Great experience all the way around. Booked the car day of, as all other major carriers didnt have any cars for the week. I was a little nervous not going with a national carrier. Staff was polite and even got me a better car to fit my needs. Pick up and drop off super easy with pics before and after. Price came under the estimate. Good people good business. Will rent from them again.

0 STARS. I rented a car from them on 1/30 that was a 2010 chrysler with 226,070 miles on it. It wasnt the nicest car but I was told it worked and that they maintenance all vehicles. I only needed the car to drive to work which was 5 miles from where I was staying in Minot. On 1/31 I was driving down the street and suddenly the steering wheel locked, the battery, oil, and engine light went on, and the engine started overheating. I had to pull over, USE MY AAA TO GET TOWED. The tow truck driver immediately noticed the serpentine belt snapped and was dragging under the car. Also this was on a Sunday so the company was closed and I had to make multiple phone calls to figure out what to do with the car. A man I spoke to from their call center told me I would get a full refund. Scott, the owner, then called me and offered a new car but I declined given the situation and dropped the car off at the company. The next day I received an email with an invoice receipt stating that i turned the car in with 228,573 miles on, total miles driven 2,503 MILES IN 24HRS, literally impossible. I probably drove 10 miles. Well today I called and Scott refused to give me a refund since I still had a working car for a day. He stated that the belt didnt snap and that another piece broke that caused the belt to slide off in which in was a freak thing. He refused to refund me $30 dollars and stated that he has been in the auto business since the 90s and clearly hasnt learned any customer service because hes arguing with me over $30. Well now he gets a bad review and still isnt getting the $30.Side note: Scott called and said that the mileage was an error on their part and so clearly their are a lot of errors within the company.

Owner is a crook. Don’t recommend doing business here. Might be better prices but buyer beware, they get you in the end! 👎🏻 After returning rental and checking out, they will charge your debit card for whatever they can make up as an extra fee

I hardly write a review for anything because its very hard to satisfy me. However, in this case, I am compelled to write one. This company is one of its kind. Excellent service. Try them and wount regret it.

Rented a car for a few months because mine was being shipped from overseas. Great customer service and easy process. When the vehicle had soon to expire tags and the left headlight out, they fixed the issue quick. Also great prices in comparison to other rental car agencies in the area. Highly recommend these guys.

The best car rental agency in Minot. Dont let the name fool you. They have very clean 1-2 yr old late model vehicles.I needed a car for 2 days and the owner, Scott, went out of his way to accommodate me when none of the other franchise car rental places could help.It was on a Sunday and the other rental places in town were closed, so I could only rent from the airport car places but they required me to show a plane ticket. Scott took some time off his Sunday at the lake to rent me a vehicle.The vehicle was a 2017 Mazda 3, clean and in perfect condition. They also have other vehicles like Suburbans.Very professional and personal service. I will definitely use Rent-A-Wreck MINOT again.

Worst place ever my wife has rented a vehicle from. Not only was Scott the owner rude as hell towards both me and my wife as we were trying to resolve a situation with them on a beige truck we had rented. The tire pressure sensor wasnt working properly which isnt a major issue however I rode in the bed of the truck on an errand we were running and heard a bad scraping noise coming from the rear driver side tire which is also where the sensor was out on. So not knowing if there was a problem with the brakes I returned the truck because I didnt want to have something major happen or something being broke and charged for it. As we were retuning the vehicle the system was down and his employee had tried calling him and bluebird who there system is through after being hung up on 2 times she called Scott who refused to come in to fix the system. I had tried talking with him to no avail. Then my wife called him where he was rude to her over the phone prompting me to call again to try to resolve the issue when he started to raise his voice and basically call bot my wife and I liars about everything going on. Even though he is not a mechanic he supposedly knows everything about vehicle because according to him he inspected the vehicle and nothing was wrong. I had no objection to paying something for the rental at the time everything occurred but after the events that unfolded after and my wife and i were shown the poorest customer service i have ever received i will never be going through this place again and i was also charged roughly 4 dollars for a gallon of gas.

This is a VERYcustomer service oriented business. The vehicle was spotless. The price is unbeatable. My wife asked if they would pick us up on the other side of town and they did. Then the next day my wife locked the keys in the trunk and they came across town to our hotel room in 10 minutes, no extra fees.

While the name seems off putting, this company accommodated me even when they were running low on stock. They even picked me up from the airport to take me to fill out the paperwork and the vehicle was a 2017 Mazda 3 in excellent condition. I would definitely use them again.

Rent-a-Wreck in Minot has WRECKED my opinion of the major rental car companies. I bring my family to Minot every summer and need to rent a minivan. Rent-a-Wreck charges 50% of what the rental companies at the airport charge. While the vans Ive rented are a bit older and have a few more miles, theyve been extraordinarily clean, run great, and have come with great features, like power slide doors and lift gate, leather seats, a moon roof, and a DVD player.Getting picked up and dropped off at the airport was quick and easier than if I had rented a van on-site,Dont make a mistake by by renting anywhere else.

They accept debit card so thats good and it was easy to get vehicle. The only complain I have is that the owner called accusing me of taking remote starter charger when he never even gave it to me. He was being rude on the phone and all I wanted to do was help him remember that he didnt give it to me.

Excellent service, they picked us up at the train station without any problems. The man was nice, friendly, and gave us directions to where we needed to go. The car was certainly NOT a wreck, it was clean, drove nicely in the snow, and had an excellent heater.

Best place to rent a vehicle in town, love it - its easy and fast and friendly service and no stress and no drama. I booked a Chevy Tahoe suburban for a wedding. And the manager was super amazing and am glad we have people and vehicle renting company like this town. And I reccomend everyone to come here if they to rent anything and dont go to ( Enterprise rental company they are poor in everything - so much attitude - they dont take debit card or cash or checks only credit cards. )

This place is a joke, they add all kinds of fraudulent charges to ur card after u turnit in. I filled up thegas tank and Scott charged me 4 dollars a gallon for a full tank that was already full. Scott has zero customer service and talks to his customers very condescending. I wouldnt recommend this place to my own worst enemy.

Two hours into my 18 hour road trip my van broke down in Minot. Because I only carry a debit card, the usual suspects did not to rent to me. Rent a Wreck to the rescue!
