My driver is the biggest asset this company has!!! I am officially know by the company as the woman that refused the package twice. Mr. Garcia was my driver both times. Both times he helped deliver a 60” bathroom vanity to my garage. He helped me unpackage the item. He patiently waited while I inspected the package and both times it was damaged. This was NOT due to the carrier or drivers. It was due to poor craftsmanship of the manufacturer. Mr. Garcia patiently waited for me to repackage the item and called it in to his dispatch. Then he carefully brought it back from my garage to his truck. The entire time Mr. Garcia was polite, respectful, and gave me service with a smile.Until now, I had never refused a package, let alone twice. Mr. Garcia also explained what the company I ordered my product from was going to do to handle my issue.I would highly recommend this company for any major shipments. If given the choice I will use them again for anything else I ship.
I originally purchased a hood that was shipped through a different carrier and received my package damaged. They other company picked up my package with a forklift and on the way down the ramp it dropped. When i arrived at R+L they carried my package down the ramp by hand and allowed me to check my package and it was in pristine condition. They were very cautious with my package and I applode those gentlemen for that! Staff was very friendly and helpful! You changed my outlook on shipping companies! Thank you so much!

Pulled up not knowing what to expect as Ive been to many freight terminals of various carriers over the last decade. Was night time and property was well lit. When I entered the door a polite driver asked me if I needed any assistance, I asked him where I go for dock dropoff and he showed me the way. Once I got to the office area Jared the manager immediately asked me if I have been helped and then told me where to drive around to and even asked if I needed any help with packaging my pallet, very professional and courteous. The forklift driver was prompt to unload my pallet and I was on my way. This is a top notch operation, felt like even though I was just dropping off 1 pallet that they cared about my business and me as a customer. You do not really experience this class of service at many terminals. And I review every terminal I goto. Keep up the professional work, it is greatly appreciated and Ill be back.

DO NOT USE!!! Bought a pool heater from a company in California. They contract to R & L for shipment. Delivery man got off the truck and had me sign for “receipt of item” before even opening the back of the truck. Brought the heater attached to a pallet into my garage. Box had, what looked like, very minor damage but didn’t think anything of it. Delivery man was nice and asked if I wanted the pallet otherwise he’d take it. I told him I’d be happy if he took it with him and he responded “ don’t tell anyone at my company I did this for you.” Delivery driver drove away and I opened the heater and found the top was dented right by where the box damage was.I called the delivery drivers direct phone number (same number he called me with 10 minutes prior to delivery) and the driver said I had to call the freight company direct. Called and spoke with Hector who said if I signed the receipt then it’s “not their problem”. I wasn’t happy with this and spoke to the manger who said the same thing “it’s not their problem if I signed for it.” I explained how the driver had me sign before the back of the truck was even open and how he took the pallet (says right on receipt that they aren’t supposed to), and how the delivery driver drove off ASAP and the manager just laughed and said “it’s not my problem”. The rudest company I have ever dealt with and you can tell they’ve done this to people before.The pool company is taking care of the damage for me even though it wasn’t even their fault. That is how customer service is supposed to happen... pretty much the exact opposite of R & L. Carriers.I’ll be leaving bad reviews on every type of social media possible. DO NOT USE R & L CARRIERS! Dishonest crooked company!!! Next stop is BBB.

I purchased a piece of equipment for my company R+L was contracted to do the deliver 2 days went by the drop off date. I took the whole 2 days off to recieve this package since you have to sign for it. I called to inquire about the shipment and the lady put me on hold so long the call was redirected and I had to give the new person that picked up the information all over again...These people are lazy and if you need a package from these goofs you will be waiting till they get ready and not when its scheduled.
Ive picked up two items from this location and have had good experiences both times. The last time the guys there stayed a bit past closing time to to find the item and put forth extra effort to make sure I got it.
Completely unprofessional trucking company. Gave several options for a residential delivery as far as leaving our package, delivering to my work (5 miles from residence), or me picking up from their dock. Wanted to charge me an additional $200-$300 extra for any of these options. Ive been in transportation for 20 years and never dealt with a worse trucking firm. DO NOT USE!!!
The delivery ppl do not help you out at all. I had a clearly damaged box and the content in it was also damaged, I pointed it out and asked how do I go about dealing with this damage. They told me to call dispatch to make a note of it. He hurried me into signing the delivery receipt and now I’m fully responsible because I claimed the damage after signing. 1300$ out now. R+L sucks.. unreliable! Thanks a lot!

They left my $1,600 range in the street!!!! It was delivered and left in front of my house in the street!! Will make sure I send an email to upper management at headquarters about this!!!
Terrible policy and way to steal from the innocent. I received a delivery from RL Carriers whom was contracted by Bunk & Loft Factory to deliver my custom made bed. The delivered bed was damaged upon arrival but the RL Carrier goon said to take it up with the Bunk and Loft Factory, made me sign and left. Fast forward to Dec 21st 2018 and I get a Letter from RL Carriers saying Im responsible for delivery charges since Bunk and Loft Factory has not paid them, and they have been unable to get in contact with them. Go to call Bunk and Loft Factory, and they dont answer the phone. Go to the Bunk and Loft Factory website, its no longer available. RL Carriers is now holding me liable for the delivery, which I paid for with the bed i received months ago. Sorry RL Carriers, you will have to spend a few more dollars in court, because I am not paying you, your issue is with the company you contracted with, not me!
By far the worst shipping company Ive ever dealt with. They consistently called the wrong number when delivering and called outside of the agreed upon window (when I told them I would still be at work).After the second attempt I told them to just leave it at my apartments office, but they couldnt find it the first time (remember this is supposed to be a professional delivery company) so I had to give them the address and tell the office clerks to please not take their lunches until midafternoon otherwise they would just return my product to the manufacturer. When I finally received my package (a four drawer filing cabinet) there were noticeable dents. Each time I called the dispatcher he was rude and acted as though these problems were my fault.All told my package arrived 19 days later than projected. Overall an infuriating experience.
