I take my 5 stars back this gym has gone down hill its dirty than ever its a shame with covid still out there garbage overfloaded napkins on the machines and floors serious pressure cleaning on the pool area the steam an sauna are disgusting empty bottles every where the gym stinks. The only thing nice about it is the front desk staff very polite. The spa is practically half way full an dirty on all the corners inside the water uff unbeleivable. What is the annual cleaning fees for from all of us?, so many clean gyms and cheaper out there. Lastly 24 hr.... holds us hostage with a contract or other fees. Some one needs to speak to the regionals its disgusting.

I decided to try the free pass before committing to a membership and thankfully I did that first. The gym was alright but for the price youre going to be paying you might as well go to another gym. Alot of the machines were dirty or falling apart. It looked like a mess in there. My favorite part was the squat racks but I rather pay another gym where its much cleaner and has newer equipment.

I’m only reviewing hoping to be heard by mgmt. Would be 5 stars IF STAFF WOULD ORGANIZE WEIGHTS. Everything is always an absolute mess and it is annoying when you are following a specific workout program and you’re paying for a certain something to be there. It’s standard for a gym to have people making rounds a few times a day to (unfortunately) clean up after people. Staff is most def lazy at this gym. Yea, no one should have to but it is what it is. Also I think if it wasn’t already a mess, it would perhaps encourage people to put things back where they belong. But honestly how things are, i sometimes don’t rerack because I don’t even know where the weight belongs.

Customer service is horrible and they have favoritism when certain customers come they get all excited and greet them . But some customers they have stank look and have attitude. ALSO THIS GYM IS PACKED AND CANT WORKOUT CORRECTLY BECAUSE YOU EITHER WAITING FOR EQUIPMENT OR WASTING TIME . They also shut down ac . Very unsanitary gym . I’m canceling my card because there customers service is horrible and I dint want to let them know I’m leaving

Decent gym. Adequate space. The biggest problem is their lazy staff. No one wears their masks. They stopped checking temperature at the front desk. They don’t enforce social distancing or wearing your mask. You could come in with a towel on your face and they don’t care. Unprofessional and ghetto.

This place is like high school drama on steroids. The staff is clicky and nice to certain guests. One personal trainer approached me as I was leaving the facility, guessed my weight to be approx 169 (he was pretty spot on) and proceeded to warn me that I could be bordering on obesity/should consider taking up his services sooner than later (for the record I’m 5’7, workout regularly enough and while my body fat percentage is not as low as it once was, I can assure you, at 5’7, 169, and working fairly regularly, I wasn’t nearing obesity).The advice wasn’t given to me in a requested consultation either; the man caught me off guard while I was leaving, and proceeded to share his opinion of me. And he was one of the nicer staff members that spoke to me over there.Ultimately after a series of unwanted interactions, once the pandemic hit, I indefinitely canceled my membership all together and I’ll have to look for a new home gym.In another instance, after an intense workout and sitting in the steam room, I’d gotten SUPER lightheaded and could tell I was going to faint. I saw one of their staff members walking by and told him I was going to faint and asked if he could help me. He rolled his eyes, told me to drink water and walked away. The next thing I knew someone was standing over me asking me how long I’d been unconscious on the floor. The staff members’ justification for leaving me unattended was she’s a female and I didn’t want to get in trouble’. There are literally 2 people, on that whole staff, that treated me with decency and those two people were the only reason I hadn’t canceled my membership sooner.If the location works for you, then I guess you’re a chosen. However if you’ve gotten weird, passive aggressive vibes from the staff, it’s not in your head; they’re definitely finikiy crew.

Mask policy is lax, people had them on their chin. Every machine is taken with people on their phones. Smells terrible. Nothing is ever where its supposed to be. Couples arguing. Good luck getting through your workout in a decent time. Go to another gym.

I called to cancel my account and I was told to not worry, that they would take care of it. To my surprise they still charge me the monthly fee + annual fee. When I called them asking why they are still charging me, they told me that the account was still active and that nobody called them to cancel it. Thankfully I was able to dispute the charges. Dont get caught on their BS or trust their word.

