Fast, Friendly, & Fun. I stopped because the $29.99 advertisement. Khalil helped me understand that my car needed synthetic oil. Although it is more expensive, he graciously gave me a coupon.I am grateful for his expertise because the wrong oil could have been harmful to our new car. Khalil and Brandon were very friendly and made it fun for my daughter. As we waited, they answered questions like: “Why is that nice man going down those stairs.”Even with the confusion on my end and my daughter’s questions, we were in and out in under 15 minutes. Will definitely be back!

Went in for an oil change and also asked them to inspect my car because it was making a noise. I clearly stated I did not need a state inspection, only for them to see what was causing the noise and they charged me for the state inspection which I just got done a couple months ago. They also charged me the $10 extra to check my tint and I never saw them go near my windows… Charged me $44!!! to change my cabin air filter when there was a sign with all their prices that said it actually cost $26.They act nice and offer every customer a coupon just to make it seem as if you’re getting a good deal.But hey what can you expect from mechanics these days. I would definitely not go here again.

Brought my car in for an inspection last Friday, 9/10; was told that one of the headlamps was out and it needed to be replaced to pass inspection. I had checked all of the lights on the vehicle several days before I brought it in and they were all in working order.When I asked to see the burned out headlamp that had been removed from my car what was given to me was NOT the brand headlamp I purchase from AutoZone when I replace my own headlamps. I had no choice but to pay the $25+ for a new headlamp otherwise I would have had to return home, get the extra headlamp I had in the garage, replace it myself, go back to the inspection place, wait in line and start all over. So I paid the $25. Id like my money back - I will be happy to return the unnecessary headlamp I purchased.Also I sent an email to the contact email listed online for this company and did not receive a response.

Was up there a bit ago and I seen they had different person working up there and he was the new manager up there, he did a great job on my truck and also he let me know everything that was going on with my vehicle.I will be back up there to get my cars done.

After taking my car to change oil in this place, my car started to make a metal noise, when I saw under my car, I saw that there were 2 screws missing that hold the bottom cover of the car. When I left a comment, I saw that this place has 4.0 stars. Reading the comments, I noticed that most of the positive comments are false, especially the last two of me (Leyna Springs and Joe Badgett) probably the owner or an employee opens an email account (gmail) to keep the stars at 4.0, because it is impossible for this place to have 4.0 stars, they are very poor in service and do not value the vehicles of customers, if you have a new or semi new car, run from this place because they are damaging your car.

Without any professionalism, the people who work in this place, ruined my car by scratching the side, I will never take my car in this place again

I would recommend to avoid this place at all cost. My biggest concerns being1. Not practicing social distancing AT ALL! To the point of leaning into my vehicle and being completely unconcerned..2. Gimmick pricing - Added charges (skid plate charge) without even notifying me. A 66.00 Synthetic oil change came out to 109.3. Oil sticker mileage was not correct.4. Do not reset your Oil Change light.All around very uncomfortable place. I would be devastated if my child got stuck in the bay with these rude and unprofessional people.

Mike AJ and Aaron, they destroyed my car, I will never go back there, if you want quality and professional service go somewhere else. My car was leaking oil after they changed the oil in my car, I had to take my car to a mechanic and spend more money to fix the leak. Probably the excuse they are going to be that my name is not in their system as they speak to many.

Had good experience with Mike V. @ this location. Always did oil changes here and had Mike do my oil changes recently. If something went wrong, Mike always did his best to fix the issue somehow. Ask for Mike when dropping by to do a quick oil change; he seems to take pride in his work. Keep up the good work!

What a great little shop. I dont have to leave my vehicle to get my oil change which is great during these Covid days. Just drive in, they changed my oil, and emailed my invoice for a no contact experience...thank you for being so mindful of the times. I will be back with all my vehicles.

Avoid this place, they are not professionals, they damaged my car, putting the screws in the wrong place. I had to call the owner of the place to fix the problem after I called the police. One of the employees is a retired military man, very dishonest, disrespectful, and without any professionalism, who always tries to sell more services you need.Responding to the owner: I adding the invoice that way you can see that I am not wrong. I did cover my information. If you cant see any recorded from me in your facility, that proves how unprofessional you guys are.

Old reliable as some would say. I have been coming here for a couple years now. Oil changes and inspections. Obviously they will try to up sale you. Just say no and tell them exactly what you want. Straight to the point. Fast and efficient. Techs could be more friendly but no complaints past that. Ask them a question, they answer and knock out the work. Thanks guys you have my appreciation. Longest I have been here is 45 minutes. Thats with 3 cars ahead of me.

Shortly after my wife took her vehicle there for an oil change the undercarriage cover started falling off. While at the dealer for a state inspection they told me there was nothing wrong with it. The clips to hold it in place were all missing. Havoline was the only place that had done any work under our car and must have not reinstalled them correctly, or at all. I had to pay to get them replaced. This is not the first problem weve had here, but it will be the last. We wont return.

