I bought my wedding dress on May 22nd, 2020 at Bridal Gowns Orange County and they immediately send me over here because my wedding was set for August 16th. I was told that they were amazing and could do anything (by BGOC) so I did go in expecting good service. The dress I bought was several sizes too large so Araceli had to take it in and I asked for a little more sweetheart neckline and a bit of a see-through section in the back. The first photo is when I bought it at the initial try-on, and the others are from my wedding day. Overall, this was a very bad experience. I live in Pasadena, and so to drive down to Mission Viejo usually takes about 2 hours one way with some traffic. I let Araceli know that this was the case right off the bat, in the hopes that this would eliminate multiple try ons over and over. Unfortunately this was not the case. I drove down a total of 7 times (thats 28 hours driving for anyone counting) and my dress was always almost done. One time Araceli completely forgot I was coming, even though it was definitely on the books. She said she was sorry but.. thats a 4 hour drive for nothing. Other times I came down and it just didnt seem like much was done. I started calling to be sure that she remembered I was coming down for a fitting just in case. I finally got my dress on July 28, over two months after the initial fitting and wish some pushing by me for it to be done in the end! I was just starting to be afraid it wouldnt be done at all.All of that wouldnt have felt so bad if I loved my dress and how it fit in the end. You can see from the photos that there was strange bunching under my chest and in the hip area, as well as making some back fat roll in the back more prominent and some of the same situation under my armpit. I want to note that I did not gain or lose a single pound from day 1 to the end, so weight change is definitely not the cause. from the side, it also made my stomach look bigger than it was.. I think because of where the corset hit. Fortunately, we had an amazing photographer and Ill still have some good photographs. I just wish I could have felt like I looked better in my dress on my wedding day. The total cost for alterations was $350.

Bad experience. I came in with a brand new bridesmaids dress for alteration, gave her a week to shorten it a few inches. I showed up at 3:30pm the day of... she yelled at me to come back at 4pm- I replied with- I gave you a week and youre waiting until the last 30 minutes to work on my dress?! I was not happy. After trying on, it had a stain on the front which she mentioned was already there. (It was brand new!) I will not be using this tailor again. Very pricey on top of that.

Always later than promised, so I am giving four stars rather than five stars, but quality of work is good and prices are fair. You have to give her an earlier deadline than your real deadline and call before coming to pick up.

First time ever going to this tailor, was very satisfied with the entire experience and dont feel the need to look for a tailor again. They saw me as a walk-in without an appointment and helped me immediately. It took almost no time at all to get the measurements done and I was on my way. My suit was finished by the time they had expected and looks great, will 100% be going back.

Great work, and Aricelli even offered to alter my dress again at no extra charge if her recommendation didnt turn out how I wanted (it did.) As some other reviewers mentioned, my order was a bit late (just two hours) but Aricelli texted me to let me know. Ill definitely be back for other alterations.

I will begin by saying the quality of work is good and the price is very reasonable. However, there has not been one time in 5 years I have used Brazilia in MV in which my order was ready by the date they gave me. What is so ridiculous is that I have NEVER seen a tailor take 10 days to alter a dress. Even when given a come back in 10 days... it has NEVER been ready. I swore the last time I used this tailor I would never be back. Very sad really- the work is good and the price is great. However, if I performed like they do in my job... I would have been fired years ago.

I would give this shop a minus 10 if I could.In the past three months, I’ve taken three separate orders to Brazilia Express Tailors in Mission Viejo. My orders have been small, like sewing military name tape on BDU blouses, and adjusting vests. On each order, the owner committed to completing each order from 10 days to 2 weeks. This is hardly “Express” service. I am fine with this since I didn’t ask for express service.Every order wasn’t ready when I was told they would be. As a result, I made unnecessary trips and had to go back a again (for each order) to pick up my clothes.The owner is unapologetic and claims the shop is busy each time. I can’t believe she is late on every order for all her customers, but she has been unreliable with every order of mine.If you seek dependability in a tailor, and expect your clothes to be ready when they say they will, forget this shop.

This is my first review, Because she is so amazing I just had to share!!A++I went their with a Wedding dress emergency. Not only did she work a flippin miracle but she was 100 less than my other quotes and she treats you like family!

Great Aracelli has done my clothes for years she is popular and sometimes you might have to wait an extra day but its worth the wait
