Losing all that data in that hard drive was one of the scariest moments for me and they helped me navigate it and communicated with me every step of the way! Really Great place for all things repair. I actually like going there. They explain all the stuff I don’t understand at first and they get it right every time. The quality of work is the best you can expect. The employees all have been more than helpful. They are dog friendly and even give a discount if you bring your dog. And you will want to bring your dog or anyone’s dog for the discount because you will do a double take when you get the bill. Yikes! I don’t know if it’s worth shopping around but I won’t because this place is for my needs worth the money.

Friendly and knowledgeable computer repair shop that provided a timely diagnosis then repair for my laptop. This issue was covered by a warranty, and the folks at PC Doodle went through several email correspondences to make sure they provided the correct information. Their pricing seemed a bit high, so look elsewhere for bargain repairs.

This is the only computer repair shop all use. I cant believe they put up with me because most of the time when I go in there I just talk your ears off and get advice. They dont seem to mind. Theyve actually taught me a lot about computers.

Great customer service, very friendly and communicative. Unfortunately, they were unable to solve my problem (an overheating laptop). However, they were honest about it and didnt charge me for parts or labor, so I would definitely recommend them. Their pricing is really competitive as far as Ive seen. I did ultimately take my PC to a different store (where I paid 2-3 times as much) that was able to completely fix my computer.

I went there to get my iPhone screen replaced. Shortly after I got the new screen it starting acting funny periodically, but I could never replicate the odd behavior - it would misbehave for a few minutes at random times and then just start working properly again on its own. Several months went by and I still couldnt replicate the issues, but brought it in anyways. They immediately just took my word that something was wrong with the screen, and replaced it with a brand new one. I was very pleased, and my new screen has worked perfectly.

I had my external hard drive completely crash and I almost lost hope that ALL my documents from my secretarial service was lost. PC Doodle is the first one I contacted and they seemed to know what they were talking about, well they most certainly did! These guys were great. Ever since General Nanosystems shuttered, Ive been looking for a reliable computer repair shop. I found the staff well-spoken and knowledgeable, and the rates seemed quite reasonable. Every required action was explained to me clearly and the turnaround times were pretty good. Id recommend this place to anyone who couldnt actually do their own repairs and maintenance.

I flew into town for client meetings and my computer crashed. Dell recommended PC Doodle to me so I took it over to them for a look. It was a very difficult fix apparently but PC Doodle was terrific and was able to fix the problem. The guys there are professional, sharp, and really know there stuff. These guys are absolutely fantastic!!! Incredibly friendly, helpful, and capable staff who fixed my computer at the lowest cost in the area. I didnt even realize my computer could run this fast. I had them reinstall my operating system and install a new HD.Everything was almost perfect except that my graphics card driver didnt get installed correctly. It doesnt surprise me that they didnt notice since I didnt notice for two weeks. Everything looked to be correctly installed. When I did notice I tried to fix it myself and through my own actions ended up completely bricking my computer.Despite it being largely my fault, they still immediately took back my computer and reinstalled the OS all over again. Everything works flawlessly! Ill be using these guys again if I ever need a repair!

Saturday AM and large shelf falls on the PC laptop I use for my much of my business, shattering three of the keys. After calling a large well known computer retailer and being told my repair couldnt get on the repair bench for five days, I called my favorite Mac store who directed me to PC Doodle.From the moment they promptly picked up the phone, they were friendly, professional and very reassuring. I brought my wounded computer in that day, and it was repaired within hours.While I waited my turn for service, I saw them serve the few clients ahead of me.They treated the complete novice with the same kindness and courtesy they afforded the tech geek.I would HIGHLY recommend PC Doodle.

Just fixed my pc, and even gave me an upgrade on my components since they thought they had a certain component in Stock, but didnt, and due to my time constraints upgraded me with a far superior component they had rather than ordering and waiting for a couple days. Under no circumstance should you use this service. Customer service is extremely lacking. Work prioritization is non-existent, and promised timely, affordable service was not delivered. Its not worth the time and money.

