Great atmosphere and a decent haircut, but a relatively inexperienced barber took a decent chunk out of my beard while trying to reshape the chin area. A minor adjustment turned into a major patch - should probably make sure newer employees are comfortable with all services before sending them into the field!

I have never had as good a haircut as the one by Sofi at Martys. She is truly a master of her craft and takes time to make sure the fine details of each cut are beautifully accentuated down to the hard part.Since coming here last summer I have never gone anywhere else and have had nothing but amazing beautiful haircuts and styles that last for months before needing additional touch up.The bonus part for guys is that its tucked away in the back of Martin Patrick, the premiere Mens boutique in the Twin Cities. Very fancy. You can get a haircut and purchase beautiful clothing as well. The employees are very polite and professional. I got my kid a haircut here and it was professionally done. He was patient and kind. And they even helped with supplying the bribe candy that we typically have to give him in order to get him to sit still for a haircut.

Piere is seriously the greatest barber Ive had and its always been a A+ experience when he gives me haircuts. I love to support someone who takes pride in their craft and loves the work they do for a living. Hes truthfully the only reason I even stepped foot into this establishment and I plan to come back very soon. I dont know much about hair styles or what I like personally all I know is what ever he does makes me look and feel good about myself !

Chris has been cutting my hair for about 5 years, and its great every time. He always has my look down and is great to bounce ideas off of if you want to mix it up! Waiting space was great. I went with a friend and the person was 30 minutes late. Everyone was sleeping in the waiting space because the backlog was so long. I dont really understand how hard it is to run on time. If someone is late, that is there fault. Its pretty unacceptable to have to wait 30 minutes for 10 minute haircut.

Really love the space and Piere did a great job and was really easy to talk to. Im sure if you wanted to just chill, the experience would be just as great but if youre looking to chat it up a bit while getting a great cut look no further.

Chris Hernandez is probably the best barber in the Twin Cities. Otherwise, this store is really nice-looking, but largely unaffordable for the average person. Youll feel cooler just walking around though, so take a wander.

Seen a couple different stylist here. It seems they are selective enough that a walk in client from out of town can be confident they will leave with a great cut from any member of the compitant and skilled team. Izz hooked me up last and had a unique finely tuned style.

I recently moved to Minneapolis and needed to find a good place to get a high quality cut by an actual barber. It took me six different barbers and 9 months before I found Christopher at Martys. Christopher provided a high quality cut, trimmed me up nicely, and was enjoyable to talk to. His prices are slightly higher than other MPLS barbers, but comparable to other top notch barbers in most US metro areas. I now have my go-to barber in MPLS.

Piere filmed the entire haircut and posted it online without my concent (he claims he asked). Then, after politely (and privately) asked him to take it down, he refused... Not sure what to do now...