Management at this facility is atrocious. With the recent pandemic, masks are never worn properly. At any given time, only TWO 24 hour fitness staff members are working. Doing the best they can, but certainly not enough staff to monitor upstairs and downstairs. It is not my job to request that members wear masks and wipe down equipment, but with limited staff and any lack of management, it’s either us or no one.I only go to the facility because it’s close to my house. Plantation 24 hour fitness is head and shoulders superior to this facility!

I’m forced to come here because the Pembroke Pines location was closed permanently. I was highly disappointed. The gym is very small and crowded. The machines though new are to close together. It’s impossible not to run into someone. Everyone is on top of everyone. Though PP location was older the machines worked and there was much more space for everyone to social distance comfortable. This location reminds me of gyms they have in apartment complexes. Way too tight for me. Hopefully MG will be a better experience when they reopen.

Employees are very nice and helpful. Class schedule and instructors are great. But the actual gym is made for giants (I’m 5ft5in and everything is so large) and all the weights are so heavy (one set of 5-15lbs? What do beginners do?) and it doesn’t matter what time of day you go the free weights section is a tragedy (always a mess) they have an adequate amount of resistance machines but only one smith machine so it’s never free....for the class schedule the membership is worth it.

I came in today to try out the 7 day free membership at this facility as advertised online. However the customer rep at the front desk informed me that the manager only wants them to give out 3 day memberships and that he would not honor the 7 day free membership that was listed online. The online link where this is advertised is provided on map quest. I was disappointed with this service and I wasnt really impressed with the layout of the gym. I feel there are better options out there and not honoring what your advertising is setting a false expectation for any potential customers. 👎

I love this gym so much I am splurging on the two year plan. The facility is clean and has awesome perks like steam sauna and hot tub. There a wood way machine and its crazy cool. There is also a rope climbing machine that really works the lats and arms and wow oh wow I am impressed with the selection of equipment here. So many different options and the people at this gym are awesome. The vibe here is great and if your form is off trust me. Someone will help you. You will have a great workout here. And Ive never been here at a packed time. 😆

After a little over year as a member myself & my boyfriend a member for about 8 years we decided to cancel our memberships. When we initially canceled in early March the girl that assisted us asked what our reasons were & we were honest & let her know we were moving on to another gym. What a mistake! Her attitude was an actual nightmare after that & the customer service skills went down the drain. Regardless, the customer service at this location sucks, but this was way over the top for us. So long story short we’re finally able to cancel & come April of course there’s a charge on the credit card. What we didn’t know nor were explained upon cancellation was that if we didn’t cancel 10 days prior to the next billing cycle we would still get charged the usual monthly fee. We get in the car & drive over there & of course, it smells like sewer by the reception. We’re greeted by one of the managers which is always very kind & welcoming, she’s one of the only IF NOT the only staff member that always greets us. I believe her name is Meghan? We let her know what’s going on & she explains to us what should have been explained by the first girl to begin with. But while she’s helping us another manager or possibly the general manager butts into what is happening & looks at us & repeats the same thing. She told us “take care, have a nice day” 4 times without making barely any eye contact & we knew that it wasn’t genuine. It felt more like “okay get out of my face now” What an unpleasant experience. All in all we’ve been unhappy at this gym for a while now, for many reasons like poor customer service, poor gym upkeep, never any paper towels, the women’s bathroom is always a mess & the sinks are always clogged, the sewer smell is disgusting, a workout that should take 1 hour takes 3 because none of the equipment is where it should be & honestly, the lack of communication between them, & us, the client is embarrassing. As a team there are so many things that need work. Going to 24 did nothing but bring negative energy to us. By reading these reviews I see that it wasn’t just us. There are literally a million other gyms, don’t choose this one.

This place was great when I signed up but now the day care is to much if you have more than 1 child. The sauna need a good cleaning and possibly pressure cleaning the seating area with disinfectant. Cycling instructors are amazing and the only reason I still have a membership. Good amount of equipment and some are new

I love this facility. Its a great place to workout. What I love most is how they are constantly updating the equipment and machinery. The staff is okay, but not the best. The fact that I can easily spend hours here is why Im giving it 5 stars. I also love getting in the pool and the sauna.

