They returned Highlander to me same day - problem fixed and charged me $100. That’s when I started avoiding my free VIP service at Wilde and brought all my vehicles to Baychar. Leo is a great guy to work with. The techs are professional and I made an appointment, took it in that morning and had it done by noon. Reliable people! My car needed its front break pads replaced. I went to the dealership, who were charging a ridiculous amount of money! Baychar is affordable, they have great customer service and they did the job quickly. I even got a follow up text asking how their services were. I absolutely love this! This was my first time at their shop but they have a customer for life. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

These guys didnt just replace the water pump - they installed the water pump gasket, too! A previous shop did not perform that last step, leaving me to leak Toyota Red everywhere. Super-nice staff. Gave me great recommendation on somebody to do a difficult alignment.Ill definitely be back!

Took my 08 DTS in for a new power steering line and to get the directional replaced. I checked several other shops for quotes prior and Leos was very competitive and stayed true to the quoted prices.The car has been working great since the fix and I plan to work with Baychar in the future. Its so nice to take your car to a place you can trust. Many times theyve found that an issue with my previous car was minor and I expensive, when they could have easily told me otherwise and made more money off of me. I trust them, and thats saying a lot.

Needed a new mechanic when we moved to this part of town. Have been bringing our cars to Baychar for over 4 years now. Great service, reasonably priced and, most importantly, trustworthy. They identify the issue that needs to be addressed and have no problem telling you there might be another issue but it can wait. Nor have I ever felt pressure that there was a service I *needed* to have done. Have recommended them to friends.

My mother brought her car here in the 1960s. They have been in business this long because they are good. They do quality work, have good natured staff, and reasonable prices. Most importantly I trust them. I wont take my vehicle anywhere else. A very good business to deal with.

This business is FANTASTIC! It has been family owned for a long time. Leo is AWESOME! As a single woman I was always nervous about going to get my car serviced. Ive seen on tv how so many mechanics will rack up the bill by adding stuff to the bill that was totally not necessary. Leo is 100% trustworthy. I asked him to check a few things last time and he told me the parts were fine!! He could have, and many mechanics would have, said everything needed change. I really recommend his business. I have NEVER been dissatisfied. One more thing, Leo welcomes me everytime and remembers my name. A very nice, personal experience.

The staff is very courteous they walk you through exactly what repairs you need and get to them in a timely manner and the job is done right the first time. Not only that, they are honest (something I think most people fear when taking their car in). The manual quoted my job at 2.6 hours the guys at Baychar told me they think they can beat that time and if they could I would pay less than the quote. They were able to beat that time and I did pay less! They didnt try to sell some other BS repair to run up the bill these guys are the real deal. I havent been to this place in years.I was very surprised when I went there a few weeks ago & Leo remembered me. I needed to have my brakes replaced. I would highly recommend this place for the good service they provide & great Customer Service also.. They only fix the problem & dont try to upcharge. This speaks volumes when looking for a good auto repair place.!

Excellent service. I took my Jeep in for a check engine light. Cylinder 2 misfire. They diagnosed the problem and told me I was covered under my Jeeps original factory warranty and I should go to a Jeep dealership and get it fixed for free. I took my Jeep to Griffins Jeep Hub and they were TERRIBLE. They had my Jeep for 29 days and NEVER fixed the problem. Never gave me a loaner car and wanted to charge me $40.00 a day for a rental. (thats $1,160.00 for 29 days) They told me the problem was NOT covered under warranty and I had to pay $650.00 for a 5 hour block to have their mechanic start pulling out electrical parts and start looking for the problem. I picked up my Jeep and went back to Baychar Auto. I explained the situation and they gave me a loaner car and diagnosed the problem. Faulty rocker arms. They told me they would contact Griffins Hub and tell them what they found and get them to fix my Jeep under warranty. After a whole week of getting NO HELP they suggested that I file a complaint with the better business bureau. Griffins Hub responded and said that they would gladly do the repair if it was covered under warranty. Then they called me and I told them that I knew what the problem was and that it WAS covered under warranty. They said NO. They told me to go somewhere else. Baychar Auto found me a Jeep dealership that agreed to do the repairs under warranty and gave me a free rental car. They even let me keep a loaner car for 2 weeks while they found the dealership that would help me and only charged me $120.00 for the diagnosis. Will DEFINITELY be returning. There are still good people in this world!

