Took a while for me to find a good place to get my hair cut in the cities. But Jessica and others at Floyd’s 99 are the best I’ve found and for $30 a cut it is competitively priced in the area. Easy to schedule online and I haven’t had a bad haircut yet!

There was weird bickering about how trash smelled. It did smell badly from across the room. The whole interaction seemed unprofessional.My hair looks pretty good though.

Great new location (opened Sep 2019) for downtown! Pleasant staff and unique vibe. Floyds always seems to be busy so reservations are a must -- it can be tough to walk in. Ive enjoyed the consistent quality of haircut at this Floyds location

I have gone to Jane 3 times and every time I am more than happy. My wife would critique and criticize my previous haircuts and now she is like wow it looks great!

Nic cut my hair and the whole experience from start to end was perfect. All safe covid precautions were in place even the temperature check! Nic did a perfect job cutting my hair and was even nice chatting with during the process. I was in and out in under a half hour. Highly recommend this location.

You need to get an appointment with John if you want a professional to cut your hair. He did a fantastic job and I would totally recommend him. I trusted his judgment on my haircut and I was not disappointed. He pays close attention to detail and ensures you are satisfied with your haircut. Thanks to John I look and feel great.

I got my haircut here for the first time last Sunday and I could not be happier with my experience. After my last bad haircut at a different establishment I decided to pay a bit more for a higher quality haircut and I was not disappointed. I hate driving down town but this was worth it. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Some growing pains I think. I have always loved floyds! This place is no exception! Very nice and friendly staff... however, I do recommend setting up an appointment! I didn’t do that and I ended up getting someone whose not that great at cutting hair! It happens.. other than that it is a great spot! Ande seems like one of the better ones. I will try and schedule with him next time

John gives a great fade/bald fade!!! Going to a new barber always gives me anxiety, but John gives a truly proper fade. Highly recommend John at the North Loop location!

Not the best services. Francoise seemed in a rush to finish with me with her next appointment. She cut my hair unevenly and didn’t even give me a chance to tell her because she wanted me to leave already to attend her next appointment. Won’t be coming here ever again or recommend this place because she literally messed up my hair. I have pictures to show it.

John is a hair God! After many quarantine self haircuts my hair was pretty much butchered. One visit with John and Im back to looking civilized and feeling good. Im pretty loyal to my barbers and since hes amazing Ive already booked another appointment.

Barbers were nice. Front desk lady both times were a bit rude. Hair cuts were definitely not worth the price. Both times took a long time and not anything like the photos I provided for reference.

Worst haircut of my life! DO NOT COME HERE!!!1) Haircut was not with the stylist I had a reservation with (not sure why?)2) I arrived five minutes early, ended up waiting 20 minutes (in the AM) with no “sorry for the wait.”3)The haircut only lasted 15 minutes. I asked for a fade but just received a #2 guard shaved all around the sides of my head. Had MANY random long hairs leftover. She also had no idea on how to style or cut the top of my hair. All this was strange as I showed her several photos of ME and my typical haircut before we began.4) She said I was her 102nd haircut of the week.. Customers shouldn’t have to sacrifice for you choosing to overbook/overwork yourself.I was a customer of the Uptown Floyd’s location for 3 years, which is great! The North Loop Floyd’s location is a dumpster fire..

Its a bit smaller than the other location. However. The alternative environment is the same. This where I go for all my cuts. I fit right in here.

Ive had 3 great experiences with haircuts here since theyve opened. Ande is now my stylist, his advice about my hair and beard have made a wonderful difference. The rest of the staff is quite friendly and the atmosphere of the shop is very casual, making it a comfortable and relaxing environment.

I had a great experience. As soon as i walked in, i was greeted by the friendly staff. the shop has a cool aesthetic. everything was really clean. my stylist chloe did a fantastic job. i asked for a bald fade and wow. let me tell you, she is skilled using clippers and was detailed. i’m highly satisfied and going to be coming regularly!

Checked in a few minutes early for my appointment. 10 minutes after my scheduled start time I’m still sitting there while the receptionist plays on her phone. No acknowledgment of the delay, no one taking a moment to ask if I need anything. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I brought in a photo of how I wanted it cut. It was a photo of me. It was a photo of my hair cut, on my head, how I wanted it cut. How does it not end up like that? I said i don’t want it combed over, the other Floyd’s insisted on doing that. SHE LITERALLY CUT MY HAIR COMBED OVER. Floyd’s is just an expensive fantastic sams.