Gym & Equipment: Always available for the most part, never packed with people. - 5 starsEmployees: They are all scams. I got tricked into getting a 1 year contract after they told me I could cancel anytime, but that was not the case. If you have money to spend, you have nothing to worry about. But if you make decent money and dont want to spend much, this is not for you.Personal trainer: My decisions were poor but lessons learned. I spent well over $600 for 10 sessions of 30 minutes each. Michael was my trainer, he was supposedly the best trainer but he was probably the worst. He lacked motivation and he gets paid commission based so he seemed to care more about the money. I had a family emergency 1 day and missed the day, I was still charged and they would not exempt me or give me another lesson. Not to mention the lessons were supposed to be 30 minutes long, he only gave me 25 minutes.*WARNING* These guys are nice and cool at first until you swipe your card and sign the papers.

Other than high traffic of folks sometimes after works hours, its an awesome gym. They offer great hours of availability to ensure you meet you goals at any time of the day. Also, having a Kids Club to watch your kids is a premium despite paying a few bucks, but worth it as you workout out.

Its going down hill fast. It used to be nice and clean. Janitors arent monitoring the cleanliness or keeping sanitation consumables stocked. One day I came in and the guy at the front desk had the music in the weight are blaring so loud the I couldnt hear my headphones, and when I asked him to turn it down, he claimed that he couldnt. Its just not the same feel anymore.

The staff obviously doesnt walk around. There are so many broken machines. Today there are 8 down machines, benches, and cables. The weights are all over. People actually bring speaker systems in and blast their own music. Horrendous location.

This is the first review for any service or company that I have ever written: I went to 24 hour fitness for 2 years, they have a great facility and the staff is usually very helpful. However, I was lied to and scammed/robbed by the staff and company. The issue began when I was preparing to move to a different country, so I called to cancel my account. On the phone I was told it was impossible to cancel my account via phone, that I needed to show up in person, so I went, and after physically signing papers I was assured my account was canceled. Fast forward 4 months when Im already living in the new country and I get a call that went something like this: hello this is 24 hour fitness, we were calling because we are having some issues with the payments on your card.. They were still charging me. My account was not cancelled. When I told them their mistake the reply I received was, Im sorry there is nothing we can do because I cannot cancel your membership without you physically being here. Therefore I was charged payments continuously.. For 7 months.. After already cancelling. But it doesnt stop there. The moment I touched down in Florida I drove to 24 hour fitness and made absolutely sure to speak to an advisor and calming express how irritated I was for having to pay for 7 months membership after I had cancelled, etc. (I am a student and do not have the funds to throw around an extra 30 some dollars every month)They apologized and I understood, I told them that I would like to terminate my membership, again, for certain this time, expressly stressing how I wanted it terminated for good and not have this issue again. I signed more papers. Recieved more reassurances. That was 2 months ago. Today I received a call..hello this is 24 hour fitness, we are calling because we are having some payment issues with your card... Are you serious? This time I could not be so calm, I knew that it wasnt this employee that was trying to spite me but I let them know that I am being scammed, robbed, and going to be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. Then all of the sudden, Im sorry sir, do you want me to cancel your membership? I can do it over the phone and it will only take 10 seconds. I couldnt believe it. This entire time they have been lying to me and forcing me to show up in person even after I told them I couldnt because I was in a completely different country! Then when I threaten to report them I can all of the sudden cancel my subscription, no signing papers, no needing to come in, nothing.As a once loyal member of this gym I am betrayed and furious, I am out time and a lot a lot of money.Continuing would be petty: you have my experience, heed it and beware. They will lie to you, and take what they can. Be vigilant and dont let them.

Ive been going to this gym since 2014. Its clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. I also use the daycare and I 100% feel confident working out knowing my children are in good hands. But I have to point out this gym is expensive but it does offer a lot of amenities like a steam room, pool, workout classes and more.