They force you to buy service you dont need, they are not professional and they still denounce your car.

Edit: Owner could not find me because wifes name is on the ticket for my car. This is the location. I also noticed they noted sludge on my ticket. I called the manager and asked what this meant and he replied oil was black when it came out well its used oil at 5k miles you shouldnt expect it to look new. I still say beware!Told my wife car required synthetic oil which is not true! Owners manual states API certified is the only requirement. Also told us we would have to return in 3000 miles instead of 5000 miles because we did not puchase synthetic which is also untrue. Used to like this place but not now. Refuse to do business with a company which trying to take advantage of unknowledgeable patrons, especially Women!

They were very polite and made sure we understood all our options without putting any sales pressure on us. They were sure to explain why they were doing what they were doing and when we would need to be re-checked. We got done what we needed without paying for a ton of things we didnt. I felt very respected and like a customer not a sale.

I have had the most excellent service that I experienced in a long time. These guys went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met. I just cannot see enough good things about my experience. This is the only place that I will get my car serviced.

They overcharged my wife for services she never wanted. They supposedly put 2 quarts of transmission fluid in a transmission that has never leaked or shifted anything but perfectly. They tried to sell her new wipers. When you drive past this place you are doing the smartest move possible.

Great service! Fast and efficient. Very professional and friendly! Didnt try to sell me on unnecessary services. Only drawback is there is no where to comfortably sit while waiting for services to be done. Some things, like an inspection, you do not stay in the car while they are being completed. The two chairs in the hot bay that draws yellow jackets in the summer is not that comfortable place. I would be willing to do more extensive and expensive services if I knew Id be more comfortable.

Apparently Google does not allow a second review to be posted by the same person so I will add on to this one...my original review is below...it has been several months since I first found this Havoline and since that time I have gone to them for oil changes and various other small and large car issues with both of my cars. Just like before they have truly been amazingly kind, knowledgeable and consistent! I would suggest them to anyone and I have made them my households go to car repair place...I suggest you try them out, you will not be disappointed! :)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This location is now under new management...I just came from there after having gotten an oil change, cabin filter change and license light replacement and the two gentlemen that helped me were wonderful!I am not particularly good with cars and Adam (The Manager) and Hunter (Technician) explained everything to me with complete clarity. They were fast, thorough and really seem to care about their jobs, true professionals!I would, without question, recommend them to anyone and I will be making them my go to Xpress Lube. I will also be recommending them to my friends and family!

I have been coming to these guys for a few years now and have always had great service. However, on today Cody took the coustomer experience to the next level. My family will be traveling tomorrow.I came by earlier, but there was a 3-4 car line. So I decided to come backlatter on. Not even looking at the time I got there with only one car in front of mine. Cody comes and says we are closed now, but if you really need the oil change today...Ill take you this time. THATS WHY ILL KEEP COMING BACK!!!

Fast and knowledgeable but did not do as we asked. My gf was in the car, i ran to the gas station beside of them real quick. My gf told them to wait for me before doing anything. There was no other customers just us. I came back out in a min and they already pulled the car in and began working on it. I asked if they could just do an oil change and oil filter service, as I already refilled antifreeze, brake, and check transmission fluid. He said he could. I stepped out of their way and watched as someone started to vaccum and fill air into my tires. I was charged for a full service. 49.99. I accepted it as it was already done but I doubled checked everything and the window washer guided wasnt filled, nor was the vacuuming clean. Still very dirty inside and under the hood still has wet antifreeze from when they opened the cap while it was still hot. Im very disappointed in this service. I always been to one in a different location an hr away, but that location gave me great service and did as I asked only for 29.99. I thought perhaps this location would do the same as they are the same company. Lesson learn. I paid an extra 20 for them to just inspect and fill nothing up except oil. Always watch what someone does to your car.

So I went to this place and I didnt go for the 19.99 oil change but I didnt go for $100 oil change either. I usually get my oil changes for about $55 to $65. I went here and they charged me $100 for the same thing I would get at Toyota dealer ship or like walmart. Definitely priced way to high. I didnt even get new filters or anything. Just oil

This place sucks bc the people that work here are lazy morons with bad attitudes. I recommend you stay away. Also, the guy tried to upsell everything he could-- even a transmission flush on a brand new transmission (less than 10000 miles on it)!

Consumer beware!!!! The Halvoline xpress in Mint Hill is AWFUL! First, the manager told me it was going to cost $85+ to do my oil change. When I told him not to do it (usually costs me $35) he got an attitude with me and told me to leave. I cranked my car up and it started shaking. Not just little rattle but a full on shaking and making a weird noise. When I refused to move, requesting him to tell me what he did, he threatened to call the poice on me! I told him to call them cause I wasnt moving until he told me what he did. Long story short, the manager is an ass, wants to rip people off, and needs to be fired. Stay away from this place if you want to have a running car!