I work in the neighborhood and realized I had a flat tire on my lunch break. I called Baychar and they got my car in right away with no appointment. They patched my tire in about 10 minutes and only charged me $15. Great shop! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great prices!

Best service with friendly, knowledgeable staff who dont try to upcharge you if you dont need it. They were the only ones who replied to a quote request with a straightforward price, which was half the cost of what other places charged. Highly recommend: forget anywhere else.

Baychar Auto Service is very reliable for quality service at a fair price. Work is done on a first come, first serve basis, and even fairly complicated repairs are done within a few days.

My car had so many problems. These guys are so friendly and helpful. I got my car back after the first issue was fixed unfortunately it had more problems so they told me to bring it back and even offered to have it towed. They had a loner car which let me continue to live my life and work. My car is out and is running great. Im sure if I have more problems they will get it fixed. Very reasonable prices btw. So happy with the service I received. Highly recommend.

I have been going there over 20 years..my kids go there and now my grand kids...went to flo flos once only cuz baychars was busy NEVER AGAIN!!!!waited so i could go back to baychars... I recently got my brakes done here, and the service provided was great! My previous car was a lemon, and I ended up getting ripped off for all sorts of repairs by various auto repair businesses (including Firestone). Baychar was a completely different experience. The technician explained what was wrong, provided information to make the best decision, and I was put in charge of making the decision instead of insisting repairs done. Labor is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been coming to Baychar since 2012, with an Oldsmobile Alero, Chevy Aveo, Chevy Sonic and now my Hyundai Tucson. I come here because growing up, my family has recommended it and I’ve always lived in the area. I’ve never had my cars serviced at a big brand shop and never will, as long as Baychar is around! Leo is my favorite person, he’s always so kind and friendly and I never feel ripped off. As a woman, you hear a lot about being scammed- but I feel confident, comfortable and familiar with Baychar. My husband has even made the switch and now comes here. I love even more that our dog is always welcomed, so when it’s too hot to walk him while we wait, he can sit in the a/c with me.

I have always had great experiences at Baychar. I always feel like I am being treated very respectfully and receiving straight forward and honest information about my repairs. I have never once had an issue getting an appointment and they are always very quick to check out my vehicle and repair it when necessary. I have never felt like they are trying to up sell me and have never received a quote for unnecessary repairs.

My experience dealing with baychar isnt pleasant very unhappy customer. I was unhappy and voiced my dismay at the service given excuses instead of problem solving. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The waiting room was clean and the area isnt bad. If you want work done there Ill suggest going across the street they treat you as a valued customer with respect and does a 5 star job. in a frustrating time that is car problems.

Everything you read on here about this place is absolutely true. They came and towed my car the same day I called. The very next morning, my car was fixed! They gave me a fair and reasonable price and were very genuine and sincere.

I have been to Baychar repeatedly for routine service, and more in depth issues. They have kept my 93 Oldsmobile running for many years. In addition, their customer service is unbeatable when it comes to mechanics. They have provided me loaners for repairs that would take longer, and allow for after-hours pickups and dropoffs.

Pretty frustrated that all I got was an oil change and they hand tightened my drain bolt. I have oil in my driveway and if I didnt catch it probably wouldve destroyed my 5 year old car. Ive brought my older car there as well with seemingly minor issues, which were never fixed as far as having an engine light coming on and off. Flo Flo is across the street so Ill never return.4-17-19 Baychar Auto You should be proud of your A rating and 65 years, however it does not make you immune to all future work. You competitor was not the one to say anything and it was not three months later before I found the untightened bolt. A few days after the oil change and leak revealed the issue immediately. I made this review because of my own experience, not by anothers exaggerations. Unfortunately, this response tells me all I need to know. As your five star review goes, I am happy to see a local business succeed and I hope others have good quality service.