Thank you Marilyn for such an amazing cycling class, it was my first time doing a cycling class and she made me feel very con I lasted the 60 minutes and I I haven’t worked out in a couple of weeks! If you are afraid to do cycling DONT BE! JUST GO WITH MARILYN!!!The gym overall it’s a pricy based on the fact that you don’t have that many classes early in the morning if you work 9-5 or 8-4 you won’t have that many options when it comes to classes! I have tried to use the sauna a couple of times and it’s never working ... you can Payless and have more benefits in other gyms.

Completely horrible gym! Do NOT waste your money. The Sales staff will do their best to get you in there without really giving you the opportunity to see what the gym is actually like. The place is a complete mess. The free weights are NEVER put back where they belong, so finding the weights you need for your workout is nearly impossible. Half of the treadmills and bikes do not work, and on top of that everything has a dirty look to it (most likely because no one actually cleans this gym). I am extremely upset that I wasted my money at this gym. I am wondering if they even have a manager on duty... if so, I assume they are sitting in an office not giving 1 crap about the gym. I have only been at this gym for a month or so, and I am already freezing my account and going somewhere else next month.

I was able to give away FREE massage balls here for two days but all of a sudden Im not allowed back (the manager TEXT a staff member saying I couldnt come in) I NEVER had a complaint....youd think they would appreciate free massage tools just like EVERY gym customer did when I handed them out for the past two days...but everything is ALL about money. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO THEIR CHILDCARE FACILITY!!!! The childcare workers do not watch the children. I walked in on my 1 YEAR OLD child being abused, grabbed by her little arms, pushed down, thrown around like a rag doll and her face being smashed into a play mat by a 8 year old boy!!!! I yelled out whats going on and why is that boy doing that to my child, the childcare worker was on the other side of the room sitting down on her phone!!!! 😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡 like any concerned outraged parent my blood was boiling!!!!! I immediately notified management and there was no immediate action taken. I will be calling corporate first thing tomorrow morning and just for the hell of it I will be recording how careless and negligent these people are so everyone can see and this establishment will be exposed. Parents shouldnt have to pay for their children to be abused in their childcare facility while their simply trying to get a work out and achieve a healthier lifestyle. Please save your money and go else where. These employees at this establishment dont value children safety and definitely dont care about the money you spend on your membership. Im beyond outraged and want to cancel my entire membership for myself, my husband, and my daughter. Me and my boy drove an hour and a half to meet up a friend for a workout in Miramar, Ive been in and out of gyms since I was 15 (currently 21) never had a problem getting in a gym or trying to and these people made it so difficult. Besides the fact that my friend is in the military and just wanted a workout they tried sell us on a guest pass for $20 one day. Their sales manager was pushy and doesnt know how to sell really, We wasted all our time and all our gas just to come and try to get a workout with a long time friend. Instead of understanding our trip and being nice and considerate to capture a lead their money hunger led the way. They also told us we werent local residents so that hindered us being able to get in without paying that fee, Instead of arguing and getting into a discussion with the sales manager I just walked right out that door and went to LA Fitness, got in no problem, Gyms like this are the reason people get a bad rep from a fitness center.

Ive been a member at this gym for over 6 years and have never been so disappointed with it as i am now. As soon as you walk in you get this horrible sewer smell slapping you in the face. The free weights are all over the place, it takes you forever just to find a pair. i love seeing the 30 employees on the floor just gossiping with each other or with friends theyve made at the gym and the gym just being a complete mess. Arent they there to keep it organized? i get it the re-racking of the weights should be done by the customers using them but not everyone cleans up after themselves. There are more machines out of order then there are actually functioning. It doesnt help it takes them over 2-3 months to fix them. My favorite part about it all is getting charged an annual service fee, for what though? the damn gym is a disgusting disaster

The staff at this 24 hour fitness is extremely helpful. All the cardio machines I used were newish and in great working order. The locker room is clean and soap in all the showers. Of the 24 Hour Fitness gyms Ive visited in the Miami area, this is the nicest one.

