directly to Apple but Simply Mac did a fantastic job. Their technician, Taylor, did a great job keeping me posted on the status throughout the process and did a perfect repair. Great work!
Called them to see about fixing a keyboard and they said it would cost hundreds and it isn’t covered by warranty.I asked them about the warranty (publicly disclosed by apple) for the exact problem I was having and they said they couldn’t disclose whether or not it was covered. (What?! Product warranties are very public - took me under 30 seconds to find it.)I hung up, called apple directly, and they said it would be free, and take the same amount of time, and they’d fix anything else wrong with it while they had it.No idea why I’d support this store after that.

I would rather drive to Spokane or Seattle than deal w these people. They are rude and condescending on a regular basis. I’ve been in there several times over the years and hate it every time. Long waits, no follow up and over priced repairs. Calvin at Allied computers in kalispell is awesome for Mac repair and help.
My phone battery would not charge. I went to the store and they looked at it and tried a couple of things, which didnt work and then the replaced it for me and it is working great now! Thank you so much for your prompt service. I know that not all problems are that simple but they really helped me out of my jam!

Im very disappointed with the repair department. I bought a new iMac in May and it stopped working. I called Simply Mac and they said they could do the work and cover it under Applecare. It has been over 4 weeks. I had to call 9 times to get updates. They made no effort to reach out and give me updates. This is for a business computer. Ive lost thousands of dollars.The manager Shelby promised to call back on Monday... its now Thursday. I had friend tell me they had a similar experience with Shelby Seriously? How does she still have a job? I called Apple direct and they told me to pick up the computer and take it to the Computer Guys. Buyer beware. Dont get repairs done at Simply Mac! Their staff has zero customer service skills and they just dont care.
I am grateful for Simply Mac. Ive been trying for a month to order Apple products direct from Apple and they keep canceling my orders. I happened to be traveling through Missoula and remembered Simply Mac. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with everything I needed.Thank you, Simply Mac.
I’ve had phones in the past that needed fixing but this was my first time here. The staff was friendly and open. They explained the things that I didn’t understand and made me reassured that when I came back for my fixed phone it would be working properly (other places have made past phones more broken not fixed.) When I came back it was fixed and looking shiny and brand new. It runs great now and price was cheap. If anything happens to my phone again I will definitely be coming back here.
Ive had multiple issues with my 2016 Macbook Pro and the staff here has been helpful every time. Twice now Ive had a full motherboard/hard drive/keyboard/memory replacement and this most recent one resulted in a full crash with data loss. I went in completely deflated and they assisted me with recovering some data, ordering the repair and even helped me find a solution for a temporary machine to use (while mine was being repaired at Apple). Nicely done guys!

Me and my boyfriend are in the market for TWO MacBook pros with Touch Bar. We walked into their store and were not greeted. One sales rep was helping a customer and two other sales reps were behind the counter chatting(looked like training) so we just slowly walked around the store and looked at inventory. About 5 minutes later, still no greet. We left the store. We returned the next day, same exact story. No greet at all. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

I worked here for a little bit. I can say that there are things the company needs to work on as a whole, one is not being focused solely on profit, two is communication, and to work on understanding the Whys of why an employee did one thing rather than assuming. Simply Mac has a bunch of goofs, fun to work with mostly, on some occasions we butt heads.On the other hand, if youre not a good multitasker, or really great with communication Id search somewhere else for employment, this job tends to get on peoples nerves. Simply Mac is very fsmily oriented so its hard to really fit in.
Thought Id have to go to a genius bar 200 miles away but Simply Mac handled my problem quickly, easily, and inexpensively. Just as good as an Apple store but faster and cheaper.
Fast and Furious, Clean and Sweet, They got me up and running STAT.All of that and they made the experience easy. What I liked most was they didnt try and game me.

Customers standing all over the store waiting patiently for one of the 4 associates working in the store was my experience at Simply Mac. I stood and waited my turn and watched as each person was professionally helped with their unique need that day. Although I was in a bit of a hurry myself, I realize it wouldn’t really be practical to have more than 4 staff on hand in the middle of a weekday, so I waited for about 10 minutes to drop off and then 5 minutes to pick up my phone for a battery change.My overall experience in the store and with the staff was first rate and I’d say that although it’s not an Apple company store, it’s really hard to tell the difference. They even have significantly reduced pre-owned equipment for sale at a wide range of prices/options.