A friend of mine spilled booze on my laptop during a party and then didnt tell me about it. Needless to say, my computer was FUBAR in a matter of minutes. Sorry Guys, some of these folks are right. You guys must work on your customer service skills and the way you organize your work orders. Better organization in the way you guys take work orders and actually do the work should improve customer service because youll make less excuses if the work is actually done. PC Doodle saved us during a recent office move. Comcast arrived and suddenly changed tunes on not being able to wire us. We called PC Doodle and they came over the same day to give us a quote. They wired the whole office and came in quickly and below budget. Very knowledgeable and nice guys.

Approximately one year ago, I was searching for a laptop repair shop near uptown, and found this place online. They offered the best price, so I agreed to bring in my computer- which had a broken screen. I received three calls from PC Doodle after turning the laptop in: First was to confirm the price, second was a courtesy call regarding the slight delay on the receipt of the screen. Third was to confirm that the screen was replaced, but there was another issue that could not be resolved.I received an offer to switch my HP laptop with a similar model. I agreed with the promise that the replacement would perform as well, if not better than mine, and the specs match. The technician let me know the replacement was supposedly faster (their quad core vs my dual core processor). All else is the same.The first thing I noticed almost immediately was the failing battery. My previous battery lasted 24 hours before a charge was needed. This machine now requires plug in within 20 minutes. It is also slower, and I receive error messages almost every day relating to Adobe Flash. Ive tried absolutely everything to no avail. So basically, I have trouble or no success watching many short clips and videos.My old system performed far better than this replacement. Because my laptop worked fine other than the screen before I brought it in, which leads me to believe they grabbed my system for a parts upgrade, and left me with an inferior model.(As I was typing this review, I received an error message relating to a temporarily failed driver).I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

Not impressed with the customer service or owner. Laptop was supposed to take 1-2 weeks to complete but ended up taking closer to 6 weeks. After the long wait I was happy to have my machine back, but, within 3 days I was having the same issues I was having before. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PC DOODLE AGAIN AND I HOPE YOU DONT EITHER.

As a student on a budget taking half of my clsses online when my laptop decided to take a dive, I needed it repaired fast and at a reasonable cost. The techs worked on the issue, which was complex, for a few days. They backed up my data in the event my pc was toast and eventually fixed the issue and handed it back by day 3. I was given a loaner laptop in the interim. Very happy with the service, the price, and the customer service.

Asked for a simple repair, and provided parts. The part I provided was damaged during the repair. When I asked why, I was told I dunno man I didnt do it myself. I was still charged the 50 labor fee, which I understand to be pretty standard. I would have liked to see the fee adjusted to compensate for the poor execution with the task. They really botched it.Just a side note, the in-store service is pretty terrible. No greeting at the door, no sense of urgency, and despite obvious other repairs that could have been made to my computer- there was no offer to do so. It made me feel like I mistakenly walked into someones garage.

Id been looking for a local place to repair my broken iPhone screen for less than Apple would charge for my 5s and driving around today, I saw this store (no longer on Hennepin but in my neighborhood now at 35th St and Minnehaha Ave, 55406). Id never it seen before. A little research on Google and a phone call later, I was satisfied and walked in with my phone. I felt like Id walked into the Lone Gunmens lair (from the X-Files in the 1990s) because they had just moved to this location three days before and looked it, and it was staffed with appropriately geeky men with odd haircuts (Where are the geeky women? Is the odd haircut a requirement?). They didnt have a new screen for my phone in white (only black) so the clerk offered to take the screen off his and sell it to me for a reduced price. Hed take the black one. I said okay. My phone was repaired within the hour. Looking brand new. For $30 less than a new one. I will definitely come back.

Had a back up hard drive fail and they were able to repair it saving my data!Then I had a Lenovo laptop that had a hinge break then crack the screen a little over a year old. They looked up service records and found that this particular model had a manufacturing defect. All models had broken hinges! They recommended me to all Lenovo which I did. Lenovo did not admit fault but offered a replacement computer!No way would that have happened at Geek Squad. My $900 investment was saved at no charge!