THE FRONT DESK GIRL YELLED FROM ACROSS THE ROOM ASKING MAY I HELP YOU WITH AN ATTITUDE WHEN ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND GOT UP TO THE DESK NOT EVEN A GREETING SMILE NOTHING, not like I wanted to smile to her either but its called manners. In the meantime while checking us in not only was she not wearing her name tag but also obnoxiously chatting away and laughing with her coworker instead of working. Ive been going to this gym for a while now and its always the same, weights are all over the place, you rarely find a set of dumbells, its crowded and people will take over a machine and wont share it. The personal trainers are very good, I had one for almost a year, Trevor, hes awesome. That was the only way I truly enjoyed this gym. The only reason I havent left it because its close to where I live

Not impressed with the Miramar location. I’ve only been a member for a month now and every time I’ve gone to the ladies restroom it’s rarely clean and no toilet paper. The only restrooms are down stairs. If you plan on leaving your kids in the kid club plan on arriving early. Especially if you plan to take a class. They only allow one parent at a time to check their kid in and out which is time consuming since you have to wait outside the door and can’t walk in until the other parent gets out. I’ve been late to several classes because of this. The kid club at LA Fitness was not as complicated as this one. Not impressed at all.

This has been my gym since the day it opened, but I have to say things are looking bad. The lobby reeks of sewer, the locker room floor is disgusting with seepage coming up from the floor, one of the shower handles is completely broken off, and to see this place at 10pm is to think a frat party took place in the weights area. I have dual citizenship between this gym and Planet Fitness and Im almost driven to cancel my membership with 24 due to the multiple issues this place has. I mean, who wants to work out in a sewer? I wish theyd spend less energy promoting new location openings and more on existing locations. Get your act together guys!

Been going to this gym for many years. indoor parking *WAS* a huge plus. you can come in a rainy day, make your day better. ever since that restaurant opened up on the first floor, indoor parking has been totally wiped out on the first floor. this restaurants patreons have completely taken over the indoor parking from 7pm-5am specially on the weekendsso the solution has been to park on the 2nd and 3rd floors which are basically empty. this easily re-mediates the problem for a simple 45 min workout. HOWEVER, in the past year armed security guards have taken on the task to boot gym goers from the 2nd and 3rd floors by towing their carsonly place left to park is across the street in the public parking by the city hall. i mean are you serious? i have to park a proverbial mile away and get wet in the process when theres plenty of empty parking in the 2nd and 3rd floors?i tried to speak to the gyms management, but of course the person there apparently doesnt understand how business works.

This gym is not good at all.. its not clean and the customer service is horrible. they lock the fitness room so you cant go in there and work out. They never clean up the weights and things are always missing. The customer service is the worst that Ive seen it sent completely down hill when they changed managers and you can see its not run properly. I definitely will not be rejoining we bought a costco membership so it was cheap and once its up were out of there. Do not recommend.

This gym is such a train wreck, very messy. What’s the point of living 5 mins from it if it takes you 30 mins to find a matching pair of dumbbells. Drive a little further and save yourself the headache. There’s better gyms in the area.

Hi I went to this gym to get an idea about price and they said me they will give 3 days trial so that I can decide before joining but when I went on my first day of trial I was treated so badly by the manager he spoke very rudely and said sir u went to one 24 fitness in New Jersey last year to enquire but never joined so I cannot allow u to use free trial u need to pay 20 bugs to get inside. I will never go to this gym again. People please be aware of it.

I working during the days and have a home gym. At this current mlmemo i time the, my cardio equipment is being serviced. Today I decided to give 24he fitness a try and was surprised to learn that my guest pass is not allowed between certain hours despite the gym being 24. The bouncer informed me of this rudely by instructing me me to read #11, did not initially understand him because I am legally blind and under norm conditions do wear my glasses to the gym. The gym itself is nice. Lots of light.Customer service is terrible though.When I called to ask why I was charged double the girl at the front desk picked up the phone and I was explaining to her my situation she cuts me off and starts speaking to someone else and comes back to the phone laughing and then she asks if I could repeat myself because she didnt catch what I said. The end of the conversation, was told Id be reimbursed the money. And I cancelled my membership because i was leaving the state.2 months pass by, I am still getting charged. No reimbursement. I keep contacting them and its the same thing. Over and over. I will keep calling until i get my money back.