I recently had the privilege of working with two different young men on two different occasions. I found them both to be knowledgeable, patient, kind and very helpful.
Extraordinarily slow service, its quite incredible seeing as they’re The greatest Apple partner in North America. Maybe it’s just the Missoula store.... Plan on making several trips to the store for updates, you will not be able to reach them by phone. Callbacks after messages do not seem to be returned either so don’t bother.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.I took my computer in to get the keyboard fixed and they said I would get it back within a week and that they would call me with updates. I never got a call. not once. I called them after 2 weeks and they said it still wasnt done, but they would call me within the next few days with an update. No call. This kept happening and it took around a month to get it back. Im a college student and needed my laptop for school. WORST service ever. This exact thing happened to my friend with her airpods, but they said it would be free, then ended up charging her a lot, and they said it would take about a week at most. They NEVER called. and it took over a MONTH to get them back. She called multiple times and went in to the store to check on them, they were absolutely no help. DO NOT come here.
I have gone to this store twice, and every time they have been utterly incompetent and unable to fix my basic service issues (both with my MacAir and Iphone), and have demanded to keep my devices for extended periods of time. I would rather drive to Seattle to have my devices fixed than send them to Simply Mac.
I would give Simply Mac 0 stars if it was an option.I came in because I had a spill on my laptop keyboard, and I wanted it cleaned up and a diagnostic run to make sure there was no liquid damage. Not only did they say that they would look at it that night and didnt get to it until two days later, but when I picked it up there was still liquid goo from the spill on my keyboard. They had opened my laptop but didnt even bother to clean anything like I had asked. It was a Mac book so there was no way I could get to the keyboard to clean it my self.Then, when I went to leave, I asked if I should pay now, and they didnt know if I had already paid or not. So they asked me to look up my bank statement to see if I had already paid. I hadnt, so I was honest but could have not been and I am still kicking my self for paying the 70 dollars to not have a clean laptop.
If you have a broken screen DO NOT take it here.I took my iPhone here and the man at the shop said No problem it will be done in 3 to 5 business days.Needless to say that didnt happen.I was told Apple branded my phone Abused and used the word fraud and they wouldnt repair the screen but instead charge me over $300 for a replacement. Two weeks passed and the replacement never came. Simply Mac did a poor job of communicating with me with about the status of the phone. I called repeatably and was told Apple hasnt gotten back to us and I eventually had to cancel the whole thing and order a new iPhone.DO NOT USE this service for an iPhone repair,They will royally screw you over.
I wish I could give six stars! I have taken Macs to Simply Mac for several years and they have ALWAYS gone over and above. Excellent communication and friendly service. I have recommended them to everyone!

I DONT feel its right to charge to fix a problem that I didnt cause, my tablet went dead, I recharged it, the only thing that came up it would ask for a passcode. I never had a passcode on the tablet. They had to clear it to get to work. The Staff was great to work with, very kind and professional.
The two guys who helped me were very patient and helpful. They solved easily my problem.

I had done my research and went in with the iMac I wanted in mind. Michael spent enough time with me to help me choose the product that was just right for me. I appreciated his time and good service.
Would give zero stars if I could. Took my iMac in because the headphone port was misaligned. Took them almost 10 days to fix. Had to call after a week just to get an update. Then I brought it home and the port is still broken and now my USB C ports dont work either. Called to complain. Got nothing more than a limp apology. No offer to try and make it right or anything. Go elsewhere and spare yourself the headache. As a side note, we also requested a backup before service and bought an external hard drive just for that purpose. They never did the back up. Glad there wasnt a lot of risk of losing my data during repair anyway because theyd have probably screwed that up too.

Like being angry and frustrated? Then you’ll love the mental Chinese water torture that is attempting to get helped at Simply Mac in Southgate Mall. If they tell you a month, make sure you know it will actually be 2-3 and when you do get helped they’ll be unable to solve your problem.

Took my iPhone here because it was under warranty and had software issues. They said they would backup my phone and send it to Apple for repair. I got my phone back and nothing was backed up. I went in and told them and the guy said “sorry man” I lost a lot of sentimental pictures of my uncle that passed away. And I get “sorry man” do not give these guys service. They are incompetent.
I went in January 17th to have them repair an Iphone X screen ($300). I was informed that in-house repair was not an option for the Iphone X and that it had to be sent off to an official apple repair technician (which they say they are), taking 7-9 business days. A week later, I come back and was informed that my phone was Sitting. In. Storage, idle for 7 days due to an error ordering a new screen, Well I thought they were going to send it off? Apparently not. Also, I never received an e-mail informing me of ANY of this.The disorganization and failure to contact me with a notice of what is happening makes me never want to step foot in this place again. And I probably wont when I receive my phone. Thankfully today, January 24th, the assisting employee was very quick to apologize for the inconvenience and did his best to resolve the situation, mentioning that they will be able to fully refund me or do an in-store repair and have it up and running in 4-5 days. Hopefully they dont screw it up this time.
Arrogant and pompous sales staff. They think a 4 to 6 week wait for a phone battery is great service. Most expensive phone on the market combined with less than courteous service.
Poor experience. It was obvious what the issue with my laptop was and they still had to run a diagnostic and charged me for it. After running the diagnostic, said they would call, never did. I called multiple times for 2 weeks to get an update, and each time, they did not have an answer for me. When they finally responded, they gave me an incorrect estimate of how much it would cost to fix it. It ended up being double what I was told.