Fantastic and honest mechanics... a very hard thing to find today. They were recommended by a good friend and it was a great experience. My Dealer told me I needed a $2,300 Head Gasket replacement and was told by Baychar that it wasnt needed and cost me $31.... FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

Let me start off by saying I passed this shop everyday and seen a vehicle that I wanted too buy it was a little older than Ill go for and a lot of work that was done to it before hand. I bought the vehicle drove it home ready to show how nice it was. Unfortunately it wasnt as easy as that the check engine light came on a day or two after being bought. I set up an appointment they check it out. Catalytic converter needs replacing that will be 600 to fix and there was some welding work that had to be done.Baychar had a welder they can call to do the work I obliged. The total came to 872 on top of the 2200 for the vehicle thats a 3000 dollar car that wasnt worth it but I had trusted after this there should be no problems. I picked up the vehicle after it was done and I asked the manager is there anything else wrong or should get replaced he said I was good to go. Yay! now I can get it registered and be on the road.but the check engine light was still on he said it needed time to reset.. a week goes by Im not driving it because it still needed to get registered.but the check engine light is still on so I contact the shop on a Wednesday they are able to see me that next Monday. But Friday comes and the light just goes off I register the car on monday morning then itake it in to keep my appointment because just to be safe I dont want any problems.I wait in the waiting room one of the mechanics tell the manager the welder diddid do what he was suppose to that he has to redo the work they dont know that I heare this convo although they are talking loud enough. So I paid the welder 150.00 to not even do the job right ?? They say I have to bring the vehicle back for him to fix HIS mistake free of charge. I return the next day the welder fixes his problem I pick up the vehicle drive it home sit it in my garage relieved that the car is fixed registered and Im happy. Next day comes I notice after I drop my daughter off at school theres smoke coming from the hood. I call set up another appointment. Friday comes along I bring the car by, and there is no one I notice in the shop.The manager isnt there the guy that looked at the car the last time and notify the manager of the welders mistakes wasnt either. They look it over there is leaking the radiator needs to be replaced I leave the shop look the paper work over and makes plans to call the manager to voice these concerns.monday comes I call the shop 30 mins into opening tell him all of this I bought the car from u guys it came with problems I fixed it at ur shop and the welder messed up and I had to spend more time to get it looked at and worked on. The manager told me the leaking was not there doing the welder wouldnt have damaged it if I dont like how the work was take it to another shop and gave me the run around of talking to the mechanic that was selling the car on their property. All I wanted was some type of discount on the labor for the radiator seeing as Ive invested time coming back and forth to the shop getting work done and needing to get it looked at again and again by the shop because the work done was questionable. The guy Matt who sold me the car who I talked to hasnt gotten back to me its been 2 weeks the shop hasnt called back to check up. Now this shop Ive seen get a ton of 5 star reviews cant help a customer who spent money buying a car from them getting work done by them multiple shop visits which took time out of my schedule when it come have been fixed the first time all i wanted was a discount on a 200 dollar labor job the customer service is great when you dont have a concern,but when u do they talk to you as if you owe them. I got my vehicle fixed after getting off the phone with the manager that very day 2 weeks ago but I was looking forward to a call but they didnt call.

All the guys are professional, I feel I get the best price and service.

I find them to be honest which is important to me. It is a little spendy, though, and there was a brief moment where the banter in the waiting room between staff made me a little uncomfortable. I trust them with my cars, though.

Got an a/c bypass pulley put in on my van a few weeks ago, and just recently belt slipped off, and they say they wont fix unless i pay labor. Doubt it would take very long for them to do it, but i feel they should fix their mistake instead of charging me again.

Ok I have had about 5 repairs done here on 2 different cars, one Honda and one Chevy. Every time Im genuinely surprised to see the bill, when its so reasonable, and so many garages and dealers are the opposite. Recently I had to get a tow for a blown fuel pump, and so I decided to try a place closer to my current home. When I saw what they quoted for the cost I was skeptical and went thru it with the mechanic at the other shop, making sure they knew I didnt need anything but the barebones replacement parts etc., and afterwards I called Baychar... 30 minute conversation (quoted cost less than half the other garage, about $800 less, even With generous labor time bc Baychar wasnt sure whether theyd need to drop the gas tank) and Baychar had their towing partner on the way over to the other shop to snatch my truck. Fuel pump was done over the weekend at Baychar, under their quoted cost. The guys who run the place are friendly and easy going on top of it all. I will NEVER go elsewhere in Milwaukee - THESE GUYS ROCK