Been going to gym for a while now, something is always broken, weights are a mess but its very close to home. This morning, as I have done for years now, I walk into the gym but my bag in a locker lock it up and go workout. After my workout I am frantically looking for my bag, the one I know I locked up in the same place I have been for years now, I cant find it (its not locked in the locker I left it). I go up front to speak to the manager, he tells me he cut my lock off and took my bag. Surprised yet relieved to see my bag, I ask him why he did this. He said my bag had been in the locker since Saturday morning (even said he had pictures to prove it). I told him yes, it was there Saturday morning because I was working out, I then took it home after and came back today. He was in total shock that I use the same locker, he THOUGHT it had been there over night. No apology, simply said heres a lock and gave me my bag. This gym is really well equipped and you can’t beat a 24 hour time of operation. The thing is that this gym has so many members that in reality, you usually have to wait till nearly 11 pm in order to even get a chance to use the machines. Either that, or workout at 4 am.

As a former and recent member, I can confidently say this gym is horrible, this is the second attempt at a membership here and Ive given up on them. Financially they are ripping me off, charging for services I canceled due to staff forgetting to submit requests and efficiently do their job. The staff including management has exhibited the height of unprofessionalism. From the employees exhibiting sexual misconduct and harassment of the women working out to the management failing to take responsibility of the environment and disregarding client concerns. This gym is merely benefiting from the operating hours, low monthly dues and the fact that there is only one other gym in close proximity. Lastly, the crowd they cater to needs the gym to be open for 24hours do to their lifestyle which makes sense. As a 9-5 professional, I can make it to the gym before 11pm nightly I dont need the 24hour open door, I need my sleep for work. I do prefer LA Fitness now that Ive joined them regardless of the extra $9-10/ month, I am paying for peace, cleanliness, professionalism and staff who are actually knowledgeable and helpful with my fitness goals. Be smart about where youre spending your money, they are $5 less than some gyms but all that glitters is not gold.

The gym oversells the memberships so it gets too crowded. They are also very slow in fixing broken equipment. I buy the yearly membership at Costco, so dont know what their membership sales people are like. The front desk staff is friendly and they have some awesome spinning and strength class instructors.

Being 24 hours almost instantly makes it better than any other commercial gym. Relatively clean, and a decent amount of amenities. Only issue is fewer machines than other commercial gyms and even less than the other 24 on Pines and University.

Besides being the worst 24 hour fitness!! The trainers blast a speaker box in the middle of the gym on Saturdays like nobody else is in the gym. Nobody wants to here your music when the other music on the surround sound is going. Female bathroom is disgusting and never clean. The front desk aka fake trainers are not pleasant. Equipment is always damaged or just unclean. Oo yea and the sewer smell at times in the gym or when you walk in the gym in unbearable.

Never been a gym person til I joined this gym. Absolutely happy with it I feel at home when I go there, I never feel judged, the staff is super nice, they always greet you and fair well you. And I love dulcie and michelle!! Theyre the best when it comes to cycling. Love it!

CANCELING THE MEMBERSHIP = NIGHTMARE ON STEROIDSMy expiration date: 02/15I called 02/08 and agent: Ella wanted to charge me an early cancellation penalty ......ummmm... excuse me! after 30 mins on the call and back and fourth about how unfair that practice is and insisting to speak with a manager for over 20 mins ..I finally I get a manager on the line and case is resolved.Turns out the agent has misinformed me and actually they encourage members to call 10 days in advance so their contract doesnt automatically roll over or face a early termination penaltyThis was a high stress situation that could have been avoided if the initial agent did her job properly. Ridiculous....btw, the first time I called 02/14 wait time just to speak with someone was more then 30 mins .. which is why I called Friday morning 10 am

Wish I could give zero stars. Nice facility, but the Club Manager Tony committed fraud by charging me for a different membership than I asked for (of course he charged me for a more expensive one.) It has been hell with these people trying to get the membership canceled and refunded. They keep giving me the go around and mysteriously none of the managers are ever around when you try to talk to one. Tiffany at the front desk is nice. She took my info to give to another manager to just cancel the membership, but still no luck. Didnt want to have to fight with corporate about this, but I guess thats where this is headed. SMH. Go sign up at another and then come to this one if you want. I wouldnt trust ANYONE at this location with my payment.