I can only assume the employees are complete imbeciles. Made an “appointment” for a battery replacement after my phone said it needed replacing.Appointments arent a thing, you are managed as if you walked in. The employee wouldnt respond to my small talk or even acknowledge my existance on the other side of the counter except to have me sign things. . After diagnosing that I needed a new battery said it couldnt be started for another hour and it would take an hour. He took my number and email but refused to take a number to call me at while repair is occuring. I signed the consent form acknowledging that my data may be lost and left my phone and repeated I would be back in 2 hours for it.Come back 2 hours later after pattering around town for 2 hours and they say “oh we didnt know that you wouldnt be back we havent started the repair we need your consent” after which they said ok we can start it now, I didnt sign anything else or saying anything other than OK and they took it off for repair. So at this point I wont leave the store because im sure they wont do the repair again. Watched the rude employee make nice polite small talk with another customer for the whole 45 mins and it was done, 3 hours after I first walked in for my “appointment”.
Made an appointment with them through the Apple website 2 days prior for when I would be passing through Missoula (I live 3 hours away and was on a trip through) and wanted to stop and get my battery replaced before I left the next day, I even made plans to stay over the night to give them time to fix the phone. I get down there and right off the bat they tell me that they need to make an appointment with me through “their” system and that it is going to cost me an extra $20 for me to pay there technician fee, which I could live with. So I give them my info and they then tell me that they will email me another appointment time! So I ask them if they are going to be able to get me in right now, since I went ahead and made an appointment through Apple, and he said “No, It will be about 2-3 weeks before we can get the battery in and then we will set up an appointment to have the phone fixed. What’s the point of making an appointment if it takes 3 weeks to do? I had another phone done 2 months ago in Portland, OR and all I did was make an appointment that morning and had it done same day. Complete waste of time and money to stay over. Guess I’ll replace it myself for half the price.
They promised to replace the feet to my Macbook and after a month waiting for the parts i had to go there to be told that they couldnt order them, when I had been told that they could have them the week after. No call, text or email were sent despite the fact they had all my details.Very unprofessional!

My 4 year old macbook pro was shutting off randomly. I took it in and after having diagnostics ran on it, it was suggested that I replace the battery. I took the suggestion but after getting my computer home the problem persisted. I took it back, explained the situation and Michael took the time to run multiple tests, explain why he was running the tests and what they would hopefully reveal. He discovered the actual issue with my computer and solved the problem, he didnt just put a bandaid on it. My mac is home and running like new! Thanks again!!
Really disappointed with the way they charged me to hold my on bottom on my iPhone for 30 seconds. I went in because my phone wouldn’t turn on and he held the button for 30 seconds, it turned on and he asked for $20. Shame on you, I will never go back. I expected to pay but nobody deserves that much for less than a minute of work.

I am so mad at these people!!! They tried charging me 70 bucks as a deposit just in case if something is wrong. All I wanted to do was get into my computer!! The manager said to give him 10 minutes to think about it. I am so freakin mad right now. He had me walk around so he could think about it!! I did not give him my buisness. In reply to your reply... the manager was a horrible person to talk with. He was scared of offering me a deal because he didnt want me telling my friends about it! I told him that my friends were in Florida, where I am from, and he didnt have to worry about that. He said That is not the point then tell me... what was the point! I would not reccomend going to this store. EVER!!

I took my computer to Kalan with a problem that turned out to be a real beast. While he was working on my MacBook, Kalan went out of his way to get me the files I needed when I needed them & only charged me what he quoted me, though the project certainly ended up taking up much more of his time than he had anticipated. I would happily do business here again!

The people seem friendly and professional BUT trying to get someone to answer the phone here is almost impossible. Be ready to make a drive into the store if you have a question. Ive been calling since 10:05 am on Monday and its now 10:35 and so far I have not spoke to anyone yet. This is a service rating not a product rating. In laymans terms Service Sucks.
