Missoula Mac repair quite literally saved my semester. As a nursing student I need a working computer quickly. After multiple referrals from other computer repairs stores I decided to visit a man named Chad in a room in the Bike and Type building on Higgins. Not only did Chad work tirelessly to fix my laptop he was one of the easiest and kindest person I have ever worked with. I ended up with a working computer, a greater understanding of how to care for my computer and he even helped me back up all of my important photos and documents! We were in between IT techs at my employment when my Mac book had issues rendering it unusable. Extremely helpful, I went in for a bootable installer to go from Catalina back to High Sierra and Chad was prompt and knowledgable. He also gave me detailed instructions on how to complete the installation at home, instead of asking for that service fee.

Chad at Missoula Mad Repair literally changed my world for the better. My older MacBook Pro had a very noisy fan, an old battery, a bad DVD player, and multiple malware issues. The authorized Mac repair store wouldn’t work on a machine that was so old. Another local repair company really had a PC focus with Macs on the side and was too expensive for my company’s budget.Then I discovered Missoula MAC Repair, a company new to our area. Their website and one phone conversation with Chad convinced me to take my computer in the following day. Twenty-four hours later, I picked it up and discovered the Mac I thought was gone forever. Chad ordered a new battery and fan, cleaned out extensive malware problems, replaced my DVD player, and totally tuned up the machine. It is quiet and operating beautifully. The entire process cost me $305 for all the new parts and his labor. I couldn’t be happier.

My Macbook Air is an older model, and when it seemed fried and wasnt able to turn on due to water damage, I feared the worst. I took it to Missoula Mac Repair and Chad professionally explained all the procedures he would go through to attempt a repair. He explained what would happen if it required new parts, the pricing associated with each step of his process, and our options if the parts required would be too expensive to make a repair the very best option. If that ended up being the case, he gave me the pricing and option to have the information from my drive pulled. He notified me that he would hold my computer overnight and call me the next day with his results. Sure enough, I received his call the very next day and he was able to repair my Mac!! The cost of repair was very reasonable and the whole process was incredibly smooth. Chad also notified me of a 90 day warranty on his services, so if I needed to bring it in for any odd, post-repair behavior, he is more than happy to take another look. I took my perfectly functional iphone with a cracked screen to the Apple store. After a very long check-in process, I was told it had been selected to be repaired off-site and I would have to leave it. A week later I was notified that the screen couldnt or wouldnt be fixed unless I paid to replace my logic board. No one could tell me what was wrong with my logic board or how it could be defective if my phone was working perfectly fine when I brought it in. Seemed like a scam to me, but luckily I had just read about Missoula Mac Repair and their philosophy of trying to repair rather than replace Apple products. They found no issues with the phone other than the screen. It was replaced within an hour and the phone works fine. Skip Apple and go to Missoula Mac Repair first!