Very nice facility. Seems clean. A little packed at times, but that comes with any chain gym. The good thing is about this one though, Im not waiting on a machine forever b/c some 22 year old girl is sitting on it while chatting on the phone. At least Im waiting b/c the person is hustling. Alot of fit people working out here. And nice too, I never feel hesitant to ask someone if I can work in with them.

The Miramar location Sucks!!!I explain this Cuban guy that do the subscriptions I wanted a month to month subscription because I was moving soon super far away from the GYM, but he decided to put me in a year contract and after two months I went to cancel and this Guy smile on me and told me that I signed a contract and that I could go to my bank and cancel my card so they dont have a way to charge me!Also this gym is the nastiest that Ive visited in my entire life!Now I live 45 min away from the place and im still paying every month because they decided to cheat on the customer! I just hope that some manager look at this and at least fire this cheater

I visited this location a week ago. I was told to show up 30 minutes before the class I signed up for began to activate my 3-day pass. The facility itself is very nice, clean and the front desk associates were welcoming. I was asked to quickly fill out some info on a computer, and was told to wait for a few minutes. Raul approaches me, introduces himself and we begin to walk upstairs. I was expecting a conversation as to what Im looking for, what do I expect, etc. etc. I was asked what brought me to this location. I began to explain that I live in the area, and that I was torn between this location and another gym. What would be a deal breaker was how much I like the classes. Apparently, Raul did not like my response, and dismissed me quite quickly. So it s now 20 minutes before class, and I am quickly brushed off and when I ask him, where was the room located for my class, he just pointed his finger and responded that way. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS LOCATION. I DO NOT KNOW WHERE IM SUPPOSED TO GO. But he didnt care. So there I am, a potential new member waiting in line for class 20 minutes before the start time, with no tour of the facility. I took the HIp-Hop class with Blue. It was a good and fun class. I am happy with my work-out for the evening and go back down stairs to the front desk to collect my I.D. from Raul. He comes down stairs, hands me my i.d. and is eager to sign me up. I didnt have the patience to ask him to please just let me enjoy my 3-day pass so I can make my decision then because I was really upset with how he handled himself at my arrival. I loved the facility, but as far as sales and pitching memberships, Raul, in my opinion, needs more training. I cant speak for everyone else who works there, but my personal experience with him was not pleasant. Although your location is more convenient for me, Id rather feel more comfortable at a facility where EVERYONE is welcoming and willing to cater as to what I am looking for as a member of their gym.

This gym always has about 9 people who work there walking around not doing anything. The gym stays dusty as hell I mean piles of dust everywhere and then they dont have any stuff to clean the machines. Club pride never happens because youll see trainers leaving weights everywhere and never putting them back smh dont waste your time even going to this one until they fire the bad seeds and hire new people because its just nasty and then the mens bathroom has been smelling from a pipe broke for almost 2 months which there to cheap to hire a plumber so they try and get this guy who dont speak to good of English to fix it which as you can tell he hasnt fixed it at all

I committed to a 12 month contract which i paid for all and when it came time to cancel my contract at the end of the 12 months it has been nothing but a hassle. On January 7th i went to cancel my contract and spoke to a front desk manager and he set it up for us and told me it was all canceled.. said i would receive a email within a couple hours. Never received a email about it so 2 weeks later i called and spoke to manager named MEGAN she said it was never canceled!! So she said she would cancel it and i would receive a email in about 30 mins...NEVER GOT IT! So i called the corporate 24 hour number for canceling memberships and FINALLY she was able to assist me and finally cancel my membership. This is ridiculous that i was lied to not once but twice about canceling my membership. NEVER AGAIN SIGNING UP TO A 24 HOUR FITNESS!

The plaza is nice till you get close and its dirty. The gym is very well worn/used. Felt dirty and smelled Plenty of parking is a plus. We have a membership at another 24 Hour Fitness so we were veru suprised to see the condition of this one

This is the most beautiful inside of the 24 Hour Fitness locations in Broward County. Big windows, lots of light, many cardio machines, big layout. Sometimes it gets crowded but not all the time. Great looking guys around too. I love working out here.

This is my review for the Miramar location after being a member for 6 months. Right after the hurricane that hit south Florida, I have been going on on and off. I have not able to be as consistent. I can only go after 9 pm because of work schedule. The Treadmills are most of the time full. I go with my family and quite often we have had to workout separately. The equipment is most of the time dirty and not well kept. you do feel that stench of sweat as soon as you walk in the gym. The weight room is ALWAYS over crowded. I have not been able to get a decent exercise routine there. I checked the Studio Classes, and the schedule does not really satisfies my needs. I am looking for cardio classes, but they are offered at different times, which I cannot participate. The Cycle (Spinning class) the music is too loud.What really TROUBLES me is the fact, that your fingerprint (your thumb) is stored in their system and has to be always scanned in order to get access to the gym. I dont feel comfortable at all about this. As a consumer, I take it as a security and privacy issue. I wish they could implement another form of member validation.The sales manager, whom I sat down to review the membership fees, options,etc, immediately gave me a printed notice that the current prices was only temporary, and in the next week or two, they will be higher. so it will be from $29.99 per member to $42 and change. During his interview, I got the feeling that he wanted me signed up right there, and could careless about giving me the 7 day trial offered. he asked me for my drivers license, and I declined it. I told him I really wanted to try it before i decided to commit to a contract. so he had not choice but to give me the free trial offer. I called corporate to confirm what he said, and they say that that the regular price is $29.99 per member. I did not say anything to him.I am considering other cheaper options and cancelling this membership. I feel I am paying for my family too much for the amount of time I go to the gym and for the amenities that I actually use . I have a one year contract.If your experience has been the total opposite, Good for you. This was mine. - Good Luck!

Ive been a customer from this unit since the 2011, but looks like management is concerned just on the qty of customers and left behind quality of their services. The ambient is a mess no one re rack the weights, that area is simply disgusting you see sweat stains all over the place. You can use the equipments area only, another issue they have problems with the old equipments now a days outdated. I will not comment the locker room impossible to use it. And the information about getting better is confusing one associate tells me that they know about the issue and they are working to improve, others make a poker face and tells that everything normal and they will report the problem. This organization has lots of management issues as well.... this reflects in basic stuffs.... good luck 24 fitness.... This customer is going to LA Fitness and Orange Fitness

The gym was disorganized and the variety of exercise equipment was limited. The free weights were also out of order and it was really hard to find matching weights. Also, there were only 2 water fountains in terms entire gym and the water coming out was lukewarm.

I am an avid gym goer and love group fitness classes. I finally went to the 24 Hour in Miramar to check it out and Im very interested in a kick butt spin class and other formats as well. I rarely lift and use the cardio equipment. So, I went to 24 3 times this week to take a spin class. Twice, the class was canceled because the instructor didnt show, and I finally took a class this am (Saturday at 10:30am) and was completely underwhelmed: She showed up late, she didnt greet me as a new member shes never seen in her class, she was barely on the bike, she told us she was tired (You are are a fitness instructor, you come to motivate us - do something else if youre tired), her class wasnt engaging, there were very long rest periods which I typically dont see in spin, her music was entirely too loud and couldnt hear a thing she said. I mean almost nothing she said. There was no magic in it that made me want to come back...at all. In fact, the music was so loud at the end, I had to leave. I did take a HIIT class on Thursday morning, and I wish I knew the instructors name, because it was good. I took this because one of the spin classes was canceled. Oh, and I learned today that the Saturday class at 10:30am is canceled next week...what the heck? I just dont understand the lackluster enthusiasm and canceled classes. Im very disappointed.
